Was severely disappointed in my interactions with this business. There were a number of times I was given incorrect information related to my quartz purchase/install. I was also definitely left with the impression that I was up-charged without proper reason. While I was happy with the end product their ill-informed employees, poor communication and disorganization will prevent me from using them again or recommending them.

I ordered carpet for my new home. Chris Kowalski was my sales person and did an excellent job educating me about different carpets, what to look for when I buy and helped mw align my purchase with my vision for my home. The quote was transparent and easy to understand in addition to fair. BBIF was able to install on the date I requested without worry and the installer team was great. They were a father / son team and approached the job with professionalism and a craftsmanship. I will definitely be using BBIF when I change my kitchen counters and retile my bathroom floor. We stopped in to grab a quote to have a mud room built. Upon entering a woman helped us immediately but said the mud room “line” falls under a different sales guy so she couldn’t help us. Upon her locating Ed he told us he was booked for appointments for the day and we needed to call and schedule. He had no client there and we waited about 20 minutes in the parking lot looking at other cabinet stores and no one else showed up. Ed, the sales guy we needed to speak to couldn’t even speak to us he spoke to the woman who greeted us gave her his card to give to us but was literally 10 feet from us. Couldn’t say to us directly “gosh guys, glad you stopped in, I’m booked till xyz, can we schedule something then?” He didn’t address or or even acknowledge our presence.They’re a new company and we were hoping to give them business. But from their initial customer service we will not even be going back. Looks like we will be going with brakur in shorewood. On a busy day we stopped in, they made time for us, even though we were a small job without a contractor they treated us well and made us feel acknowledged as potential clients. Initial customer service is very important and sets the tone for how the whole project will run with a company.Of important note, it was a weekday morning at 10:30. Not an evening or weekend.

Had an amazing experience from the beginning to the end. They were patient with us while we waited on approval from our HOA ( which should have not taken a month)) by the time we got approved our floors were on backorder so we ended up getting even better product for the original contracted price 😀 Andy went above and beyond to meet us when we couldnt get to him for payment and keys exchanged. Amazing product fair priced family owned company that I would recommend over and over again they finished our 1250sqft home with two diff type of floors in one day. Which after waiting so long was amazing and felt like the win we deserved. Amazing work keep it up !

We purchased 3 bathroom vanities and our kitchen countertops from Best Buy as well as flooring for two of our bathrooms. We have had mixed feelings about our experience. Our flooring went fine for the most part, no issues there. Our countertop and vanities installation didnt go as smoothly. There were issues with damage to our walls when they removed the old vanity in our powder room but they fixed it when they installed the new vanity. We still have to do some painting, but it was fine. They also cut the wrong quartz for our powder room so they had to come back at a later date to install the correct one. In the end, we were ok with everything because they took care of their mistakes. Fast forward about 6 months and our kitchen sink started leaking. I called Andy at Best Buy to inquire if they had any kind of guarantee or warranty on their plumbing work because we purchased a new sink from them and they did the install and plumbing. He told me that he didnt think so, but he would check with his supervisor and call me back. I waited almost a week and a half and he never called me back. I couldnt keep letting my sink leak, so I called a plumber. The plumber came out and confirmed that the leak was because the garbage disposal was not reinstalled correctly. It was an easy fix, but we had to come out of pocket to pay for their mistake. But the worst part of it all for me is that we never even got a call back. Even if they didnt guarantee their work (which I believe they should) they didnt care to even give us a call even though they knew we had an active leaking sink. I cannot recommend them for countertops and vanity installation. Between the issues during the install and the way they handled things afterwards, I feel like you can find a better company.

Good people to work with and very helpful through the entire kitchen counter top purchase process. Good quality granite. Fair pricing on product and install. Only reason, I am not giving them 5 stars is from an minor issue from the install of the island counter top that I had to bring up after the fact. This may be more on the installers that the store itself but installers work is representative of the store as a whole.

