I moved from Chicago a couple weeks ago and would highly recommend Bell Austin Southwest. Moving across country can be rough but Whitney and Susan were so kind and helpful. They answered my questions and made me feel so welcome. I love this property. The apartment is very spacious and the community is quiet and welcoming. Moved in about one week ago to a one-bedroom unit (Hendrix floor plan). Clean, spacious, and nice interior. The community is also clean and well maintained. The move-in process was a breeze using their partner, Updater; just walked through the instructions on the web then I was done. The resident web portal makes it easy to make rent payments and add service requests online.The management is helpful, responsive, and professional. When we arrived from out-of-state, we had 4 large luggage, 2 small luggage, and one box full of stuff with no vehicle. When I asked about a dolly, the lady went out of her way and got a golf cart to help us with moving our stuff to the unit. They literally live on the property they manage. Whether that is part of the job requirement or not, that should speak volumes about the quality of the property they try to maintain.Since we booked online without visiting the property, we were a bit nervous about how this would turn out, but we love it so far. Highly recommend!

We moved into Bell Austin Southwest about a week ago, and so far we are loving it. Its a very bright and open floorplan, really spacious but still feels comfortable and homey. We moved out of our last apartment because you could hear every single movement from our neighbors, and moving into Bell, it has been so incredibly quiet, sometimes to the point where weve thought it was too good to be true. Of course it has only been a week, but if the rest of our experience is as good as this past week has been, wed recommend this community to anyone.

Bell Southwest is an outstanding place to live! We have been here over two years and have ZERO complaints. The property is well kept, the units are spacious and up-to-date, and the staff is amazing! They are always so helpful and accommodating. Whitney is the greatest and always goes above and beyond! I cant say enough great things about them!

I’ve been living here for about 2 months now, and I absolutely love the environment. The community seems so close and so nice as well. My apartment is everything I was looking for + the amenities as well. This place feels like home to me. Not only that but the maintenance and leasing office are so kind, nice and are always there to help.

Of the variety of single family homes, duplexes, and apartment complexes that Ive occupied in Austin, Bell has been by far my favorite. We lived at Bell for about two years and only left due to a major life change.Our apartment was comfortable and the amenities are all well-kept. The complex is a few years old, so we dealt with a few routine maintenance requests, but they were always handled efficiently by a group of hilarious, kind, and trustworthy workers.The best part of living here is the office staff! Through a pandemic and a horrific winter storm, they continuously amazed me. Its cliche to say they go above and beyond for their community, but its the truth.They all rock, but Whitney in particular has been a saving-grace these past few years. Not only is she a stellar assistant community manager who wants to help her residents in any way possible, but shes also a genuinely kind and compassionate individual!If youre looking to find an apartment that feels like home, I cant suggest Bell Austin Southwest enough!

I moved into a few weeks ago, and the leasing staff, especially Whitney, were great throughout the leasing and move-in process. They were super responsive and even had a welcome gift waiting in the apartment! I had a minor maintenance request, which was resolved the same day. So far its been a great place to live!

I’ve lived at the Bell since August 2019 and my experience has been great! I love how friendly the staff is, especially Whitney! She is so amazing and welcoming. The maintenance staff always goes above and beyond and you can tell how hard they work to keep the community looking beautiful and running smoothly. My work orders get done same day if not the next day. The interior of the apartments are also well kept up and look new! Overall, living here has been awesome! I feel safe, clean, and valued here!

I have lived here for over 2 years and I couldn’t have more positive things to say. It’s a small, quiet, pretty community. The staff is so nice and coordinate monthly community events to make it feel like a community, a home. We’re so close to neighborhood shopping, grocery stores, etc. You literally never have to leave 78749. The apartment itself is nice. I’ve never had any problems with anything. Such a beautiful apartment complex! The amenities are great. The gym, salt water pool, yoga room and club house are all so clean, spacious and beautiful. There are so many areas nearby to do outdoor activities such as running or going on walks. I highly recommend this area to anyone. Our one bedroom apartment was so spacious and the whole time we lived there, we never had any problems at all which is so amazing. The staff is extremely kind, always willing to help you and they make you feel so welcomed and at home. We loved it!

