Ill always take my car to Auburn City Imports! My car is an 03 Honda CRV and runs as good as it did when I bought it.

My mom was having trouble with her check engine light and other warning lights coming on. She took it to Toyota in Auburn and they told her it would cost $9,700 to repair her 2012 Toyota Corolla. They even tried charging her more than she was quoted for the inspection, but my tough 72 year old mom stuck to her guns. Anyhow, we had heard from friends good things about Auburn City Imports. So she took it there, they allowed her to come down same day with no appointment. They turned off the warning lights and sent her on her way free of charge. A couple weeks later the warning lights were back on again. She took it back to them today. They diagnosed it as (her words) some fuse or real sensitive contact point. And for this second visit where they found the root problem, and fixed it, they again did not charge her for the inspection. I cannot thank you enough for the peace of mind you give us, and especially my older mom, with something that is generally highly stressful to her. Thank you so much!!

I’ve been coming to Auburn City Imports for 20 years with my Honda cars for both light and major maintenance. After it came off warranty by the Oregon dealer, they kept our ‘96 Odyssey running for over 300K. miles w/ no transmission repair and no major engine repair beyond standard maintenance. Now that they’re servicing all Asian makes, I’m bringing my just-bought “cream puff” 2005 Lexus with over 100K miles to them. They are always top notch in their work, expertise, friendly service, and have the most modest charges for high quality work. Got japanese car? They can fix it! They specialized in acura/ honda cars but i also take my infiniti for fare wear n tear problem.

This spring I had to decide whether to buy another car or have the engine completely rebuilt on my Honda. After much research, consideration & time I decided to have ACI rebuild. Even with all my phone calls & questions while deciding, everyone I talked to here was patient, knowledgeable & friendly. This also was a factor in my decision. During the rebuild I was kept in the loop for any surprises (which can mos def happen during a rebuild). The rebuild was completed within the estimate that was given; Ive been driving it daily ever since. Couldnt be more satisfied. Also, the shop is clean & the crew organized. Im happy to refer anyone here.

I chose to NOT have my car repairs done here because he quoted me $900 for just the part. I looked it up and it ranges from $168 - &238?!?!?! Wow!

I will always take my car to ACIAR. My car needed interior and engine work; and everything was done with care and pride. I have an older vehicle, and parts had to be found- Every step of the way I was called and told the status of the parts and labor. The professional attitude, and the way I was treated, meant so much to me. I appreciate and know hard work, and this business is the very definition of each.

Always friendly staff, they take the time to explain what’s wrong with your car and what your options are to fix it. If there’s something that needs to be done but isn’t urgent, they let you know and never push an unnecessary repair on you. I take both my Toyota and Honda here for maintenance and upkeep. Highly recommend them!

Always great service!They dont try to upsell you unnecessary repairs. They actually talk with me about the maintenance needs for my SUV, and offer sound insight, so that I can make appropriate decisions to keep my vehicle running smooth.(Many auto repair shops assume women no nothing about cars and its so frustrating!)

I noticed oil on my spark plugs/wires and I called Auburn City Imports to see what the problem might be. The representative immediately knew what the issue might be. He was able to quote me a rough estimate on the cost and suggested I schedule a time and drop off my car.After I dropped off my car, it was fixed on time and the price was actually lower than their estimate. I appreciate their fast service and honesty with me on the phone and in person.

I have had my car repaired here twice .... best shop for my older Honda... my repairs were fairly priced and the explanation of the repairs was honest and fair. My car is running so much better and I am a return customer without a doubt.

What an unexpected surprise! The extensive engine and wheel bearing work done on my 1998 Honda Civic was completed on time and under the estimate by a couple of hundred dollars. A less scrupulous dealer would either have done the work initially thought necessary or charged for the work that was estimated but not necessary. Took my 2016 Honda HR-V EX AWD for a rear differential fluid change. Paid just under $70.00 for the service, better than paying $140.00 for the same service at the Honda dealership. So if you have a Honda or Acura, whether old or new, take your car to these guys. You will not only save money, but get real customer service without the upsell.

