I was able to make an appointment + be seen the very next day. They took me back incredibly fast! The x-rays were done with state of the art equipment and with ease. The hygienist did her overview and Dr. Thomas came in moments later. I was in/out very quick. The team was organized, friendly and professional + the office was extremely clean. I need a ton of work done, but feel in very great hands. Would absolutely recommend!

Delightful staff, conscientious about billing, they have reliable notification systems to help you keep/reschedule your appointments, modern facilities, and very accommodating in terms of helping you understand insurance coverage. However, the best thing I like about East West Family Dental is that they are respectful of your time. If you have something of concern, theyre going to take the necessary time to talk with you about it. Otherwise come in- get your treatments done and youre on your way! Just cool people!

Dr Thomas and her staff were all awesome. The entire staff was very professional and knowledgeable of each other’s positions which allowed the business to function like a well oiled machine. DO NOT use this office...they charge for things they are NOT ALLOWED to charge for...if you need your xrays sent somewhere else THEY charge you after they have already been paid for once. My health records are exactly that ...MY HEALTH RECORDS...I have ever right to them and they can not hold them hostage by demanding payment for something that has already been paid for once. This will be reported to the appropriate people!!!Thanks for your response but I could prove this and you are now in HiPPA violation by trying to state I am not a patient. So be careful or you will hear from my attorney.

Dr. Thomas and her staff is absolutely amazing! Everyone was very polite and made me and my son feel very comfortable! Dr. Thomas was very informative and she used different xrays and pictures to show my son and I teeth and gums. She took her time with all my questions and helped me understand how to care for our teeth at home.Most importantly Dr. Thomas and Christine, her hygienist, were so patient dealing with me and my super sensitive gums. I have a very low tolerance for pain, and they were very caring through it all and tried their best to keep me comfortable. I have never experienced such great care from a dentist nor hygienist.Im very thankful for them!

Today was my 1st visit and I was very impressed. The offices uses the most up-to-date technology/tools and I enjoyed the way they went over the x-rays with me to show the deficiencies my teeth had. The receptionist is very professional she gives your printed out treatment plan prior to you leaving the office. I had a wonderful experience during my visit at East- West Family Dental! I scheduled my appointment during my lunch break and I was able to get in, get the service I needed, and return to work on time! Based on my last two visits to this location, I have been quite pleased. I normally have a certain level of hesitation to go to the dentist (even though I know its a necessity) but the experience here has been easy going. What really stood out to me was the professionalism and expertise from Terrance and Cristin. They took care of me and answered any questions I may have had. They went above and beyond when it came to explaining what I needed to improve on when it came to my dental hygiene. I believe I may have found a new dental home and I am relieved!

I was excited about supporting a dentist owned by a Black woman. After meeting the owner, I was disappointed by her poor beside manner. She failed to make me feel comfortable and made a joke about my weight. I will never return this office.

Suddenly I found myself needing emergency dental treatment. I went to a couple of local dentists, that either I didnt feel comfortable with, or they spent more time trying to get me to agree to expensive add on services. Dr. Tia Thomas was recommended to me by a couple of friends. Problem, I live in Lake County Fl. After reaching out for a consult, I sent my dental x-rays to her office. I flew in from Orlando, Fl, went directly to her office. The office is very nice, and comfortable, and all staff were very friendly and professional. A treatment plan, affordable I might add, was developed for me. I was amazed at some of the procedures and equipment that were being used. The staff and Dr.Thomas took the time to explain every detail to me. I couldnt believe that I felt no pain, no swelling. I was able to fly back home smiling like I had just won the lottery. I was showing my beautiful smile again, better than before. I will be flying back for follow-up. The whole experience was worth it. I told Dr. Thomas if I werent able to fly back, I would hitch hike. Imagine, going to the dentist and being able to consider it a BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!

I scheduled a cleaning six months ago for October 8, 2019. First of all, they sent the appointment reminder via email to my husband on September 25, 2019. He didnt have the appointment; I did. Last week, they sent a text message to my husband indicating that they had a last minute appointment available. I told him to decline because I had an appointment for October 8th. Still no email or text to me and Im the one with the appointment. Today, they call my husband about scheduling an appointment. He said he thought nothing of it because I had an appointment for today. I call to the office when Im on the way to the appointment to see why they called my husband and the woman at the front desk tells me I dont have an appointment for today. I explain that my husband received an email indicating the appointment date on September. The woman proceeds to tell me that it isnt in the system. I tell her that I dont understand why not when this appointment was made six months in advance. Then, she asks was I going to cancel for today. I tell her I was not going to cancel, I simply wanted to know the purpose of the phone call. She tells me again that I dont have an appointment for today. I kindly let her know to cancel all future appointments for husband and myself. They tried to call me twice afterwards. I declined both calls. If this were the last dentist on this earth, I would pull all of my teeth before I would go to them. They are incompetent and unprofessional. Go to another dentist!

I don’t recommend this office. They took my money, knowing they would not do the procedure that my son needed. After they had my money, I was told the doctor doesn’t know how to put a spacer in. I could tell by the face of the receptionist, that the doctor did not want to do it. I have never been treated so badly in my life. I felt discriminated in this office.

Its a New Year and I have new insurance, so I was searching for a new dentist near my home. Luckily I found East West Family Dental in Austell. The staff provided excellent service. Dr. Thomas is very nice and very professional but some of the front desk staff could work on their customer service skills. Every experience I have had with the front desk ends with me being made aware of a huge payment that is expected. I would have liked to be made know this before I come to the appointment. This would have allowed me to be prepared or reschedule until I get the payment that is requested. I show up and then I am told I have this payment that I was not prepared to pay. I asked if I could make a payment arrangement and I was told no I had to pay a certain amount before any services could be given. I do have dental insurance . After investigating my dental insurance the dental billing was coded incorrect. I guess that would explain why my out of pocket was so expensive. I am not happy about the customer service it needs to be more customer friendly. I left feeling like my dental needs were not met and the work needed not completed.