I appreciate the small things management has done to the grounds to keep guests happy- including expanding the dog park and adding a fountain for your pups. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking!

The staff was so communicative at the time of getting questions answered. The place is good and in a very nice area surrounded by so many parks and stores nearby! Whitney Graf assisted me during the whole ordeal and she was the best! From getting everything set up to making sure I was ready to go for move-in day.

I’ve only lived here for about 2 months, but I have nothing but good things to say! First of all, Whitney is amazing. She has been so helpful and always available to answer any questions! After I moved in, she called to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly. The complex is usually really clean and well maintained and the apartments are great. The bathtub is a game changer. I guess if I had one complaint, it would only be that my parking spot feels a little far from my apartment, and since I’m on the 3rd floor, it can be a little rough when I’ve got some groceries to bring up. Other than that, we are so happy here. My son is always saying how much he loves our new apartment!

This is my second Bell Property to be a resident with. The difference between properties is immeasurable.Cynthia was a huge help with making the move. Her patience is unmatched!Bell Austin Southwest has the quickest response time Ive ever experienced with a rental community. When Whitney picks up the phone I know Ill be taken care of. Whether is a personal request to help with printing something, or a simple maintenance request, I know Ill be listened to with patience and understanding and she puts up with my bad humor!This year has been all about transitions but the team has worked hard to continue safe alternatives to touring the property, maintenance visits and even resident events!Ive never felt more at home!We love it here!

Our little family has lived here for a little over a year, and it’s probably the most peaceful unit I’ve ever lived in. Our unit gets a great view of the sky, you can barely hear the cars on the road, never any issues with neighbors, the trash area is always kept pretty decent, they hold fun events for the community. Our favorite amenities are the pool and the volley ball court where we play in the sand. The unit itself is so spacious, we love the layout and we get plenty of light even with north facing windows.Would totally recommend to anyone.

I have lived here for six years very happily. The apartment interior is modern and looks like it’s newly built. Large oval tub. Love the washer/dryer included, too. If repairs are ever needed, maintenance is super responsive. Management is accessible and friendly, and cares about enhancing amenities. Has a resort-like feel, and I love that! The grounds feel safe/quiet, surrounded by beautiful residential neighborhoods and green-space/hiking trails. You will see occasional wildlife like raccoons, deer, armadillos and snakes (rarely) if walking your dog. That’s how close to green space we are!. Quite a few dog lovers live here, and they expanded the dog park—which is great! Community is friendly. I like that we smile and wave when we see each other. It’s a good place. Lovely lobby, study/business room, and good fitness areas. Would love the dog waste receptacles on property to have stones or mulch around them as they can get muddy in wet weather (just because so many dog owners walk there). But that’s a tiny complaint. On the whole, it’s just a great, pleasant place to live.

Updated: Whitney is awesome and found us another unit that is perfectly quiet and without upstairs neighbors. Everyone that lives here is super friendly and there is parking.----------Everything was good until the upstairs neighbors moved in. The floors are super thin and we can basically hear all walking. Had I known it would be waking me up early and happening all day due to Covid, probably wouldnt have moved here.When we exercise in our living room, it shakes the entire floor that stuff on shelves fall over and the kitchen sink jumps...and we are not big people.

The apartments + amenities top notch (hello salt water pool + spacious floorplans). Maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner and professionally done by their friendly team (Vince, Michael + Luis). All while the leasing team (Dan, Whitney and Cynthia) to be knowledgeable, compassionate and experts in the way they run the apartment complex. Bell has felt like home, and until we buy a house ourselves we have no plans on leaving.

