We chose Pool Works to refinish pool project. It was completed as stated in the contract agreement. We couldnt be more happier with the results. We worked with Dan and he was a great guy to work with. Please look at a few photos of Aqua Cool Puerto Rician Blend with 3 bags of glass. It really does have ( what I was looking for) that shallow Bahama-Caribbean color pop of light beautiful blue we often see in beaches and photos. It also sparkles as the sunlight hits the beads. We were so happy with the turnout we decided to use their monthly pool maintenance service. We love to swim in our pool again. Highly recommend Dan and contact Pool Works for your pool needs.

My relationship with Pool Works started when I needed my pool resurfaced two years ago. They did an excellent job so I continued with weekly pool cleanings. There was an issue about a year ago with a tech that was not completing the services that I was paying for and left the safety gate wide open in the deep end. I have two toddlers so this was especially dangerous. When speaking to the owner, we were reassured things would change and safety is their number one priority so I continued my service. Things did get better and I had no complaints until yesterday. I came home once again to the gate being left open. My childrens lives are not something Im willing to risk.

President of the company replied to my info request stating they can come out Saturday (today). I replied back that Saturday is fine. Never heard back. Sent another email reconfirming Saturday. Did not hear back, and no one showed up today.

Installed new pool equipment on our new build, friendly , knowledgeable service . Signed up for monthly service will come back and update after first month

I have been extremely pleased with our pool service provided by Pool Works. Our pool Tech Bryson always offers to do more services for us if he completes his pool maintenance early. He realizes we are an older couple with health issues and I feel he takes a personal interest in us. He has repaired minor pool screen issues, minor pool door handle issues, he has moved my pool furniture for me. He is AWESOME! Our pool is ALWAYS sparkling clean!! Thanks Bryson! Office staff is wonderful when you pay your bill by phone as well, easy and very pleasant!

We gave them a time when we would like to see them and, for the most part, they are punctual. Some of the people are better then others but if we have an issue, they do respond. We are paying more then other people in our neighborhood are paying with other companies. That would be the ONLY complaint.

Keith (the owner) and Mike go out of their way on a daily basis to make absolute sure all employees are taken care of, cared for, and treated equally. I was at the publix at Lake Wales, I had locked my keys out of my car and had been waiting for a lock smith for over an hour. One of your pool technicians had pulled in next to me asking if I needed help and I told him what happened. He pulled out a kit and got my car unlocked! Such a great team you have to be able to help whenever and for whatever! Wish I had gotten his name but I didn’t :( thank you again it means so much!

If I were rating just a couple employees, I would give 5 stars. The 1 star (that should actually be 0) are for the attitudes of management. Keith, his son, and Mike are all poor excuses for leadership roles. Neither have the compassion to keep good and loyal employees who work until they drop. Quite literally might I add. After one inconvenience, they treat the employees like garbage and I dont think they deserve such employees working for them. Learn to treat them better in and outside of work and maybe youll have better luck with happier employees. Happier employees equals better work. Better work equals better business. Its not that hard.

My experience with Pool Works started almost a year ago when we purchased a home in Auburndale with a pool and it was my first time taking care of a pool. It started off as a great experience, but there is one person in particular, that I will not name, that has ruined my view of the company. Today will be the last day I spend a single dollar at this place. I understand that it must be difficult to have to deal with multiple people that dont have the pool knowledge or experience that you do, but if you want to keep having business you need to understand that happy customers is the way to do that. Im sure I am not the first and wont be the last person that will avoid this place because of such persons negative demeanor. They are always rude and short. I really enjoyed the testing quality of the company, but I refuse to be treated like I am a bother when I am spending money too. I hope that this might just lead as a reminder that customers really do care how you treat them. Sometimes a smile and not being sarcastic will do a lot. You dont have to like people but for goodness sake, can you at least put on a fake smile and pretend to not be a miserable person. I am very patient with people and understand people have bad days. You never know what someone is going through so it is easy to judge and I apologize for calling you out. I hope that God may change your heart and you will be happy with your life again. I also hope others may not be treated the way I and now my wife has been for the last time today. I apologize for sharing my honest opinion of how I feel leaving this store every time I visit and this particular person assist me.

Noah does a great job of keeping our pool in tip top shape! We all are busy in todays world. I dont have to worry about my pool being ready for when I come home! Pool Works will take care of your needs for all pool service needs!

I am a swimming pool service provider in Hillsborough County area...I hired Pool Works to renovate my home pool. I know what to look for when getting this type of work done. Dan the sales manager came out and we talked about the unique issues my remodel required and although we had to wait about 2 months due to Covid 19...the job was finally begun and finished within one month... just in time for July 4th! The wait was worth it...the job turned out beautiful and my grandsons are using it almost daily. I would highly recommend Pool Works for your remodeling needs.

Pool Works has been taking care of my pool since we moved to Florida three years ago. Their service work has been wonderful. People friendly and always very proactive with the maintenance. Thomas has been my maintenance man the entire time and we could not ask for a better man to take care of our pool.If you need anything from basic maintenance to having the motors, pumps, replaced or repaired this would be my first and only choice in this area.

