Do not expect your deposit to be returned. I would recommend taking pictures/videos of every scratch, dent any small detail in the time of mov in and move out. They claim that they will work with you and try to resolve issues but dont. Office management and staff is/are rude and unprofessional they say one thing and do another. They state that the unit at time of move out needs to be the same way you found it but they do not tell you that you will still be charged for cleaning even though its left immaculately clean unless you hire a professional company to come clean it and have invoices. We had a major leak/flood in our apartment that was caused by the upstairs neighbors, the work that was done to repair our unit was done very poorly the paint was a different color, the drywall and taping was terrible, our carpet was not removed (only a small space) we had no electricity in the kitchen, bathroom, hallway, and 1 bedroom for 3 weeks and once it was fixed water was still coming out. Management shouldve came and done a walk through of the work of the people/companies they hire.

MUST READ BEFORE SIGNING LEASE!!!My roommate and I have been living at Bristol village since May 1st. Since then our stay has been nothing short of chaos with the leasing office. I have had to play the landlord roll when I am the tenant. There are many concerns with the staffing. First and foremost Mark and his staff are extremely rude. I went in last month (May) to ask them questions about the portal because the pricing was incorrect and my roommate and I were working on making early payments. I had spoke with Mark about it, but he didn’t give me all of the information I was looking for so I went back later that afternoon to ask the gentleman who I believe is the admin/coordinator was extremely rude. I went to ask him follow up service questions regarding the portal and he immediately cut me off and was being very reactive. As of today my roommate and I have been without AC for over a week. We made the request on Monday and the maintenance guy came and told us that the whole system needed to be replaced. He advised us roughly Wednesday because they had to order the parts. On Wednesday I didn’t get a response so I asked Mark for a follow up and he just said that he wasn’t aware because he was out on Monday and Tuesday. He just said ASAP. My roommate seen the maintenance guy Wednesday afternoon and asked for an update and he said Thursday. Thursday came and nothing no update from the office or offering of an in the meantime solution nothing. My roommate and I have literally been scrambling all week to find other places to stay because it’s been so hot. We’ve had to take time out of our work day today just to go in and have something be done. Why? When we pay to live here? They brought us temporary AC units that go in the window. Why couldn’t they have offered this to us the second we filed the complaint? We literally had to tell them we have been suffering for them to take some sort of action. It’s the hottest week by far and my roommate and I have been completely inconvenienced. At the end of the day they get to go home and sleep well at night, so they don’t understand. The lease they could’ve done was provide us the temporary AC units earlier. Because of all the inconveniences they have cause my roommate and I since Day 1, this has left a bad taste in our mouths leaving us to determine that we will no longer be living here once our lease is up! It’s sad because the apartment space is nice and spacious, it’s literally the staffing at the leasing office that makes living at Bristol Village extremely difficult. Moreover, I have been submitting payment via money orders since I moved in and Mark (the leasing office manager) has questioned me multiple times as to why it wasn’t the full amount and stated that he “doesn’t accept partial payments due to COVID”. I told him that I don’t have to explain my life circumstances to him. As long as my bills are paid on time, which they are, their should be no questioning especially from an employee. That’s rude and disrespectful. Furthermore, I asked him “so us residents aren’t allowed to submit partial payments online or in person” and his response was “No”. What’s funny is this isn’t the first time I submitted partial payments and he didn’t have an issue before. I asked him “where does it say in writing on the lease or anywhere that [I] am not allowed to submit partial payments?” He couldn’t answer. My roommate and I are only on month 2 here and it’s been nothing short of horrible! The apartment itself is nice, but the leasing office makes living here so difficult that I’d rather pay more to not have to deal with this.I highly suggest not moving here unless absolutely necessary!

