Excellent service! I went on line and set up an appointment for today (Sunday of Labor Day week-end). No wait. They replaced the glass on my i-Pad same day. I picked it up a couple of hours later. Also less expensive than other place I called by $50+ and that place was going to take 5 days. Highly recommend this service.

This was a very pleasant experience for one of those repairs you just cringe at! I received an email estimate for double the price at another shop that was never open and did not answer the phone. These guys were nice and quick. In and out really fast! My iPad was like new!

Luckily my repair was simple and they got the proximity sensor cable on my iPhone replaced in less than 2 hours (quicker than expected). Whoo! I’ll definitely keep them in mind if I have cell phone issues again.

Replaced an iPhone XR screen. Failed within a week when we were on vacation in Mexico. Replaced a second time and permanently damaged the faceId sensor. Eventually ended up in the Apple store where they confirmed the damage was unrepairable. Had to buy a new phone.Don’t get me wrong, the managers were kind and professional. Even waived the fee for the 2nd screen “labor only.” But obviously they have techs that don’t deserve to be anywhere close to electronics.

I got my phone screen fixed because it was broken beyond use and they managed to fix the screen, but I dont know if they replaced it with a low-quality screen or what because half of the times I try to tap the screen it just doesnt register. Its been like this for months, starting from the day after I got it fixed and there hasnt been any other damage since. I can literally tap several times and it still wont register that Im clicking anything. I spent wayyyyy too much money to not have a screen that works every time.

The establishment looks professional with the calm collective trustful demeanor of its employees to managers.. but the appearance “pawn shop” is misleading. They have no signs up that say “NO REFUNDS” while pushing financing with no credit checks.. Con work at its finest.. **Please be cautious before you BUY anything from them*** the phones aren’t in excellent condition for the prices they post… They will offer to purchase the product back for half the price.. This is a great place to go if you need any assistance transferring data between phones with completely cracked screens and for screen replacement. They restored everything for me in a short time frame and were very professional.

My Google Pixel 2 dropped on the floor. As a result the screen was black and the entire phone non reactive. CPR kept the phone for diagnosis. I returned a few hours later. So got online and found these awesome people at CPR Repair and got a quote before I entered the location... fast easy and half of what I was going to pay with insurance. Had to get my phone screen replaced about a week ago- unfortunately when it was replaced there was a small air pocket that caused the screen to lift. I brought it back today and they fixed it under their warranty and were so very nice and accommodating! 10/10 would come here again if I needed!

Ive gotten my phone repaired here now 3 times (im a klutz). each time the employees have been polite, informative, and the repair service has been swift. im pretty sure at one point they even price matched which was nice. this last time my warranty was still active which means i only spent $10 for the screen protector instead of $200 for the repair as well so that was a pleasant surprise. highly recommend

This repair shop replaced my glass screen with something way lower scale. My touch sensitivity has been off and my whole fingerprint feature on my phone doesn’t work anymore. There are just odd sensitivity issues at random times. My phone gets super hot and overheated.None of these things have happened in the 4 years that I got my phone. I shattered my screen (completely my fault), got it fixed for $80 and now I’m having all these issues with my phone.I was worried about coming here in the first place, but I should have just gone to Apple so they could fix it, and not screw me over.The screen protector that he had on my phone was completely a different brand and had no correlation with Apple.The screen did have a warranty for issues like that I am experiencing, but really I just want my money back.

Customer experience was great - got my screen replaced in a timely manner. Although I’m pretty bummed I’m not able to utilize dark mode on my iPhone anymore. Screen is brighter than ever at its minimal level of illumination, with no dimming capability.

My Mavic Pro Platinum Drone was not working due to the remote not communicating to the aircraft. I spent hours and multiple reps from DJI without any remedy, some were downright rude. I called CPR and they couldnt have been nicer. Got me right in and were able to troubleshoot and repair the drone within a few hours at a very, very reasonable cost. I cant begin to tell you the headache they saved me from. Because of their quick service I also did not miss two deadlines I needed the drone for. I highly recommend these guys. They know what customer service is!!