Any time we have had a question, particularly during COVID times, they are always quick to respond. I dont imagine we will move out until we leave the city a few years down the line - this place is too good to leave!

Overall pleasant place except the breezeways outside your door that they never clean but once a year so produce smelly hallways. Prices going up more and more but manager wouldn’t budge regardless if you were a good renter. Ambulance constantly coming and going and our complaints never matter to the office for drunken neighbor. Location close to everything and friendly office girls

They are extremely well run and helpful. Every time a dishwasher goes out or some utility needs to be looked at, its usually fixed within (24) hours. Very safe and great area also - definitely worth a look in the area!

Ive lived in San Antonio my whole life and last year I decided to move to Austin. I applied around to different apartments on slaughter and the first one I applied to took over 2 months to approve me, they were underdeveloped, unprofessional and unorganized so I decided to keep looking then I found Bell Austin! I met Whitney and one thing that stuck out to me from the beginning was how the whole process was online, applying, the lease agreement (which I could review at anytime at my convenience) no other apartment complex Ive ever been to does it all online! It was so quick to get approved and Whitney and Cynthia made everything so simple (this was only my second apartment home) neighbors were quiet, and also friendly. There was never any confrontation with anyone there! An also would like to mention that I felt safe in a different city living by myself (and I am female)

When I moved in and was disappointed with the condition of my apartment, Whitney and the rest of the Bell Austin Southwest team immediately jumped into action and worked with me to get me into another unit. She was professional in all respects and gave us a very thorough explanation of all of our questions plus a guided tour of the model we were considering. I have lived here about 2 years now. It is a quiet complex that is well taken care of. Any time I had an issue, they would have it sorted within a couple days. The staff is friendly and has never made me feel unwelcome or taken advantage of. The covered spaces are a little tight, and visitor parking can be challenging if you would like a close spot (but plenty at the front of the complex).

Bell Austin Southwest has been where my family calls home for over a year, and we continue to make our home here because it checks off all the right boxes for us! Safe and secure, even in the evenings. Quiet complex for the most part, and only reasonably loud when it’s not. Neighbors are kind and polite, friendly conversations seem to be available if an effort is made. The dog park seems to give residents a great chance to meet up outdoors in safe open-air. But the part I love the most about living at Bell Austin Southwest is the staff. Really. Our property management staff is warm, genuine, helpful, and reasonable. When a letter was mistakenly put on our front door, our property manager took the time to call, just to say don’t freak out, everything is ok. That is what I call old school customer service, and it is consistently how I’ve been treated here. Our maintenance staff are solid individuals, who are competent and professional. The few times our unit has needed maintenance, our requests were taken care of the very same day; the only exception being when parts had to be ordered, but even then, the maintenance staff took the time to communicate the timeline and keep it all updated. We get amazing sunsets here, as well as sunrises, so be sure to check out what direction your future patio will look out towards. What makes this even better? Location! Multiple restaurants within easy walking distance, local businesses such as JuiceLand, three HEBs less than five minutes away, super fast access to northbound MoPac Expressway, and five minutes access to I-35. Quick access also heading west to Dripping Springs / Kerrville/ Texas Hill Country, or out to the south shore water of Lake Travis. It’s genuinely a dream location. If you like to bike, hike, run or jog, multiple greenbelts park areas are nearby. If Bell Austin Southwest can do anything to make your life better as their resident, it has been our experience that they will! Five stars!

I lived here from September 2016-September 2018, and wouldnt have left if I hadnt decided to move to Chicago. This is the best apartment I have ever lived in and I wish Bell had properties in Chicago. I apparently left before a management change, but the staff I interacted with while living there were very nice and helpful. The amenities are great, the apartment is well built, units come with covered parking. You cant ask for much better. Really dont understand how this place has such a low rating.

