I had to get my truck inspected but my check engine light was on. I brought it in and it was diagnosed and fixed by the end of the work day. I brought it back a few days later to have it inspected and it went very smoothly. The employees were very friendly and helpful, and I will return for future repairs!

I brought my car in without an appointment and I was able to get right in. The managers were very patient and friendly and explained what was wrong with my car. I didn’t have to wait long before I was back on the road. I would definitely recommend Mavis for car repairs!

I took my truck there this morning to get some tires put on my truck and they declined me after I told them specifically what I had yesterday when I made my appointment. Their excuse was that the truck would teeter on their lift. My truck has been on numerous lifts in the past and never once teetered on a 2 post lift. I ended up taking it somewhere else that has the same exact 2 post lifts to get it done. In my opinion the workers they have a just plain lazy. And this isn’t my first bad encounter with Mavis. I’ll never be going back to them that’s for sure!

I’m pretty sure I worked with Josh and Cody when I came in looking for an aggressive tire for my small SUV and inspection.After talking to the guys for a few minutes to discuss what I wanted they made a few phone calls and came up with an alternative size and a beautiful tire that would fit my Jeep perfectly.The very next morning the tires had been delivered and they got me right in and got them put on and did the state inspection.I am extremely happy with the fast service, they treated me and my property with respectI will be back for other services!‼️🥇😁

Had a muffler system put in and hanger brackets rusted out within three years and that broke the muffler piping ( dont blame the weather I go south in the winter) due to low quality/substandard parts. And also when they did an inspection they stripped the lug nut then made me believe they fixed it but I had to go to a professional mechanic to pay to have it repaired properly. NO MORE HERE FOR ME !

Ive been to this location several times for my truck, wifes SUV and my daughters car over the past couple years. Weve purchased tires, had routine maintenance done, as well as some brake work done. The manager, Collin, has been very accommodating and his estimates are always good from timing and costs. The work has been great with good pricing too.

Mavis discount tire does more than just tires. I called in the morning and they got me in within 2 hours. They did my brakes. Rotors and pads for the front. They kept me updated on everything they did. I was so very happy with the knowledge that they all had and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely send them business and will definitely go back to have my back brakes done. Very great place. Very knowledgeable staff. Very clean waiting room. 5 stars from me.

I needed a state inspection, and after I registered online for an appointment I stopped into Mavis on Genessee St in Auburn on a Saturday afternoon. I went for a walk while I waited. They were able to inspect my car and called me to tell me the one little thing it needed (wiper blades) and get my approval. Then it was done and ready to go sooner than I had expected. A very satisfying experience all around.

I’ve been several times and I’ve always found the service to be professional, very competitively priced, and prompt. I’ve been for everything from alignments and tire repairs, to simple oil changes and it’s always been a pleasant experience without issue, even with a baby and toddler in tow. I definitely recommend this shop.

In November I went to mavis for a New York inspection. They told me that I needed front brake pads and rotors. When I said that it was impossible because I just had brake put on it 500 miles ago. When I told them I now how to do inspections they told me no charge you can go. I when to another place and they pass it with no problems. I won’t ever go there again

I worked with Dustin (I believe) to get tires for my wifes Grand Cherokee. He was very professional and friendly. We ordered tires and they came in and were mounted the next day! They were shorthanded the day my tires came in and Dustin, who is one of the managers, was actually helping the team doing the installations. It is very nice to see management that is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. I will definitely be coming back to Mavis for my future tire needs!

Had appointment to replace my tail pipes on my 2017 Chevy pick-up.They could not find any parts store that had my pipes, so they made repairs and got me on my way. Great job and very knowing guys. Not very impressed. Dropped my car off to put the tires that I had ordered days before. Dropped the car off at 1pm called at 430 and still wasnt done was told that they were just bringing it in. Showed up at 540 and still wasnt done and then was told when I asked if there was any issues that there wasnt any but they had to use a sledgehammer to get them off. Not happy or impressed at all. I thought that was the reason for making appointments is so they could get your stuff done at that time.

