Can never get anyone to answer the listed phone number in order to speak with someone in person. They might as well save some money and remove all their phones since no one answers them anyway. I had a letter that they tried to deliver on 3/13 when I was not at home. It was not automatically redelivered the next day so on 3/15, I requested redelivery for 3/16 in their online system. Redelivery request was confirmed by 1pm on 3/15 but no delivery was made on 3/16. On 3/17 , I spoke with USPS customer service who said that they would get the station postmaster to call me. No call was received. Goodyear station finally answered their phone on 3/18 after 5 redials with 4 disconnects after long rings and they stated that they had to request that the mail be sent from the Avondale station to the Goodyear station since all carriers work out of Goodyear. Not sure why the undelivered mail was stuck in a station that no one delivers out of and why it took my call to customer service for someone to act on it. Bottom line it will be two more days before the item will supposedly be delivered on 3/20. Seven days to send a piece of mail 20 miles across town. Makes me wonder how they successfully delivered all those mail-in ballots last year to dead people and people that had moved.

Phone is always busy. Automated system cannot help with the question I have.Im a new homeowner in Avondale and they gave me new mailbox keys but didnt put on any documentation which box was mine.I will have to wait until the weekend as their open hours are conveniently my same hours of work. Not the end of the world, but this is poor service.

We keep getting unsolicited mail , we put return to Sender on it and put it back in the outgoing mail box , and the Mail Carrier keeps giving it back to us , she isthreatening to stop all our mail if we continue to put in back in outgoing mail . This mail is junk mail and it is unsolicited .Do your JOB pick up and Deliver the Mail !!! Idiot !!!!!

Picking up mail is very straightforward and fast. Countless times I have been here and anytime Ive needed help, the employees have answered my questions.The only reason Im not rsting 5 stars is because, well, the employees arent as friendly as they are at Chik-Fil-A, but I wouldnt blame them after how I see some people treat them.

The clerks when I need in-person service at the branch (female) are super friendly and helpful and always do an amazing job even though they clearly need more help as lines can get bad. The supervisor however is flat out rude, throws temper tantrums, and is disrespectful towards the staff (Lorenzo). Also, having a lifetime of zero instances of one of my packages being given to someone else, my mail tends to end up in other boxes rather routinely. 2-3 times a week I have other people’s mail in my mailbox and have to play detective and try to figure out who in my neighborhood it was meant to go to. I have received other people’s mail in my mailbox that I had to figure out where in the neighborhood it went 4 times in the last 10 days. Delivery drivers need to be held more accountable and the desk clerks deserve recognition for working hard and not receiving support from supervisors.

I tried to call about why my package hasnt arrived and the clerk on the phone was no help. I gave her the tracking info and she tried to tell me that the item was still in Denver , CO. I dont know what screen she was looking about, but it wasnt even worth debating over it, becasue the item clearly indicated thats its still in Phoenix hub.No effort was made for help, I was bushed off, and this item was scheduled for delivery on July, 28, 2020. And, its vinyl, and my concern for it becoming damaged due to the recent heat, and still no current update on an ETA.I understand the volume of mail coming in, however, have some dignity and integrity about your position. Unless, you dont care or incompetent of the position.Plus, the wrong mail was sent to the wrong location, thank goodness our community is tight. Horrible service!!!

I Started a Small buisness and they have been super patient with the amount of Packages I would take in. Now I just Hand them to my Mail lady but Im grateful they werent rude when I would go in since I Already didnt know what I was doing. Lol

Boom in and out. Im hungry now...... oops. So yes super fast friendly and three employees with no waiting. Cant beat the price and service. Plus did I mention I walked in with an open box and my own tape yet she taped it up for me and didnt use my tape. Its the little things

Paid for first-class mail to send time-sensitive documents for a job position. Sent on 2/4/2019. It is been stuck in transit since 2/14/2019. repaid for documents and reshipped through FedEx. Too late, the job opportunity has passed. I do not recommend the USPS for anything important. Pay the few extra bucks at UPS or FedEx.

I had been liveing with my roommate for over a year now receiving all my mail at his house such as personal purchases and private information of mine. Well now all of a sudden they have decide to return my mail to the sender. I had a personal item I bought and it was returned to sender and I cant get ahold of them to receive my item again and my car title to my car was also returned to sender. Very disappointed with the situation. I have been waiting for my car title for over a month and same with my personal purchase and now I am out of money on my purchase because the online store wont contact me about receiving my item. Very upsetting...

Its all about the people! Rhonda is the friendlist, most helpful post office agent Ive ever encountered. She gave my husband and me amazing service. She was not only incredibly patient, but she made the effort to help us figure out the lest expensive way to ship our four boxes, and she actually helped us re-package two of them in a way that would save on shipping costs. The post office shoud have her train all their agents in how to give real, friendly customer service, then everyone would want to use the post office instead of trying to avoid it!

I didn’t know my package had to be signed for and have so far scheduled FIVE redeliveries and it still hasn’t shown up and got confirmation numbers for them but no package. I have stayed home all day all week just so I do not miss it!! When I call the post office there is nothing but endless ringing. Called the 1800 number and they said that all they can do is reschedule a delivery.

