Have been there 4 times, twice the food was not good, twice it was pretty good. The atmosphere is nice. The lighting and signage outside is horrible at night.

I was there at an event last week. I loved the very elegant chandeliers and banquet chairs. It is a very classy place. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen anywhere. There was lots of water for dinner which is my pet peeve when you cant get more. I especially loved the flambaye presentation. The whole staff came out and joined in. It was alot of fun. I had never been their before. The most amazing thing to me was how fast they got everyone served. There was at least 200 people and we could tell our table was going to be last. The hostess was there in 10 minutes telling us we were next. The Ice sculpture with the appetizers was beautiful. Very nice place. Class act all the way around.

We attended an event there recently, and were so pleased we had to post a review. It was so nice to have food that was made fresh for catering; not frozen baked off preservative junk! It is hard to find FOOD MADE FOR THE MASSES that is not gross.

I had my wedding reception a few weeks ago at The Fountain Bleau. My fiance and I (and parents) were so happy with everything. I felt they offered more promotions to choose from then other venues. We chose the one with free decorations, centerpieces, ceiling sheers, uplighting, etc. The room was beautiful. They keep up with all the modern trends. Some places free centerpieces were out of the 80s, they had numerous options, and the lighted twigs with gems that we were looking for. We also used our dessert as the wedding cake, which they made in house. That was a big money saver also. We did not have to go out and buy a cake and deal with another cake vendor and florist vendor for the venue. (and tr and return all the stuff the next day) We were able to have fun, and just leave when the party was over. So many of my guests have been saying how good the food was also. The planners were very nice and attentive. Over all 5 star for sure.

The Fountain Bleau made my wedding day everything I wanted and more. Melissa & Sheri were so helpful. They answered all my questions and gave me great ideas I never thought of. The food got rave reviews from my guests and my parents were so happy. We ordered a buffet and all 200 guests were through in 15 minutes and it was piping hot. They helped my grandparents by bringing their plate to them. My grandpa said that never happens! Everything went so smooth and perfect. I am glad a co worker who had their wedding there recommended them. She had her wedding there, and her brother. She said both went off perfectly, they were great to work with, and the food was delicious. A+++

My stepdaughter had her wedding scheduled and because of Covid it was canceled. They paid in full and were trying to reschedule. After many emails they were still getting the run around. We found out that they sold the building and Has not returned one phone c.AllMy stepdaughter aner husband have given them every opportunity to work something out with them they finally sent an email requesting the full refund of their money because they just wouldnt work with them at all.

BEST SERVICE EVER!I had a beautiful wedding and with Melissas help I saved a fortune doing it. In addition to great advise I was able to bring in my own alcohol, got free centerpieces, free up-lighting and extra reception time - free as well!I feel like I got a wedding planner for free as well. Every detail was gone over and I was completely comfortable with the venue, the staff and the prices. GREAT VALUE - GREAT EXPERIENCE!

My fiance and I were having our second wedding. We wanted great food and service at a reasonable price. We did LOTS of searching and could not find what exactly stood out as ideal. Then a coworker showed up on a Monday and said I had to vist The Fountain Bleau. The food was really good and everyone got there food all together fast. She said the room was really, really beautiful. We went to check it out and were very impressed, especially how sincerely nice they were. (believe me when I say some acted so snobby when you toured!) I contacted them after the wedding to thank them and told then we would act as a reference to anyone that asked. They did mention how many people thank them but never go on to post a review. I do know why.. it takes a lot of time to set up accounts and answer a million questions. However they deserve it so I did this so all would know! I truly cannot come up with a single negative comment!

From my first meeting with Melissa I knew I was in good hands! She was amazing to work with and delivered everything (and then some) the night of our event!! Our event was a surprise retirement party for my husband for 200 people! She made the entire process effortless. The food was perfect, room looked beautiful and the entire staff was friendly and professional as could possibly be! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

I had attended a wedding and so I decided to have them cater my wedding. The sales coordinators really gave me great ideas to fit the most important things to me into my budget. The food was wonderful and everything turned out great, again! I am so happy !

The staff at The bleau really made our event wonderful. The food is very good and flavorful. It was very enjoyable for all; and I have some picky family. You really get a lot of value for every dollar spent. The timing ran so smooth it was impressive for everyone was served so timely Food that was memorable was most important to us and it was more than we could have hoped for. It was great to have everyone so happy with their meal. Thank you!. We will be back for sure!

