I cannot get through for help from the unemployment office I don’t understand why it says they are open if they can’t even answer the phone

My partner got to speak with a woman today who was incredibly kind. And even though she was unable to help us directly, her attitude, understandinf, and obvious want to help meant so much to us. Thank you so much.

No words can express the deep appreciation we have for Troy! During the chaos of Covid19 my husbands unemployment has been denied for 5 weeks, weve spent hundreds of hours listening to a busy signal trying to call the main salem number and had completely lost hope that we would ever get help or even talk to an actual human being. The stress not only financially but mentally has left our family just hopeless..That is until today when we got the pleasure of talking to an ANGEL name TROY! Troy didnt make any promises just said hed take a look.. The 10 minutes he took to look at my husbands claim completely changed the trajectory of my families life. Its more than the financial aspect by Troy fixing my husbands claim he has released my family of this burden of uncertainty, stress, and anxiety.From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU TROY! May you and your family be blessed 100x for what youve done for my family!

Only leaving a review because theres an unexplained 1 star review. This place offers great services, from basic computer education to job prep courses, as well as what theyre known for, being the beaurocratic go between for employers and potential employees. The staff here does a great job making certain you have what you need and are prepared for whatever job they may help you find. But, they wont do it for you. Put in some effort, and they will work hard getting you a job.