Immediately fell in love with my apt. There is plenty of storage, cabinet & closet space. The tall ceilings allow for added lighting making it feel more homey too. Each unit has covered a parking space near by which comes in handy.The gyms on the propriety are well kept, and divided into groups. There is a weight area including a smith rack, a cardio area, and a HITT & yoga area. The property offers a volleyball court & pool with outside grills & an indoor resident lounge.The office staff & Maintence goes beyond helping making the experience living here seamless & easy. When I moved in I adored the welcome gift awaiting me on the counter. All of the staff have been kind and helpful.If I could give 6 stars I would, honestly.

I lived in Bell Austin Southwest for three years, from 2017-2020, only leaving because I moved out of state for work. I rented the smallest 1/1, called the Dylan. My unit had plank flooring in the common areas, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and the slick top stove, as well as a w/d in the unit.This is probably the nicest apartment complex I have ever lived in. Great value for the $, close to MoPac, within walking distance of grocery and restaurants. Staff was always friendly, too.Maintenance was always pretty quick to respond, and they maintained the community well. The maintenance crew LOVED my dog, too!If there was one gripe about the complex its that there is only one entrance/exit to the community, and its a shared entrance with the church next door. Since the church allows students from the neighboring high school to park in their lot, at certain times of day when school gets out it can get a little crazy trying to get out of the community, as all the students are leaving at once. But I wouldnt let that deter you from moving in.

Hopefully At this point, they’ve gotten better outdoor pest control. We used to dodge massive poisonous caterpillars and blister beetles towards the spring and summer. Other than that, the apartments are super peaceful noise wise and the views are pretty amazing. The apartments are also overpriced. The office people that I met when I was moving out were actually really nice compared to the last lady, she was rude. I lived there for two years and had to go reflect on my old home.

Since I moved I had nothing but the best experience with Bell Austin Southwest. I love my place; i got the Joplin (1 bedroom plus a Den) perfect for me and my puppy Daisy. Any time i send an order for any reason which is minor they take care immediately, that makes me feel very satisfied, they change your filter every month when you send a request. Safe, quiet, friendly good neighbors & I love my cover parking space included, couldn’t get that at Camden which i was undecided but this was the BEST!!!. I love my place on first floor plus i rented a garage too! Do i RECOMMEND this PLACE? Absolutely YES!!!! I have my best friend moving in by July or June as soon as one comes available. If i had to choose again i would choose BELL AUSTIN SOUTHWEST APTS.

The property is very clean, safe and has really nice amenities to offer their residents. Dont even apply to this complex.Bell Austin Southwest Charges $200 per applicant just to apply. When your application fee gets rejected by their bank, they turn around and charge you $75 dollars calling it a non-sufficient funds transaction. Their community Manager Rhonda, went out of her way to lie to her supervisor, is almost completely unresponsive, she will take any money you owe them directly to a collection agency. Its just too bad that a mega-corp like Bell is nickel and diming individuals who tried to do the right thing the first time. Im extremely glad that I found a truly Hassle Free Living environment down the street with Camden.I was ready to sign a lease here, didnt hear back from Rhonda for more than three days, and was more than happy to go with another option. Its just kind of alarming that a business cant handle themselves, notify you when something is wrong, or even be honest with you when it comes down to it.Keep in mind, they dont even let you see reviews on their website. Just a dead link, because they figure that most people will just apply. Dont do it, and dont expect them to fix the issue at hand.FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE AND FORGET EVEN APPLYING TO THIS PLACE.

Ive lived here for almost a year and honestly had a great experience. We have a spacious 2 bedroom with 2 adults and a young child. Its a very pet friendly community, which is important to us as we have 2 big dogs. The dog park is a decent size to take your dog for a bit and then head on a walk with them in the neighborhood behind the complex. The pool/hot tub area is nice, it can get a little hectic on the weekends but thats expected. The gym has all the equipment I need and is well maintained. Sometimes parking can be difficult later in the evening but really, thats at any apartment. There are some comments about how this complex doesnt have a gate - while I would prefer it be gated, I havent had any safety issues so it hasnt been a problem during my year here. This place is very safe - I always have items delivered to my home and havent had any issues. Overall, Id recommend renting here.

