I wouldnt swear to it but I think I was one of WHitneys first customers many decades ago. He fixed my Mac and has been doing it ever since. I moved to Del Rio long ago but I still depend on my Macs to be happy. My wife has Whitney happy her Macs as well. He has walked us through many a crisis and saved us. His car and feeding has been stellar. And he is funny to boot.

Happy Mac is the first place I go with any issues or questions about my MacBook Pro or Mac desktop computer! Whitney and Deb are very knowledgeable and have always helped me figure out what parts to purchase or what next steps to take. I have been visiting Happy Mac for the last twelve years and recommend them to friends and clients often!

I took my I-mac here that I found by a dumpster and they wiped it and reset the login info for me. The service was cheaper than anywhere else I looked at $40 and was ready the next day. They recommended affordable hardware for me to buy to increase my storage too. The computer works great and they even installed Microsoft office on it free of charge and without me asking. Whitney gave me great customer service and you can tell he is very knowledgeable when it comes to macs. Thanks HappyMac!!

Im really surprised at the good reviews for this place. I live very far away (Lakeway area) and after reading the good reviews, I called them to ask whether they could look at my daughters 2017 MacBook screen which appeared to have an LCD malfunction. The lady who answered said she could diagnose it. So, I drove all the way over there. When I walked in, she was SO rude, so disorganized and just generally frazzled. There were computers and computer parts all over the floor, everywhere. She kept putting her hands to her face and telling me how busy she was. And, then she said she wasnt sure she had the parts she needed to test it. Seriously? I wouldnt have driven all the way there if I had known that. She told me to leave it on a chair with a sticky note with my name on it and she would get back to me. NO THANKS. NO way I would leave my computer there in that pig stye with such an unprofessional and clearly overwhelmed woman.

This place is amazing. I recommend it to everyone. Case in point. I spilled iced coffee on an macbook air 15 days after the warranty ended. Apple $900 to replace; HappyMac to repair $21 because the coffee hadnt seeped (coffee pun) in. Overall experience: priceless

I couldnt have been happier with my experience here! My Macbook Pro was acting strange, so I took it to the Apple store and they basically told me it was too old and they couldnt help me. They recommended I buy a new one. I then took my Macbook to Happy Mac. They identified the problem pretty quickly, fixed it in like 15 min, and charged a very reasonable amount. I was so happy I didnt have to buy a new Mac!!

Ive used Happy Mac twice over the last couple of years, and both times they treated me incredibly well. Most recently I took my laptop in because it was intermittenly shutting down. Happy Mac recognized that my problem was a known issue and Apple had an extended warranty program for it, so they sent me to Apple to have my laptop repaired for free. They are super honest and do a great job. I would 100% recommend using these guys.

I just got my 2013 iMac back after a 3 month waiting period with Happy Mac. I know that a lot of this waiting period was due to Happy Mac having to order parts - so I was fine with that, even though I thought it was extraordinarily long. But after receiving my machine back a couple days ago, and remembering the glowing reviews that Happy Mac has, I felt I needed to share my story. Ill try to keep it short.I took my computer to Happy Mac in June 2018, experiencing what seemed to be hardware issues. I had run all diagnostic checks, reinstalled OSX, and gone through all troubleshooting steps with Apple customer service. Their shop was pretty disorganized and chaotic - there are Mac computers and parts strewn everywhere - but I thought, Hey, they have good reviews. So I dropped my computer off. I wont go into the lack of communication during the repair process, but suffice it to say if there is an extra wait - you wont find out until you call in and ask.The issue ended up being a hard drive malfunction - service with this replacement was great. Once they identified the issue, I picked a new hard drive, and they ordered it right away. But again, I didnt hear anything for several days after they said it should be done, so I called again. I was told that now the screen had gone out. Im not going to make any guesses as to how that happened, but this computer had literally sat on a desk and not moved since the box was opened until I dropped it off. The screen seemed fine.Anyway, they said they would replace the screen, they apologized for the added delay, and that was that. All in all, they had my machine for about 3.5 months. Finally, I got the call that the screen had come in, and it was done. I went to pick it up right when the store opened on Monday - where I waited outside the door until 20 minutes after they were supposed to open, before I left to run an errand. When I came back, the employee had showed up. They only charged me $100 for the whole repair, because it took so long. Great! I can forgive the wait, thanks for doing a good job....It wasnt until I got to my home an hour away that I noticed the top right corner of my new, replaced screen has a large chip in it - there is literally a cracked piece of glass missing. Amazing. Either they noticed it and passed it on anyway, or they didnt notice it - the screen was fine when I dropped it off.I dont know how Happy Mac has so many good reviews; this must have been a unique situation. At any rate, Im a little worried about taking it back to them to fix again, but I will be reporting here with any progress.Update: I called them the day this happened to let them know - the employee sighed and said Well, were going to have to look into who we got it from then. Were gonna have to call you back. No kidding - thats exactly what was said. No apologies. This was a full week ago now, and I still havent been called back.Update: This post was originally made back in Jan 2019 - I must not have pressed post. But just wanted to give another update: I still never heard back from them. During a routine hard drive replacement, somehow my screen went out. They replaced it with a refurbished screen. This screen has chips, cracks, and pixels out. I called at least 5 times, left voice mails pleading with them to help me out. Never heard back. Either all these positive reviews are fake, or this shop has taken a serious turn in the wrong direction.