I am extremely satisfied with the tile floors, granite countertops, and backsplash we purchased from and was installed by Best Buy Carpet and Granite. The work was in our recently purchased home and covered the kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry room, and L shaped hallway. We interacted with at least 14 people for these projects and I think that was a good thing because each was a specialist in their area of expertise. This was sales, estimator, granite counter installer, plumber, tile installer, carpeting, cabinetry, and drywall. The projects took a bit longer than expected but work was not an overly extended time. There were a couple of unexpected issues to address, BBCG handled them and there was not any modification to the price I agreed to pay. The floors, counters, and walls are beautiful. I would highly recommend BBCG.

Excellent Service and Highly Professional. They take time to make you understand the different types of granite, tile or carpet, which is especially nice for a first time home owner like me. I got granite for my kitchen (Cotton White looks amazing). Pricing is per square feet. No gimmicks like other granite stores based on slabs, etc. Their stone cutting shop is close the the showroom and they work with you to fit your schedule for slab selection, measurements and install. Adrian was patient and courteous throughout the process. The whole Best Buy team is prompt and professional.

We had hardwood flooring installed in our hallway and a bedroom upstairs and rubber flooring for our exercise room. Both projects were done beautifully and professionally without any issues as promised. The owner came to supervise the projects personally. I highly recommend their services.

Used them many times, granite, wood floors, wall to wall bedroom carpeting, stair runners and each time not one problem, beautiful work. Last week had basement carpet replaced, it was perfect. Installers worked for six hours, did not rush the job. Installers pointed out leak in basement toilet so I asked them to not complete the install so I could call a plumber. Two days later I had new toilet and Best Buy came back and finished the install at no additional charge. Job was beautifully done and carpet looks so plush for a very reasonable price. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

This was the easiest experience I have had with our remodel. They were extremely helpful in the showroom and office. I went in for a island counter top. They new right away what I was talking about. It was measure and installed in 10 days!! Love it and was the best price around. I went to 6 places!!

I have used Best Buy Carpet and Granite on two other occasions and was very pleased with the work they did. When it came time to replace my kitchen countertops, I went to see them rather than wade through the many advertisements that are out there. They offer a fair price, but more importantly are a quality organization to deal with. They have the actual slabs to look at and they walk you through the different types available. The laser measurements they took at the house turned out a finished product that was outstanding. The installation team did a great job also, as did the office team in scheduling and answering questions. I highly recommend Best Buy for carpeting and countertop needs.

Could not be happier with my new bath countertops. Experience was very good. My slab was held for at least 3 months until we were ready. Four days after the field measure I received a call that they were ready to be installed.

The service and installation was outstanding. Everyone there was helpful, not pushy, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Best Buy Carpets.

Unfortunately, we bought kitchen and bath granite from this company. Communication issues arose once we put down our deposit. For example, I didnt know that they called to confirm our purchase before cutting the granite. We had already paid a 50% deposit, had the space measured and had installation scheduled. Because I didnt call back the same day due to work commitments, they bumped me back in the schedule and I ended up with what I hope was the the B-team for installation. The installers dinged the front, door, scratched a cabinet and broke a drawer. The bath installation was poor, at best, plus our plumber couldnt get the faucet in because the granite wasnt installed or cut correctly or both. Shortly after the installers left, two friends stopped by and asked if our new granite was a DIY project. Embarrassing for me but more for Best Buy who prides themselves on professional installation. It was extremely stressful. I have pics of the entire debacle. There are a lot of granite companies to choose from, dont make the same mistake we did.

I recently ordered new granite counter tops for my kitchen remodel. The gentleman that came to the house to make the template listened to my instructions and followed them exactly. In a little over a week the new counter tops were installed. I was pleasantly surprised how accurate the cuts were and how exact it fit. The counters are beautiful, I am very pleased, thank you!