Went in for an oil change and they got my car right in. I was vary happy with the service and the way I was treated. I will definitely be returning for future repairs as well as martens.

RIPPED ME OFF. WENT TO MAVIS BECAUSE MY CAR WAS MISFIRING. THEY SAID IT WAS BECAUSE I NEEDED MY COILS, SPARK PLUGS AND FUEL INJECTORS REPLACED. THEY DID THE WORK, A WEEK LATER THE MISFIRING STARTED AGAIN. I RETURNED TO THEM AND THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHY. I TOOK THE. EHICLE TO SOMEONE ELSE AND THEY INFORMED METHAT THE FUEL INJECTORS HAD NOT BEEN REPLACED. CONTACTED MAVIS AND SPOKE TO THE STORE MANAGER WHO INFORMED ME HE WOULD INVESTIGATE. 2 WEEKS LATER AFTER ME PLACING SEVERAL CALLS TO THE STORE AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. IM PROCEEDING TO TAKE THEM TO COURT. MAVIS TAKES ADVANTAGE OF FEMALE CUSTOMERS AND ONCE EXPOSED DO NOTHING TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. WOMEN BEWARE!!!!!!

Use to be Firestone, same POS with the tire problem decade ago. They just renamed themselves, closed down the old garage on North street and moved here. Same poor service with people they hire off the street, and learn as they go, with them experimenting on your car. Fyi, truck was misaligned and brought it back to have them fix it. Manager and staff were making fun of a customer as I arrived. When I told them about the problem, they were still joking, and refused to fix it. All new parts in suspension too! Yet the manager said his tech had a tough time with it. Did not have the right tools to adequately reach the adjusters. This I found out after i went back with vehicle front tires wearing hard on the inside tread. They refused to fix the alignment nor refunded the cost, just continued laughing at the customers with problems. I took the vehicle to MIDAS and they fixed it right the first time. I did call you when it happened too, and your customer service representative refused to assist. STORE had poor service and you customer service help line was just as bad.

Everyone is really friendly. I like to call first to see how busy they are. It usually helps. If you go when they are not that busy youre usually in and out pretty quickly.

Some great people working there. They did a great job putting on the new tires and well be back. Only complaint is we ordered ahead of time- had an appointment and when I showed up - a tire was missing. They apologized and had us come next day at my convenience. Also, they gave us a discount for the inconveniences as well.

Dustin and Cody are the best , I have done a lot of business at this location over the years (ie coles) but the professionalism and courtesy has never been better, they talk to you, an actual conversation, instead of rushing you off the phone and or speaking down to you , and my car was in and out fast !!No more squeaky breaks or broken springs and new shocks to boot!!Car has never been better since it was new.....my faith has been restored at this location!! 5 ☆s :)

Went there thinking I had a bad wheel bearing and breaks but the guys were great and honest and it was the tires all new tires and the car is running great again what just a set of new tires does to a car

Made an appointment to get my car inspected. Many people came in after me and their cars were taken care of before mine. I understand that you have to have a special license to inspect but I fail to understand why it took 3 hours after my initial appointment time for them to inspect my car.I was then told my car failed inspection but they would fix it and replace the tires. Had they inspected my car at my appointment time I would have paid to have it fixed and the tires replaced there but as it was I paid the $21 and went else where.I am also wary of their inspections as when I went to get the car fixed I was told that part did not need to be replaced and though my tires needed to be replaced for the winter they did not warrant a failed inspection. Be wary.

My boyfriend was checking the pressure on our tires when the stem broke on one of them and the tire went flat. They would not help him they told him to walk up to goodyear maybe they could get him in. Are you Kidding?!?!?! Very rude manager. Finally someone came out and helped him change the tire because it was freezing out. There was one car in the bay and really no one waiting. Would NEVER recommend doing business with them. This is not the first time they have turned us away either.

