From the ambience of the entrance and the efficiency of the check in at the front desk, this hotel is lovely. I have never slept so soundly in a hotel bed. The bed was so comfortable! The room was VERY clean! The bathroom is very stylish and the rain shower head is relaxing. The pool is warm and up on the 4th story so there is a city view. If we needed anything we told the front desk and it was provided. The only thing I had a little problem with is the room has no microwave so we had to go all the way downstairs to warm our food. All in all though we had an awesome time and will definitely use this hotel again.

Pool seemed clean except for one long ladies hair got in my googles. Negative: A man from house cleaning knocked at our door and motioned for us to leave the room for what we expected was to have the room cleaned. we exited the room for an hour and saw the room still wasn¿t cleaned. need drawers for clothes & a long hair in pool

Terrible experience. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary and this hotel ruined the experience. Its disgusting. From cigarette butts all over the pool, dirty hallways that dont get cleaned up, defective equipment in the room and lack of quality service. At the pool the handicap equipment is broken and a danger to use. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to my enemies. The pictures online are not the reality. BE AWARE! Oh yeah no manager on duty to resolve issues. They gave me his email.

The agreement is that they will only clean the rooms after 3 nights stay. Well, I’m on day 5 and STILL NO SERVICE.You call the front desk and they rudest lady in the world responded with, and I quote, “we are completely booked, so apparently they forgot you. Would you care to check out then they will clean the room for the next guest.” Not making one of those words up.To the Staff at the Marriott, in room 709 to verify I was a guest at your establishment!Unbelievable to say the least!Did I mention-DO NOT STAY HERE!

Extremely disappointed. I’m a loyal Marriott customer, but after this hotel misplaced/took my belongings while I was on an excursion, I may never stay with Marriott again. The hotel claims nothing was in my room and cannot locate my belongings, so now I must file a police report. Very upsetting. Will not be back.

The staff is great and the overall hotel is clean.However, guests are just walking around with out masks, eventhough it says that they require masks in all public areas, staff does not enforce any of the rules. Would have been a 5 star hotel if not for that.

I am giving the AC Hotel Miami Aventure1 star for poor customer service by Tracy-Ann C. Regis, Assistant General Manager and Kelvin D. Jiles, Front Office Manager. After bringing to their attention that our room did not have AC (something pretty basic these days and stated under accommodations on their website), they didn’t send Maintance to our room until the following day. The Maintance guy was very nice but could not correct the problem until the third day. When my concerns were brought to Kelvin and Tracy they didn’t do anything to correct this issue for the first two days of my family’s visit.If you are seeking good customer service from management, do not waste your time or money by staying at this hotel.After I contact the corporate office, I hope they can implement better training for their management.

Probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We are Marriott fanatics and love everything Marriott except this hotel. Checked in and front desk employee was rude and acted like he was doing us a favor. We never saw another employee the rest of our stay. Pool didn’t have towels. None of the restaurants, bars or stores were open. Rooms were small and felt like we were in an insane hospital. We will never book this hotel again.

The hotel is okay for the price it is. But the way people work here could be better. I forgot an important item in my room, came back several hours later to pick it up and they held me for more than an hour on the reception trying to figure out where is the key from the lost and found room.I’m a gold member with Marriott and I was very surprised about disorganized staff. They didn’t seem to care and were very slow / wanted me to come back next day when they maybe can have the key. (Wow! I live in another state)

Every hotel should have this!!! The rooms did have a slight certain old people/cat house odor. It wasnt unbearable but if you have a sensitive nose it will be enough to annoy you so bring a candle. Both the rooms I stayed in had a hard surface floor instead of carpet. This is a plus in my book for cleanliness but not very comfortable. A nice touch would be to provide a cheap pair of slippers the guest can take home with them. Friendly front desk staff was very accommodating except for the manager oddly enough. Short black gentlemen was very abrasive.

