The landfill is always busy. Be prepared during the covid 19 shutdown to wait quite a while in line at the scale house. They do have a nice recycling center. Be prepared to pay for recycling.

42 dollars for 2,000 pounds of trash seems ridiculous to me ! The dump needs to be free like it use to be. Ever since they started charging the whole place got worse insted of better and now we know they got money..

Needs someone nice at the scales. Every time I go with my dump trailer I get the third degree from that lady. She needs to retire or be put in a back office somewhere, a place the public doesnt have to deal with her.

Road is a little rough but to be expected had area for unloading could use to be a little more compacted but I understand theyre working with trash so it is what it is.

People are great! Price is high. Have to pay for city recycling center. Then forced to pay for recycling bin thats only emptied once a month. Id rather just use center if they only going to pick up once a month. Keep my money, and get bin out of my yard.

Staff is great just remember you have to wear a safety vest now. Maintain 15 mph and you will be good. Rates are fair I run a junk and landscaping service there about 3-4 times a week. There is a recycling facility on site to take recycling you will have to weigh in and out. They also have a section for metal recycling refrigerators have to be drained of Freon and have a certificate. Washers dryers and other scrap metal can be put in between the two bins. The photo I posted are a general price guide they do change from time to time.

This place is a dump.... lol. Moderately convenient place to unload large amounts of refuse and recyclables.

What can I say about this place its great to have the dump close to the house ya they do charge a arm and a leg but its kool as long as we get to dump and yes there is one lady there that is extremely rude but hey maybe it could be u that changes her attitudes b nice and you will be treated nice be the bigger person dont make it worse by having an attitudeThere there all day in a small office I would be all pistoff too lol you ladys keep up the good work

Ive been using this landfill since I was a kid. Waste Management handles the place well: Its organized, easy to access, and the price is wonderful given all the waste you can dispose of there and the obvious operational costs the facility must see. People complaining about the price obviously have no comprehension of the median cost for similar services across other counties. The ladies at the entrance are courteous, helpful, and always have a couple lollipops for my helper. ;-)

The lady at the weigh station was rude. We had a water heater to dump and a few other things she told us to drop the heater somewhere seperate from the rest which we did, but it was raining so she said not to dump up at the top of the hill for the rest. We had to use the green bins (not next to the weigh station but in the mud). The lady was extremely unproffesional and stood at the back door of thewiegh station watching us with a cigarettte hanging out of her mouth and then proceeded to yell at us because she thought we were dumping the water heater. No wonder New Mexico has a problem with littering and illegal dumping when you have to put up with with unprofessional people like her at the dump.

Cant believe the cost!! We made three trios and were charged almost 14.00 each run. When I looked it up I thought it was by weight requirement. We went right back, and thought they would allow us to enter again if it was the same day. Ridiculous.......A Rip off if you ask me, no woknder people dump in trash cans throughout the community, and there is so much trash in the hills. I believe it you go back and forth with twenty four hours it should be counted towards the weight requirement. You should take a look at policy and change it to be used friendly. The people that work there are nice enough, just the amount for each trip.

The reviews that complain about it being stinky really make me laugh. Really? Yes, it’s a dump. Ladies have always been curtious to me and for 800+ lbs of junk I only had to pay $15. That’s not bad. If you don’t like the trash or the smell get out of Croch Mesa. It’s a dump for crying out loud and I’m glad they offer the service that they provide.

Women in scale house have to be the most rude individuals i have had to deal with in a long time no supervisor available and voicemail box for his office is full and cant accept messages I would go somewhere else if there was another option. It is disgusting that a large business such as waste management does not hire better help.

The ladies in the scale house are they rudest people I have ever met I tried calling to talk to someone the next day about the ladies and how rude they are but no answer and no way to leave a message.

Open Sat-Sun 9am-5pm Farmington residents can take two loads need a current Electric bill no older than 6 months.