My wife and I were residents here for 3 years exactly. The apartment it’s self was beautiful and we had zero issues “while living there”. Everything was great. Unfortunately, when we were moving out, we were told that there would be an inspection on the apartment once we moved out. No walk through inspection was provided in person during move out. So that’s where we messed up. Keep in note that this was our first ever apartment so we didn’t know better. Bristol ended up charging us $1100 dollars in repairs and replacements in the apartment for things such as carpet, blinds, refrigerator compartments, etc. with this being said, we left the apartment in perfect condition. Almost spotless with nothing missing at all. I could understand paying for the deep clean and such but charging over $1,000 in damages is ridiculous!!!! For any future resident looking to move in here please do not let Covid be an excuse not to have a walk through your apartment with the front office. This place will make up anything to get more money from you.

Bristol Village Apartments advertises as a Luxury apartment complex. There is nothing luxury about it. None of the amenities are available as advertised. Mail boxes have been broken for many years, which means your packages end up at the office. Then your package is sometimes given to other residents due to the incompetence of the staff. The gated community consists of gates that have no locks and are always wide open day and night. The front gate has been broken for a long time and their solution is to just leave it open while still advertising a gated community. The pool area is unkempt, broken umbrellas at the tables, and a hot tub that is not hot. The gym equipment is broken and has not been replaced or fixed ever. Corporate will reach out and respond to this post in an attempt to have it removed through bribery offline communication. Dont rent from here.

If i can i would give 0 stars, nice apartments the bad thing is maintenance take too long to fix everything. They keep all your deposit ( they should write in the lease agrrement not refundable) and they charge for cleaning( even when you left an inmmaculate apartment) having no kids and 1 small dog, they said i damage all the carpet and they have to replace it, they charge for that too, so besides keeping $500 deposit, they probably will charge you another $400 for move out damages

Now that the chaos of moving has settled down a bit, I wanted to take a second to give credit where its due: to this wonderful community I now call home. I stumbled upon Bristol Village quite accidentally and called the office to schedule a last-minute early-morning tour on my way to work one morning. They could easily have turned me away because their offices werent technically open for business yet that day (or because they needed more notice to prepare), but they didnt. Instead, they were flexible enough to say, sure come on over. Without any time to prepare for my visit, they welcomed with open arms, kind smiles, and a very informative packet on all Bristol had to offer. Mark and James have been nothing short of exceptional, both in their communication and their kindness. Since then, Ive only had positive experiences here. The cleaning team worked overtime to get my unit ready for the date of my move-in even though they werent even given a full week; management prepared a welcome home bag full of goodies to give me on my move-in day; I had one small maintenance request upon move-in and it was taken care of within 48 hours; a new neighbor of mine helped me carry one of my furniture pieces into my unit when I was left high and dry by a mover... I could go on. What you need to know is that this property is beautiful, its staff is efficient and informative, and my experience so far has truly made me feel at home. Come live here.

The apartments we looked at were most beautiful. We will be applying to stay.

I was in immediate need of an apartment and as soon as I came to bristols leasing office I was greeted by Sherrold and I felt welcomed in quickly! I went into the office and the next day I had my set of keys. I am extremely grateful for Bristol. I was apartment searching for a very long time and these apartments are truly beautiful especially for the price. The apartments are spacious, and I love the fireplace! Everything is updated and I’m so happy I found these apartments. So many other places have pest problems but nothing here. The community is gated and you also need a key fab to get into the building so I feel very secure. I had two little maintenance requests and they were handled SO quickly by Jeremy, I was amazed at that and just how quick I was able to get into this complex. It’s a nice space. I’m that person who reads every review with apartment complexes—so when you read this, trust this review.

This is a good place to live. You do get little access cards for the gates and apartment building doors which makes you feel secure with an apartment door facing an interior hallway. Maintenance crew was always respectful and kind when fulfilling the requests made on the resident portal. The office staff works with you on any issue you may have. Packages are delivered to your door from amazon, ups, and Fedex. USPS has a big office right across the street. There is a mall and a super target with in 2 miles driving distance. Everyone has their own experience and writes reviews according to that. If you need a place to live this is a good starter.

