Vacuum was pretty good (although it would have been nice to have accepted cards, not just quarters). The automatic car wash was also pretty great, although it didnt dry off my car as much as I wanted. Overall, good experience though.

My car was incredibly dirty after the storm and in desperate need of a wash. I was unable to wash because of an ordinance requiring car washes to be closed while we conserve water. King of the Road was compliant and there for me when the ban was lifted. I had the honor of using the automatic wash the first time it was available. I was given information on how to work it from the owner, who was kind, professional, and masked properly.

Its one of the few carwashes that I know of with a touchless option which is why I go out of my way to go here; I have a convertible. Unfortunately it doesnt work any better than the others.😒 I did it manually last time I was here, bought $5 in coins, and wasnt able to use them; it wouldnt take them. Had to use my debit card, and now dont know what to do with these coins. Anyway, I thought I was paying $2 for each swipe (I swiped my card twice). Later when I checked my bank account, I saw I was charged $10 once. SMDH At least I hope thats all I was charged.🤔 That $10 turned to 15 once it actually posted. I wont be using my debit card here anymore. Thieves.

Only takes 2 dollars at at time. Gives u 3.5 minutes. Not good for me, Cuz I only needed to rinse. So I didnt use my last minute and a half.

I tried three different vacuums, not one of them worked. I put a leaf in the palm of my hand and tried to get the vacuum to take it. It didn’t even have the suction to do that.If you put quarters into those vacuums, you are quite literally just giving them your quarters as they simply don’t work.

When you exchange dollar bills, you get tokens and not quarters like most car washes. The time doesnt seem to last long enough for the amount of tokens you have to put in it. Ill probably skip this place next time I need to wash my car and go somewhere I can use quarters.

I love the vacuums here the suction is perfect and the water pressure will take all the dirt off your car effortless not exactly the best neighborhood but hey its a good carwash🤷🏾‍♀️

Been using this carwash for about 2 years, good price, Ive only had 2 instances where the lazer wash was broke. Now being one of those times lol. The first time the owner was quick to respond, and get it resolved. Now, Im sitting in the drive-thru waiting on a call back.

Paid $8 for the middle tier wash and the machine splashed some water on my car and did nothing else. Waste of money.

Great car wash! Had a minor problem with getting my vacuum token with wash. I called and they were there immediately with the token. The only thing is the vacuum didn’t have a lot of suck maybe be clogged filter. Other than that I love this car wash!

Some of the vacuumes dont work neither does some of the hand washing stations, maybe they should repair them with the money they steal they dint bother putting cones or notes that certain things dont work but no more $$$ for them

I went to King of the Road to use their vacuums. I tried three different units: the first had no suction and the next two had broken hoses (nozzle came apart from hose so I had to hold it in place the whole time). Of course I did not realize these problems until after I paid and I could not find anyone to refund my money. One plus is that the change machines are very accessible.

It was a rip off i used my card for like four minutes i really just sprayed my car off i didnt wash it and they took ten bucks i never use it again

One of the best self serve car washes. I will go out of my way to wash my there. Maitained well works great easy to operate and less expensive than some others.I have been there both day and evening hours. Absolutely recommend.

Automatic car wash gives free vacuum token and a prep area with a soap brush to get bug tar off of vehicle. Great experience!

Pretty standard DIY car wash. The vacuums rarely work though, the most recent time I went one vacuum was completely destroyed. Its probably more cost effective to go to the car wash on Berkman and 51st, a basic wash is $9.00, but the vacuums are free after the wash.

Paid for a $10 automatic car wash. Pulled into the bay and the wash would not start. No available help on site. Owner did not answer when I called. Manual bays only accept tokens, not actual coins. Ill be washing my car elsewhere next time.

Just seen the owner pull out the vacuum on his customer and insult him. There is away to conduct your business and a way not to conduct your business. If you ask someone to do something allow them time to comply before you go off and break your own equipment. I understand you make the rules but allow time to comply and dont racial profile people as you did. Will not return to this car wash.

The machine deducted funds (twice) from my account but the automatic car wash was broken so I never received a car wash yet was charged for two of them. There is no signage with company information posted anywhere on site for customers with concerns or complaints. I do not suggest going here unless you want your money taken and it being a long hassle to get it back. There was no sign stating the machine was broken and numerous people were having their money taken by the machine yet not receiving a car wash. Unacceptable

Its an ok car wash, half the time at least something doesnt work. The one star is for changing the amount of time you get with the vacuum for $1 from 4 minutes to 2 minutes. Every other car wash ever gives you 4 minutes . 2 minutes is not enough time to get anything clean. At least change the price to $2 instead of letting people get screwed after they put money in. There are plenty of other car washes in Austin.

Everything worked well but Ive visited places with cheaper services. All in all it was still good.

First time going to this place and my car gets half washed then scratched on the driver side and trunk. Waist of ten dollars. Not worth the effort or business.

Never was able to get hot soapy water for my wash cycle. However, the ability to use a card is convenient.

Plenty of stalls to wash your ride. Drive thru I would only use if your car needs a quick touch up. My black car went all week w no washing and it was super dirty. Def needed elbow grease to get all the dirt off. Overall not bad. Nice touch to give you a free token for free vacuum w the Royal treatment which is the $10 most expensive option. Close to my place which is why I chose this location and bc it was touch free wash. No spinning things messing up your cars paint.

Too many homeless people that are right there when you pay for washing. There are 2 shady guys that stand by the machines by the automatic wash creep me out. Not safe. Go somewhere else
