Oh my goodness if I could leave 0 stars I would. Was expecting a pkg to be delivered by Friday by end of day is what I read. So I was out running errands and I got a msg update that they could not leave it at the door because it needed a signature even tho I elected for a no-contact delivery. While I am out running errands I go ahead and elect for another delivery day when I would be home. I wake up the next morning 7/31 @ 7:30AM and check the tracking it says the package was delivered at 21:45 that is 9:45 pm at night! I was confused so I contacted my husband to see if there was a pkg outside when he left for work he said no. I walk around the buildings at my apt complex b/c they took a picture of where they dropped it off at. I live on the 3rd floor the pkg was left on a ground floor apt. Anyway, I walk around my complex and finally I get in my car and drive to the other side. Low and behold there is my pkg on someone elses front door. They didnt take a picture of the number above the door on purpose. My apt is 1011 they dropped it off @ 404 how do you mess that up! I hope and pray none of my future packages will ever be delivered by this company! Verify before you buy something what the company uses to ship packages.

I have had packages delivered to my location from the same company via DHL and never had an issue. Now as of 2 days ago the package is showing undeliverable due to address. Went online verified address and spoke with someone and verified it and now am being told not sure when its going to be delivered because they dont see where it was loaded with the driver and also told that they cannot contact the local carrier due to them not having a way to do so. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. You all have got to do better.

Ordered a package and it never arrived. I called corporate since thats the only number on Google and they gave a bunch of excuses why it wasnt delivered then said we can go pick it up at the Austin location since thats where it is currently at. I drove into Austin and they first claim the package was never there, then changed and said it was there but not since last month. Then they claim no one at that location talked to me because I spoke to corporate only and corporate does not have the same information as them. A second girl came out and said she remembers talking to someone about this package. Then a guy came out and said that girl doesnt know what she is talking about and that we only spoke to corporate. The man called the carrier and said the carrier doesnt remember that package and it might not have been scammed by them because the carrier doesnt fully know how to use their scanner. So corporate doesnt have the same information as specific locations but we arent allowed to have the phone number to locations only to corporate. I called the corporate number to file a claim and they are saying they cant do claims they need to open an investigation which consists of just calling that location and asking about the package. I was then told if the Austin location doesnt know where the package is ill nd need to call the carrier to make a claim because lost packages are not DHLs problem. DHL is unorganized and useless.

Paid customs on a business package 10 days ago, which guarantees package will be delivered next day. It has not been delivered. Called midweek and was guaranteed it would be delivered yesterday. No delivery. All customer service lines are closed on the weekends and now our customers orders are past due because of DHL.

This is the worst company ever- they lost my school sensitive document and didn’t get it back and affected my grad school admissions! They don’t have professional staff and didn’t resolve the issue.AVOID using DHL. There has to be a legal way to make them accountable!

They have no communication with their customer service number/system. Tracking showed on hold at this Austin location for the last three weeks and was never delivered to me despite being told 5 times over 5 calls with customer service it was on its way.Upon visiting, they were unable to find the package and were pretty clueless about where it might be, why it was on hold, what could be done to locate it.

Update 2 I finally received my package many days after the first update. Finally received a call after I called 10 timesUPDATE: Still no package. My delivery date was July 14th Ive called customer service 4 times after No PKG. I was told the Drivers overloaded and had been for several days. This is different from the other Reps who said deliver by 9:00pm each time I calledLast call the rep called the actual Austin station and spoke with a supervisor. I was told my delivery is now considering priority and the driver will call me in 15 mins to tell me the exact time they will deliver my package last night. No call. No package. Expected delivery date the next business day. The customer service rep on my last call went above and beyond and through no fault of his own. I still didnt have my package. If you notice on these negative posts there is never a comment from DHL addressing all these issues.This is the 2nd time Ive had to call customer service about 2 separate packages. When my package arrives in Austin I receive a text message and an email that said out with Courier. I also call the automated system and it said my package is out with the courier and will be delivered by 9pm. I decided to speak with an actual customer service Rep and was advised my package will be delivered tomorrow between 2:45pm and 5:00P.m. They managed to lose a package in the same city I live in. Was put on one truck, taken off, put in a pile at random that apparently all went to a single location. Took them a week to figure this out when I knew something was off as soon as it missed its delivery window. First given excuses that it was being inspected then that it would take 24 hours to survey the warehouse. It took the gentleman supposedly less than half an hour to do so.