Out of the three apartment homes Ive lived in here, this is the best by a long shot. Its probably not for everybody (is any place for everybody, honestly?), but for working class people with high-stress jobs who dont want the added stress of a noisy home environment, this fits the bill nicely. Obnoxious students partying it up at drunk oclock dont have a presence here, and though you can hear some loud neighbor footfalls from time to time, that just seems to be par for the course with apartments these days.Overall theres a good, friendly feel to the place: the office staff have been sweet and accommodating so far, you can see lots of dogs and kids happily playing in the grassy field on the east side of the complex, that sort of thing.Residents get a personal car port, which is blessing in this town: at my previous place, if I made the mistake of leaving the complex for 5 minutes to get a snack or something, my spot would immediately be taken. Each of the units has washer / dryer on site, nice hardwood floors in the dining / living area, and kitchen appliances / fixtures nice enough that Im not immediately thinking how can I improve on this somehow...The location is also very convenient compared with my previous home. So many apartment homes here spring up across the street from a local tech company, and arent within a mile of any other amenities. Here, on the other hand, I can *walk* to Randalls and CVS in under 10 minutes, or drive to a barbershop / dry cleaner / local restaurant in 5 minutes.

DO NOT LEASE HERE. My wife and I leased at Bell Austin Southwest in June of 2016. It was awesome! The salt water pool was nice, management was cool and available. There were lots of events for residents with free food and fun activities...Then...it happened. The dreaded switch in management. We met the new manager one day and saw right behind that fake smile. Bell management is now unresponsive and unprofessional. They close the pool for no reason. They hate kids so if you have kids do not move here. To live this far south, youre wasting your money on an apartment complex that isnt that great for the money.This place is not worth the money it costs.

These apartments have 1 and 2 bedrooms with a musician theme. It’s s quiet community. In a good location and great maintenance service. This community has surrounding growth of restaurants, and a nearby hike and bike trail.

Thank you.Same thing that happened to Ben happened to me...management used to be super nice and accommodating, but now they are rude and impatient. We were notified via a flyer taped on our door that the online payment system would be down and were unable to pay rent. Was then charged a late fee plus additional $10/day fees because of this. Their email said we would be notified when the system was back up, but we were not. When I called to complain, first thing Rhonda said to me was, Did you not read your lease agreement where the rent is due on the 1st of the month? Seriously how rude and I couldnt pay my rent since the system was down. I was told that she would look into it and follow up, but never heard back from her. Then, my sister came to visit and we followed the protocol of sending an email for a key to be released to her when she arrived. When she went in the office and followed the assistant back to get the key, Rhonda yelled at her and told her to stay back. At this point, I dont even like to go in the office to get packages that are delivered there for me because everyone is so rude and you have to stand there waiting for someone to notice you. Gym equipment is almost always broken, TVs on the equipment dont work, water machine is consistently empty, pool is often closed. Maintenance is fast and efficient and the apartments are cute, but the management has really made this a bad experience for me.

The facility used to be perfect till the owners started remodeling 2.5 months ago. The amenities have been unavailable for these two months after repeated promises to complete the project we are now being told they need more time to complete. This is unacceptable! No gym and no access to the pool yet we the tenants are paying for amenities we have no access to! Fix the problems sooner rather than later!

Beautifully maintained. Prompt, professional management and maintenance team. Robert, Rhonda and Jeffrey are outstanding. Wonderful neighborhood feel.

Noisy neighbors above, hot tub very frequently down for maintenance, poor excuse for a pet park. I liked the music room/gym/yoga studio, management always responded promptly, and decently sized apartment. WAY overpriced though. Definitely not worth what we paid.Oh, and there is a school nearby, so dont expect to get anywhere quickly around 3pm during the school year.

