You would think that a massive company that rakes in millions of dollars from their customers each month could afford to put more than 2 customer service employees on their floor. Only one associate was available to whittle down the que of people because the other was helping an elderly couple pick out a phone and plan the whole time...waited for 45 minutes to ask a few questions and pay a bill, obviously the people behind me waited longer.

Can’t believe this is our only option in Maine for an internet provider. 100mbps is just enough to get online HARDLY. Can’t get an upgraded router because you hardly get 100mbps less then half the time. Everything about spectrum is a HUGE JOKE and waste of time. Sadly have to give them at least a star. I’ll give that to the 1 guy that does work.

I rated it 3 cause it really is just an average internet company. It’s not crazy expensive but it’s not exactly cheap either. The internet runs great at home but it also stops working often. One time it took 3 days to get internet back, which was disappointing.

I went in 3 times to get a new phone. They said our accounts were linked and they couldnt fix them cause a ticket needed to be putcin. They double charged us twice for service as a result. Wouldnt allow me to speak to supervisor cause none were there. Call 611 and no one called back. It has been a complete nightmare. Not one person was friendly,kind or helpful. The price might be good but the hassle. Is it worth it?

I heard the FTC is after them for the 1000s of complaints of the people as with CMP (raising the rates due to power outages)with Spectrum you dont get what you pay for. Scenario: Returning a modem. Just dropping it off, didnt need anything other than to leave it with them.Time it took: 2 hours and 14 minutes.Reason: I had to wait in line while a number of customers discussed phone plans and other minutia. I asked an employee who was wandering around if I could just drop it off and be on my way. She said sadly no, a desk associate needed to check it out.I read my book on the couch while lifetime movies blasted from a giant television. After 2 hours and 9 minutes I was called up. I returned the modem and signed a piece of paper in 5 minutes. The associate I finally met with apologized for the wait. You could see she was pained by it. She said her shift had actually ended but they had such a backlog that she decided to stay and help her colleagues. Three people in the store with over 20 customers in the queue. Not okay.It is not okay. Spectrum Corporate do better. Your associates, clearly were working had and were understaffed. @Spectrum (Charter Communications): Net income attributable to Charter shareholders totaled $296 million in the fourth quarter of 2018. How about you use some of that net income to fix your horrible behavior towards customers and your own employees.

Hi everyone, I find it extremely unfair that everyone here bashes this company. Policies are set in place for a reason and most of the customers that come in are asking for unfair requests. Most of the anger here is not because of the company but because you didn’t get what you wanted. This company can only do so much for you to make things right and yes it takes a long time for things to get done but that is just how this business works. Every sales rep there wants to make sure that you are getting what you paid for and there are hoops to jump through to get it done. I have to wonder if half you complain this much about having to wait in line at a grocery store! If you come in and set up an account with this company BRING YOUR ID!!! You shouldn’t be driving without it anyway. Or if you have multiple people in your family, consider adding them as authorized users at the time of sign up! And they need an ID as well! If you don’t want to come in and drop off your stuff or wait in line you can drop it off at UPS otherwise sign in and just breathe. Covid has made life hard for EVERYONE not just you. An employee there told me that they can only have so many people working at once because of this virus and they have been working straight through this whole thing to make sure all of YOU have internet and TV at home while you all sit safely in quarantine. If you ask me you all should be thanking them! Not bashing them!

I am paying for 100 MBPS and I am getting 6.9. All they do is pinch the signal and cheat their customers! AVOID! I don’t CARE if they are dealing with COVID! If they can’t offer what we are paying for, than a reimbursement is in order. Otherwise this is theft and Maine has the worst internet in the country. There is literally no excuse for the theft we are experiencing. I understand if you can no longer offer 100 MBPS. Fine. Stop charging us for it then!

The switch over from AT&T was smooth and much faster than expected. It was definitely worth the trip into the store to get the in-person help! Keagan had my phone plan and new phone up and running quickly and was incredibly knowledgeable about the answers to all of my questions.

