They have helped me big time.

Have had so many issues with MaineCare. They are also incredibly hard to get a hold of, or to get any answers from. I have been told different things by different people, never getting a straight answer. Its really disappointing.

On March 2, I called the office for a referral for a dentist,spoke to an associate named Rose who took my phone number and informed me I would hear back from a representative in an hour,after an hour and a half,I called again and connected with the same associate (Rose) and informed her I had not received a courtesy call back and she responded with an attitude that she would again give my number to a rep and I would receive a return call,that call never came. This is not the way to conduct business or treat people,if I call back I seem to get the same associate who may treat me the same,give me the same song and dance and once again I may wait for a call that never comes as they dont connect you straight away to a rep,its always someone will call you back but they havent, still! Mainecare lets them get away with this?

Never had had a good experience with Mainecare. Hours to reach to someone to talk to, and when you finally get someone they transfer you more and more. I called in January about having my case closed and I have been waiting for a termination paper. Here it is June and have heard nothing so calling again waiting hours to talk to someone. Thank god I am not living in Maine anymore. Their system is horrible.

Representatives are polite, the 45 minute to an hour wait time every time I call is not polite however. Especially for a minor information update. I spoke with one rep who I shared the detail change with, then she put me on hold for someone else and after 57 minutes someone finally picked up so I could repeat myself for nothing.

Discovery house in waterville maine is breaking the rules 6 feet is maintained in the building and the 20 people outside are allowed to stand face to face 2 feet away and fights are breaking out and they wont even listen to better the problem and i just get threatened to get kicked out this is a plea for help!!!

Its a sin that doctors would drop a patient due to this rule about missing appointments. A family member has been going to the same doctors office for 7 years. Their doctor is threatening to drop her as a patient because she canceled an appointment due to the 2 feet of snow on the ground. They also lied and said she never got her blood work done. She cant even say anything about it because she gets told to calm down . Are you serious? Is this how Maine doctors treat sick individuals. Its almost like going to a probation officer. You cant treat people like criminals. I myself have changed offices due to this. The reason Im writing about it on a Mainecare review is because the doctor says that its Mainecares rules. Is that true?

MaineCare sucks very long wait time to get Ahold of someone , it’s very stupid ! Very unhappy with this state I moved too ! Though they would of been better but nope

Takes forever to answer and I get hung up on all the time

MaineCare doesnt follow its policy to pay for emergency care.Besides that Farmington department is rude.