So the glass on my phone was already cracked but when I dropped it this morning a couple of pieces came out of the glass so it was time to get it fixed. Called AT&T since thats where I bought it and they partner with CPR and highly recommended them. Called them, they gave me a quote, I took it in within the hour and fortunately they had a screen in stock for my LG G6. It was ready in a couple of hours to my satisfaction. Highly recommend. Very satisfied. And I was pleased that it didnt break the piggy bank too.

Took phone in with one hour left to close. After leaving store, my son tells me he needs phone to be able to FaceTime in order to complete school group project. I called store back to tell them that I’d have to take phone some other time due to the situation at hand. I took my iPhone 6 to them after dropping it in a bucket of water on Christmas Eve. Shane gave me a quote over the phone for water damage. I brought the phone in to him and he immediately took it apart to look inside and give me a better idea of the expected results. Luckily for me, there didnt appear to be as much damage as expected. So I left the phone with them. Came back after work to pick it up and they only charged me half of the original quote. And the best part is that my phone works and I have peace of mind that it will continue to work until I have at least paid it off! Ha!If you are in need of a repair, I wouldnt take my phone anywhere else! Shane is awesome!

I mean I saw all these bad reviews but still decided to give them a chance I have a iPhone XS Max and had a broken back screen everywhere it said it was gonna be about $200 and two or three business days to fix but this place it took 4 hours !! Amazing and it was fixed no problems and nothing, they are very professional and I would recommend this to everyone !! :)

Donn was absolutely wonderful!!I had received a new glass screen protector from Bodyguardz free of charge, because I was enrolled in their advantage program. I, however had no idea how to install it. AT&T, where I had originally purchased the phone and 1st screen protector would not help because I no longer had an account with them. The Apple store would not help because I didn’t purchase the glass from them. I called CPR and Donn told me to come on in. He installed the new glass screen protector in about 10 minutes and didn’t charge me a penny. He was so helpful and polite!! When I need cell phone help in the future, CPR is where I will go. Thank you Donn and thank you CPR!! My old iPhone SE looks beautiful and brand new!!

TOTAL SCAM. OVERCHARGED ME AND NEVER DID THE REPAIR.I brought in a Samsung Galaxy S7 on March 22, 2019 to replace the back glass case and a battery. First, they wanted to charge me double for doing both repairs at once, because We charge for labor. Sure, but its the exact same process to take off the back case to replace the battery as it is to replace the case, but whatever. The price is the price.So they didnt have the case in stock and would have to order it, and asked if I wanted to leave the phone with them overnight to complete it, or they would call when it came in. This is my sons phone and hes tethered to it like an umbilical cord, so, we opted to keep it. So to get started, they wanted to charge me a deposit. Fair enough.INSTEAD, THEY CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE REPAIR. When asked about it, the clerk just said, Oops, and didnt apologize or offer anything to make it better. Not a big deal-- theyd call me tomorrow when the part got in, and what difference does it make, really? Im chill.Cut to over one week later. Not even a phone call. I check my receipt and it says 3-5 days so I give them plenty of business days and then some. Called in and asked whats happening with my repair 8 days after paying them, and they still dont have the case in. (Mind you, I can order the case and battery off Amazon and it would be here in 2 days. Not sure what their excuse is.)The sales rep I spoke to offered nothing and basically said I could either get a refund or move forward. Like, seriously? Jerking me around and you cant even apologize or do something to show you stand by your business? No explanation but another vague promise that theyd call me when the case came in. . . probably tomorrow.I complained more and got a message from the owner trying to apologize. He said he put a note on my work order to make things right.As of April 2, still never received a call that the part had come in. I went in to the store and asked for a refund. Despite the owners promise, they had no special note or anything in the work order and I had to demand my money back.For the record, I wouldve preferred to just have the work done, not get a refund, but Im stuck here being told It will be here in a few days. The guy I talked to said about the back glass, Sometimes those take 3-5 days to come in. I asked him how many days it had been since I put in the work order (the answer is 10) and then said, And thats how many more than 3-5?I wanted to support a local business and use their expertise to do this replacement quickly and efficiently. Not worth the hassle or money. These folks obviously dont know what theyre doing or how to show their customers that they are valued.Re:Comments below by owner-- My goal here is to warn people on how you do business. Youre not debating the factual accuracy of anything Ive said. You charged me up front for the entire cost of a repair and sat on it for nearly two weeks while stringing me along telling me the part was coming in a few days. I was more than patient, and posting this review on Yelp didnt get me anything except a promise youd noted something in the service order-- which apparently no one got the memo. Giving a cash refund is literally the least you could do here as I dont trust your word that money would, in fact, be refunded to my debit card. Most stores (Best Buy, Target, etc) offer cash refunds for purchases on debit cards, but please continue to pat yourselves on the back for going the extra mile for me as a customer. All I needed was some transparency-- a phone call every couple of days on what was taking so long and an apology, an explanation of what you were doing to take care of me. The fact I had to track you down, call you, complain on websites, go into the store to complain, says everything about how you truly treat customers. Got your money? Dont care about you.

