I have never been treated as poorly as I was this Saturday, September 18. I always book my appointment with Shykerea (She is amazing, kind and truly a professional!). I have recommended many friends and family members to this place and with Shykerea! This time I arrived to my appointment & was escorted to one of the rooms by a different girl. At first I thought I accidentally had booked with someone else & didn’t want to cause a fuss. I was already uncomfortable getting undressed in front of another specialist which is why I ALWAYS book with the same one but anyway, she was so aggressive, every strip was painful. When I told her I had never experienced such pain, she said “well you’re long overdue”. The hair was the exact same length as last time I went and I did not experience pain at ALL!! Her comment was so unnecessary and shameful. When she was done I asked if she could provide me with something to help with the pain (as Shykerea always goes above and beyond) but she said she had already applied what needed to be applied. I was trying to check in the mirror because the surface did not feel smooth but she rushed me out of the room! When I asked the receptionist who I had booked with she said “Shykerea” but she wasn’t in because she was sick and I completely understand. People get sick but a courtesy call would’ve saved me the awful experience! The receptionist said “We tried to call all of the guest who had booked with her but we might’ve missed you” Which is ridiculous! I would’ve waited until she got back! It’s Monday now and not am I only bruised but there’s still hairs. If I wanted to get my privates beat up and done poorly, I would’ve done it myself. This experience makes me feel as if they don’t truly understand customer care/service and all they’re after is your money!

My first experience with waxer Olga was terrible she was incredibly rude and educated me that she kids as young as 11 and 12 coming in for waxing and they never complain. Also, that I should stop watching so many youtube videos and was apparently being too dramatic. It was a very belittling experience. I gave ewc a second chance and this time I got Somalia she was AMAZING!!!! So comforting, understanding, and very gentle. The second wax was a complete 360. I purchased the wax pass and look forward to my appointment next month.

OMG, I just had to leave a review! I love this wax center! Waxing changed my life lol but this European wax center in Aventura is AMAZING! The ladies here, especially Vanessa the manager they’re professional, welcoming, super clean, and you feel instantly at home! I’ve always had excellent experiences here but if there ever was a hiccup, the staff here are super attentive and aim to be sure your experience is as SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE, pun intended! Terrible customer service person who booked my appointment was same as one to check me in, waited till it was 6 minutes in to cancel half of my appointment even though there is a 9 min policy. Booked underarm full legs and Brazilian and she said only time for Brazilian and underarms because of 5 min delay. I therefore cancelled my entire appointment because the lack of courtesy and attitude makes a difference to my experience and I will take my business elsewhere. This would have been almost a $200 cost and I prefer to take my business elsewhere. This is not criticism of product or all European Wax Centres, as I have been an avid customer for years and endorse products and most services but this attitude ruin my experience. I understand being late 5 min is on me, but bad attitude is not on me and is absolutely unnecessary.

Shykeera, is amazing she is attentive and though it hurts to wax she keeps the conversation and laughs going to keep your mind away from focusing on the pain! Shes the best!!

Service is usually good😊 my issue is everytime I come, on time to my scheduled apt. I Spears have to wait at least 10-15 minutes because the service provider is never ready. Other clients will walk in right before me or right after and will be seen right away. I have never come to this location and been seen on time. This is why I rated them 3 stars.

I’ve waxed with EWC for years and I’ve had a lot of good waxers, but today I waxed with by far the BEST WAX SPECIALIST EVER. Her name is MONIQUE! She takes her time. COMPLETELY PAIN-FREE. I came in with Anxiety but after I waxed with her I felt humiliated because she was that AWESOME. Please get your BRAZILIAN DONE WITH HER. She not only removes the hair but she exfoliates the skin! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH HER WORK. She definitely has a client for a lifetime. If you can’t wax with Monique, Go To SHYKEREA SHES WONDERFUL AS WELL.

I’ve been going for officially over a year now. I moved from NJ and was extremely hesitant. I’ve only gone to Shikiria. Sorry if I spell her name wrong but she’s the best and literally takes great care of you by making sure every piece of hair is gone lol I literally go every 5-6 weeks cause it takes so long to grow back

Ive been going to different locations of EWC over the past 12 years and I must say, this location is my favorite. It is always super clean, the staff is very attentive and most important, Keane does a fabulous job of turning my scraggly eyebrows into something I am proud of (especially now that we have to wear masks all the time and all people can see are your eyes/brows!). I live in Miami Beach and I am happy to make the drive to Aventura in order to get my eyebrows done by her.

Having gone to ewc for over a decade, this is the first time i am openly unhappy with the person i saw and the manager at the aventura location. i went in for half a face wax and brazilian. the chick i got was more interested in upselling me (her questions were vague but obviously meant for upcharging) than schooling me on her understanding of the type of brazilian i wanted. not only that BUT WHEN I GOT HOME I HAD GLOBS OF WAX ON MY PRIVATE AREA!!! i have neeevvvveerrrr experienced that!!i had to go back the next day. olga, the woman i got the next day, was amazing!! she answered my questions and knew exactly what happened and what went wrong but she also saw spots that were not done right. also she has a bright energy about her.then when i asked if i could give olga part of the tip given to the previous chick the day before, the manager told me that wasnt possible with some bs excuse about new corporate system procedures and that if they mess up the gratuity in their system they have no way of fixing it. the thing is, i used to be a manager in the service industry so i know the things we say to keep money on peoples paychecks. totally placating on my nerves. i had no time to debate with her lies, just put on my cute little smile and say sure, that other chick got lucky cause she totally didnt deserve the tip i left. the manager totally felt like she had her high hat on, shes just lucky i had a flight to catch.