If it was possible to give zero stars I will have done it. It was worst experience and I am currently still having a shipping issues. I tried to ship a package internationally and after one weeks I never got any update. I tried to contact the office but they were not helpful at all. The customer service is not professional at all. I wish I could give 0 stars. Please save some time and money by not using DHL Service. Absolutely horrible experience. No one even attempted to deliver the package, But the response was We tried to deliver but no one was at home. This happened two successive days. I have been home waiting for the package and No one even attempted to deliver but then the message says No one was at home. DHL tries to make people come to their office to pick their packages. DO NOT use this service. It will only leave you with regrets.

Day 3 in trying to track down our delivery that went to the wrong location. Driver took a picture of a wooden door at another address called it delivered. Our door is mostly glass and sent you all a picture of it as well as talked to reps about it. Then got an email saying it was delivered correctly. WHAT? Time spent on the phone 5 hrs so far. Not a soul has called us back even after saying they would call us back on day one in 2 hrs. Not even day 2. Nope not even day 3 other than an email telling us it was delivered. No joke it was delivered to the wrong address. Customer Service seems to be there to divert and deflect responsibility and waste time so the customer wants to give up. Cant even get ahold of a supervisor when requesting one. Everything goes to a line where no one picks up for hrs.

Ordered some flags from Amazon from a so called American Company, who obviously out sources to China. Package was shipped on May 6, 2021 from China, arrived in Austin on May 10 and have been lost ever since. Still no true answer in where this package is.

I tried to coordinate the delivery by leaving instructions, but my address lines came smushed together, making the package undeliverable, then it was sent on the wrong route. The phone line says we tried to deliver, but no one was there to accept the shipment even though I had also waived the signature. So then I try updating to my correct address, even talk to a rep and she says my address information is all correct-- but the app still says address information is needed. At this point I also learned you cant waive the signature if there is a pending address change, which makes no sense.I ended up picking it up from the depot a week after the planned delivery date. A month later, the merchant invoices me $12 for the address change. The wrong address was on them, but getting things fixed was such a nightmare Id give DHL a negative star if I could.

Anyone considering sending a package should look at all the 1 star reviews here for DHL. My simple letter was in Austin for a whole week. Tracking everyday said On Truck out for Delivery then at end of day said Shipment on Hold.Call to complain and theyd say we are busy due to Covid. Fine. Now youd think the next day the shipment would be given priority to deliver first. Nope. Then Id get lied to if I ever got through to an actual human.This went on for a WHOLE WEEK.Funny how past year of covid this has never happened with UPS FedeX USPS. Choose wisely. Poor service. Ordered merchandise on 02/09/2021, merchant advised was shipped via DHL on 02/10/2021, still waiting for delivery on 03/01/2021. Contacted DHL customer service, DHL advised to contact merchant. Merchant then advised contact DHL, HUH??? Big runaround... If you can avoid DHL, do it!! Meanwhile, I am out $$ & merchandise.

I would give 0 star if I could. Very bad customer service for DHL as a whole . They lose peoples parcels. Their courriers are very distracted and drop parcels at wrong locations . My package was delivered at an incorrect location , they told me the courrier was going to try to recover it and that they will update me. Somebody named Reno sent me an update message only once, the other times I was the one reaching out and asking for updates. The guy even did 3 business days without updating me regarding my package. After 2 weeks of me calling everyday and spending almost 2 hours on the phone to have somebody to talk to, they now tell me that the courrier was unable to recover my package. Im very disappointed with this service. Avoid them if you can. FedEx might definitely be better. And a note to DHL , we put our numbers for a reason , so if you guys are having issue finding someones house/apt why dont you call the person and ask for directions? Why do you guys just drop off peoples stuff wherever yall want ? Disappointed . My vendor is also disappointed and said will never use DHL again . Keep it up, This is how you lose customers and your business.

