We were out of town travelers stranded with a dead vehicle at our hotel when Christian brothers drove to the hotel, quickly diagnosed the problem, got the car started hobbled it down to the shop and within an hour we were driving with an intact car. I was torn about leaving this review but I believe the constructive criticism is warranted. I scheduled an appointment specifically requesting a complimentary courtesy inspection in order to obtain a second opinion on a repair. I was excited about trying out Christian Brothers as weve heard good things and the reviews were very positive. When I dropped off my car at 8AM for the Courtesy Inspection I was advised that it would cost $114.00 plus shop costs and tax, and that the courtesy inspection was included with that fee. When I questioned why this cost was never communicated when I scheduled the appointment, I was advised that Id have to pay for the labor involved in diagnosing the issue and test driving the vehicle. I can appreciate wanting to be thorough, and that there may be a cost involved with identifying the root cause of the problem. However, this experience felt like more of a bait and switch and I felt pressured into agreeing to pay a fee that was not communicated over the phone. I have no doubt that the technicians are qualified, and that my car would have been serviced properly, but I was very dissatisfied about my time being wasted and not being advised about the $114.00+ fee when scheduling the appointment. Honestly, it felt very similar to my previous experiences with dealerships and thats exactly what I try to avoid. Needless to say I left without paying the hidden fee, and luckily was able to obtain a free inspection and quote from a local competitor that also threw in a cookie. I believe a 3 star review is warranted as there is room for improvement and additional transparency. Also an asterisk should likely be added to the Complimentary Courtesy Inspection thats advertised.

I took it down the street and was told the battery is good and quoted $400 for the starter.Continued: after my poor review I was immediately reached out to by David- he was very kind and easy to communicate with. He wanted my honest input and wanted to find a way to work with me. I was very very impressed and surprised by this gesture and am going to have to give them another try! This was easily the best auto shop Ive been to. They were super professional and accommodating from start to finish. They obviously knew I wasnt local, but they didnt care. I was provided a shuttle back to my relatives residence, I was sent emails and texts updating me on the progress of my vehicle, and when my vehicle was done, they had it outside the main entrance waiting for me before I was even done paying. Each time I was on the phone or in person, they showed respect and patience. I would definitely recommend this place to ANYONE! When you feel like family, and not just someone thats only good for the money, it makes you want to come back.

I had an inspection done on my 263,000 mile car here, everyone was so nice and they were so thorough! I love that they take pictures of what is wrong, and then send you a text link showing everything they checked and all the pictures. Its so cool! Highly recommend :)

In one word WOW. From the minute I called their number after my car broke down, and spoke to the technician on the other end of the line, I heard a voice inside me saying “ don’t worry everything’s gonna be all right “ . He gave me numbers to the tow truck, took all my info and offered a shuttle to pick me up . I felt the genuine concern they had for me . On reaching there the entire process of the repair was explained and what I loved was the manner in which everything was done via text . Easy to follow repairs being done , pictures of the work need to be done , estimates and approval done with just a click on my phone. Work began promptly and before the end of the night I knew what was going on with my vehicle and to add to that the repairs were done the next day, 1 day before scheduled and for what I think was a great price after dealing with dealerships for years . Thank you CBA and my technician Chris keep doing what you guys do cause your doing an Awesome job.

I investigated Christian Brothers Automotive for my small fleet of vans because they are close to my shop. I was so impressed with the service!!! I quickly received texts/emails with information on the inspection of my vehicle, and they were able to fix problems they found the same day. They even work with a tire store, and took my vehicle to get the tires replaced the same day. I will use them for all my vehicles moving forward. They installed my breaks incorrectly which could have caused a major issue had I not been luck to catch the error. They offered to fix the issue for free but would not give me any money off for the inconvenience and error only offered store credit well if you cant put breaks on correctly why would I come back for more?

