This company loves to waste money on marketing. Because they send me monthly fliers, I decided to call them to perform an estimate on 6 trees. They responded saying that someone would be in contact with me. That was over a week ago. Why spend the money sending out monthly mailers if you are going to ignore potential customers?

Excellent work, great staff, very knowledgeable and professional. The owner, Eric, gave me great analysis and advice after reviewing concerns for multiple trees on my property. Great guy. For a storm damaged 11,000 lb tree leaning towards my house, they gave me a quote at 1pm and had it down by 6pm! Amazing work and the price was much better than my other quote. Their crane is massive and made easy work of the job. For work like this you need a lot of trust in your contractor, and I cant recommend these guys enough.

Fast and efficient from start to finish. I got a quote within a day or two of calling, and they had the work completed promptly. You wouldn’t even know anybody took trees down because you can’t see their tracks throughout the yard- big bonus here!! Highly recommend.

I hired Mr. Falls to trim some trees and to remove a few dead and leaning trees that were too close to my home. They arrived on time and on the day we agreed upon, even though it was cold and there was still snow on the ground. They did an excellent job. I was told they would come back after the snow melted to finish the clean up and I was skeptical. But they did! And to my surprise, every branch, stick and limb were gone. My yard looks like a golf course. I highly recommend Mr. Falls, and I appreciate their integrity and work ethic.

As a green industry professional, I would NEVER recommend using Falls Tree. This is nothing against their operations or the actual quality from the tree crews. There is a review of their management team and lack thereof. I was provided an estimate in the Spring of 2020 and called mid-summer to move forward with the proposal. I gave Falls an opportunity to re-estimate the project as the trees were completely green by Summer. They confirmed that the original quote was still valid and we agreed to be added onto the schedule. The day the tree crews showed up to perform the work, they did not have the correct equipment to do the job. The original estimator for the project showed up and shared that they no longer want to perform the work because he underbid the project. This was the same estimator from the Spring. In addition, to admitting he underbid the work, he also tried to explain that my trees were healthy and that removal was not necessary. In my professional landscaping career, I have never returned to a customer and backed out of a project nor have I asked for money to do a job. I escalated this issue to their management team and never once did I receive a call back or an email response to my issue, despite being told from their office that they would respond to me. This is a company, undoubtedly, I would stay clear from. Feel free to reach out to me, I have much better recommendations for tree professionals in our area.

I’m assuming those with a good experience went directly through them. If you go through first energy and they line you up with Mr. Falls, kindly decline and tell them to find another contractor. Timeliness aside, forget calling for any update, they don’t have one and they won’t have one. Once the job was finally complete almost 6 weeks later than originally told, you need to factor in time to clean up your own lawn since cleanup is no priority of theirs. Once I got done cleaning up after 2 different crews had come out since the original one didn’t even have the correct equipment to complete the job, I thought I was in the clear and waiting for stumps to be done. About a week later I notice a 15’ branch hanging and browning out, it had been snapped by the second crew that came and left for me to have to go through the headache of their top notch customer service line. Stump crew finally came, to my surprise cleanup is still no priority. I have wood chips all over my deck, air conditioner and all through my landscaping. At this point in the year, sure landscaping isn’t spotless and as perfect as June, however I didn’t ask for it to be filled with wood chips. My honest thoughts based on other reviews, give them a try directly. If it’s through first energy just forget about it because they don’t care at any step of the way. Really hope First Energy will choose to save face and drop them as a contractor for these particular services.

This company does poor business. I received an estimate on a small job on October 1, 2020. It is now February 3, 2021 this company has not did the work. They told me they would cancel the service after months of waiting. This company does not treat customers fair. It appears since I had a small job I did not meet their criteria. This is not professional.

Poor service a year ago from Falls Tree. Drove their machine through clearly planted new grass and through a new evergreen tree planted the fall before breaking branches and crushing the root ball. That tree is now dying. To top it off we paid their invoice timely and yet they tried to collect from my wife again almost a year later.

Mr. John Arnold showed up with his crew today. They were very professional with tons of equipment and did an excellent job in a very short time. Im very pleased and will definitely use them again. The prices were very competitive and Travis was out to do the estimate quickly.

No one even came for estimate, but sending me proposal for $1,555.13 for tree removal.. didnt even see this tree, its small one lol, already cut it for $200What kind of business are u.

First time I have used Falls Tree and I was impressed by their commitment to doing their job right and cleaning up all branches and waste. The workers were friendly but kept to their work. I would definitely use them any time

I spoke with Will over the phone when initially called. He was very polite and stated he would be out to give a quote for a tree I needed cut down. He was here within a couple days which was quick to compared to a lot in the business. The price he quoted me was literally thousands cheaper than three other companies. When I called back a few days later to confirm that I liked the price and wanted to schedule a time, he asked when would be the best time, and I stated that the sooner the better. He had a crew here in two days to take care of the tree. John Arnold was the foreman that came out. Extremely respectful guy. Very polite and their work was awesome. The cleaned up well and made sure everything was to my standard. Will absolutely go with this company again.