Absolutely Appalling customer service! My package had been riding around with the carrier since January 27, 2021. I was promised it would be delivered by the end of day on Friday January 28 by 4 different customer service representatives! I waited home all day and night. Guess what? No package! Then, I find out DHL has no weekend delivery in the USA. I changed my delivery to pick up at a Local location because the driver is too incompetent to get it to me. Come tomorrow, they better have my package there at the location!

Great customer service.. there is a fundamental problem with this courier service! There is no definitive answer or straight answer to status. Out for delivery doesnt mean you will get your package today! If you call the customer service, they will give vague answers... Didnt see, such a lethargic and laid back courier service...Now, coming back to the office at this distribution center: theres no phone number to reach them and they have no idea about the status... If you can avoid sending courier through this company you would save your self lots of headache

To fill you in and make a story as short as possible. I ordered something from a merchant in Sweden, Then the merchant used DHL. My packaged was shown to have arrived at this facility On Wednesday 3/31 around 3 P.M. I then received a text showing that my packaged should be delivered by end of the day 4/1 (if this was a joke, Im not laughing), I waited and kept checking when I was able, I knew I allowed for it to be delivered contactless and without needing to be signed for (just in case I needed to run somewhere). well the package never did show and I was ok with this as sometimes things can happen, But never the less on the next day 4/2, I waited again and checked as I had received another Text saying that I shall receive by the end of the day. well much like the pior day, Nothing showed up. But now it is showing no estimate date aside from the 4/1 day still and the message on the site showing Scheduled for delivery as agreed. It is now Saturday 4/3 and I have not received any text or updates and its currently 2:07 P.M. and I have messaged support over the matter, But now I see that they are showing to not be open on Saturday, What am I supposed to do now? Just wait and pray that my package magically appears to my home??? If I knew the hassle that would be for My package to be delivered, when it got to Austin, TX. I would have cleared some time out and just made the drive myself. Now I await and Will check with anyone I buy from and if they use DHL, they just lost my business, Its one thing for this to happen ONCE, But this is the second time and has been a minute since I last dealt with it, Luckily last time was just a couple days late, But did show up, This time has sealed the deal as that was a year ago and shown that they have not changed, I did not write a review in regards to the first time as that can be hit or miss. This time was just the true colors of DHL. I do not try to blame the whole company, As they are big and busy. Never the less again, They need to keep in mind that these little parts, can have a big impact. Especially If they deliver to a wide area of people. Ordered from Amazon Japan. 12 of the 18 items in my order made it to me but for some reason DHL “repacked” the box and the other six items disappeared. After weeks of waiting, they still have no idea where they are or if they will ever be delivered. They were large but expensive items so it’s especially suspicious that they are permanently missing. I would never choose DHL and it’s unfortunate that Amazon uses them so often.

I had a shipment coming from China, I paid $700 to have it delivered to my front door, it showed out for delivery on Thursday, Friday came and parcel still was out for delivery, we called and asked what was going on, basically the delivery driver didn’t want to deliver it and left it on the warehouse so we had to drive 40 min to get our shipment all because of a lazy employee, if it wasn’t because we were calling every few hours to ask about where our parcel was, they wouldn’t have had the courtesy to let us know the driver won’t deliver it and that we would have to pick it up, maybe next time remind your employees that we pay a lot of money for them to do their job.

Package was delayed several days and the tracking information kept saying it was being “delivered today” and it wouldn’t show up. We finally got a notification that it was delivered but it wasn’t actually delivered. We called to figure out what happened so we can try to get our package but they lady on the phone basically did nothing and told us there was nothing she could do.

I shipped 2 footlockers from Afghanistan to Georgetown, and it took them about a week. Not only did they get it to my house undamaged, on time, and for a fair price in my opinion, but they let me add a note about where to drop it off at the house and they put it exactly where it needed to go so my wife could just slide them in the garage since they were extremely heavy.If I had a choice, I would NEVER use USPS ever again and use these guys, because they are reliable, and maybe a little more than the postal service... there is no amount of money the horribly run disaster of government misappropriated tax dollar dumpsterfire that the post office is could ever give me back to compensate for the lost mail, headaches at the offices dealing with the disgruntled and angry employees who hate their customers... anyways, I could go on but you get the point.DHL > USPS.

