My internet has given me problems for over a year and every time I call they tell me there is no problem. Everytime they send a tech they tell me they fix something, but the internet never gets any better. Your better off with a company that offers dial-up internet.

If youre going to go with MediaCom first you need to practice throwing $100 in the trash for like 3 months and then call them and get the service so youre used to it. #mediacomsucks

This has to be one of the worst run business models on the planet. They have no way or communicating with different levels of service and won’t get your services fixed the first, second, or even third time. And don’t expect them to call you and find out if it was fixed or to even know who came out to fix it. If there is another option for cable or internet, I implore you to seek it. Even if you have to dig a hole to China, do whatever it takes.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. My internet line to the house got snatched down by a tree company on a Wednesday. The internet is the only way I can use my phone, even for calls and texts in my house. Still, they said the best they could do is Saturday between 1p-5p. It was raining pretty good that day, so I called and asked if they would be able to, and if not could we just reschedule so I disnt have to sit around the house. They assured me it would be done. I randomly get a message saying my appointment was canceled. No reason. No reschedule. I called and he said it was you guessed it, the rain. Rescheduled me for the next day (Sunday). I called at 2pm to see about when theyd be here. It was set for 8am-8pm.....guess who never showed? RIGHT AGAIN! I call back (5th time now?) and get Oh sorry, werent enough techs in the area. And literally thats it. So when will my service be restored? Totally serious I couldnt call 911 if I needed to from inside my house sir. Maybe tomorrow? Is the answer I get. Id rather reply on dial up from 2001 than this company. If you have literally any other option for service than this company, do it. Trust me.**UPDATE** Now its pushed back another day, again without letting me know. Called to get an ETA for today (which was guaranteed just last night) and was told itll be tomorrow. Two supervisors and an hour phone call later, Im still in the dark......

It goes down Everytime it rains takes days to get a service tech trouble shooting never works . Always have to bill even if service is out for days . Not good at all. Even on good days my internet drops and I lose connectivity. TV phone and internet is always on the frits

Cable wasnt good before the hurricane but since has become 100 times worse. Called almost two months ago and I still am missing channels and the ones I have are awful. Was told supervisor would call and never did. Tech never followed through to fix it. Didnt even document our calls so Mediacom claims no knowledge of my repeated pleas for help. Have to start the whole miserable process over again. The worst service Ive ever received for anything in my life including hospitals, restaurants and mechanics.

Mediacoms post hurricane service and sense of urgency to repair service made us ditch them and get direct tv. The price increases they tried to throw on us helped with the decision to switch as well.

Signed up almost a month ago and still have not had internet installed after three technicians have visited. Called to find out issue and was told it could be another 1-3 weeks.I work from home, but you guys could seem to care less, just get the standard sorry sir there is nothing we can do at this time. Truly wish comcast was servicing my area.Your company needs to implement better visibility across all depts.

Internet frequently laggy or out. Cable frequently has channels out or glitchy. Dont go 2-3 months without making a call (and thats while ignoring frequent dips and outages, praying you dont have to call...again) Technicians often unreliable, lazy and/or dishonest. And bill just keeps going up I miss Comcast

Took my money twice still no service sum one keeps calling out of work and cancelling my service installation guy shows up at 9 at night to tell me he will have to come back tomorrow only to find out my installation setup was cancelled again completely useless company do not waste your money and time