Couldn’t be more happy with the service I received from one specific staff member! It was quick and easy and he made it painless to set up my new Pro Max. After having U.S. Cellular and all the trouble they’ve caused me I decided to make the switch to Spectrum and I get amazing service everywhere I go! Thank you Keagan for all of your help and making the process worth while!

Staff does the best they can with the tools and processes they are given. Especially while being extremely short staffed. Wait times will decrease as more employees are hired and trained. Store can get loud when blower is going and echoes are quite annoying, but the sign in process is nice to be able to hold place in line so you can sit on the couch and relax. The payment kiosk is also super easy to operate and will avoid long wait times to just make a payment.

Just spent over an hour trying to get through to an agent to cancel the cable/phone portion of our service only to be told I would still be responsible for the bill in its entirety as we just began a new billing cycle and they will not prorate and give back credit on next months bill 🤯. First they rob you and then bend you over. Hate this company!!!!

They charged me $400 for 30 days of internet! Im not kidding. I had no prior bill, how could i, theyve been refusing me service since December over at my last place. They refused to connect me because I wouldnt let them in (during a Pandemic) but still over charged me! Than after a month of fighting and finally having my parents call they came by only outside and turned on my service, and it looks like when they came by last time they disconnected it. They are messing with me so hard, and I have 6 months of phone recordings of them denying me service Im just going to have to bring them to court! And the lawyers called me Johnny Cochran in New Hampshire, and Im going to make sure these abusive people get fired!

Lost cable connection. Called and got automated greeting stating they are experiencing higher then normal call volume, and cant take my call. Directed to go to Spectrum online, attempted, but couldnt log on. Did CMP recently buy Spectrum? The customer service seems similar, not to mention the ridiculously high monthly bill that continues to go up.

Awful experience at this store. Wanted to return my DVR/receiver in exchange for a tuning adapter for TiVo. The two, TWO whole sales associates looked at me like I was insane. They had no knowledge of the equipment they sell. After 15 minutes of waiting and numerous trips to the back to see if anyone knows anything, finally turned up that the one person who knows what that was, said they were out. After driving an hour, and no solutions to my problem, I was told theyd have to mail me equipment. Didnt even offer to help me with that. After all of that, she was still going to take my receiver and leave me without cable until I could miraculously get one delivered to me....

Worse customer service. No one knows what they are doing and you get the run around and excuses. You call them and then go into store and in person they can’t find your account, your order and give you the wrong equipment. Then call customer service and their answer is you have to go back in sorry. Today will be day 3 trying to deal with they awful service. They have the attitude of who cares if we lose customers and no matter how big a company is you should never have that. They were sued once and I can see it happening again because of how its being ran.

If I could give less than one star I would. This was the worst experience ever. Three people working and all took over 45 minutes per customer. Just wanted to pay bill. The kiosk doesnt allow you to see account and pay appropriate payment nor does it give change back so to say the least you have to wait hours to pay your bill if not able to online. I would say that you have failed tremendously spectrum.

We went to exchange a remote, and had to wait 20 min. before we were waited on. Once we were called up the rep. apologized and gave us 2 remotes! Just in case we had any problems with our other remote. When you first enter you have to login on their touch screen. It isnt very disability friendly. A blind person couldnt operate it, it was a little high for wheelchair access and I had to help an older woman figure out how to use it.

I had the worst experience, thanks to Libby, absolutely ridiculous. After she finished with the customer ahead of me she told me she would be with me in a moment. She dissapeared into the back room for 25 minutes. Her coworker who was cassualy assisting another customer, which began prior to my arrival, told me after 20 minutes Ill be with you in a second. I guess these two idiots who have nothing but time on their hands feel paying customers are willing to waste their time also. If it were my company, Id give them both the boot ASAP!!!

The sales space is loud & echoes are horrible. The air mover/blower is too loud and difficult to hear/talk over. The staff are too busy helping mobile phone customers to have time for the cable customers (wait time was about 45 minutes today). And on top of all that they aren’t even a Spectrum Hotspot!!! Really.... WTF?