Always takes forever. Today waited 15 minutes just to be told their system is down and they have had problems since Saturday. No note.. Nothing.. Make you wait in line then tell you they cant help you. Place is run down and filthy. Our government at work... SMH

This isn’t about the branch location. This is about the phone number. We should be able to contact this direct branch. The 1-800 number is complete BS. The run around in the automated service is asinine and frustrating to say the least. Wait times are generally over an hour to speak with someone. Do not forget to ask everything humanly possible about your situation, problem, or issue because you will have to take another 15 minutes working the automated system to then wait an hour+ for a call back. The whole system needs an update, and is in desperate need of more phone staffing. Please can we fund the USPS properly again, so we can get better customer service already?!

I experienced excellent customer service when I was having trouble with my mailbox key. I went in on Thursday explained the problem and my mailbox was re keyed by the following Monday. No hassle and was done right. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Mail gets delivered fine but heaven forbid you get a package. tlThey LOVE to not put the key in your mail box so you can get the package out.Edit. Here I am 3 weeks later and 6 more packages not delivered on time and shipped to other post offices for u known reasons.

I was waiting for a letter in the mail to verify my address for my sons school district. I called this office to see if they could tell me when the mail person would be coming to my neighborhood. The gentlemen that helped me called the lady delivering our mail and she met me right away. I was very impressed.

Always 1 or 2 people working, as slowly as possible with no sense of urgency. They are incredibly talkative as if a line out the door isn’t motivation enough to keep the line moving! The worst I’ve seen! And I’m typing this as I wait in line, having waited foreverrrrrrr. Annoyed! If I could give 0 Stars, I would.

I have been in the Goodyear Post Office several times and every time I visited the Goodyear Post Office Ive always received fast efficient courteous help from employees who are always happy to help also the building is always clean inside and out just seems like a good place to work and have your mail delivered to

Horrible I always get wrong mail and I dont always receive my packages and I know they are not being stolen from my house because I work from home and have security cameras installed. This is ridiculous its not hard to read and match house numbers!Also they dont pick up the phone and when they do be ready to be placed on hold for a very very long time!

I hate this post office. TWICE in the last two weeks I have received opened mail. The contents of one of my letters had been stolen. I believe that the new letter carrier has been going through my mail and stealing whatever it is they like. Its odd that in 30 years I have never received opened mail and suddenly its happened twice in one week. THERE IS A THIEF AT THIS LOCATION. Avoid at all costs. Or better yet, just use Fed Ex.

Worst USPS office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Not only will a visit to their office leave a bad taste in your mouth, but their phone service is far worse. Dont even bother calling them directly, they will leave you on hold for over an hour and then disconnect the call. Thats if you can even get through in the first place. I wish I didnt live in their service area, the surrounding post offices are all much better than this one.

As mentioned in my other statements about USPS regarding the lack or urgency and empathy, USPS has good people working for them. The system used and this building needs to jump to the 21st Century. Lorenzo (Estrella) saved the day by going to the USPS in Downtown Avondale to find my certified mail.He knew it was there unfortunately Avondale USPS didnt give a better effort. It took me 4 trips. Lorenzo owned up and represented USPS well. I wish USPS employees would model after him.

I have 3 postmen and 2 never bring me my packages. Sometimes my neighbors bring them to me instead cause they put in wrong post office box or I just never receive it. Beside the 1 man who always brings my packages to my door I really dislike the other two.

Theyre just about your average post office. Neither bad nor awesome. Lines are usually not very long. Hours seem kinda flakey to me, but hey, its a govnt building. I like the shiny package envelopes they have.

I have moved all over the country being in the military. Whenever I move to a new location I just fill out a change of address form and have had no issues receiving my mail. I just bought a new home and submitted a change of address form which was accepted, however that is not enough here. At this post office location you must also fill out an additional form alerting the post man that you have moved as well. This kind of defeats the purpose of submitting a change of address form. My Amazon order was considered undeliverable because the additional form was not left in my own mail box just FYI to newcomers to Goodyear.

The people responsible for this facility are unresponsive, incompetent, and insensitive. Parcel bins are in such bad repair that they cannot be unlocked. I have reported the problem on six separate over the past year and, despite promises to fix it nothing has been done

I have called many times,i have called all day for days and noone answers, as i dont understand why? Why my packages get sent back and not delivered to my house for which now i am losing my business as well as hundreds of dollars in fees dut to this incompitance and am thinkn about a formal.complaint, for lose of money and lively hood! I just moved to Avondale and have had multiple grievances with the local PO. I purchased a new home and needed to obtain keys from the PO. I went to the office, gave them my info and they told me to call back in 2 days to see if they had the keys ready for my box. Annoying, but I complied. I called... and called... and called. No one would answer the phone. I went to the PO and obtained my keys, asked which box in the communitys mail box stop was mine. The lady at the desk had no clue. Disappointed I went to the mail boxes and tried every lock. OMG there were 50 of them to try and the keys provided failed to work in a single box. I went back to the PO to notify them, where they informed me that I, a new build owner, would have to purchase a new lock for $80! I refused to pay it and demanded they tell me (1) which box was mine and (2) fix the lock that the box had. They eventually figured out which box was mine and replaced the corroded lock free of charge. To add to this circus, in the 6 weeks we have lived here Ive had 3 packages brought to my door where they were marked as requiring additional postage, in order for me to receive them! The first 2 were from Amazon Prime (which I should add were lost in the Avondales hub for nearly 2 weeks) and the third from my mother in law (who used her PO to ship the item). I find it far easier to believe that the Avondale POs scale is the problem and not Amazon Prime shipping or my MILs PO office. Seriously considering getting a PO Box through the UPS store to avoid the crap storm known as the Avondale USPS hub.