Great packages! Specially if you buy more than 9 sessions! Always fast but not painful. I am so used to teir homemade wax.. I no pain! Been going to them for 5 years already. :)

I European Wax is one of the most professional places I have ever been to the girls are all quick fast efficient and dont hurt you very important in a bikini wax. I dont belong to the programs where you can get waxing for less money and free but I do know when I call theres always a time for me and I can go right in exceptionally good at there at their expertise hi. Ive been going to them since they open in Aventura owner is Josh and family. Its always clean and sparkling in theres their Studio I heartily recommend them

Know that no matter what time you make your appointment, you will always be waiting at least 10 minutes. The staff is kind, but the scheduling is never correct. I have an annual pass and its convenient, and thats the only reason I stay. I have a pass, yet every single time they try to sell me on something else (more services or products) - have I not spent enough? Let me be!

Every European Wax center Ive ever been to is super clean and everyone is very professional. This location is in a beautiful plaza. Ive never had a hard time getting an appointment scheduled when I want one.

Customer service is great, since you walk in people are very nice, super good at product knowledge but the black wax, I dont know if its me but it doesnt last long, the amount of hair that grows usually is not the same when I go to my Vietnamese fave place. I pay way less($8 for brows and $6 for upper lip) and here I pay ($32 for both) for me is a big difference. I dont mean to pay less but give me quality, no quantity(hair in grows and all over). Usually a wax with them lasts a week, in comparison with the other place I go it last 2 1/2 weeks.

I have a 10 months old baby so i’m very time limited. Got to the place to get a quick wax without an appointment. The told me that i’ll have to wait for two hours. Seriously??

So I booked an appointment due to the fact that it was the weekend, and I even confirmed the day before. I Showed up with 11 minutes of delay, (I was looking for a parking spot close to the entrance because was raining) they told me that they have 9 minutes of waiting policy... and they could not honor my appointment. I thought they were joking, but eventually was not a joke, I did not even argue I turned and left. The famous 9 minutes... everybody has to buy a chronometer before go to these folks! Keep up the good work!

The worst customer service. If you are not White Privilege you get treat like scum, even with a reservation. Will not spend money were im simply not welcomed.

On 3/10/17 I went for a Wax service for a full bikini removal at the location 18723 Biscayne Blvd Aventura, 33180. There was an incident that took place from the wax procedure that resulted in about 3-4 layers of my skin removed from the right side of my private area. I made a incident report at the location and requested that the corporate office contact me. I waited until 3/15 after getting no response from the company I went back to the location and spoke to a manager by the name of Jennifer she took my information all over again and said there was nothing she can do at her level but she will have corporate office give me a call. It took them 2 more days to contact me which was on 3/17. I have been a loyal customer to this business at this specific location for over a decade and they never even attempted to compensate me with anything. I requested back for a refund of all my wax pass that I currently had on file (27) because It was such traumatic experience I knew I would not be going back there anytime soon or ever at all. Not only Im I dealing with my injury I had to do a dr visit because the wound got infected which resulted in me spending unnecessary money. My anger about the entire thing is I was the one injured and instead of them just giving me back all my money they told me there was a cancellation fee so they took $25 dollars from the money I paid $450)Im very dissatisfied about the entire thing . All the money I have spent with them it shows they do not value their customers. They never even tried to make it up to me to keep me as a customer. As of today 3/25 Im still not heal from my wound. I just want this issue resolve so I can move on.

This was my first time ever trying european wax center. The waxer was very friendly but she was being very rough even before she started the waxing she wiped my brows but was using too much pressure. I didnt say anything and let her continue to wax me. She did a good job shaping my brows. When I left I felt sore but just brushed it off to the wax or maybe her being rough. The next day I had a big event and woke up with the skin under my brows red, swollen and completely scabbed over. I should of spoken up so I take blame but I will not be going back! Thank God it was my brows and not my vagina!! I will stick to going to benefit brow bar in macys or ulta!

I have been coming to EWC for 6 years. Started in Coral gables now in Aventura. Only had a waxer I did not like one time. For New comers doing eyebrows I suggest trying different people until you find the o e you like best. Everyone has different ideas of good eyebrows. But everyone has been good.

I have been coming to this place for about a year and in that time frame i have had 6 waxers most of them have been good but my last waxer was great she i had her for 5 months and she was expecting.she did a great job and i know she did not leave voulentarialy. as described by the other associates they get harrased and fired for no reasons some time. here is a tip for European wax center keep your employees and treat them right if they are having a hard time help this turn over has been very hard on your customers and very inconvenient i will now be going some where else in fear of losing the next six.

Worst experience at this location in the 10+ years as a member. My wife waited 45 minutes in the waiting area. The therapist burned her with the wax and overall made her feel very uncomfortable. Again, this is an isolated incident as she has been a member for many years.

If they come from South America they will be shocked when they know that for a Brazilian wax (bikini) with tip / tip included you pay as $ 80 (yes dollars). Yes, just that area.