Love living in this neighborhood. Convenient location, quiet and well-managed complex and very responsive staff. And, the salt water pool and hot tub make this a great choice!

I lived in this place for 11 months (Aug 2016 - June 2017). This was my first place in Austin and I did like it! It is a good place to call home.PROS:-nice territory;-friendly staff (especially Kristin!);-good value;-hot tub;-clubhouse (with grill!) is opened till 10pm (and you can stay even longer), not like in other apartment complexes (only during business hours);-free coffee, billiards, some board games, even arcade machine!;-free yoga;-musical room;-our apartment was really nice and cosy. All kitchen stuff was new and good. Great floor plan (The Dylan). I compared it with many other apartments and can say firmly, that it is nicely build.-I got almost all money from my deposit (I know in some places it can be a problem);-maintenance staff was good;-NO valet trash. This is IMO, but please, save the money and dont be lazy =).CONS:-not gated entry (not critical imo);-some things (lights near pool, grills) were broken and staff did nothing for a long time with it;-sound insulation between floors is not very good. However, I think it is a common thing for many modern apartments.

Bell Austin Southwest is an amazing community with not just wonderful staff, but amazing amenities. My favorite is our salt water pool! The management and staff will treat you like family and help you out as much as they can.

New management. Not great so far. They changed the rent payment system and didnt tell anyone how to login. Then they proceeded to give everyone $100 late payments plus $10 for every day we remained clueless. They are not willing to waive the fees or own up to how they screwed up. Ill update my review if they make it right. Otherwise you might want to stay away.

It was good at first with friendly staff and quiet. They then filled to 95% occupancy and things went downhill from there. My car got sideswiped in the middle of the night, broken in to, towed even being in a legal spot, and the air let out of my tire. Also my packages got stolen from my doorstep. Im pretty sure it was kids that went to the high school next door because I a lot of them lived there. All these events happened within a 3 month span of the apartment growing its occupancy. It was really unfortunate because I loved living here at first but it was awful towards the end and very expensive.

Very bad management. They get their prices messed up. They seem not to provide proper training to their employees. It used to be great, no more.

Unfortunately, I havent had great customer service from all of the staff often feeling targeted based on skin color and finances.My guest (this Including my three 3 year old God daughter being called a Ni**er at the pool) and myself have been harassed, disrespected, and discriminated against several times by my neighbors and peers.I have had incidents where I am in my driveway, in my car with the door closed and my window up having a private moment with my fiancé where I am asked if I live here to which I replied Yes. Then told, okay, I was just making sure. I am apart of neighborhood watch just trying to keep everyone safe. I have had neighbors sitting at the bottom of the stairs directly next to my apartment refuse to scoot over so that I can take the trash out because they believe I should be able to Channel my inner Harriet Tubman and find a way. --these are not even half of the things I have experienced since living here! Just three incidents that stuck out the most.Needless to say In the last week I have had three other negative experiences at the complex. I have spoken to one of the apartment staff members about the discrimination I am receiving and have received and in response, I have not seen any action from the complex meaning I have not received and mass email about the apartments zero tolerance for discrimination nor have i received a call from management apologizing for my experience or anything that would make me second guess staying or giving this place a recommendation to my fellow peers.Update:I sent an email to the staff letting them know I would not be renewing the lease and expressing why (everything I said above was in the email) and in response I got a preliminary inspection email.back no call no nothing guess its safe to say that all they care about here is your $1-2K rent payments.

DONT LIVE HERE !!WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX IVE EVER STAYED IN!!NEIGHBORS ARE RACIST AND NONSOCIALABLE AND RUDE!! THE APARTMENT COMPLEX STAFF DOESNT CARE FOR COMPLAINTS OR CONCERNS!!EXCEPT FOR KRISTEN SHES WAS VERY NICE. SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE MOVED OUT DUE TO SUCH RUDENESS. BE CAUTIOUS!