We checked in last night around 11pm after a long day at work, and were told we had complimentary 2 breakfasts included in our stay; and that the third would have to be paid for. Woke up at 7am to grab a waffle and some coffee only to find out whoever checked us in lied about what was included. Breakfast will cost you a solid $25 for the basics, going up from there. After being passed around to at least 3 employees that wasted my time promising they’d take care of me only to pass me on to the next and wish me luck, I can confidently say this is the LAST time I’ll be staying here; Thanks to the all around rude and inconsiderate staff of AC hotel Miami Aventura.

I only stayed one night on my way up to east coast of Florida. A very clean, modern hotel. Walking distance to Grazianos that has eat in and takeaway. The sandwiches or migos are excellent. There are other good restaurants adjacent to Grazianos.

I usually dont write reviews but with the covid 19 pandemic I felt safe. Very clean! Front desk was pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed my stay.

The first thing we noticed as we walked in was the awesome fragrance, and the clean modern design of the hotel. We were ready to love this AC hotel. But that was the end of the enchantment. While making the line at check-in, the lady in front of me was arguing with the hotel staff about waiting for over 3 hours to check-in and her room was not ready. Sure enough, when it was out turn, there was no room ready for my reservation. I can understand that rooms may not be ready right at the time of check-in, but when the staff tells you that they have NO IDEA when the rooms will be ready, and the lady before me was waiting for over 3 hours, its a little scary. Then I later found out there were 11 other people waiting in the same situation. We got lucky (I think because we were nicer than some of the other 11 people), we only had to wait one hour. The second thing we noticed, they charge for valet parking....but there is not valet....you park yourself. Hmmm?. The third thing, we noticed, there were no towels available anywhere. Our reservation was for 2 adults and 2 kids, we only had two large towels in our room, and there were no small wash towels. We tried asking at the front desk, they had none. We found one of the cleaning ladies and asked her, she had none. Ok, so we shared the two large towels between the four of us. The fourth thing we noticed was the number of loose water bottles, bags, and general trash in the pool area and in the parking garage. The overall hotel seemed clean, except for so much loose trash. This hotel could be great, with a new crew.

Location was great for shopping and dining. The aesthetic of the hotel was nice. Otter grab that by experience was awful. The hotel walls are so thin you can hear everything. I heard a group of women coming and going from 6am until 11pm their Babies constantly crying. I could hear people’s conversation through the walls. Hopefully you check out early in the morning cause come noon maintenance sounds like the FEDS with their walkie talkie knocking on doors being loud as well. Overall this experience has not been relaxing I’ve been mostly on edge the entire time.

The service was excellent beginning with the check-in process. The bartenders were great. I enjoyed the food at the bar and also at breakfast. Location is convenient. Decor is upscale. Fitness center had everything I needed and it overlooked the outdoor pool. Bonus points for the rock climbing holds under the pull-up bars.

European style hotel with a European breakfast, better than average exercise room and exceptionally long pool. Rooms are very comfortable with relaxing rain or handheld shower (can’t do both). The hotel was decent and I enjoyed my stay. However if you are traveling for business and need a folio choose another hotel. Not only did the staff fail to email folio on my departure it is proving difficult to get a folio after. They simply keep sending a list of multiple questions including the exact amount on the folio. There are a lot of nice hotels in the area. I would stay elsewhere.

Everything was great! Beautiful hotel, great service, food was amazing, pool was clean and warm, room was beautiful and clean, LOVED the shower! Booked a king size room, when we arrived, were given 2 queens. Asked for compensation in form of 2 meals (one for each adult) and were told we were “pushing it,” but the request was fulfilled, and everything else was great! Would still book again, loved it! Do yourself a favor and boom here for your vacation needs!

