Was able to quickly turn around alterations on a junior brides maid dress for my daughter. Very quick and efficient service.

Overpriced and when I went to pick up items a day after they were supposed to be done, they werent ready. I had to wait another 20 minutes, so I ran an errand and when I returned one of the seamstresses rudely exclaimed name? And then threw the clothes on the counter as if I was to fetch it. I had 4 items, 3 sweaters with minor stitching and 1 wait and on shorts to remove paid over $62 with a discount of 15% Ive had a lot of clothes tailored and couldnt believe the cost here. Was it great, not really average work.

Got my Hayley Paige wedding gown altered here and it looks amazing! I had it hemmed, the bodice altered, bustle added & they attached a belt and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. The bodice was tricky & took time but the result is amazing it looks like the bodice wasnt even altered. My seamstress was so sweet & they are very safe with COVID precautions which made the experience nearly stress-free. The manager was also a huge help & both women made visiting Ace so fun. Took my fiances suit & shirt and they came out perfect as well! Thank you ace Tailors!!

Victor was extremely helpful and nice. He showed me all my options and pricing which made it much easier to decide.

If you are looking for a place to tailor your clothing to your satisfaction, I highly recommend Ace Tailors. I have been getting my alterations done by them for the longest time. I recently has my wedding dresses altered by them and I was absolutely satisfied with the work. The team was absolutely incredible and they are most definitely the best crew for the job. They do great work and are extremely friendly. Im only giving four stars because of the price. If youre looking for somewhere affordable, I wont go here. I took my bridesmaid dress in which cost me just under $200, and they charged me $137 to get it altered — taking off about two inches from the bottom and a half an inch on the side.

Experienced and talented tailors. I had to get a suit taken it, and while it cost more than I wanted, I now have a sharp looking coat and tailored pants as well.

Ace Tailors is a great business with true integrity. I came in on a Friday in a pinch and I needed the zipper fixed for a dress I was wearing the next day. Even though they were obviously busy, they took my piece in right away and fixed it perfectly within minutes! And when I asked the manager what I owed them she said nothing. These people are truly kind and they pay it forward. I was smiling all day because of this simple act of kindness. I will definitely continue to come here for all of my alteration and tailor needs!

I am beyond impressed with Ace Custom Tailors. I am a serious clotheshorse and have done some design and textile work, personally. I bought a fabulous thick, high-collared ruffled military-inspired coat overseas and wanted to turn this coat into a sleeveless dress for a performance. I certainly dont have the skills to do this project on my own and the women at Ace worked so well with my ideas. The results were magnificent; better than I couldve envisioned! Thank you! Ill be back with more exciting projects!

I dropped my items and was given a pick up date 1 week later at 4 pm, the quote was a little steep $48 to fix a zipper, and an additional $28 to patch a hole.. No problem so far. So when I arrive a week later to pick up I get there at 3:52, 8 minutes before pick up time. The woman at the counter said items arent ready on the day of pick up until 4 pm; I look at my clock and say you mean in 8 minutes? She said yes, we havent started either item yet. So you mean to tell me youre going to wait until the last 8 minutes of a week to hurriedly fix my items and then turn around and tell me that cost $80? cmon man

I was very disappointed by the quality of service here. I requested a simple hem for a pair of pants, and they were returned with a sloppy, uneven, wavy stitch. It is slightly pinching the fabric in a couple of places. I am giving two stars since they did hem the pants to the length I requested. Everything else about the work was unsatisfactory. If you are looking for quality workmanship, I cannot recommend Ace Tailors.

Walked in without an appointment to get a pant leg hem fixed and I was out of there within 5-10 minutes. Really helpful and nice staff and they didnt charge me for the fix in exchange for a review. I am planning on using them again for my alternation needs.

Charged me almost $300 to alter a bridesmaids dress and didn’t finish the stitching. By then end of the night, the dress had separated completely. No apologies when I brought it in to show them they had left it with the loose placement stitching rather than finishing the service. Wish I’d listened to the reviews!

