Made an appointment for acrylics. In and out in 30 min!

Shop owner Phan is THE best manicurist in town, who has a pretty and super clean nail salon, with affordable prices and excellent services and product. The pedicure I got from Brown is also of the highest quality (cutting, shaping, cuticles, scrubbing,etc.). Far beyond other places that rush through a paint job and so-so rub. The shop has fantastic music and a silent big screen with top-flight subtitled movies. Also love the location..theres a lot of bang for the buck at Balcones Nails.

0 Stars. The owner is very dismissive and cold. She acted as if I was a bother to her, meanwhile, another client with a mask covering her chin, (no one asked her to wear her mask correctly) requested that the polish be changed on her left hand 2 times, and I was only there for 20 minutes. The employee helping that client seemed unbothered. The services were overpriced prior to COVID and during COVID the prices have been raised. This is not my regular nail salon, but, in a pinch I would come in. I will NEVER return. EVER.

Friendly staff, good at what they do. I had a manicure and pedicure done simultaneously. I felt like I was a princess being pampered. It was only $45 for both. I even messed up 4 of my nails as I was getting into my car afterwards. They redid all 4 of then at no extra charge. Great service

The Service was really good The only thing happened to my someone take a 100 bill from my money I have cash when I go to the room for eyelashes extension I put my money In a table i have my eyes close all the time When I arrived at my house I realized now they do not answer the phone I can not believe that they were this and Im sure it was them because someone else would take everything not only 100

My new favorite place. Van is the best!! She takes her time and gives the best pedicure Ive ever had. Clean and relaxing environment.

I went to this salon for the first time for a manicure & pedicure. The pedicure was fine, but the manicure was awful. The technician didnt appear to be versed in the application of SNS. I was left with thick, wavy looking nails and with hard coats of gel on my cuticles and skin. Im really disappointed and will not be a repeat customer.

They butchered my cuticles. I don’t know what she did but my nails have never looked so bad! I also paid more than what most salons charge. Apparently they charge extra to remove your previous gel manicure!?

Best nail salon ive been to. The establishment os beautifully decorated, and Charlie did a wonderful job perfect the dragon nails I wanted. I would post a picture if i could! Go visit these nice people.

Artistic Nails is amazing! As a professional in the beauty industry I hold establishments to a high standard. I know what the rules and regulations are for cleanliness and sanitation and I have seen several salons break them. In the almost two years I have been coming to Phan for my biweekly appointments I have always seen an impeccable shop. Not only is this place clean but after trying several locations in Austin and elsewhere there is no one else I would trust to do my acrylics. They always look incredibly natural. They are thin enough so I can continue working with my hands without being impeded. They are always beautiful and whenever I tell someone my nails are acrylic they dont believe it! Thank you Phan for doing such a fabulous consistent job all of this time. My nails have never looked and felt so good:)

New Staff. The amount of rigor that it takes to loofa off the rough skin is such that I will pay for a person to do the work. However, the expectation is that the rigor will happen. It did not. The place was not busy on a Saturday morning at 10 am. When we asked where Phan, KC or Nancy was on a Saturday everyone said Phan took a day off and everyone else no longer worked here. Beware. This may be fine eventually but for 40.00 I want my toenails to be spectacular and the experience to be at least slightly enjoyable.

This place just kind of sucks. The manager can be rude and dismissive, the tech’s aren’t awesome by any stretch of the imagination, and it is near impossible to communicate your request if it’s anything more complicated than the simplest of items.

I had the worse experience ever. First: I walk in and the ladies that work there stare at me for 30 seconds before asking me what I needed done. Second: I was told I need to wait 40 minutes,when there was only one client in the salon and 3 ladies sitting there doing nothing,other than gossiping( I wish could attach a video) Never coming back.

She was half there. She got my shoes all wet. I asked for her to really get my calouses for my pedicure and she barely scratched the surface so to speak. Very docile. I guess if youre looking for something calming and a pedicure while your meditating this would be your place. I also caught her just drifting off, like she was on auto pilot. I had to ask if she was okay to get her to focus again.The place was decorated nicely- bamboo and the ceiling has these cool pictures over the florecent lights. However, all the linens were old and looked like rags, with stains. Not sure how clean the tools were since they werent in a sealed package. She brought out a caddy with all the tools. They looked very used. All the pedicure techs looked like they didnt enjoy being there. No TV either just the radio. Had to sit through radio ads.Needless to say I will not recomend this place or return.