Thanks, Happy Mac! My daughter brought my Mac Pro to you after much frustration and non-help from the Apple Store. And now my computer works better than ever! Hooray!!! It took a little time but it had several issues including one which involved some red wine (hmmm) and a few older issues as well. Price was excellent as well.

Spilled coffee on my laptop (mistake #1) and attempted to keep using it since it seemed to be working fine after a restart (mistake #2). By the next day the entire keyboard stopped working, so I took it to the Apple Store and told them there was a spill (mistake #3), which isnt covered by Apple Care. The employee at the Genius Bar suggested I go to another repair shop after quoting me $1200 to replace the keyboard and other affected parts, so I researched and found that Happy Mac had the most positive reviews. Im happy to add another 5 start rating to that! They were no-nonsense and explained to me that when a spill happens, you need to power off the laptop IMMEDIATELY and do not power it on– take it to a repair shop with an external HD ready to backup your stuff. (In hindsight, that is super obvious, but I saw that it was still working and didnt think much of it until later.) They charge for labor and only for the parts they need– no extra fluff charges. Ultimately the repair cost me only $250, but it did take 2-3 weeks since they have so many other orders, so do be prepared for it to take some time for laptops. Thankfully I had a backup I could borrow to use for work during that time.I will definitely be using Happy Mac in the future

I came in a little before 1pm to drop off my laptop. No one was there and there were no signs of life inside. The sign on the door stated the hours were 11 to 5:30pm but I read in other Google reviews that this place is super unreliable with time and should have listened. What is a business if it’s not reliable?

Waited with 6 other customer for the store to open and no one showed up. I understand that people get sick and things come up where they need to call in, but I also left voicemails which were never returned. When I called to express my frustration to Joshua over waiting for 2 hours and then having to make an additional trip today to pick up my computer, he couldnt care less and there was no apology. And, my computer was not fixed properly the first time, which means this will be my fourth trip. Wont be going back.

Happy Mac really makes you HAPPY! My trackpad had a mind of its own. It would click things without me knowing so I became that girl who added people she really didnt know on Facebook, FlipML! It would select all or not respond at all as well, which made me want to destroy it if macs werent so f-in expensive. Anyways went to the Apple store, they said it would cost over $400 plus I had to buy an external hard drive because they wont be responsible for memory lost. Ummm over $400 hell no. So I went on Yelp & found Happy Mac with its hella high reviews. I went there and Debbie, awesome lady, told me theyll try to find a used trackpad to cut the cost. They worked with my tight schedule to get things done. I also asked if I needed to purchase a hard drive first, she said no as they would only be working on the external but did recommend a good external drive to buy (Seagate). I got my macbook back and a 90 day warranty (same as apple) for only $163 so I saved OVER 50%. My trackpad, though better, was still acting up here and there. I emailed Debbie and Happy Mac replaced & fixed my trackpad with another used one within 24 hours. Now its working just fine (fingers cross). I asked her if I would still be on the same 90 day warranty from the first used trackpad, Debbie answered, Dont worry about it, well take care of you if needed. Awww so nice! She also advised me to take off my keyboard cover off at times so condensation and molding dont occur. Conclusion, Apple store sucks & is a money drainer. Happy Mac is super nice and gets the job done without all that BS.

UNPROFESSIONAL. They completely LOST my old hard drive! Not only that, but things that *used to* work on my Macbook no longer do: CD drive, microSD slot reader, etc. all NON-FUNCTIONAL after they got their petty hands on my rig.BUT WAIT, THERES MORE: Estimated ~10 days to finish exchanging original HDD for SDD, *with* information transfer. IT TOOK 40 DAYS.Careless, reckless, AND TERRIBLE SERVICE. I cant get my work back due to your blatant stupidity and disorganization! Oh yeah, it smells like someone died in there.