I have been living here for 3 years but NOW I can not wait to leave once my lease is up. The old management was great, but new management is extremely rude, cant respond to your calls or maintenance request. I agree with majority of the poster that there is nothing good about this apt. I have lost several of my packages simply because they failed to fix the mailbox door. It literally took them MONTHS to get it fixed! If you value your privacy, comfort and dignity, DO NOT MOVE IN. I can almost guarantee you will regret your decision. Not to mention that $2 to $300 rent raise every lease contract. The messiness, trashes are everywhere around the apartment complex. Ive had great interactions with the staff at this community. The gates were broken for a while, but seem to be working now. I like the inside parking, as you can park alongside the curb so your car isnt next to another, or a regular lot, with plenty of space. The only downfall are the kids to be honest. Im not a fan of them, and in the summer theyre always unsupervised, and ruin any relaxing time you want in the pool or jacuzzi. They run around everywhere, they splash you, the parents just watch and dont say anything, or simply leave them alone. I went a couple times in the summer, and the kids were there by themselves and said the jacuzzi was broken...they probably broke the timer. Not amused. They kept jumping in and out of the pool and Jacuzzi and literally had to tell them to be quiet and to respect our space. They were moving around the jacuzzi, and were literally on us and playing marco polo in there. Like, are you kidding me? I also think the water has too much chlorine...it starts to burn my eyes and makes my skin itchy. The gym could use some maintenance too :( most machines are broken. I would definitely keep living here if these things are fixed! I truly enjoy my apartment. Anytime I have an issue with plumbing or need something looked at, they take care of it right away. The property is always clean. Its just the tenants sometimes that dont pick up after their dog, or leave some trash in the streets. Totally on the occupants. Ive seen condom wrappers by my car for example...

I lived here for two years. It seemed nice at first, but I quickly reevaluated. The management seems to constantly turn over. In the two years I was there, I have seen at least 4 sets of office employees/management. When I moved in, they were of course all nice and happy and willing to help for everything. Moving out was a different story. I repeatedly asked to be present for the walk-through and was ignored. Calls ignored. In person promises were not kept. Office staff didnt know what was going on. In some states this is illegal, but unfortunately in Colorado it seems they are within their rights. I finally had to call on my birthday to ask about the walk-through that I was supposed to get a call about, and then get a call about the results (never happened, surprise surprise). The manager finally said all I had to do was pay the difference between my deposit and final utilities (recorded phone call or else I wouldnt have believed them) and Id be good. Thank god they honored this (only reason for 2 stars).Would not recommend, because as others have said, they raise the rent by a lot every year, and you dont really get the amenities they promise. Other apartments in the area offer washer/dryer and similar/actually working amenities for cheaper.

I wouldnt even waste your time applying for these apartments. The office staff are very rude and unprofessional. I put in my application and did not hear anything back after a week and a half. I kept calling the office and sending emails to the manager Jennifer asking for the status and she never responded. Every time I would call, they would put me on hold for 15 minutes or more then disconnect the phone. Moises kept answering and hanging up the phone. They will take your application fee and never let you know anything. I figured after calling over a course of a week everyday, I would just give up and take the app fee as a loss. We have lived here for less then 2 months and it has been one bad thing after another. The day we moved in we found that none of the appliances were connected, including the washer and dryer. We called the office and they sent over the maintenance man, he connected everything...well not really, I started a load of bleach water to make sure the washing machine was clean, only to find that it was not connected properly, because it flooded the apartment. When the maintenance man came back to connect the washer again, I handed him the thermostat that had come off the wall in my hand when I tried to turn on the air conditioner. One of the reasons we moved in here was because we were advised that they were remodeling the unit. The unit that we were shown was very nice, but this was not true for the unit they rented to us. What they did was take out old light fixtures and put in new ones, but they did not do anything about the holes that the previous fixtures left. They also changed out the blinds, again they just pulled out the old ones and installed the new ones, leaving multiple holes where the previous blinds were hung. One of the reasons we liked this property was because of the gated entry, well that is a total joke. If you come to the property when the office is open, then the gates are open. We didnt realize this when we were moving in, we thought this was because it was the weekend and lots of people were moving in/out. Because of this we didnt have to worry about using our code or key fob to get onto the property, but this turned out to be a very bad thing. When we left the property on our second night here, we came back to find that neither our code or key fob would allow us to gain entry to the property. We decided to just do our best and make it thru this 1 year contract that we agreed to, but now it has gotten worse. The neighbors upstairs sound like they are stomping constantly, there must be no insulation between the floors. Last weekend we woke up to find little white bugs crawling all over the living and dining room areas. Now today we came home from work to find flies everywhere. We have killed over 100 flies (not exaggerating). I WARN EVERYONE LOOKING TO RENT AN APARTMENT, DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!!