It is located near the austin Airport, I had to drive more than 45 mins. I was returning an item from Italy with free return label. I packed and taped every corner and was ready to drop it off.However, at this location, they reopened my item, inspected and cheked the invoice. Omg! And it took forever( 20 mins) !! They even asked for my ID.I thought it was too much hassle to go through this. I will use Fedex which use simpler process.This place was super understaffed!

DHL is the most unreliable delivery company I ever had. I placed a order back on July the 27th with Hair ViVi and they confirmed my order and gave me my tracking number. I set up everything with DHL and they confirmed my order would be delivered August 6, 2020. No package August 6, 2020. Instead on August 7, 2020 I get a neighbor package with my street number but different STREET NAME. So clearly they don’t read the name of the street they just go off of numbers. So took the package to the correct address no one was home left it at the front door. Call DHL and let the know hey all send the wrong package to my house and I told the customer service representative that took my call everything that happened. Sue stated yes I see where they made the mistake. Let me put in a ticket and have the driver call you. The driver never called. I have spoke to 6 people about this issue and nothing has been done.All they keep saying is yes we see what happened and we are looking into it. (Apparently NOT) I want my money back now. I pray for anyone that has to use DHL as their delivery service because they are ridiculous and a fraud. I feel like I have been scammed by them.

I bought a package on Amazon and amazon said it was being shipped with DHL. I was told my order would be given to me on October 9th. Here it is the 17th, and i’m still fighting with them and Amazon for my refund. If the package shows up at my house, great. But i doubt it even will. I just want my refund. If your order says shipped with DHL, I wish you the best of luck and hope your package will show up on time. Doubt it will though.

Delivery driver marked package as delivered and I never received it. Tried calling DHL customer service, get the run around from an auto attendant about how my package has been delivered. Auto attendant tells me package was delivered to NO GATE CODE. Tried to reschedule delivery and it asks me for an account number, I choose option, I dont have an account number, auto attendant states, no problem, then I get transferred back to the main menu. I cant actually speak to anyone in person.This is the worst delivery service and customer service I have ever experienced. Im just going to dispute the charge with my bank and hope to never have to use DHL again. Also, I will be flaming them on every social media platform I have until the end of time.

DHL customer service just blew me away! They close at 6pm in Austin, and waiting on an important delivery, two drivers were very kind to answer questions. One driver went inside to get dispatch and came out to tell me it would be a few minutes. Sure enough, a kind young lady came out and sorted out the matter.DHL, you just made a customer for life.

Update on my problems with DHL. My box that cost $175 dollars to ship with $300+ of perscriotion medicine, allergy and fun home items has been destroyed. On 18 July they sent an email asking questions on what was in the box. They were provided a list of all items in the box they responded with an email saying thank you and we will get back to you if we have any more questions. After a month the box had not been returned. I called and was told that it was destroyed because we did not respond before 22 July. I still have the email that states the date of 18th July and theyre thank you for your response. I am out $300, prescriptions and allergy medicine that my husband needs. And I do not see getting a refund from them at all in the future. Do not use DHL they will rob you blind and and refuse to take responsibility for their actions.If shipping overseas talk to that countries customs yourself for what you need to include because DHL-USA wont help. Only used DHL cause husband is stuck in China and needed his prescription meds quickly. Had the Dr signed paper for scripts and spent over $200 to ship other homey items only to have it returned to sender because we didnt have copies of receipts and pics of all the items inside the box.

My issue is whether its unsure if the package is a business or residence address. if you take the package out and you realize that it was a business address after getting there after business hours why wouldnt you take the package earlier the next day? Instead they decided to leave the package at the station adding an extra day to the delivery.

Web site and automatic call both said the package was still with courier and after few hours, the website said it was delivered the day before. I wish I saw these reviews before I trust them with my papers that they lost.