Loved the food! They had a chicken in gravy that just fell apart it was so tender. The mashed potatoes were real, and seasoned so well I asked for the recipe. They said the secret was sour cream and garlic. Yum! I just wished there was seconds in everything! It was so good.

I went to see the venue and it’s gorgeous! I wanted to sit down a second time and go over paperwork to book it and after that, the communication was lost. I’ve had to email them multiple times before someone responds. This last time, I never received an email back so I just moved on.Communication is key considering wedding planning can get pretty stressful.

We had an event here recently. We booked the hall 6 months in advance, at that time we signed the contract and gave them a rough number of guests, the lady Sheri said don’t worry about this number you have time till a week before the event to change the number(increase or decrease). My wife met Sheri 3 weeks before the event and told there are 90 people for the event, she put in 90 adults and 30 kids ( I don’t know from where they made this assumption), so they charged us for 120 people because of their wrong assumption and kept ignoring all the emails till the day of the event. It’s very common of them to NOT ANSWER your phone calls or emails once they make you sign the contract. Even her manager Melissa hides somewhere and pretends to be busy always. Even during the event they didn’t care to fill the entrees as they were emptying we had to go call someone in the kitchen to get that addressed, we had paid for the pasta but they never brought it out until 30 minutes later when my wife went and complained. I am never stepping foot in this place ever again nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

While they put on a good show for you and pull out all the bells and whistles when youre taking a tour of this place, thats about the extent of the good traits you see in this venue. The owner/manager is very rude and not helpful to the extent that she was literally yelling with 2 vendors in front of us and once walked away in the middle of me asking her a question. She will swear she tries to get back to everyone within 2 business days unless its a weekend, but taking a week or more to answer a few questions about things that you should know know about your venue like the back of your hand, is unacceptable especially when it involves the most important day of your clients lives. The venue decor is outdated and doesnt have much opportunity to bring outside decorations in, the ceiling tiles are all sagging from age, everything seems to be spray painted gold, they will tell you half truths about whats included in the centerpieces, the outside by the gazebo is severely lacking maintenance and decor. The cement pavement for the walkway is cracked and uneven, the planters are cracked and falling apart, the grass is brown dry and sparse, theres gravel where the chairs go and the bushes need taken care of. Take it from someone who just got married here, do yourself a favor, choose somewhere else.

We would NEVER RECOMMEND this venue to anyone!!!!!! Communication is extremely poor!!!! Didnt receive are food to take home that evening!!!! There was no one around to follow through with what we asked!!!! Pasta was very dry we asked for extra sauce & didnt receive it. I wouldnt be surprised if they shut there doors!!!! Everything is so true to the above comments on there unsatisfied customers!!!!

Worse customer service everSigned up in September 2016 with a depositMy company had a labor dispute and had to cancel in January. We called everything seemed cool they said you just dont get your deposit back. Okay I understand its a business but wait they call me end of may with only a few weeks till the supposed wedding asking if we our still on. I stated no we cancelled in January and thats when Melissa got snippy. Blaming us for a miscommunication and expecting us to pay for a event we cant afford cause of a hardship we had to endure from my company. All the other places we signed with understood and cancelled no problem not this place. Seems they expect you to stay on the hook regardless. Good business practice

PLEASE READ!!! I had my wedding there 2 weeks ago. I Have only great things to say about this place. I was originally going with a downtown venue that was way more money. (I thought that meant better) I am glad I booked the Fountain Bleau and not the downtown venue ( it took forever at that venue to serve my friends plated dinner... 3 1/2 hours despite all those nice reviews) I choose the Fountain Bleau because so many people told me they had been to a wedding there, the food was so good, it was so gorgeous, and they had such a great time. I took a leap of faith. My wedding was exactly as I asked it to be. The staff really bent over back wards to help us in every way. I had seen some bad reviews pop up 4 months ago and got nervous. Ironically, my co workers boy friend was at this R.Os wedding. I got the true story. The bride had a melt down because it was going to rain and could not have her ceremony outside. She was yelling at the staff at the dress rehearsal the day before and before the wedding. She refused to discuss it. It rained so bad that there were flood warnings and streets were closed all across Cleveland. The bride made the wedding party wait two hours before she showed up the day before and made all the guests wait an hour before the ceremony started while she had a melt down again. He said it was embarrassing and if he was the staff he would have never let her talk like that and would have given back her money and told her to go elsewhere. He also said the food was great and the prime rib was perfectly rare with aus jus and horseradish sauce; very yummy! (not cold). I asked the staff about not getting back to people, I never had that problem. They always got back to me immediately or with in one business day. I think people should know the truth, and not have undo stress caused by reviews not at all true. I had 250 guests and I am still hearing how much they loved my reception.