The decor was pleasing, and the room space was very comfortable. I like the design of my room and the colors. It was a great room for couple because of its intimate design. Breakfast was European style. All the employees are very friendly and quick to attend to my needs and questions. I was well taking care of. You get what you pay for.Tania in the front desk was really nice, she was excellent and I cant complaint about her attention.Due to COVID they eliminated the valet parking service, I might disagree with that, but ok, I understand. BUT they still charge you $20 per night. I wish it was the worst, when you are checking in, crazy about to take a shower and go to bed, they provide you with a ticket that you must put in your windshield or you are towed. I couldnt believe that, after my check in I had to walk, take the elevator to the parking lot to place a ticket I HAD PAID FOR. Its unbelievable.The building in general is really nice, good looking but it isnt well maintained, there are stains in the carpet, the shower seems 10 years old and never replaced, it is grey and the holes in the shower are orange.They do not have housekeeping service, due to COVID, when I checked in Tania let me know if I need other towels I just had to request them. On our second night we requested towels they said it was on the way but they never arrived.If you are going to share room make sure you feel comfortable enough with the person youre going to share, there is no privacy at all when you leave the shower. I am not taking this into consideration for my rating because I only went with my wife and it wasnt an issue at all.Honestly I wouldnt comeback because I cant understand how they make you pay just to park in their facility with no other benefit than this, and they even make you go yourself to place the ticket to avoid towing. There are so many ways it can be done and maintain COVID regulations in my opinion they are just lazy and they dont care how the customer feels about it.I give them two stars because it looks like fancy modern, area and location are nice as well.

This is a modern hotel that is very stylish, affordable, and in a good location. The staff is great! I was in Miami for a convention. This was an overflow hotel. I especially like the hydration area, which is the ice machine room on the floor. You can fill up the ice bucket, but theres also the option to get filtered water from the same machine, just as you would on a fancy refrigerator. (A carafe for the water is provided.) I would definitely choose this hotel if I return to Miami. I think it would be great for couples, or those traveling on business. There were a lot of younger professionals staying there when I was in town. Its close to a number of shopping outlets and a grocery store--and theres a shuttle that will take you to those nearby places. Very nice!

The hotel was nice. The room was decent, great shower, and the service was good up until I tried to order room service. I like to have coffee first thing in the morning. When the lady at the front desk told me they didnt offer room service, I came online to write this review. Dont even bother calling yourself a hotel if you dont offer room service.As another person said, the thermostat in your room is capped at 66 degrees. This is unacceptable. We like our room cold and were in Miami. Also, the food at the lobby restaurant is basically dog food.

Decorated like a mental institution.Everything is strung out forcing you to walk half a mile from the parking garage to the elevator that will actually take you to your room.The washers and dryers are $2 and neither are effective. Multiple cycles and clothes still didnt dry.

My wife and I stayed here back in November for a couple of nights and it was great! The hotel staff was awesome and the rooms were clean. The guitar player on Wednesdays is fantastic, great songs and sound and the pool area is just relaxing. We strongly recommend it!

Nice hotel, but if you’re looking for room service, an full service restaurant and bar, this is not that place. You will get a a limited selection of self serve coffee, tea, juice, hot and cold cereal, yogurt and fruit for breakfast between 8-10am and select tapas for dinner. A shot of tequila was $13, $13 for a shot?!?! However the rooms are nice and the lobby is spacious. The pool and workout area is nice and the pool has a bar that’s open from noon-4:00pm. The service was good and everyone was pretty friendly.

Warmly greeted by guest services at the door, and throughout our stay. Beautifully appointed modern European style room. Bed was very comfortable! Room had good coffee, fridge, and thoughtful toiletries. Very nice fully equipped gym facility, and a large warm outdoor pool with comfortable seating around it. Great pool for swimming laps. We had the opportunity to spend this past weekend at your hotel while attending the Ms.Senior Florida Pageant. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. We would like to Thank Jenny from Lobby Bar for her hospitality and making the older generation feel right at home. Jenny most definitely is a people person and should be commended by the management.

This hotel offered everything with elegance style... used laundry with free detergent, enjoyed looking at pool even though didn’t get in, enjoyed bar and it’s ambience, enjoyed breakfast which is different from your bacon and grits, enjoyed taking shuttle to Aventura Mall for free.... room awesome... husband lived square shaped toilet and even getting truck parked... valet was on it.... totally worth money spent...

