Michael gave my two sons really good cuts. Neither of my sons had a cut since February. I googled Barbers near me and several came up. I decided to go give him a try based on the reviews. Michael responded quickly via text.He was very kind and inviting. Michael gave my sons the best hair cuts they’ve had for a couple of years. We will be going back. My husband is next.

I dont normally write reviews, but when a business is this exceptional I feel its important that it is recognized. Ive lived all over the U.S. and have tried many barbershops. District 6 has the most comprehensive and quality barbershop experience Ive ever encountered. The price is very reasonable too. Kurt is professional, detail oriented, and an all-around great guy. I have been getting my haircut for 3 years now with Kurt and don’t plan on ever going elsewhere. It’s a one man shop, comfortable chair, with television to watch. Shoulder massage, neck shave, and shampoo comes at a reasonable price. He takes reservations by appointment only same day you want the cut, so no reservation dates to remember....just text him when you’re ready for cut. Super friendly, professional, and my hair always looks great!

Kurt not only does a great job with your hair he makes sure you are comfortable the entire time and doesnt shy away from going the extra mile. Ive been looking for a skilled no-nonsense barber for a while and am happy to say I finally found what I was looking for. Highly recommend!

Kurts place isnt like any barber Ive ever been too. His shop seats one at a time in a small office of a Victorian style house. It was a little hard to find and it has an unorthodox style, but its more than just a haircut. He uses hot eucalyptus towels to soften and sooth your face and finishes the haircut with a back massage. It was totally unexpected when I was just looking for a quick haircut, but it was worth it. highly recommended. Ill be back in a couple months.

Kurt isnt messing around. Hes not the most personable barber Ive ever had, but hes focused and thats fine by me. I spent 24 minutes with Kurt and in that time I got a buzz job, he trimmed my beard and he shaved my face. He did an excellent job! I got a shampoo and scalp massage, hot face wrap, and then a electric massage of my shoulders, all as advertised. I feel like he took his time and worked out minor details. Kurts was private, quiet, comfortable, a desirable experience for sure, and no gimmicks. Im only in town for about 6 months but Ill make it a point to get back here as many times as I can before I depart Denver.

Hands down the only barber I will go to in the Denver area. No longer will I have to suffer with the chop shop chain stores.Mike gives you good conversation, a clean cut and a personal experience that has been lost in our age of convenience.

I just had a haircut today and it was a wonderful experience. To say it was just a haircut would be incorrect. Kurt provides a hot towel, a flat razor back of head shave, and a massage at the end. All for $20. Keep up the good work Kurt!

First time coming here only in town for the weekend but I really need to cut Google barber shops around me this place was the first one have many good reviews decided to make an appointment. Could not be any happier love the service friendly atmosphere the back massage along with a hot towel on your face and shampoo was perfect on point I love the attention to detail

I feel rejuvenated every time I get a cut from Mike! He shows amazing attention to detail by giving me a hot towel treatment, massaging the scalp as he washes my hair, and by massaging my shoulders with a vibrating back massager. Mike is located inside of Phenix Salon Suites in his own private room. So, I can talk about anything I want without worrying about disturbing others. If you are not a talker, Mike has a nice flatscreen tv set up right in front of the chair. Another plus is Mikes cool electric razor/vacuum, which allows him to vacuum the hair while it is being cut–leaving me fresh without any hair splinters! It is the best service available! Go check him out! You wont be sorry!

I highly recommend Kurts Cuts Barbershop. The service was great and anyone who just follows the rules (text name/time desired to setup appointment, wait for confirmation or next available time, ring the bell when you get there, then wait) will have an excellent experience like I did.

Though I have tried going to other barbers in Denver that are closer to where I live/work, I keep coming back to Kurt because he gives the best cut at a great price. Ignore any unfavorable reviews; theyre just complaining because he doesnt do walk-ins (as stated on his website). Personally, I like the fact that I can just shoot him a text and hell respond to me in a few minutes to let me know what slots are available.Single-chair barbershops like Kurts are the epitome of small, local business. This isnt Super Cuts, where you can just walk-in whenever and expect service. Kurt devotes all of his attention to a single customer, one at a time. In a world of inhuman commercialism with no personality, Kurts Cuts provides something few services do nowadays: culture.

Kurt isnt the friendliest or most welcoming person, and the vacuum-attached trimmers feel like Im getting my hair cut by a weird aunt. Ive been a few times, and every time felt like I was inconveniencing Kurt by getting my hair cut. Would not recommend, especially for the price.

Great hair cut and experience! Have gone to angels and alfansis (sp?) And am rather particular about my fade and he nailed it! Great fade and the shampoo and massage were super relaxing and great and you dont get that at the other places. Same price as alfansis but you get a better hair cut and the shampoo and massage. Highly recommend!

He will never do walk-ins. He will turn you away. I was there an hour before he was supposed to close and no one else was there and he turned me away.

A quality cut and shave with great attention to detail.

I like this place. Its a bit further walk than Floyds, but I get a good haircut, neck shave, shampoo, and massage for $15. I ended up paying $21 at Floyds for nothing more than a buzzcut.Here, when Im done I can walk out and not have to worry about going home to rinse little hair clippings out.

First off, you cant get in the building. He makes it too difficult to find. Second, the guy thinks hes gods gift to hair. Total jerk. I wouldnt give him my business..
