Mike and his crew were courteous and worked efficiently to get the job done in one day - as promised. Not only was the job done in a timely manner, they went above and beyond to make sure that everything was cleaned up nicely.

Found Mike through our local Facebook group. He came out and gave us a free inspection after the recent hail. Great guy, honest , and came same day to do the inspection. Roof was in great shape, but he did take the time to take some pictures of a hole left in the roof by the builder (probably cut for a vent that didnt end up going there). Would definitely use Mike and Awalt Construction should we need a re-roof at any point.

We found Mike Awalt through Next Door and was highly recommended. We hired him to review work that was done by another contractor. Mike was very thorough, knowledgeable and honest. He took time from his weekend to sit an answer questions we had regarding the other contractor an his contract. His final report was very detailed an well written, along with pictures to show what we are looking at and problems that were found. After a hail and wind storm damaged my home, Awalt inspected my roof an advised me on filing an insurance claim due to the damage. After getting the insurance company approval for the damage Steve walked me through everything they would be looking at during repairs. Awalt was able to schedule replacement and complete 2000+ sq ft of roofing in 2 days. They checked in regularly to ensure everything was going okay and when another storm hit a short time after the roof was finished and did additional damage, Awalt scheduled repairs and fixed the damage. Thanks Awalt Construction for taking care of everything.

Very professional people. They showed up when the people from my insurance company came to look at my house and went over every nook and cranny to make sure the adjuster didn’t miss any damage. Highly recommend them!

Mike is not honest and has told one to many lies. He promised to have my roof done in June after the big hail storm and he did not have it completed to the last week of July. He new I was selling my house and kept making promises to string me along. He also said he would have his window and AC guy out ASAP to have them repaired however after 4 weeks of waiting for him and hearing all of his excuses, I decided to go with other companies. After, I had a buyer for my property, I learned he had not fix a pipe on my roof in which the inspector said it would allow water to enter my house and damage my interior. I called Mike immediately and told him to have it fixed, once again he told lies that he thought his guy had came out to the house and fixed it however a couple of weeks earlier he called to say he was all done and wanted his remaining payment. The buyers backed out of the contract due to the roof and their concern about the pipe not being closed off and there could be water damage. He still has not fixed the problem and states that he was told he guy could not go onto the roof and fix the problem by someone living there. My house is empty and is still up for sell, once again another lie. Be cautious when hiring Mike, he is not truthful and does not finish the job. written by Lisa Nguyen

We were very nervous about dealing with our insurance company after the hailstorm & Mike talked us through the process step by step & made sure we understood everything. His communication was on point & our home was completed in a timely manner. The house looks better than before the storm! Had an amazing experience with these guys. After the wind storm did damage to my home Mike came out and inspected my roof an help me file a insurance claim. After getting AMFAM to pay for all the damage he had his crews install my roof. Mike was at the job site all day making sure everything was installed right.
