I was looking for a specific camera for an upcoming trip. Most of the big on-line vendors were offering the item, but were saying that delivery could take months. Found the item at PIXEL Connection. Zakk is phenomenal!! He always made time to thoroughly answer my questions and has personal professional experience with a lot of their products.I had plenty: I’m a digital camera newbie as my last camera was an all manual Nikon F2AS…lolI wanted a FUJIFILM GFX 100 for myself. Zakk managed to hunt one down through his Fuji rep in short order even though the camera body is pretty hard to get.I was so pleased I decided to buy a Nikon Z7ii system from him as well for my daughter!Great job, Pixel Connection!!

I had an excellent experience here and the staff was very helpful.

I took the Editing Milky Way Photographs Workshop with Zakk and it was outstanding. He used one of the unedited photographs I took of the Milky Way and walked me through the editing process step by step using tools in Lightroom and Photoshop. Some of the tools I was familiar with and others I never thought of using and the results were so impressive. I must mention that I had a rather unique situation for taking the class and am so grateful to the Pixel Connection. I inadvertently signed up for the class thinking it must be online (I admit I did not pay close attention when signing up) and not at the Ohio location. After contacting Zakk at the Pixel Connection, and explaining that I am in California, he was kind enough to accommodate me and conducted a remote session. This type of customer service is so unusual, and I highly recommend the Pixel Connection and Zakk in particular for his expertise and teaching skill.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They let me test out a few different cameras in store, spoke to me at length about my needs and various models, and recommended relevant upcoming events. Had a nice local vibe I was glad to support with my business.

Matt is super easy to talk to and do business with, and even returned my call from his person cell after hours. The prices are very competitive with the big outfits in New York and the personal follow-up is far superior to them. My most recent purchase was a Canon lens, which was back-ordered (out of their control). I received a reassuring message that they had not forgotten about me while I waited, a phone call the day they received the lens from Canon, and another message to let me know when it would be delivered and who the carrier would be.What more could you ask for from an internet retailer?

These guys rock! Ive been searching high and low for the new and highly coveted Canon R5, and have been on a number of waitlists for months to no avail. I commented something to that effect on a post Ihor made in a local photography group, and he took the time to message me a number of hours later saying they unexpectedly had a single R5 show up! What a surprise that was, especially considering the high demand for that camera right now, Im confident they would have had no trouble at all selling it ASAP without me! The level of customer service to personally reach out to me was surprising in the best possible way. When I called the store to purchase it, Michelle was very kind and helpful taking my information. I cant wait to pick it up this week, and The Pixel Connection has certainly gained a fan in me!

When I went in to shop for a gift for my wife they were able to see what she currently owns and what products fit best and we’re very knowledgeable about their products and took the time to explain everything to me. The owner even helped me out tremendously. I love shopping here, I’ll definitely be back!

Bought from seller via eBay. Camera lens was defective (Auto Focus didnt work). Returned item in new condition, all in original package. Seller lied and said it wasnt returned in the original box and the lens was dirty (I even had a lens protector on the entire time, and I babied it, because it was a thousand dollar lens) Deducted over a hundred dollars, because he couldnt sell it as new. Keep in mind, its a defective product. You dont want to do business here. Shady people.

Oh yes, these guys are great, Ive looked through the internet for this lens and this guys are the only one I could find it from that wasnt back ordered.  And the service I received was fast and straight to the point. I thought they were joking when they said i was gonna receive it in 2 days and I did. Another amazon prime shipping.

Employees are very knowledgeable about cameras (mostly digital but they do some film camera stuff too). I like that you can try most lenses etc. before you buy either by renting them or just putting them on your camera body and snapping a few shots to make sure the lens works with your camera.They also sell many accessories (camera straps, off camera flashes etc.)Give them a try! You wont regret it.

Pixel Connection is an asset to the photography and videography communities. Their customer service is excellent and appeals to all levels of knowledge. They make exchanges/returns easy. They also host several special events such as their Demo Day which is an excellent opportunity to meet manufacturer reps, try new equipment, and generally learn more. Based on all of this, Im willing to drive an hour whenever Im considering a purchase.

Communication was great. I purchased a lens on preorder that was due to be released just days before a trip I wanted it for. They made sure everything was set up so I would get it the day before I left, and that there wouldnt be any issues. Avoid, the blocked me on Facebook after asking what the “Black Friday” Rebel was, and pointing out it was weird you could buy it online without them ever saying which model it was. Definitely a bait and switch. Employees might be nice, but clearly the business is okay with being sketchy so I will avoid and recommend friends to avoid.

I purchased a Sony A7Riii from them over Amazon. For unfortunate reasons I had to return it. It was returned unopened, in the exact box they shipped it to me in. They then kept $400 of the price and all of the sales tax. Th camera was shipped back at my expense exactly following their return instructions. Do not buy from this company, they will lie to you and keep your money!

I had done my homework and knew that The Pixel Connection was an authorized Sony retailer. I purchased it and then called Customer Service when they opened for the day. They assured me that it I was indeed able to.purchase it. I called them a few more times to make sure and to ask another qustion, and they were very nice and friendly and made me feel welcome.