Heres my story about the quality of customer service here:I woke up on Saturday morning with my apartment at 80 degrees. The AC stopped working! I live on the 3rd floor and I have 2 dogs so having a hot apartment is NOT an option. I immediately put a maintenance request on the resident portal. Once the office opened at 10, I called. No answer. Waited a half hour and called again, still no answer. I left a voicemail both times. I called again a half hour after that leaving a message for both the office and emergency maintenance. Nothing. I walked down to the office, and everything including the front doors to the clubhouse were locked. No one came in that day. About an hour later, one of the on-call maintenance guys came knocking on my door with a brand new window AC unit. It was temporary until they could get it fixed. Someone should be out on Monday. This brand new AC couldnt be put in the correct way because as soon as you turned it on, all you could hear is the fan inside hitting metal. So the guy tilted it so it didnt make any noise, and he left. I was so happy because of the cool air and thought that would be the end of our personal heat wave. Obviously since Im writing this novel, I was wrong. My husband woke up the next morning to go to work only to find that our carpet was saturated in front of the AC. Since the AC is tilted INTO our apartment, the water that usually leaks out, leaked in. So now, we cant even keep the temporary AC running because it will soak our apartment floor.Well, its Monday, 2:08 pm. I have called twice, my husband once, leaving a message every time asking someone to call me as soon as possible so I know what the status of this fix is. And of course, STILL no response! The lack of communication from this community is unbelievable. I would say if you are wise, dont move here, but I too read the reviews and still decided to move because i thought it was a nice complex. If you do decide to move, just expect no response from the office. Ever. Good luck!

You cant get comcast or century link. They have a contract with another company and it is horrendous. Dont bother wasting your time with them and get Clear, Verizon, etc. That or just stick to your phone for Internet.

I am a current resident and have been for two years! Let me just say this past year has been full of the most awful experiences I have ever encountered; from customer service to maintenance.I have had to call more than a dozen times for the same problem for it to still not be resolved. When I presented my situation to both the manager and the assistant manager they could probably care less about everything I was experiencing in my apartment. Not to mention the snotty attitude from the both of them- More so the assistant manager who goes by the name of Sarah. I am so disappointed in the awful customer service they provide their residents. Grey Star who manages the property should really look into the type of people they hire. There is other residents that have experienced the same thing. DO NOT LEASE HERE. I would hate to see anyone else struggle with what I have.

Went in on a Friday afternoon to view apartments and while there were 2 staff members in the office, we were told they couldnt help us at the moment and we would come back. Since that was our first experience with their customer service, we went elsewhere.

