I took my pre-license courses, and most of my CE courses, through TREBS and have been licensed now for 7 years. I have now just completed the Custom brokers package (I needed a lot of hours!) that the school put together for me and now I am ready to take the exam for my brokers license! Thank you TREBS, and Lynn and Wayne for continuing to provide great and educational courses!

Do not waste your time. This course is set up almost as a dictionary that takes one Real Estate Term at a time and gives a definition then quizzes you on it. If you can memorize thats great but it doesnt help you get any true understanding of the topics and knowlesge youll need to actually be an agent. I should have known better as it was a very affordable price on Groupon, but I wasted both my money and time getting through one section before I knew there was zero chance Id pass the test or be prepared to be a good agent. Dont waste your time or money either, go elsewhere.If you check out the Texas Commission on Real Estates website, you can see pass rates of other Real Estate Schools as well as theirs. They dont even have a 50% pass rate. I found a much better school with an engaging and innovative course with one of the highest pass rates in the state for a great price! Do your research before hitting buy with this place!

If you are looking at getting into the real estate business, this is the place to start. Not only can you complete these courses at your own pace, you also have internal support from the services that the real estate business school supplies. I was pleased with how personal their customer service has been with me and how much they have been willing to help me along the way. On top of that, a book written by the owner (Wayne) is provided to you free of charge. Being an avid reader, this has to be one of the most motivational and empowering reads that I have come across. Till this day I still recommend “How to get rich in real estate and have a life” to many of my colleagues. Overall I am very pleased with the service I have been provided with and can credit the real estate business school with setting a firm foundation for me to start with as I venture into my real estate career.

To stay current and have active status with all of the required TREC continuing education courses, I prefer Wayne and the Texas Real Estate Business School for the past 5 years. I AM SO SCARED!! I just finished my courses and received all my certificates. I was processing the application and other required documents to take exam and happened to stumble upon the OVERALL PASS % is at 40%!!! Which lead me to read the negative review from this school! I agree with what everyone on here is saying. The course is extremely dry, filled with spelling/ grammar errors. PREPARE TO RE READ EVERYTHING! Im so glad i read other students are having the same issues because at times I thought I was never going to understand Real Estate! The way the courses/ material is mapped out is all over the place! They use terminology that isnt explained until the next course? Causing me to constantly use google to look up terms so I could understand what the hell they are talking about! If i dont pass my national/state exam the first time I will be purchasing courses from Champions who is more expensive but they have a 70-80% pass rate!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!! DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL!!

This is an exceptional way to do continuing education. I personally like the live classes the best; however, the online classes are good too. With that said, I am glad I experienced these classes. The provider is excellent and takes care of business. Their communication process is exceptional. This is so important for online education. Keeping me well informed about time of classes for live sessions and answering any and all questions in a rapid manner. Even emailing me reminders and more reminders as to when the class is starting. If someone missed these live classes they have no excuse! Very impressive! This provider runs a tight ship! Wayne, the instructor for my live classes is very knowledgeable, knows his business and is a great instructor! While taking the online internet courses the internet was very congested, causing some unusual problems with the course. Every single call I made to this provider was handled in an extremely caring and professional manner!! If you do experience difficulties while taking a class, it is so wonderful having a provider who immediately looks at your problem and remedies the situation in a kind courteous manner!!!

Started taking classes in December of 2017. Being a working mom of three it can be challenging to have any “free time”. Been using the Austin Institute of Real Estate for years now and found they are much more than just a real estate school. The new online course is AWESOME!! For students looking to get their license, it is very clear and easy to understand. I know there were some hiccups getting to this point but the end results are the best I have ever seen.

Wayne and Lynn Morgan, the owners, are wonderful people. They use their business to serve and add value to other people’s lives. This is the reason I’ll only come to them for future certifications and training.How they blessed me below:I was working two jobs (retail sales and restaurant management), 80 hours a week, and let my deadline pass for my classes. COVID hit and suddenly I had much free time and took a huge financial hit.I called and asked Lynn if I could finish my courses. She asked me how I was doing and told me she’d extend it to the 30th. I said, Lynn, you just changed my life!With test anxiety, I created a schedule to knockout my courses, then take my tests. I figured I could take two final exams a day on the last three days, and I’d be done by the 30th. Unbeknownst to me, you are required by TREC to wait 2.5 days between each test. (Don’t make the mistake I did.) I call, talk to Wayne. He says don’t sweat it. Just take your tests.They’re kind, caring, and connected to their students. They want to see you win! You want a quality education, flexibility, and to earn your certification with people you trust, enroll in the The Real Estate Business School. You’ll be happy you did!

Actually I give this business a big fat 0! I purchased on 6/5/19 and no where in there publications does it say if you cancel you will be charged a 5% processing fee ($13 in my case). Guess where it says it...on the Invoice AFTER you purchase so that they are going to make money regardless if you cancel or not. That is a Scheme. I was just needing to delay the classes and was planning to come back BUT now I would not do business with a place that rips people off. I called and explained this to Niki, Chelse, and now I am waiting on the Owner Lane Morgan to call me. I feel all fees should be disclosed BEFORE Purchase NOT AFTER!!! What did they really have to process? I did the purchase online and they sent me an email. WOW thats a lot of work. I am fed up and disappointed in businesses that are not UPFRONT with all fees and charges. So check around folks there are many more RE Business Schools that are upfront and kind to customers. Now on to filing my complaint with the BBB I will not be taken advantage of!