Did a great job! Reasonable price and efficient work. Were able to treat our living ash tree and save it! John and his crew left our yard in tip top shape when they left.

6/19/2020 John and crew had 2 trees to remove but they handled it with ease and no stress! Highly recommend this company!!!Update 8/1/2020 still waiting for them to fill some holes made by the tree drop. They did say they would repair damage. Lowered the rating because it’s impossible to reach anyone.

I had two trees removed yesterday. First I must say that I was incredibly impressed with the care they showed for our property.They took great care to not damage anything. This is a First Class Company! From start to finish, these guys are on it!! They all show up at the same time; guys unloading stuff from one truck, others unloading the other. They were EXTREMELY nice and made the usual small talk, hello, how ya doing, this is the tree?? And they went immediately to work. These guys are extremely organized. One is cutting, others are cleaning, one is hauling debris off as it is prepared, one is resharpening chain saw blades. I have never seen such an organized display of working and cleaning as you go. They fell two trees, both close to 80 high and I cannot say enough good things about the work they did. If I ever need any more trees done EVER, I will not use anyone else, I dont care the difference in cost. I know with Falls it will be done right and I trust I wont have to double check a thing.

Came out to do some injections on my ash and elm trees. Very timely and professional. A hard combination to find anymore. Great job.Update. Asked for an estimate on another job. Said they would come out and never showed up. Guess they aren’t any different than anybody else.

A nice guy came to offer the quote, but they never were able to actually schedule me as they prioritized work out of state. Communication was challenging and frustrating too. I am glad they are not doing my work as it seems like they are overbooked and may have rushed my works.

Contracted Falls in late May, 2020 to have a pine removed in my backyard. After five months of waiting, calling, and emailing I’ve decided to make a few remarks regarding my experience with Falls Tree. I see that my experience is not unusual, if you’re thinking of hiring this company please read my review to get a sense of how Mr Falls Tree Service operates.Their original quote was less than the other contractors I called-that should have been my first sign, but the price, plus their professional looking trucks and reassurances that they could get the job done sold my partner and I. We asked them to do the job, and they showed up on June 2nd while I was at work. They left without doing a speck of work, telling my partner (I was at work) that “they didn’t bring the proper equipment,” and that “we’ll be back soon.” I called and left a message that evening to get clarification on the situation, but didn’t get a call back. Red Flag number 2!After waiting another few weeks, I called Falls Tree on July 7th to ask what the hold up was. The girl who answered was nice enough, she told me “We’ve just been so busy this year, you’re still on the list but I’m not sure when we will do it.” Again, she seemed genuine so I decided again to wait. I see Mr Falls trucks within two miles of my house, their signs up in yards within walking distance of me, but still no call and no crew to do my job.August, I call again. “We’ve just been so busy...”Late August, I call...”We’ve just been so busy...” I ask the girl if they’re actually going to come out or if they’re just avoiding me. She assured me that they were not,September 8th, I email the company and use their website contact form in an attempt to reach someone who may give me more insight as to if/when the work might be done. As of today, 10/15, I’ve not received a response.I called the office today and left a message. After thinking for a while, I’ve decided that they aren’t going to come. My suspicion is that they underestimated the work, and aren’t professional enough to admit it to me. A local kid bid $300 more than Mr Falls, and I should have just went with him.Ive done landscaping and tree removal. I know things get busy, jobs take longer etc. but to ignore a customer, refuse to contact them, and abandon a job is just unprofessional and a reflection of the quality of work you can expect from that company. Dealing with Mr Falls has been nothing but a nightmare , and I won’t recommend them to anyone.

This company is bad went thru illuminating company to get tree service to remove tree ... these guys do a shyt job in a hurry and dont clean up their mess... then ask if its okay to leave... stumps,branches, and basically whole tree was left on front lawn because they failed to do their job again and have necessary equipment to succeed in the first place ... we need a second crew to come out tomorrow or Monday to clean up our mess, our shyt job, because we in a hurry to get of here... please please please do yourself a favor turn this company down and stay very far away from

Mr Falls Tree Experts did a great job taking down our 105 Oak tree from a difficult area to reach with large equipment. They also worked us into their busy schedule within a week of our first contact.

We had Doug, John and Charlie and they did a great job! Cleaned up everything after a big job, have used them before for a big job and would use again. Highly recommend!