I was so in love and felt so safe here when I moved in.. Thats when I was at #7-204, now Im in a different one.. Let me tell you, its god awful !!! Management changed and its terrible . The sidewalks, trash, door locks and gates, are not being fixed or picked up..if you wanted a taxe write off you could of at lest warned the tenants first.. My building hasnt been vacumed or cleaned. There is actually dog shyts in the hall. For what we pay. We wont be staying if this problem dont get fixed.. I dont know what happen, but I really miss the last management. She was wonderful, and the buildings and grounds were well taken care of also had wonderful community activities planned . I feel bad about this post but looks like the only way to get the owners attention.. I have pics .. And I definitely do not feel safe anymore.. If I could upload a video Id scare alot of prospective renters

I lived here for two years, when we first moved in the place was managed my Lincoln properties. In my opinion Lincoln was way better and worked way faster to finish matienence orders, Greg was great! Then Greystar started managing the property and everything became more business like and less personal and friendly. My apartment was the first to get renovated on the property and I must say I loved it. 750 Sq feet 10 foot ceilings and the top floor. My neighbors were great for the most part and I cant remember a time that I ever wanted to complain about noise. The pool, hot tub, and gym are all well maintenenced and the grounds are always very well kept. Im going to miss living here!Update: Be careful and document EVERYTHING when you move in and make sure you ask for a personal copy of documentation when your carpets were last replaced. I had $1,500 in total for deposits when I moved in two years ago $1,115 was an additional security deposit for not having a credit score back then. No big deal at the time because the previous management company Lincoln assured me that I would be getting the whole $1,115 back when I moved out. Greystar however is a joke of a company who will do anything and everything to steal your money. After moving out a month later I get my refund back $800 short of my total deposit amount. Due to carpet damage. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the carpet, yet they replaced both the bedroom and the living room at my expense. If you want to throw away your money this is the perfect place to do so. They will steal your money right under your nose and say it was your fault.

If it was still the previous owners I would recommend these apartments. The current owners have done nothing but feed me lies since they got here. The maintenance staff had to do some work on my toilet and they left all the trash and broken parts covered in black grease on my bathroom floor and left a mess. The staff is extremely rude and INCOMPETENT. These people do not deserve your business.

I have had some problems with billing, as they have a third party handle that function that frequently states incorrect amounts, but the maintenance has blown me away. One of their members, Matt, came by to fix a fridge leak, and not only fixed the leak, but cleaned up my apartment around the leak to clean up all the damage from the leak, and then kinda kept going, so I came back to an apartment not only with a working fridge, but also cleaner. I was blown away. This was beyond above and beyond.

The new management company here sucks, I have lived here for a year and was supposed to be moving into a 2 bedroom this weekend, well that move did not happen because we went to look at the apartment, the management didnt even do our walk through with us. Well to start the kitchen sink was spraying water from under it, my daughters closet door was leaned against a wall not even on the closet hinge. On top of all that the whole apartment dusty, including vents, the smoke detector and sprinklers, and a light in the hallway had piles of dust right by the light bulb. Grey star in my opinion was great I never had any issues with the staff or maintenance. Steadfast sucks though I went yesterday morning to tell them I wanted my lease shredded which they did however they laughed in my face to each other and spoke about how they rushed me into the apartment. Well excuse me rushing me into an apartment because you have someone lined up to take over mine is not acceptable. I will be moving to a new community on Saturday and I honestly cant wait. SCREW STEADFAST MANAGEMENT DONT EVER LEASE HERE !!!! I have pictures if they even think about screwing me over.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! When my family and I have first moved in the property was owned by Griffis Residential such a pleasure to work with. Now they are owned by Lincoln Property. Stay FAR AWAY! The maintenance staff does absolutely nothing we called over 10 times for them to fix our kitchen sink which leaks(still) they cut a hole in the cabinet and left it with mold exposed. Our smoke detector went off randomly one day and it wouldnt stop it took someone 45 minutes to come and stop it. He rips it out of the ceiling and we didnt get a replacement for almost a month. Their maintenance workers are teenagers who sit around smoking pot with the residents in the carts they use to get around. The manager there is THE ABSOULTE WORST our mail had gotten stolen (bc if someone gets the wrong mail they just leave it outside and the management never goes and gets it to make sure mail isnt stolen) so my husbands debit card was taken and we were going to be late with the rent bc of it she said she would work with us and then said she couldnt do anything to help us. They never knew how much my rent was or how many occupants lived there I had bought a new car and they needed to verify my information and the leasing agent gave them the wrong amount and said I lived alone almost costing me my vehicle. There was always late payment notices in the middle of the month on my door when my rent had already been paid at the beginning of the month. I had to constantly remind them how much my rent actually was. They had even misplaced a money order that we had given them for the rent! (keep ALL of your receipts) It is supposed to be a gated community the gates are always open the key cards never work to get in and out of the door. The door that I mainly used the card reader was broken and it was never fixed so anyone could gain access into the building The appliances are so cheap the rent is WAY over priced. they are remodeling so the gym has been closed for over 4 months but I have never seen anyone doing any work in that area. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! you WILL regret it!!!