When we finally decided we were able to consider resurfacing our 20+ year old pool, we checked out several local companies and invited each to bid on our project. The Pool Works representative who talked to us was friendly and informative and not at all pushy. We asked lots of questions and everything was explained before we signed anything. Because of the age and condition of the pool, we had to bring in a leak detection company that quickly found the problem and fixed it same day. The actual resurfacing process was a lot more straightforward than we imagined and the crews were friendly, efficient, and more than happy to answer any of our questions and help us meet our timeline. Once started, the process moved along quickly and in no time, it seems, the pool was being refilled and now we are enjoying daily swims more than ever before. The pool looks super inviting, functions exactly the way it was always supposed to, and we feel that the final price has been an exceptional value and certainly money well spent. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for anyones pool repair needs.

Our pool guy Thomas does a fantastic job! Our pool is always sparkling clean and clear. Never had any issues. As a matter of fact, we were away one time and our pool level was down. I forgot and turned the water off, thereby defeating the purpose of having an automatic filler. When Thomas came to do his service he shut the pool down and called me on my cell phone. I told him where the shutoff valve was and he got everything up and running again. Service above and beyond, great job Thomas!

The worest I just call them to get my pool clean and they told me they dont clean and to go I and buy acid and bleach WOW! I WAS SHOCK THOUGHT THIS POOL COMPANY WAS A CLEANING COMPANY.

We just recently moved into this rental property that has a contract with Pool Works. For the first few months no issues, service great and on time. Then, trouble, but I reached out to Keith and he has been great. He has worked diligently to correct the problems with the pool and communicated with me. Anytime I email him he has replied and actions occurred. I only give a 4 because I want to see consistency and only time will tell. Stay tuned!

Not the best in pool service. My pool has never looked worse! Had to call multiple times because they never showed up. Over charge and then only chlorinate never sweep or vacuum. Had to ask them to do that. Once he came out and put chemical in as he was leaving 2 minutes after getting to my home I asked if he could vacuum it he said no he didn’t have time!

My family & I come in once a month for chlorine. The man at the front completely ignored me when I came in today and I waited over 10 minutes while he was talking with someone. He could have said Hello or someone will be with you or I’ll will be right with you” I finally spoke up and said “can I get some help I need a chlorine fill up?” His response was short and rude like I was of unimportants to him. Very bad look very unprofessional to someone who has been a faithful customer for over 30 years. All the other times I have been in I have had wonderful customer service, been greeted and taken care of in a very professional way. I hope someone has a talk with that man. I run a small business and that is very unacceptable for a business owner or employee to ignore their customers that way and not greet them or acknowledge them. I’m assuming he is the owner or manger because his face is plastered all over the website. Hopefully someone can remind him that to keep a bussiness going you need to be polite to your customers. Thanks.

The worst experience ever had with any company. First of, neither Tri Florida Water Treatment, Inc not the underlining company Pool Works are accredited by the better business bureau, first red flag. The actual work would be described as mediocre and such accusation deserves an explanation:1.The first day, Cory, the cleaning guy came out after the consultation with the route manager, Mike Foster, Cory managed to irresponsibly spill/drop Muratic Acid on the pool pavers(border and deck) staining them for life. A conversation with the route manager arrived at a resolution of either replacing the pavers or a $500 credit to the account, however, when the route manager came to ‘inspect’ the damage done, no one was home to hold his hand around the pool and he only ‘saw’ two spots. When the additional spots everywhere were brought up following a phone call after his initial inspection, Mr. foster advised that he would have to come back and see the rest of the damage. To our surprise, Mr. Foster advised that the damaged appeared to be non related and he would have to have the “pavers guys” come out and perform an inspection of the damage as it didn’t appear to be related. The pool was days old and the only issues with the builder were non deck related which were brought forth to Pool Works from the beginning of our relationship. Needless to say, no one ever came to inspect the pavers, no one even replaced the two pavers that was attested to by the company, nor the $500(which is noted the damage to the pool is definitely well over $500) were ever credited to the account.2. Meanwhile, while the pavers issue was taken with the route manager the actual pool guy was continuing to create disturbances of his own. Every single time the route approached, the day before, we to leave instructions as to remind him what his job duties were. Brushing, vacuuming, filter, skimmer and continuously had to check after his work to make sure I’d been done. The issues from staining the pavers permanently, to, mismanaging the pool filter and the filter’s holder leaving water leaking everywhere and forcing the filter back into its ‘shell’ in a way that almost ruined the equipment and of course the lack of comprehension to perform the minimal and basic duties(brushing, vacuuming) led to two attempts to contact the owner of the company. First attempt to contact the owner to the office was approached with “he’s out hunting” if I recall correctly in Colorado. I asked for his cell phone number for a second and direct approach for which a voicemail was left and never returned. Lastly, Text communication was sent to Mike Foster on October 24th, 2017 of the fact that nothing had been going as smooth as promised therefore a route service guy change was requested and as response Mr. foster advised that they would just no longer be servicing the pool(Mr. foster advised that he would come one more time himself, clean it and never come back and nothing would be charged which never happened, never saw them again) and that we didn’t owe ‘anything’. Mr. Foster was replied with the reminder that there were outstanding issues and the shock of poor customer service.The pavers remain stained and, today, November 14th, 2017 I receive a bill for their services for $210, $70 pro rata for September and $140 for the month of October... No one has approached us regarding the pavers nor any tipe of credit for now, almost a month.It must be noted that during the pavers “investigation” I attempted to pay Mike Foster for the services and he advised that he would NOT take any payment until all issues were resolved as he stated “we are not holding to our part of the deal”.The promise was “once you hire us, you never have to touch that pool never again unless for swimming in it” said route manager - Mike Foster.
