I absolutely love Hot Nail!! Not only do they have great prices, but they also have amazing staff who actually care for their customers. I have tried out a few nail salons in Austin and this is by far the best one I have been too. Hot Nail, you have a customer for life. Thank you for always taking me in last minute and doing an excellent job. If you are ever in the area, I definitely recommend coming here!

I recently had a mani, pedi here. The man did my pedi and did a great job. However. I had a different experience with my nails. The first thing I noticed was that they looked a bit lumpy, but I didnt pay no mind because I know they would work on that later. Once she started to file my nails and shape them more, she was extremely rough with no regard to my real nails. I felt like she was going to tear my real nails off when she was filing the sides. I didnt say anything because she already looked annoyed. (I was the only customer in the shop). As you can see in the pictures. The nails are poorly shaped. I can barely use my phone because the nails are so curved. I have to use the middle of my finger to type. To top it off there are bubbles in the polish and some nails are lumpy. I was really hoping to find my forever nail shop here. Ill keep looking.

Yesterday my sis got me a gift card to get my nails done, and when I came in today everyone was really friendly and did an AMAZING JOB!! I am super happy with the results of my gel nails and eyebrow waxing! If you ever get a chance pop in that place! Wonderful service! Im not going anywhere else from now on 😊☺️🥰

They do a good job and I appreciate them

Have been going to see them since November. I was so happy I referred my friends. Unfortunately the more I visited I realized things are not sanitary. Instruments are not cleaned prior to use and they eat and drink while doing your nails. The past 2 weeks after my last fill my nails became sore and achy. Then last night One of my nails popped off and I noticed that the nail bed was green. I then proceeded to remove all the nails and the majority of the nails had bacteria. Apparently this is caused by not properly sanitizing instruments, hands, and nail beds. This can also be caused if the nail is not adhered to the nailbed correctly thus allowing moisture and bacteria in. I called hot nails and let them know what was going on and they basically said I could come in and get a new set. I told him there was no way in hell I would ever go to their shop again and it was unfortunate that this is the way they were choosing to handle my concerns. Needless to say I will never go to this establishment again.

My artist was very friendly her station was tidy. She did exactly what i asked for and my nails look amazing. 💅

I discovered this place way too late. I’ve bounced around salons trying to find the perfect place. I didn’t think I’d find it a block away from my boyfriend’s house. I’ve been twice so far and had AMAZING SERVICE both times.Don’t pay attention to the old reviews. It’s clean, the people are kind and talented... the only downside is they’re so good that there sometimes so busy, a walk-in appointment may be hard to make work if you have stuff to do. But a busy business is a sign they’re doing something right.Also DIP NAILS. It’s worth the splurge if you can. I’m not a fan of gel (I pick it off in like two days) and always just used regular polish. But I heard good things so I decided to try it. OH MY GOD ITS INCREDIBLE. So shiny and durable! If you wanna treat yo self... 10/10 would recommend. I’m surprised other salons don’t push it more.I’d give 18473920 stars if I could. Just make sure to carve out some time just in case. It’s worth it.

I always have a WONDERFUL time @HOT NAILS. The service is FANTASTIC you never have to WAIT long. If they SAY 10mins thats how long it will take. Keep UP the GOOD work.

Not impressed plus they are wayyy to expensive. I got a full set at the place around the corner for $30 and hot nails charged me $33 for a FILL. They dont look near as good as the other place and not to mention I had to sit there for a good 15 minutes getting bit non stop by mesquitos. Oh and he also filed my nail down to the nail bed. DO NOT go here.

Very patient. But then again, they had no customers waiting. Prices the same as everyone else. Nails looked fine, but 3 acrylic dip nails popped off within 10 days; therefore it was a waste of money because the full set barely lasted a week.

I wish giving no stars was an option. I am currently sitting in their parking lot, fuming from one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had... I decided to try a new place closer to home and I saw this place had good reviews. First impression when I walked in? Completely filthy. Absolutely disgusting. In retrospect, this was a perfect indicator of how my visit would be, but their prices were good so I figured Id give it a chance. The woman proceeds to take about 15 minutes to soak my gel manicure off. I politely asked her why so long, she explained to me that it was easier to take off that way. I saw her point and explained that I had never seen it done that way but that I saw her point. She then trimmed one of my nails way too short to the point where it was on the verge of painful. I, still being understanding, made no complaint and just asked her to straighten it out as best she could. I showed her a picture of nail art featuring small hearts. She said she could do it and then proceeded to unskillfully blob on to my nails, shapes that looked nothing like hearts. They were not good. She asked if I liked them.. Id never seen anything like that in a nail salon. I did not want to be rude (Im in the service industry and I always try to be kind) & I felt uncomfortable but as politely as possible I asked if she could take it off and just do plain pink nails because I didnt like it and it didnt look like hearts. She complies. She finishes that up and there is a big, noticeable bubble in one of my nails.. Probably nail debris b/c all their tools are covered in filth. Im pretty frustrated at this point but I honestly feel bad for her and just want to get out of there but I dont want to pay hard earned money for something that looks way worse than LITERALLY any manicure Ive ever purchased. I politely ask her if she can fix it. She says she can and... Heres the kicker.. As she is repairing the damage she did, she has the audacity to start telling me that she knows what she is doing and that I dont have to be judgemental and act like she doesnt know what shes doing. She berated me for questioning her about the time it takes to take gel polish off. I , in shock, tried to reason with her and ask what she was talking about, that I said nothing rude and she says You dont have to say anything, its your vibe. :o... My vibe. I maybe could have taken the scolding if she had done a good job but she did such a poor job it made the whole thing even more ridiculous. I was so uncomfortable with the situation I said I was leaving to go get it fixed elsewhere and she insisted I pay for this butcher job. She was so wildly inappropriate even her coworker kept telling her to be quiet. This is literally unlike anything Ive ever experienced in a customer setting. By far my worst experience in a nail salon. STAY AWAY FROM HOT NAILS.
