I usually go to Salons for my haircut but I decides to go to this barbershop since my usual place was closed. Atmosphere was chill but it took almost an hour to cut my hair. And all I can say is that I’ve never been so depressed about a haircut in my 17 years of living. Now I gotta wear a hat for the next 2 weeks.

Amazing spot! Me and my son both went to get out haircuts their for the first time and let me tell you that I had got the best haircut I ever got! The barber named charbel did a very very good job on me and my son. My son also requested for a design and I was just fascinated by the work of art charbel did on him. Gave me the freshest fade ever! Been going to him ever since and will recommend anyone to go to him! He knows what he’s doing and anything you requested, it will get done!

Got hair cut on this past Thursday by one of the Iranian brothers with the first chair on the right side when you enter. I noticed after leaving that he literally pushed my hairline about a half inch above my ears. The soonest I could return to the barber shop was Sunday, today due to work. I had taken pictures and asked the barber to just blend the hairline as a low fade to fix his mistakes. He told me I would have to come back in one hour. I returned and he made me wait 2 hours, and then another barber was asked to correct his problem. Then the other Iranian brother asked me to pay another $25. Both brothers were very rude considering that I have been coming there every week. I have even recommended several friends but I will now advise them to use another barber shop. I will never return to this barber shop because I feel that they discriminated against me. They clearly screwed up but tried to take it out on me. They have no class - beware..

The guy in the second chair on the right talks way too much while cutting your hair he pushed my line up about an inch higher than it was and it looks like my head is shifted to the side because on my line up he went to far to the left then he says its going to run $25 , when I asked what happen on my line up he said that his machine was shaking and moving I wasnt able to get his name but I wouldnt recommend going to atown or at least getting a hsircut from the guy in the second chair on the right

Quick service, I’m always happy with the haircut no matter who cuts it. The barbers are friendly and are considerate of your time. They are consistent. The place is clean and organized, the AC is nice and cool. Conversation is kept respectful. All of the gentleman there are so nice and pleasant. As a mom I do feel a little out of my element going to a barber shop but they are so nice and love that they like to have a conversation:) they always make my son look so sharp and sophisticated. These guys know how to do hair (they also have beautiful hair cuts and bears themselves)

Been coming here for about a yr now I been through old management to the new Owners. Johnny first chair on the left is my barber, pays close attention to detail, patient but quick with my cuts. My hair is pretty difficult to fade n I’m very pleased every time I leave the shop! Family oriented shop, always really welcoming, friendly. I’ve referred a lot of my boys to come here. Close to the freeway that’s a plus no matter what direction your coming from!!! 5Stars!!!

Clean and quick. They are text book barber shop. Friendly guys and will get to you as soon as possible. Surprisingly not that busy so I’m usually in an out real quick. They have a little play area for kids so you can bring children. They also sell drinks as you wait (pop, water, bottled coffee). Average price for a men’s haircut is $18. Hot shave is available but I’ve never got it. Also no gimmicky stuff like loud club music or electric massagers. Just come in, get a cut and go.

Not sure what his name is, but he cuts on the second chair. Mexican guy, very nice with glasses. Ive been trying to find a barber who can fade my hair like I want it and hes amazing!!! Precise cut!!! Gotta try him out for a fade

Im not sure what with all the recent bad reviews. However, I must say I visited this barbershop for the first time this week. Having been to a number of barbers prior to using A-Town Barber Shop, I can say they are simply the best. I was immediately greeted by the owner, whom also cut my hair. I left there with an experience beyond my expectations.

My husband had gone to the same barber for almost 20 years on the other side of town... went into A Town for convenience and hasnt gone back to his old place since, that was about 2 years ago! The young men working in this shop are extremely talented and give a fantastic cut every time.

I have come here a handful of times and have never left satisfied. The barbers here seem to not care and are not professional what so ever. Today i went in for a simple line up with points on the side, while getting cut they guy was placing a lunch order and it felt like he was in a rush to get on break. After he had finished the sides were completely different, and the “line up” was crooked as hell thankfully Dmndkutz barbershop hooked me up and fixed what they have continued to mess up. DO NOT COME HERE TO GET CUT!

This is my first ever cut at phoenix, Arizona honestly one of my cousin recommended this barbershop and i went to. The wait is ridiculous ! Husband got there about 10:30 and he just got done with hair cut 12:30. So if you want to wait that long then this is the place to come and on top of that he didnt get cut like he wanted had to tell the guy how he wanted it oh and Btw regulars are first in line. I have gone only twice to this barber shop & both times I felt racially profiled by the two foreign owners. I also noticed when I received a hot towel shave the towel smelled horrible like its been dragged through the street. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this shop to anyone.

As the co-owner of A-Town Barber Shop for almost nine years, we were very selective about who we sold our business to. The new owners are genuinely good-hearted people and are very clean. They invited my family to their home for dinner and treated us like their own. They are loving and respectful, wanting nothing more than to be successful business owners. They were very excited for their new journey!It is truly disappointing to see all of these negative reviews, because of one barber who chose to quit - because he did not like the options presented to him. I fully support anyone who wants to better themself or grow; however, trying to bring someone else down and purposely hurt them out of spite is immature and unnecessary - not to mention selfish. There are still talented barbers working there that could be affected by these false claims. You can sever ties and move on, without defaming. Blowing out someone elses candle does not make yours shine any brighter.The racial comments and calling the new owners dirty people is inappropriate. Also, the comments about the dirty towels are absolutely false. They are sanitary and abide by the Arizona Board of Barber standards, just like we always did. Why would any of the barbers knowingly use a dirty towel on multiple customers (according to the reviews)?! If state board came in and witnessed this, they could be fined. The barber shop license is active and has passed every single inspection ever had, which is necessary to keep a barber shop open.Everyone who is leaving a negative review because they are being coached to do so should be ashamed of themselves. I really hope that people reading the reviews see the pattern and dont believe the lies. We left A-Town Barber Shop in the hands of a great family, who put their hard-earned money towards their dream. Give them the same chance that you gave us. You wont be disappointed.

Best shop in the West period.Miggy cant fix ugly, but he and the rest of the shop and fix your hair. For sure! So if you need a cut and dont want to get your hair messed up, cruise by A-Town.

I really like this Barber Shop . Mike did a great job on my sons haircut and he took his time . I went to a few other barber shops in the area and I did not like his haircut.
