R Todd Fisher is an extremely rude, catty , defensive , and unprofessional barber. He didn’t ask if I wanted my brows trimmed , trimmed them with the clippers and made them look so bald , that I looked like I was sick !! I didn’t even need them trimmed! Not even an apology or anything , just was catty about . To top it all off he chargers the highest price for a haircut . I’ve gotten so much better haircuts for half the price . Would not recommend supporting this business .

I was Rudys customer for roughly two years and really appreciated the great service and professionalism. I dont keep up with the latest fashion trends, but Rudy would always walk me through what would look great and I always received compliments for my haircuts from friends and family. Unfortunately I moved out of town otherwise would keep going back to Rudy.

Its obvious from other reviews on here and on other sites that the owner is just not a decent person. The other barber that was there should run not walk from this toxic attitude.Ill say that I made a mistake when scheduling my appointment where I didnt check my phone number saved in the app which was incorrect and it led to a situation where I didnt receive texts that were meant to let me know what the process would be when I got there. When I realized what happened I apologized and let them know that I would fix it for next time.Its definitely possible the above was the reason for me being treated so poorly but after reading some other reviews I doubt it since it wasnt only me.I went in not 100% sure knowing what I wanted done and it had been awhile since I had a hair cut so I talked about what I generally went with in the past and was told We dont do that here which is fine. Ill try a different approach, I showed him a picture of a style I liked and he told me but thats not you so I just said lets go with what you think is best. Hes doing all of this in front of his coworker and another guest. At every juncture I was met with hostility and belittlement.I Honestly appreciate it when a barber really knows what they are doing and shares their opinion with you and some of the drawbacks of what you want but the delivery of that at this establishment was horrible, uncomfortable, and embarrassing. It was the worst experience Ive had at a place of business I think Ive ever had.

Loved my haircut with Todd, it was more than I was expecting

Todd and Rudy are great barbers. Ive been going to Todd for haircuts for 7+ years and Rudy for beard trims. Theyre both consummate professionals that take their craft very seriously. They regularly travel to trade shows to stay on the cutting edge of everything new in the hair game. Highly recommended!

Todd and Rudy are fantastic. They offer an incredibly relaxing experience that includes a drink of your choice, from espresso to a very smooth whisky. Not only does it feel great to spoil myself there, every time I walk out of there several people compliment my hair/beard.

For anyone with curls, this is the place to be. Rudy gave me one of the best cuts Ive ever gotten and even gave me some new tips on my hair, without shoving product I didnt want or need down my throat either. Great atmosphere, talented barbers and entertaining conversation. Highly recommend.

Beautiful yet manly classy shop. My husband loves coming here. He is always greeted in a friendly, respectful manner and the prices are reasonable. When first impressions mattered the most (our wedding, job interviews, etc) he trusted the team here at R Todd Fisher. Sergio was our go to guy but my husband will continue to come here.

A decent haircut at best. Overpriced and condescending attitude. Belittled for not knowing barber nomenclature. Had to wait EVERY appointment, he was never available at the scheduled time. Barber had the audacity to state I dont think this will work referencing my business. Was unable to deliver the haircut desired citing something about the shape of my head - translation: I dont know how to cut that style. Other barbers were able to provide the requested style no problem.There are plenty other barber shops in the vicinity that offer better haircuts, same amenities, less attitude, and cheaper price.Dont waste your time here.

Extremely professional and take their time. There is no shortage of low cost barbers in Austin but this place honestly is worth the premium. Make an appointment and get a true professional who takes their time and get the feeling they care instead of trying to rush you out for the next client. I definitely found my new barber.

My partner went in for an appointment, only to come back in tears because he had felt so uncomfortable being in this place of business.Without going into detail, the gentleman running/owning this barber shop needs to be fired or set up shop elsewhere. You DO NOT make inappropriate comments towards your clientele! Completely inexcusable.