We took a 7 day trip to Miami for baby booming and mainly to shop for the new family member. We found the hotel because of the convenience location near aventura mall. Hotel was great, room was large and well appointed, everything seemed to be very well maintained and clean but our biggest surprise was the kindness and efficiency of the staff members. I was so impressed with the people at this hotel (even though I work in hospitality and my wife too). I did not have a lot of expectations because I the price I paid was relatively low and I new the main reason we chose the hotel was for the location but actually the staff made a big impact and we ended up loving our stay thanks to them.big thanks to the reception team , valet, drivers and housekeeping.

Booked to stay for a week. However given the corona virus it was really clear the hotel would close. The decision was made on the 17th and reported in the media. The hotel put a note under the door no apology just that they were closing. Turns out if we hadnt already had the foresight to book a flight to go on the 18th we would have been stuck. The hotel would not have assisted with anything.I am appalled by their cavalier and impersonal attitude. I can however not praise the individual staff enough. They were wonderful. Management leave a lot to be desired.

Sleek, modern design hotel. Rooms were very clean and beds were super comfy. Continuing with the modern design, the hotel carry’s an energy efficiency electricity system that supplies rooms with a “master” shutoff of power while you aren’t within the room. Take care of housekeeping and they’ll take care of you. Finally, friendly and hassle free check-in process. Overall a great hotel to stay in, highly recommend. Ps. A Starbucks is coming soon across the street, bonus for coffee addicts.

Overall, our stay was excellent. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the decor very up to date and stylish. the staff was extremely friendly and courteous, and especially helpful with directions and dinner suggestions. The only negative was the breakfast area. There was not enough food and as soon as food arrived, other guests took more than they should have ad left others with nothing.

I am pleasantly surprised with the AC Aventura hotel. Their lobby is clean, modern and has great areas for work meetings. The room has everything I needed to sleep and work, plus offered a sitting area too. Parking was easy and fast. The service is truly what stood out. I requested my phone charger from my car, and without hesitation, they brought it up within minutes. Never this smooth in other hotels.

We used the Marriott app to find a hotel in the area we were in. This was a last minute unplanned stay and we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the lobby of the hotel. So clean and sleek! Loved the minimalist but welcoming style. The staff was accommodating when we arrived late and requested a later checkout. The room matched the lobby in style and cleanliness. Bed was comfortable, and everything we needed was available. Liked the layout of the room. We took advantage of the pool, good size, good location, water temperature was just right for us. The gym is well equipped, loved the rowing machine (I am looking to get one for my home). Although our stay was just one night, it was a very pleasant and comfortable one. I have to admit after we left to continue on our journey, I started a search to see where else AC Hotels are located. As a Marriott Club Member I very much appreciate the addition of quality hotels such as this one.

Nice clean hotel located in the great Aventura area. We checked in on a late Sunday me and my wife and greeted by a very Friendly valet team. Felissa from valet made us feel very welcomed in the property. Check in was very fast despite a long line as a group of flight attendants were checking in as well. The front desk lady was awesome. I dont remember her name by she is the the Asian girl. The pool was great, room service as well. Valet service was good and never had to wait for my car during the 4 days stayed in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was fine but very limited.I will definitely stay there in the future.

Rooms were very modern and clean. Shower amenities smelled amazing. Ability to stream on the TV a bonus. No room service or restaurant. Bar had some appetizers, but they were not good, seemed like they had been brought in pre-cooked.

I recommend it especially for business . It’s a quiet hotel with very comfortable beds, clean. Great gym and friendly staff. 5 min to the mall and across the street from many great restaurants.

The staff was very friendly! The rooms were very clean and modern. I loved that they did NOT have carpet in the rooms. It made them feel more clean and fresh. The only two negatives about the room was there was no clock and no dresser. There is a bench to put your suit case on or lay your clothes out. Both negatives were not a big deal for us.I can not comment about the room service since we did not use it. We did not eat at the hotel either because there were cheaper and better options locally. We did not drive there but if you do, the valet charges $25 per day.They have free shuttles to local attractions, like the mall. This was great and easy to use. I think the area is really nice as there is food and shopping near by.I would recommend this hotel to friends and family!