Bristol Village was at one month before this post owned by Griffis. In that time they had been a pleasure to work with. Any problem I had was resolved in a timely and fair manner. I had not had any problems with Griffis for almost a year. With almost 2 months left on my lease they were bought out by Lincoln. This is when the nightmare started.I had a pipe burst in my wall that soaked my bedroom and destroyed my Tempurpedic mattress. My renters insurance didnt want to cover the damage because they said it wasnt damage caused by me or an act of God, it was caused by poor maintenance. I agreed with my insurance because that makes perfect sense and USAA has always been good to me. So I decided to talk to the new property manager Andrea Harper per USAA recommendation. She has been completely unhelpful and disrespectful. She at many times told me it was my responsibility to get resolved and she on behalf of Lincoln cannot do anything because I signed a waiver of responsibility. I told her that the waiver doesnt mean she cant do anything, it just means she doesnt have to. She said she talked to some mysterious regional manager that was somewhere in Wyoming at the time and she also didnt want to do anything to help. After THEIR pipes burst and damaged MY belongings they were somehow not responsible for ANYTHING.Then, while still trying to deal with this through the management and my insurance, they decided to tow my other vehicle because it had expired plates. I told Griffis before that I was waiting for a new title after the DMV lost my original and they told me no problem and I didnt have to worry about my vehicle. A month after Lincoln comes here they decided to tow my vehicle without giving me warning by calling, putting anything on my door, or mail. They did put a tiny note on my vehicle that they would be towing it but since I commonly travel for 30-45 days for work I couldnt see the note that was only posted for about a week. One month after Lincoln comes in Im now responsible for the following:-Replacing a $5400 dollar mattress-Paying the tow and impound of my vehicle at a cost of $550-Dealing with the snobby and disrespectful management-Boiling anger over how things have been handledI will say after telling Andrea I alone had a $250 dollar deductible for my renters insurance that I would never get back even if they decided to pay my claim she right away said she would pay for that. So from saying she couldnt do anything to paying a measly $250 dollar deductible for an insurance claim that I dont even know can get approved. Yeah, thats REAL helpful! Also, I told Andrea that I had authorization from the last manager that was here with Griffis to keep my vehicle here while waiting for my new title and she had the nerve to say he isnt here now and give me the phone number for another property company to call and speak to Craig to get things worked out!My God, thats the kind of service you get with Andrea at Bristol Village with Lincoln in charge now.God forbid a pipe bursts in your new apartment or you are waiting for a lost title for your vehicle or travel and dont move your vehicle for longer then 72 hours, you would be best off renting from some place who wont screw you with a $6000 dollar bill.I thought the decent rent rates were ok but now factoring in $6000 over my 1 year lease I can safely say Im angrily regretting ever allowing myself to stay here after Lincoln bought out Bristol Village and Andrea had the pleasure of ruining my life.Screw you Lincoln and Andrea Harper and you can safely bet I will NOT be renewing my lease!
