Excellent service that connected me with a tutor that cared about me, my academic, and personal success.My entire life I used to hate math and think I was just one of those people who didnt get math. My tutor showed me how to understand, enjoy, and eventually love math. This allowed me to take—and enjoy—BC calculus and score well on the AP exam. Also developed test taking skills and familiarity with the SAT, and ACT. Have experience with most of the team at AT and all are amazingly bright and kind individuals, but worked closest with Will Ramsdell. Cannot recommend AT highly enough.

From the moment we interviewed with Will and Allison via Zoom, we were sold. These folks are high energy, inspiring, challenging and connected with my son from the get-go! My son chose to work with Derek and he was a great fit. They met weekly for 4 months in preparation for the April ACT. Derek is professional, brilliant, a clear communicator, calm and methodical in his approach. He and my son instantly found their groove in the weekly Zoom meetings and they worked their way through all the material to prep for the test. Five days before his scheduled April test my son tested positive for Covid, so he was unable to take the test he had been prepping for for over 4 months and the next test offered wasnt until June. I scheduled a phone call with Derek to determine our best course of action and he assured me that he had a good game plan to move forward and retain all the work they had covered in the previous months. So for the next 2 months they met bi-weekly via Zoom, working through practice tests in order to stay sharp and maintain all that they had covered. My son took the June ACT and just received his score today - he scored exactly what his goal was and what he had been consistently scoring on practice tests. He is ecstatic with his results. I believe the combination of hard work and commitment by both parties resulted in the outstanding score. I dont think he would have attained his goal without the guidance, teaching and the scope of material covered by Derek in their tutoring sessions. Derek always sent me updates and reports after tutoring sessions and made himself easily available if I had questions or comments (which I never did since he knows what he is doing!). Advantage Testing is easy to work with for both parents and students and I would 1000% recommend them to anyone. The financial commitment is fairly substantial, but in my opinion completely worth every penny, especially if you have a student willing to put in their part!

Will and Alison were very impressive when we had our first consultation and Derek Ramsey did an amazing job tutoring our daughter on the ACT. She was able to lift her score by 5 points..he knows how to connect with his students in a way that makes them motivated and diligent. I highly recommend both Advantage Testing and Derek Ramsey!

I highly recommend JC for tutoring of any sort. He is not only a pleasure to work with, but he is great at explaining the hardest concepts in the simplest of terms. JC made our tutoring sessions worth both the time and the money. I had the privilege of working with JC in high school and he helped me to raise my ACT score several points. I walked away proud of the score that I got thanks to his guidance. Even today, attending college out of state, if I have a question about a concept that I am confused on in school I can text JC at any time of the day and he responds quickly eager to help. It is evident that JC cares about the students that he tutors. Anyone would be lucky to learn from him.

I’ve had had the opportunity of tutoring with JC. I highly recommend him. I started tutoring with him when I was in high school, he helped me significantly improve my score on the ACT. I am now attending Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Last semester, I reached out to JC to get help with general chemistry and he would meet with me over zoom and explain to me how to work the problems. He’s also very helpful with essays!! Name a subject and JC will more than likely be able to help you with it!

JC Carvajal has been my tutor since Senior year of high school where he helped me raise my SAT score by 200 points in 2 weeks. Ive now finished my sophomore year of college and he has helped me tremendously in all my classes. From Hinduism to Calculus, JC has been able to teach me more in our tutoring sessions than I have learned in a class room. JC is extremely understanding and has helped me to raise my grades while helping me to have a deeper understanding of the material as well. I would compare JC to Lebron James in the NBA playoffs. He is built different. If you are looking for an all around great person and tutor definitely ask for JC to tutor your kid. Hes the GOAT (greatest of all time). Ive definitely put JC in clutch time positions. But like Lebron he performs best under pressure. JC has ice in his veins and I know if you choose to have him as your Tutor he will always deliver. There isnt a subject JC is scared of allowing him to tutor you in any class that may give you trouble.10/10