I went in July to see about a career change and I was hesitant to jump into this field. Sat down with Jessica Martinez at the school and spoke with her for an hour about the steps, legal reasons, and price options. She was very thorough and honest which I know to be true, because it is hard to sell a salesman like myself. I delayed on making the move but mustered up the guts to just do it. Got to speak to Jessica again and things had changed. However, she was consistent with her awesome ways and helped me find the right option for my needs. Shes an Angel and Im very excited to embark on this journey. She even gave me alternative options for the future when I finish the course. I was recommended to go there and the experience was in line with my friends remarks.Now who wants to buy a house from me?

I never got to take my courses. I purchased the program during a promotion, and when I started them, life happened. I wasnt aware you only had 6 months to complete the courses, and I was told I could repurchase for $80 per course. HA! No thanks. Service is everything these days. So if you dont have he immediate time to do this, dont purchase from this company. Theres absolutely NO exceptions. Suggestion: email your clients a friendly reminder 30days before expiration or options for extension. Very disappointed.

The only school that actually teaches you how to use your license! Their business building and marketing courses as well Wayne Morgans monthly workshops are a MUST if you want to be successful in real estate AND also create your own wealth! Some people here complained about their customer service but it looks like they upgraded their staff as my latest experience with them was great!

I recently decided to get my real estate agent license to assist in furthering my education and accomplishing my career goals. I reached out to the Austin Institute of Real Estate with questions on the process and Michelle did a wonderful job of answering my questions and addressing any concerns I had about the process. Within a few hours, I was able to register for my courses and schedule a few of the classroom courses to supplement the training. The instructors were very knowledgeable on the course content and often added real world examples attained through experience to the subject matter. The staff and instructors continued to not only meet expectations, but exceeded my expectations on a consistent basis. I enjoyed my learning experience and will definitely return for continuing education in the future!!!

The coursework was very thorough. I became very upset with the Austin Institute after I purchased my courses and could not access them. I talked with several employees that refused to do the right thing; but finally I was able to talk with the founder and owner, Wayne Morgan. He did the right thing and because of that I feel comfortable in recommending the school.

There were many errors in grammar and spelling throughout the courses. I have been working alongside a realtor in learning how to conduct business, and I have learned more from him than I have from these courses by far. There were a couple of things I asked him help for with the reading in these courses, as I was confused by the material. When I asked for help, the agent I asked was also confused by the material being covered.

I signed up for the $29 Renewable course package. I got kicked offline and immediately tried to log back on. The class was locked. I called the establishment and the lady that answered the phone was very rude. She yelled at me for no reason. I don’t give a flying damn if the classes were free, I will “NEVER” in this life take a damn class with them again. It’s very apparent why their classes are $29. You get what you pay for.

The coursework was very thorough with classes available if you still feel you need more education in real estate. The worst service and program I have ever experienced. While I was taking my exam, the system suddenly kicked me out and wouldnt let me log back in because the program retired and my account apparently expired. So after wasting my time and almost finishing the course, I cant even receive the certificate for it because it shut down on me... unless I pay $80 per course to extend the time for me to finish them. Also, I didnt receive any notice of my account being expired. Had I known that it would expire soon, I would have worked on them quicker and tried to finish all of the courses a lot sooner than the expired date. I dont usually spend my time writing reviews like this, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

Thanks for extending my courses, Natalie. I have a busy schedule with work and my kids, and this would be a big help! I look forward to getting licensed. I highly recommend taking courses here, especially since the staff and instructors are here to go above and beyond to help.

Trust everything the other 1 star reviews state. I have had nothing but problems. They falsely advertise what they offer and Im close to disputing the charges on my credit card at this point.The biggest issue of all that should be concerning for ANYONE taking these courses is that if you take them online, be prepared to not have anyone return your calls or emails to help you understand or get through a problem. Their system is a joke.I came across this issue when I came across one problem on their finance practice exam that does not provide enough information in the question to retrieve the answer. (Even a senior finance friend of mine could not come up with an answer that matched theirs) I emailed and called last Friday. It is now the following Thursday. I have called 5 times and emailed several times. Every time I call or email they do not have any account as to my previous inquiries and I have to repeat myself.Update: I finally got a response and it was the same answer I came up with, which means their test question/answer is bad. Another thing to consider before plopping money down.

Wonderful experience. Great helpful staff. I have had many friends obtain their real estate license and highly refer to me. Excited to finish my courses.

Never again!! They dont do as they promised!! I took the Test the first time & called customer service and asked to make sure if I was answering the bullet questions correctly, if they show green in the box since there is an option to review and the color would indicate yellow. She said that would certainly seem so. I took the Exam and didnt pass the first time. Customer service said she would reset it so I can take it again. But didnt do so. I called again the next day to address this with her, said she would call me back. I couldnt wait any longer, I had to pay for the class again. All the back & forth trying to get an answer and taking all day delay to get back with me was frustrating. I wish Id taken my classes with Champions!!
