Earlier this week me and husband went to the Indian trail location to do a title for our vehicle. We where quickly informed that we needed temporary plates which we agreed with, to be told that they didn’t know how to do them for us to go to the other pls location ...... Aren’t both locations trained equally? Went to the one by the bakery and was told the same about temporary plates and they did them right away...... 5 ⭐️ service! The other location should learn from them!

I bought a $100 dollar money order which i did not have to use. So i brought it back along with my receipt and was told that they have to treat it like i was cashing a check. What?? And to do that they charged me $2.00. I should have just drove to my bank and deposited into my checking account. Oh well, live and learn. Will not be making that mistake ever again or even step foot into a PLS ever again.

The reviews are correct, this establishment is terrible. The CS reps are careless and dont do a good job with any of the services provided. Its a highly inconvenient process even just to cash a payroll check. Avoid wasting your time, if the CS reps are tired or feeling lazy they will do any and everything possible not to assist customers. They will make up excuses, save the gas and choose a more reputable check cashing store or bank.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.First of all they have BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!Secondly they do everything wrong!!!It’s been more than once they make a mistake on our car titles/plates and they make us waste time to go to them to fix it when it’s not our problem. I wouldn’t waste my time going here!!! For sure we won’t be coming back here.

I’d like to know why they always have 2 windows open???? Can we hire some more people, so the wait isn’t 30 mins? Oh and it’d be helpful to hire bilingual people so we’re not sitting there for an additional 30 mins for people that don’t speak English! Moral of the review - SLOWEST PLS IN AURORA. Thx!

Coming here for money orders? Don’t waste your time. They will charge you a $26.00 fee if you use a debt card only that’s if you can get them to do it. Avoid the drama, Just go to Walmart only 73 cents. If they can try to take advantage of me they will do it to you. Stay away....

Worst place to go to! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! They take so long its ridiculous. I waited about 45 mins & there was 4 employees there. 2 were just talking to each other, one was flirting with 2 male customers & the other one looked high. Joke of a staff.

Melani definitely didnt seem like she wanted to be at work. 1st off her appearance was not professional at all. 2nd there was nothing friendly about her demeanor. She kept walking away from the window without explaining to customers what she was doing. Never greeted anyone, nor did she wish them a good day.

Employees here are LESS EDUCATED THAN WALMART GREETERS!!! Tried to cash a payroll check on the weekend when my bank was closed. When she saw the amount I hear her say it must be a whole bunch of back pay .... lol, it one regular paycheck. Next, she wanted to the owner of the company to verify the check. This check was from a multi-million dollar company... do I explain to her that its owned by multiple other companies who are investors, some angel investors, and members of the board? Do I teach her that companies have a finance department which has departments like accounting and accounts payable and these are the people who would verify a check? I honestly started to feel bad when she thought the email from the accounting manager was from me because it had my name in the subject line of the email. I think Ill find a check cashing store on the east side of Naperville instead :)

The manager Beverly gives me grief EVERY time I go in. Tonight was just too much.Because she has something personal against me (I do not know her aside from here and actually only come here when I work for my Agency Owner as a Quality Manager bc I am an Agency Director for a large insurance company and have direct deposit) she told the teller (?) Adila (might have spelled wrong) something about my account. She had not even started it yet.She took my check and ID to her (Beverly) and of course I cannot hear them but some how there is an issue with the check... I asked is there something wrong? The teller replied stuttering oh uh theres just an issue uh I have to verify it to which I said okay, the number should be on my account because I have cashed these checks before. She said it was not so I gave her the phone number. She then comes back and tells me she has called and neither numbers work... I said what 2 numbers.. I gave you one..? she muttered and did not really answer.She let the manager know something and I called my Agency Owner to see if they had called and to make sure he answers their next call.. MUCH to my surprise since the employee said she called he said he did not get a call.She called him again, he answered, verified and she cashed my check.I asked for Beverlys manager and received that info from the teller. When I asked for corporate/headquarters number she asked Beverly to tell me the info I was asking for. Beverly RUDELY walked away and pointed and said she can call the number on that sign..I did and filed a formal complaint. I am in the customer service industry and a manager myself of managers and agents. I would never allow such behavior from anyone let alone my management team.

The service I received at this PLScheck cashing stores was absolutely ridiculous I would never tell anyone else to use this check cashing servicethe employees at the store are very rude the lines are very long.I went to cash a MoneyGram money order and was refused it being cash. I was told that I should use Walmart to cash this money gram because they could not I was also told that it would be more convenient because they charge more to cash them.I had told them the reason I use pls is the convenience of 24 hours cashing service. the store manager informed me that she used to work at Walmart and it would be a better option to cash there.they had also asked me why I would not use my bank to cash it because they use Western Union and their own money ordersand was also questioned why I didnt purchase a money order from them if I wanted to cash my money order with them.additionally I was told that I had been in the store cashing checks earlier in the day which was not true and it was deemed to be suspicious activity that I was backto cash this MoneyGram money order.felt very violated in my personal privacy when asked why I did not want to cash and another source rather than giving pls business. left empty-handed and wondering why a financial institution could not give me any answers to why I could not cash the money order at that moment.

Service was bad, the cashier would leave me unattended and move on to another person. I went in for car license plates and they messed them up twice. The whole process took almost 2 hours.