First to start this out, if you want a place that is gonna up sell you pointless repairs, that most likely dont need to be done, go here. If they tell you, you need any type of high amount of work done, ALWAYS get a second opinion. Now, to start out my 2 very horrible experiences with this Mavis. The first time, my wife and I took our car here with a slight noise coming from the front of our car when we took turns and a tire sensor was bad. They diagnosed everything and came back with an $2000+ repair. The next day, the tire sensor light came back on after have 2 replaced, and the noise was a powering steering pump, so they claimed, and it went from only making the noise when we turned to happening all the time. Took the car back there to have it looked it and fixed correctly, was greeted by a VERY rude manager by the name of Rob, was very unhelpful and had to result in getting the D.M ED involved. Met with the DM and Rob, two days later, which I was told by ED, you know this is only impala, so you should stop dumping money into it. After that they went threw the car to see if they could figure out how to stop the noise, I requested the power steering pump to be replaced, which I was met with every hurdle imaginable for over 2 hours, which ended up turning into, them returning my money for the pump and saying they have no idea how to fix it. Now, recently, I was coming back from Syracuse when my belt tension snapped off and left me with no steering. Go threw all my car repairs and sure enough when I had the 2000 dollar worth of repairs done in January of this year, they replaced that also. So, I call on Tuesday 11/20/18, takes me 5 times to finally get threw to some type of manager, which then I was greeted on the phone by a very rude Asst. Manager named Cody, I tell him what happened, he tells me theyll replace the piece but wont tow it, I try to reason with him to get a tow as I have no way in doing so, and shouldnt have to pay for something I didnt break. As Im trying to discuss this with him, hes getting noticeably irritated and as the conversation starts to take a turn, I ask for the DMs number, which I was met with a hang up. So, I get my mother out in the cold snowy weather to take to me to Mavis to see how we can get this fixed, first Im met in the parking lot by a blue hatchback in bay 1 with the music blaring and the manager Rob laughing as customers sit in the waiting room looking around trying to figure out whats going on. Then, once I enter the business, Im greeted by a VERY rude Asst. Manager named Cody, who informs me, he hung up, because I was being cocky. As I try to explain my situation to him, he is over talking me and has no interested in trying to please me as his shop messed up. We come to agreement and I get my Father in Law to come all the to Auburn to tow me. Once we arrive at Mavis, the parking lot is absolutly full, with no where to park. So I go in and ask the Manager Rob and Asst. Manager Cody where to park, where Im told by both to just pull it forward and make sure it isnt on the sidewalk and leave it and we will move it when a car leaves. So we do just that. After we move it, I go to walk the keys back into Cody, where Im greeted by the door, by a guy named Dustin sitting in a black jeep. He states I cant park the car there and if I cant move it, then find another place to do your work. Please read the rest in the picture.

I wish I could give this place less than a 1 Star! They were supposed to switch out two right hand side tires that one was bad and one was a donut. Instead they switched out the donut for a new tire and threw one of the good tires away and the next evening she was going to the laundry mat with her toddler son and ended up getting stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire. The mechanic even admitted he messed up yet the managers response was they would dig threw the trash tires when he got a chance and give her the tire back. Way to go Mavis!! Being such a large corporation you would think you can afford to fix your mess up by providing a new tire to this girl without any cost. Smh what terrible customer service. I will NEVER go here and everyone I know will know what happened.

Be aware, appointments do not mean anything at this location. You can set an appointment, and show up and be told it is first come first serve.The management in this location is absurd as well. There is a slimy, greasy kid with glasses that goes around and sadly believes that yelling at the employees and reminding them of his management position will increase output. Mavis should spend a few dollars and send them is clown to a management class.Overall, I had an appointment set and still waited over 2 1/2 hours for an oil change.

In my experience they were not staight forward, slow and not forthright.