Excellent tailor, took a long sleeve checkered Ralph Lauren button up shirt that need the sleeves narrowed and shortened as well as the sides taken in. Its perfect, not a bad stitch on it, not a sloppy thread hanging anywhere and the fit is just right. Nothing off the rack fits me right in the arms and body, so everything gets tailored... Ive had things done at just about every tailor in town and this is the first place Ive felt strongly enough about to write of, besides some bespoke places. Their prices were reasonable and timeline typical, they have express tailoring if needed. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Had some pants re-sewn here. Craftsmanship was great, and they got it done in a week.

I took a hat there a few weeks ago to get a patch seen on. I was greeted by a nice fella, he said no problem. I stopped by a few hours later and it was all good. I decided to get a patch sewn on another hat and I was greed by a mean woman who said they dont sew patches on hats. I informed her that they certainly did and I showed her because I was actually wearing the hat. She denied that they did the work. I swore to her that Ace is the only place I know in town that does this sort of thing, its a pretty recognizable place, and Im not a complete idiot. I know where I had the work done. She was a nasty old woman and refuses to take money for a simple job that the company had done for me previously. I did a search and found Austin Tailor and Cleaners one block away. I went there instead. As I was leaving Ace two people were walking in and I told them about the terrible customer service and they followed me to Austin Tailor. One girl said she always needs her clothes altered because shes small. So not only did they lose my business they lost a repeat customer because they do not know how to treat customers consistently. Ill never go there again.

Sadly, this place seems to be banking more on convenience than competence. First, they cant make their own deadlines. Three times Ive been in and found that my items are not ready for pickup.They ruined the sleeves on my Ann Taylor dress, making the elbow-length sleeves so uneven that they had to be made short to salvage the dress.Additionally, I took a pencil skirt in to have the hem shortened. The hem was unfinished and fell out the next time I wore it. I returned it and the next result was just as bad. Two types of thread, three styles of stitching. And none of it held up to use.The ladies at the front we nice and sympathetic, but I have no confidence in the people at the machines and will be seeking more competent hands elsewhere.

Love this place. When they say theyll have your clothing ready in less than 24 hours, they mean it. I took them my yellow banquet dress and it came out perfect. They recreated a complex hem and got the length just right - in just under 24 hours.

Im starting nursing school tomorrow and needed to hem my scrubs by today. I called three different places and decided to go with Ace Custom Tailors, Im so glad I did! They were a bit cheaper than the other two places I inquired about and they had my two pants hem within an hour. Lady in front was very friendly as well. Will definitely come back again.

I wish I liked Ace- they have a great location but horrible customer service. Ive given them multiple tries, and every time I am disappointed in some form or fashion. They did extra alterations to a dress and did not tell me it would be for an additional charge - and a steep one at that! When I asked to speak with a manager, they said she would call me the next day since she was already gone. Never heard from the manager after attempts to call and figure out what went wrong. The employees there were of zero help and did not seem to care, saying oh yeah, he does that - he will add on extra alterations without telling the customers there is an extra price. On top of that, whenever I go in to pick up my clothes, they are never ready on time. The one time they were ready, they couldnt find the dress for 15 minutes and were scrambling around trying to find my items. Will never go here again, even if there were no mess-ups, because they are so pricey for sub-par quality and customer service.

Im just going to keep it simple. If you want your best done right then this is the only place to take your finest articles of your wardrobe. I not going to trust just anyone with my Armanis, Canalis, Zegnas and such. Ive never been dissatisfied with any of the costom recuts Ive asked them to do. And nor will you..... Amazing how better my best looks now!!!! Thanks Ace.

I scheduled an appointment for Friday at 10am. I showed up at 9:55am and the entire store was closed! The hours of operations are M-F and open well before 10! They had a we are closed will return at 6:25. Apparently they decided to take a vacation!!I called their phone while sitting in front of the store and it rang endlessly; did not leave a message on their phone that they would be closed. They werent even considerate enough to call their future clientele to inform them they should reschedule!