Got my front screen and back camera replaced 1 month ago. the front screen is completely shattered and half black just from falling off my bathroom counter and the glass to cover the camera came off weeks ago. Dont recommend this place.

What a great place! The staff took so much time to try and help me. While I waited I was able to look at some of the accessories they sell- Otter boxes were 5.00 cheaper than several big cell carriers and retail stores. They have a large selection of cell phone and lap top equipment too. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this store.

Ive gotten my phone replaced here maybe three times, and the first two times the screen would always act up afterwards. This third time I got it fixed, now my back camera and flash doesnt work at all. A month after I got my phone fixed for the third time, my friend got his phone fixed here and the same problem happened to him. I dont know what theyre doing to cause not one but two different peoples back cameras to stop working completely. And they dont have a warranty on this. Shouldnt they be obligated to fix it for free since THEYRE the ones who broke it? Youre better off ordering the parts on amazon and fixing it yourselvesEDIT: My last time getting my phone repaired was not in march, it was a month ago under my friends account, and he went here recently.

NEVER do business at CPR South Austin. They are a SCAM! I took my crashed drone to have an ESTIMATE, just an estimate. Next thing you know they call me telling me they ordered parts and serviced the drone WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and then stuck me with an up-charged bill. They then told me if I dont pay within a certain time period they would confiscate the drone. This is not even the icing on the cake though. The drone I picked up from them was put together wrong and couldnt even fly. The incompetency and blatant lies from this business is outstanding. They just want to take your money and exploit customers anyway possible. This location shouldnt even be in business. Youve been warned.

I was all set to write a 4 star review after I took my phone in because it had stopped charging and within a few hours they handed me back a working phone. Then, it stopped working about a month later, so I took it back. No big deal, any number of things could have happened and they offered a 180 day warranty, so it would be fine. Only it wasn’t quite so fine this time. I think it would be good for the techs at CPR to learn 2 important lessons:1. COMMUNICATE!: Over the course of the week they had my phone, I called several times. At least 3 separate times I was told a technician would call me back later that day. They didn’t call once.2. COMMUNICATE!! If you can’t communicate with your customers at the very least you should be able to communicate with each other. You should never have to ask a customer “was the phone in pieces when you dropped it off?” That’s not terribly professional and is more than just a bit concerning. It seemed one technician left for the day and when I arrived later to pick up my phone they had no idea if it was fixed or not or even what it’s original condition wasTo their credit, the technicians at CPR were generally friendly and courteous. They never talked down to me or tried to pass off the problem. In the end, I got back a mostly working phone at no extra cost, but the lack of communication and the extended time frame made for a very frustrating experience.

I took my iPhone because it crashed. It screen was black and wouldnt power on after a hard reset. Zach tested the battery, which was fine. I turned it in for repair and got it back a few days later. In the interim I got a new phone and Zach was SUPER helpful in getting my contacts transferred to my new phone since I was locked out of my apple id. He was more helpful than the Apple store was!