I have been waiting on a delivery. Tracking says attempted delivery, recipient not homeI waited for two days at home and no delivery was made and no notice was left. Because I had reviewed Austin Texas DHL reviews, I expected this to happen as it happens to most who left a review online. The tracking shows that delivery was made a minute a part on the two attempts. Thats seems impossible even if an honest attempt to deliver was made. I called the Austin Texas DHL location and the woman who answered the phone was very rude and had a nasty I dont care attitude and said the notices might have blew away on both days. Thats laughable as it never happens with UPS, USPS and FedEx. Like everybody else who left a review online, I suspect that no notice was left because a false attempted delivery was recorded. DHL is an hour and a half away from my address, if your driver isnt up to driving the distance than they need to find employment somewhere else. How can this happen to so many people in Austin Texas and nobody do a thing about it? Luckily, we have the Better Business Bureau where we can file complaints against companies like yours and other resources that help people like us and to notify the companies that use DHL as their shipping method. This kind of abuse has to end.

The worst experience for shipping Ive ever had. The Employee went inside andlet me waiting her for more than 40 minutes in waiting area to serve the customer who come after me.. and we both were waiting untill I left them and went to ship with FEDEX.

Worst delivery service ever!! The carrier supposedly arrived at my apartments, he called me but when I answered there was static, so I tried to call back to no answer. He marked that he tried to deliver but recipient wasn’t home. I’ve waited to weeks for the delivery & am going out of town tomorrow so this is a disaster. I called customer support & the lady told meg only option was to wait until tomorrow & that I couldn’t pick it up or anything. After talking with her I decided to call & talk to someone else who told me that I actually did have the option to pick up & that a supervisor would call & confirm, now I pretty much have no idea what is going on lol. If you have the option to use another delivery service please do, DHL shouldn’t even be in business

Very poor experience. Shipped a product from Europe to Austin, Texas. Logged on and updated delivery address four days before the delivery date. They did not update on their end and delivered to the incorrect address, which was a PO Box. Their online and phone customer service provides a horrible experience.

I wish there were a negative rating. DHL still has my package. They were to deliver it a week ago but will not because the normal route takes them over a passing that has been closed and they are too incompetent to choose one of the many other routes that come up on a GPS. Ridiculous and unprofessional. I got the we are so sorry but too bad when on the phone with customer service for over an hour.

What. In. The. Hell. First experience with DHL and they are arguably one of the worst companies to deal with on the planet. Definitely the worst shipping company by far. Read on if you want the synopsis.I ordered a package from the UK. It arrived in Austin 5 days ago. Apparently I owe a Duty Import tax to get it off hold. Fine, Im okay with that as its the standard process. What bothers me is that nobody from DHL called me. Nobody emailed me. Nobody left a door hanger or slip in my mailbox. Had I have not checked, how long would it have sat there? When I asked them the agent I spoke with dodged responsibility and said the shipper should have notified me. No. When a package leaves a shippers hands his obligation is over.Well I go online and pay the fees required for me to receive the package. Next morning, STILL on hold which requires that I spend about a half hour on the phone getting tossed around to different departments. Ultimately, because the local station wasnt answering, I had to call them myself and explain everything and go pick it up myself. So, after all this, DHL didnt even meet its one obligation which is getting a $@#%Ing packing from point A to point B. I had to become involved and pick it up myself.What an awful company in every possible way.

Terrible experience all around, wasted an entire day. Terrible service. Customer service reps lie to you, speaking to a supervisor is pointless, and drivers are lazy. Dont waist your time with this company.Been expecting a package that somehow had to be signed for so I took off work to be here to make sure it could be delivered. Waited at home all day before getting a message that they attempted delivery. Called immediately and was told that driver couldnt get through the gate. Well, they have delivered here before, so yes they can. Then was told that the delivery wouldnt be made for another two days. After asking if they could get it back to me today since I had taken off work, the customer service rep said they got their supervisor to approve a special guaranteed delivery, but it could be delivered anytime before 7:30pm. At 7:30 when nothing had come, I called back. Nice enough lady, bit she said the customer service rep from earlier had lied to me and the delivery was scheduled for the next day. After trying to get them to remove the required signature, she nor her supervisor could do that. Then I was told that there was a small chance that the package could be delivered as late as midnight when the driver was finishing their shift. Now I have to take another day off because of the entire companies incompetence.

