My sons and I had a great trip with Tyler yesterday. We have a lot of experience fishing and have been on dozens of guided trips and from start to finish Tylers service is in the top 1%, impressive and professional. His boat and fishing equipment is top notch from tackle to state of the art fishfinding electronics. Tyler is extremely knowledgeable and was helpful giving us tips to optimize our fishing success but we also had a great time on the lake hanging out with him because he is such a great guy to spend a day with. Fishing with Tyler was awesome! I went with myself and two other people and we caught fish consistently the entire time on the water. Each one of us who went caught a species we’ve never landed before. He was also a super knowledgeable guide and cool guy to be around which I find important for an 8 hour trip. Amazing afternoon of fishing on Lake Travis! I wanted to take my ten year old twins out on their first real fishing trip, and Tyler was the perfect choice. Me, my wife and my 12 year old daughter chose a morning fishing trip on Lake Travis a couple weeks ago and we had an amazing morning of fishing. Tyler was ready and on time, took us to some great spots on the lake where in 4 hours we caught over 20 fish. My daughter caught 10 by herself. All fish were in the 2-5lb range. Tyler handle snags, netted fish and made the trip a lot of fun and very productive! We highly recommend him if you are wanting a great day of fishing!

I booked a half day trip for the evening for myself and my 13-year old daughter with Tyler through his website. Super easy to book and Tyler responded with a confirmation within 24 hours.We are both fishing novices so I told Tyler that we as interested in learning about the sport as we were catching fish. Luckily we got to do both. Tyler was the perfect guide to patiently teach us how to fish each location from tracking the depth of our bait to casting. My two girls (under the age of 10) enjoyed the trip immensely and Tyler did a great job keeping them engaged in the fishing, outdoors, and having fun.I have been fortunate to fish with guides at many premier destinations but never valued using one in my own backyard... I learned a lot from Tyler about a lake I have had a house on for years. In hindsight I could have had just as much fun/ education fishing with him here in Texas at a fraction of the cost of other trips. Like many others have said, Tyler is a superb guide who will do everything humanly possibly to put fish in the boat. On a tough late summer day, my friend and I caught 2 dozen bass! We were both expecting far less fish. Beyond that, Tyler was a wealth of information if you are interested in learning the tips and tricks that will make you a successful angler. For me, I hadnt fished much since I was a kid, and was looking to get back into the hobby. I hit the jackpot with Tyler. He taught me everything there is to know about the drop shot, and I have since caught a huge number of bass throughout the greater Austin area (using his recipe for success). Hes also a very personable guy. I highly recommend Tyler if you are interested in an enjoyable time on the water, catching fish, and learning as much as youd like to know about fishing. I’m a Salt Water fisherman but recently bought a Skeeter bass boat and recently moved to a house on Lake Travis in Hudson Bend. My friend and I went out with Tyler on Lake Travis. Tough time of year to be on the water, but that was exactly why we wanted his expertise. A pretty harsh cold front blew through while we were on the water, but we still managed to land some nice ones, thanks to him. 80F when we started and only 53F when we finished, but all in all, it was a really good day. Anyone can catch on a good day, but only the best can do it on volatile conditions like today.We would book him again in a heartbeat, given that different seasons/conditions call for different approaches.Honestly, could not be more pleased, especially given the complete change of conditions.

Can not say enough great things about this trip. He knew all the best stops to fish. We caught 17 bass in total! The greatest thing about the trip though was how great Tyler was with my 8 year old daughter. This was her time fishing on a boat and she is absolutely hooked for life! Will definitely being going out with Tyler again this summer! Hands down the best fishing guide on Lake Travis! Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I am not a good fisherman at all. Trying to identify the correct tackle for the right fish, that’s a struggle. I like traveling to Austin, Texas for many reasons...number one is fishing with Tyler on lake Travis. Every time I fish with him, not only do I get a plethora of great fishing information, I have a blast! From the trips I have taken, I always catch fish and enjoy the comfy boat features. Tyler has the right high end gear, technology, and boat to make each trip superb.

Tyler was a great guide. I went out with him on a half day trip recently on Lake Travis, and he took the time to explain all of the techniques we were using in great detail, and I learned a ton in the process. We also caught a lot of fish, so many that I stopped counting. All this in seriously inclement weather (cold wind, chop, rain etc). Tyler took my 15 year old son and I out on Lake Travis for some Spring fishing on a Sunday evening - we had a fantastic time and caught Aton of fish. He taught us about the lake, the fish, and was very patient showing my son the in’s and outs of all the equipment. Do you know anything about black bass eyelids? I didnt before this trip and wouldnt have thought Id ever care but it turns out with Tyler you learn a lot of practical things about the fish that help you understand their behavior and how to catch them. Not only did we learn, but he knew exactly where the fish were and did a great job putting us on the fish, and focusing on keeping us productive and fishing.