I needed to have 2 trees cut down. So I decided to go through my electric company so I could make payments every month. My electric company contacted mr falls and had them come out to give me a quote on July 9th. The gentleman came out snd gave a quote and it unfortunately was a payment something I could not afford. He asked if I had any money to put down that could lower the payment. I said yes. I went can got a thousand dollars out of the bank and gave it to the gentleman which he wrote on the paper I gave him and what my new quote would be snd monthly payment would be. I asked how long it would be before I could have the trees removed and he stated they were booking for about 3 weeks out. Which I didnt think was that bad with it being summer. I waited a few weeks and still had not heard anything so I called and i was told somebody would call me back to schedule as they were busy. I called back again in 2 weeks after that cause i still had not heard anything and when I called I was told the individual who does the scheduling and they would call me back. Which nobody ever called me back. My electric company has also reached out to them several times in the last two months as well and they have never gotten a response as well. So after two months of waiting and no call back I called again and stated that I no longer want service and I want my money back. When I asked for my money back they are saying they have no record of my eber putting money down. I sent them through email my receipt and the gentlemans card that was given. And I have still cant get anybody to call me back about refunding my money. So I now have two trees that were never removed and I am also out thoudand dollars. Would like to add they finally returned my money the first part of October.

I had a fairly large tree removal job and received some large quotes with a long lead times to get the work completed. I decided to give Mr. Falls a call and get a price from them. They were $1700 less than the other companies and were able to complete the job within a week! The work was completed professionally and they did exactly what they said they would do. I highly recommend Mr. Falls Tree Experts.

We were very impressed with the salesman who gave us an estimate for the tree work we wanted done. He made recommendations and helped us understand some of the issues we were facing. The workers were cordial, efficient and very knowledgeable about their work . They cleaned up the debris so well we almost couldnt tell they were here. I would give them six stars if it were an option.

Will not call me back regarding an issue I had with a representative that came to my home. I gave them weeks to call me back prior to these remarks.

I discovered this company a few years ago when I had to remove a large tree. A called 3 companies for estimates. Falls came in with the lowest price (less than half of the other two) and faster service (a week and a half rather than months wait.) They did the job very well and left the site clean. Since then I have used this company several times for my home and rental properties. They are always very fast, friendly and very professional.

Their quality of work was good, but their responsiveness was terrible. I lost track of how many time they said they would be out that week. I had given up that they would ever come out and then one day they showed up without any notice after we had done the work ourselves.

Was told it would look like a tree was never there. A pile of tree bark is sitting in my yard. Called a week ago And no response after talking with receptionist

We had a very intriguing problem with a few trees in our backyard that were in need of some serious attention. We contacted several companies and one of them was The Falls Group. Keep in mind this was a very hard to access area and we had just spent a ton on new landscaping and deck work. Most companies said it was way out of their scope of abilities. Eric from Falls came out and accessed the situation. He assured us he was one of the few people that had the right equipment in the area. After checking his references we proceeded with the work. This tree was over 150ft. Tall up against our house. Eric and his crew meticulously pieced the tree down and craned the pieces over the house. His men left our yard immaculate! We can not thank them enough and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Falls Tree Service shows up when they say they will, does the job for the price quoted (very competitive) and cleans up after the job is done. I recommend them to others without hesitation. They have done 3 different jobs for me and I am quite satisfied.

Called Mr. Falls Tree Experts for an estimate. They promptly came out for an estimate and I gave them approval to start the work. They said theyd get to it in about two weeks....six weeks later, no one has come out to trim the trees. Ive called 3x just to get a status update and they always say theyll call back. Ive never received a call back. At least call back like you say you will. After getting someone on the phone a 4th time and still no timeframe on tree work, I just cancelled. Not good customer service.

I had several trees and bushes cut down and removed from my property recently. They did an excellent job and were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them!

They did good work with the trees ...... But ! ...one of the trees we cut down was close to my property line .... my neighbor came out and told them not to cut it, it was in fact on his property ....instead of coming to me and and letting my neighbor and I discuss it the guy told my neighbor “he had a contract to cut the tree” and went on the cut it then and there .... only notifying me after the fact. Not professional behavior and leaving me with a justifiably upset neighbor !

They completely destroyed my mother in laws front sidewalk by dropping a huge tree on it. Promised to fix, never came back and wont return her call. Now shes responsible for the repairs. The city wants fixed now. She is elderly and on a fixed income. Terrible service!

DO NOT USE. These guys came to give quote then a few days later showed up while we were still waiting to hear from other tree services and cut the trees down without us telling them to do so or signing anything. Their quote ended up being almost double the price of other service. They also damaged my neighbors landscaping which we had to pay to fix. Several times the big branches they were cutting fell on the house, one poked a hole in our gutter shield and bent the gutter which we had to pay to fix too.

WOW. They cant keep an appointment (twice) and then cop an attitude when you respectfully ask for an updated timeline. VERY disappointing.