I needed an oil change, they were completely booked. Kevin made it work anyway, he asked if i could leave my vehicle and they would fit it in. He offered to shuttle me home. I absolutely accepted. Kevin took me home and since we only have the one vehicle he also offered to pick me up. I was so very appreciative. Unfortunately one of their guys became ill and had to go home so they were down a person. This business is so wonderful that Kevins wife came to pick me up when my vehicle was finished. Annie came to my home in their personal vehicle with their beautiful little children and picked me up. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere where else for service. I loved hearing Christian Music as I walked into the shop, seeing Bibles all over for people to read, Christian authors, the clean atmosphere, and the friendly staff.Some customers came in and talked with the workers for 30 mins! I recently took my car to Christian Brothers in Avon for an oil change. I was actually caught off guard at first because the outside of the building looked nothing like your average car maintenance shop and even more so when I walked inside. The lobby made you feel like walking into your own home, with a big almost fluffy leather chair and couch with beautiful end tables and lamps it almost made you forget why you where there. The employees where very friendly and offered me water and soda and I very much enjoyed the Christian music that was playing. I will be making Christian Brothers in Avon, my go to oil change facility from now on and suggest you do the same.

I recently relocated to the area from out of state, and this was the first time my car has needed service since weve moved. The shop was very clean, the staff was very communicative and friendly about the status of my vehicle and the repairs necessary, and I felt the pricing was very fair. I came to Christian Brothers seeking a second opinion. I wanted to be sure that my Air Conditioning issue was appropriately diagnosed because the previous shop didnt exactly ooze confidence that a $1500 fix was going to take care of the issue. Christian Brothers stepped right in and performed a COMPLETE look at the vehicle, confidently diagnosing the A/C issue, and then came in $600 lower just for the A/C issue! They had everything fixed up the same day, provided amazing phone and email communication throughout the day, and I couldnt be happier! I almost cant wait for my next Christian Brothers experience!

I was visiting from out of state when my engine light came on and found and found these great folks to take my car to. Long story short I needed to be on the road Home the next day and they were able to diagnose and repair the problem for me immediately so I could get back home. I just had my 2009 Rogue in for a new exhaust system. What I like about them is that they send a detailed description of the work to be performed so it can be discussed prior to giving the go ahead. I have never seen this before and it is very helpful. I do not know a lot about cars but they explain all the options and costs so I can make an informed decision. They communicate very well and get the jobs done when they say they will get done. It was a great experience and will be back.

I called and asked if they could fit me in the next day for an oil change. Isaiah said if i could drop it off at 10, he would. Even offered me a ride back home! Very surprised at their text messages and emails with pictures of my car at various stages of the service. I got a report of some things that needed to be addressed, with a written estimate! The email scheduling was easy, the man at the front desk was pleasant, the music was wonderful, the waiting room was very comfortable. It was a little expensive for an oil change but I think its the going rate so I wasnt over charged. Just wish I had a coupon, I suppose.

Like most people, I hate taking my car in for repairs. My family is going on a long trip this summer and I wanted to get our vechicle checked out before the trip. Christian Brothers fit me in their busy schedule with less than 12 hours notice. They thoroughly inspected the car, documenting all issues with photos and a detailed explanation that they sent in an email and called to explain. The cost to fix the problem was way under my guess. They quickly performed the repairs and returned the car that day. The staff is so friendly and the workmanship excellent. Christian Brothers restored my faith in the repair business and they earned a customer for life. I highly recommend this business! Fantastic business and even better people!

The friendly staff was eager to greet me and offer assistance for what I needed. They provided me the options, the prices, and their recommendation. They provided a free shuttle service to my home, which was a very clean and roomy SUV. They called me when the repairs were done, and let me know they were test driving it and then it would be ready. I asked for them to come get me again using the shuttle, and they called again when they left to come get me. The price was exactly what was advertised with no hidden fees or unnecessary upselling. Their shop was clean and comfortable. They even called me a few days after I picked it up to make sure it was running good with no problems and I had a good experience. This is the way Auto Service should be! I will be using Christian Brothers for all of my car repairs from now on!!

They were very thorough in their diagnosis including pictures and email. While not the cheapest in the auto repair business, they are top notch, honest, and met me half way on a charge that, in reality, they could have insisted was a new problem and not part of the original repair. I appreciated that and will use them again.