I went to Herb and his team when I needed new carpet for my basement. The service they provided was great and the carpet turned out fantastic. Its such an improvement over the builder grade that would have been placed there. If you need carpet, granite or anything else I highly recommend calling Best Buy Carpet & Granite.

Sales effort was good. A few things could have been done differently regarding installation. I was told the day before that install would start 10:30-12:30. A phone message was left at 7:35 day of install that installer would be there between 7:30 and 8:30. I picked up this message at 8:10. Installer was there at 8:17. Not a lot of lead time. I had to scramble to get last minute things ready.I was also told at measuring appt that screws would be used instead of nails and that sometimes nails caused other problems with the pounding. The first installer used screws but second installer was using nails. This caused me some concern as I had been told there would be no pounding with the screws.Lastly, probably because of the pounding, a glass poster frame was broken. I did not see this until the next morning. The installers worked very hard and did a good job for the most part, but I would have appreciated them telling me about the broken glass. To walk out and not mention it was not right. I did not want to make a big deal out of it and would not have mentioned it except now that Im giving feedback I want you to have all of the info. I think it was unprofessional to leave without telling me about it.I am happy with the overall job and will continue to recommend you. However you do need to know about these issues. This is purely a matter of communication in all instances. Something fairly easy to address I think.

Have shopped in here several times, but not bought from them yet. They have a good selection and the sales people I talked to taught me enough to help make a decision, but now Im stuck. I cant buy anything until my wife agrees. Better to keep the old stuff then to live with an unhappy wife, right?

I went in their Naperville store the day after Christmas with my three adult children to pick, or at least get an idea, on countertops and carpet to get my house ready for market. They were very nice, knowledgeable, and welcoming - yeah for a bottle of water. We saw things we liked, and Ed worked up a quote. Didnt get back around to it until March or April. He still had the quote and it was still good. Went to Home Depot, they were a little lower. Then my brother, a builder out of state, told me to make sure to buy from a fabricator to not have to deal with subcontractors. BBG is a fabricator. Yeah, but I found another one in the Western Suburbs and got a quote. Very close, but BBG was more responsive. I decided to go with them. Heres the best part - it all went smoothly. They called when they were supposed to, the guy who came to measure for the counters and then the carpet (still havent done the carpet) were very efficient. The countertop installers called when they were supposed to, showed up EARLY, were very professional, and a half hour after they were finished their plumber showed up to hook up the disposal and sink. Knock me over with a feather! I have a couple things to do, like sell my long arm quilting machine, before I can get new carpet, but I dont see why I wouldnt use BBG. Already checked, and their price is close to Home Depots, so I would rather support this business. So nice to have this go smoothly and the countertops are beautiful.

I would never do business with this family. Most unethical people I have ever dealt with. I recently agreed to purchase an ATV from this family owned business. It was a black 2010 Polaris XP850 with 100 hours on it. It is currently listed on Craigslist today 5/11/16. I was told one of their people (Robert)was selling it for them on Craigslist because the family has so much money they dont handle their own affairs. I am not from a wealthy family. I am a blue collar guy who works very hard for my money. I took 1/2 day off of work on 5/10/16 to drive an hour after agreeing to pay the $4500 that they were asking. This was the listed price on CL 2 days ago. We even agreed on the cash price by text(I still have the saved text messages from Robert). When I showed up yesterday morning, I was told the owners decided they wanted $5400 instead of the $4500 they agreed to. I thought this guy was kidding me. He said no, and told me that I either need to pay the extra $900 or leave. I explained to this person that this is NOT how you treat people. I told him that I did not care how much money the family has. You dont treat people like this. I will NEVER do business with this company. I want people to know the kind of people that own this company. Robert could not have been more of a jerk. I explained to Robert that I took a 1/2 day off work. He did not care. The only thing he cared about was getting more money for his wealthy owners. I do not like writing things like this, however I DONT WANT ANYONE TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS. Money does NOT buy class or Character. I feel sorry for Robert and the Best Buy Family. You have lost sight of what it means to care about others.