They are the absolute worst. Its like they heard someone say it would be impossible to suck more than UPS and replied hold my beer. I tried to get around it by picking up my package at the station. Naturally it was ready to be picked up 2 hours after they closed. Now I cant go back until Monday. I would rather just travel cross-country to pick up a package at a brick and mortar location than deal with DHL.

The most important aspect of having a customer service center is to offer exceptional customer service. DHL on the other hand does the opposite. Ive been calling them three times a day for 5 days straight to check the status of a package that is supposedly out for delivery, but I have yet to receive it. They have not updated any tracking information, and supposedly sets up calls backs that I never get. At this point I will have to drive 30 minutes in Austin traffic which will ultimately take me an hour to go and pick up a package that should have already been delivered. Defeating the purpose of being a delivery service. Do better DHL.

When I told them to stop sending me text messages every 10 minutes (they sent 11), all saying the same thing (none which needed answering) ,they responded with a laughing face emoticon. I have no patience with smirking, deliberately obstructive children working at a business. Avoid these people, Fedex, UPS, and USPS all do a far more professional job.

The most expensive and the Worst service!!! Packages always delayed! Customer service is useless and all they do is to lie about estimate delivery time just to get you off the phone! They can’t comtact the driver or give any helpful info. For that much money that people pay for the service there should be NO excuses on regular basis that you have too many packages! Also if you missed a delivery it is expected that you would be the first in line next day but don’t hope for that. Garbage scam company.

The worst experience I have ever had with a delivery company. It has taken 6 days for a package to arrive and still have yet to receive it. They keep having a made up message in their system claiming I will now go pick up my package, mind you I live two hours away from Austin. Have talked to 3 different representatives of that business two being very nice the last one incredibly rude but they all seem unable to tell the delivery to actually deliver the damn package to my apartment! They have only managed to attempt to deliver my package once which was at 9 pm what a joke

DHL should be shut down. They do not share or respect your package delivery time information nor recognize how super critical this package is to your business. DHL employees I had contact with acted like government employees! Slow, carefree and the customer is always wrong. At DHL anything can wait till tomorrow! It is hell dealing with DHL.

Poor staff. Each one can give you different price. It looks like their job is not to help costumers but to make it difficult . If you are not smart enough to ask them different prices and measures for your package then good luck with a crazy charge in you card. They ask you to fill out the papers and they go inside after they tell you push the ring when you finish . You push the ring for ten times and no answer . I think they were out smoking or chatting. After that, different employee came to me ( How can we help you) I said I already had someone I just need to finish the process, She said, Ok he is helping another customer, wait. I am like, another customer inside!! I was the only one in the office? One more thing, They really have a problem with smile . DHL, You need to have better staff or at least train them well.

I saw all this negative reviews and was feeling hopeless to see my package in time or even see it , my package a expensive Tool coming from hong Kong was pickup 5-12-2019 and was supposed to be delivered 5-14-2019Well I saw the status today 5-13-2019 at 6am that it arrived to Austin Tx and was thinking of just going to pick it up so it wouldn’t be loss or delivered to a wrong address as all this negative reviews describeTo my surprise DHL Delivery guy text me that he had my package and was out for delivery today I was shocked I told him what time and he said 9:30amWell he got here at 9:30am and delivered my $3800 tool with no damages .By the way I live in Kyle Tx out in the country where the usps Delivers my mail to different houses good thing I have good neighbors that swing by and bring them back to me.I am Very happy that I got my tool one day early will used DHL Again For my ShippingP.s Hope this review helps someone from panicking about there Package

Terrible experience!! For two consecutive days I received messages that the package would be delivered on that day. I stayed home all day waiting. Although no one came to my apartment and no note was left at the door, the website and the person with the customer service insisted that they attempted delivery of the package on both days. As if that wasnt enough, since they attempted delivery twice, they wouldnt attempt delivery again for another two days. In the end I had to travel to their office an hour and half away to collect my package because I needed it urgently. The only plus was that the package arrived in good condition.

The driver said he was unable to find my address. Guess he doesnt have access to that new technology called GPS? Not buying it. Called several times and got told a different excuse each time. Now driving to the DHL office 56 miles round trip in Austin because I cant be sure they will deliver it on time. So irritated.