I am a 53 year old woman who has been in customer service for 30 years! I have never in all these years experienced such a lack of customer service in my life.The woman who is in change of the entire venue was rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate at every level. She acts like you are inconveniencing her with any question or request you may have and literally argues and yells at anyone she is communicating with! I find it very hard to believe this woman, who swears she been doing this for 27 years, is still in business. Its time for her to retire to a remote uninhabited island somewhere or she needs to find another job where there is no communication or understanding necessary.The venue itself needs updating from the inside to the outside to the parking lot. The gazebo looks like it was thrown together at the last minute to accommodate outside weddings but yikes! Its very unkempt and run down with gravel and patches of weeds where grass should be. And its an uneven damaged filthy parking lot as the backdrop. The inside is only passible with your own decore because theirs is from 1980.The food, although tasty was cold because they never lit the sterno and when brought to their attention was not addressed and never rectified.If your wedding is important to you, and whose isnt, dont even consider this place please!!

Not sure where to start with this review other than BEWARE before you book with this venue. We had our wedding there this June 30th. We loved the inside and knew the gazebo would be perfect for our June wedding. When initially looking at the venue and potentially booking, Melissa (the owner and person you have to go through for everything) and another staff member who I believe name was Sherry (only met and saw her twice, not sure what happened to her but she was wayyy nicer and easier to deal with) were the absolute most accommodating and friendly people possible. It made us want to book even more with this venue. After you book, you will receive really HORRIBLE customer service. I worked for a catering company (Taste of Excellence) for a couple years and none of the things that Melissa and her staff members did would have ever flown with them or ANY other company for that matter. She is down right rude. Good luck asking her any questions after booking because she will take days and sometimes a week to answer you back and when she does shes very short and not helpful at all. She makes you feel like YOURE an inconvience though youre paying her thousands of dollars. When I emailed her the final menu of items we wanted a breakdown for before our final booking, she replied three days later very busy, will try to get back to you tomorrow and it was 4 days later I got a reply back. She was rude at our final appointment and kept interrupting and talking over my mom, again someone who is paying thousands of dollars. Not only rude and rushing us, she was extremely rude to the photo booth vendor that was their setting up for that wedding that day too. She got into it with him to the point where they were screaming at each other in front of us, her other customers. She also got into it with our baker who brought our cake as well. We were told in our contract we would have security there, they never showed up. The food was FREEZING cold. Being the bride and groom we got served first and our food was so cold. Breadsticks and prime rib especially. Then they tried to blame it on our preference of the way we wanted the meat cooked when in reality they never turned the burners on underneath the food. (Refused to warm the food up as well.) They have an excuse for literally everything. We asked the bartenders not to give out shots, they did this anyway. Even after my husband and I asked and told them on more than one occasion. Melissawas very argumentative and down right unprofessional every time I or one of my family members had to deal with her. During our rehearsal she literally walked away from my husband in the middle of him asking her a question because she was angry. She proceeded to not come out of the room after 3 times of my husband ringing the door bell. I dont think she realizes this is the reason they probably dont receive tips. At the beginning we planned on tipping about $1000 even though it was full buffet and we had already paid $8000 to the venue. Well, with the way Melissa was and is as a person is the reason the tip dwindled down to zero dollars after all of these events above unfolded in the leading months to the wedding. I usually never ever ever leave bad reviews and dont tip people as Ive worked in service and food service but this place is definitely worth giving people a heads up for what youre going to deal with. Sure the price is okay (though they charge the same amount for a 2 year old as they do an adult) but spend the extra money and go else where and not to have your wedding day ruined by how unprofessional this place truly is.

Rented a place through them for our wedding and the person conducting it didnt come to the venue until 30 minutes before the wedding. Leaves and dirt were in the bathrooms and the woman yelled at the brides mother after the mother questioned why she didnt come sooner!