We have been coming to Auburn City Imports for over 10 years. Two replaced engines in our teens Honda Civic (teens fault) that is still running, and now service for our new Acura. They have always given us good advice that saves us money. See you in a few weeks for our 35K check up. So nice to have such a reliable auto shop to turn to.

This is Alan, Janets hubby. We live in Everett. Our daughter lives south of us and works in Auburn. I got a call from her on a Friday - she had a shredded fan belt, late in the afternoon. I was about to head down there when she called again - she found your shop, which got her in and installed the belt for her, quickly, for a very reasonable $50 labor charge. My daughter thus missed only a little bit of work at her job, and I didnt need to make the trek. You guys rock !!! Too bad you dont have a shop up closer this way. If you have a Acura Rsx dont take your car to this place . I brought my car in on Tuesday Jan 23 for a p1129 code . I told the owner the code And he told me dont worry they would take car if it lol . They Charged me 430.00 for a part my car didnt even need and then sent me on my way told me my car was fixed . Soon as I tried driving it about a hour later or two it broke down again and the same code came up Map sensor. So I took it back and told him he didnt fix it and then the next day he called me saying its the Map sensor and he wanted me to pay him 240.00 to put it In . So I told my cousin who knows a little bit about cars and he went with me to take it back and thats when the real truth came out . The person who was working on my car said he had never put a map sensor in a car the whole 30 plus years this place has been open . And then I got really mad cus they took 430.00 from me for no reason and they still never fixed my car . So dont believe all the hype about them saying they work on Asian cars cus they dont . If you got a problem and they cant fix it or dont know how they wont tell you just throw parts at it . And now Im out 430.00 from some liars .

I have a 1999 Acura 3.2TL that developed a rather sudden oil leak that was leaving a new puddle after every drive. It was time for a timing belt service anyway, so I brought my car to Auburn City Imports. It was explained to me that my car had “several oil and coolant leaks. The bottom of the engine and transmission are oily with some coolant mixed in. We resealed the main bearing cap bolts and replaced the oil filter base gasket/spool valve filter. There is a slight oil leak from the oil pump housing. There is a small coolant drip from the coolant bleed screw on the back of the block. We tightened the fitting.” (From my work order.) Two engine mounts were replaced. Of the explained oil leaks, I declined to fix the “slight oil leak”.I got my car back, it continued to leak a significant amount of oil on the ground. Prior to this leak, the car had never left any trace of fluids on the garage floor. I took the car back to the shop and on this trip, they found the cause of the leak to be from the head gasket but could not determine the cause of the new vibration I was feeling when the car was in gear. A blown head gasket is a major repair that was missed on my initial visit and easier to fix while the car is partially apart for the timing belt/water pump service. I took my car home and slept on the situation. Calling the shop the next day and expressing my frustration that I wished they had found this leak on the first visit, the shop would accept no responsibility for “your leaky old car”. At a quality establishment, I would expect them to be embarrassed that they had overlooked this issue and want to rectify the problem. Of course there would be a cost, but Auburn City Imports position was that it wasn’t their fault and they quoted me a full price on the fix $1500. Additionally, they had never seen that engine leak from that location.I decided to take the time and do the job myself. While disassembling the engine, I found that the upper engine mount bracket had not been tightened down to the engine (from the previous service). I also found the source of the oil leak, a head bolt had broken by the oil port right by where I was experiencing my leak.I will not be having Auburn City Imports do any work on my cars again.

You took advantage of my friend who took thier car there. you guys collected over 500.00 and the car was still not running. the car was taken somewhere else it was fixed for 110.00!!!!!! and was actually fixed. Then you offered free work for the bad review to be taken down. Why would they want free work when you couldnt fix it when thet paid you. Shame on you

Decided to take a Toyota here for a pre-buy inspection, decided someone who knows how twin cam Japanese engines work should be able to inspect a similar engine. The only reason im leaving two stars is because he managed to nail an oil leak source, the rest of my deduction is on a poor inspection and poor professionalism.I called the shop about 4 times, 2 of the times leaving my number and explaining that I am the potential buyer of the car. After the car was inspected the owner of the car had to call me and tell me to call the shop... How hard is it to write down a number? No problem there, Ive dealt with unprofessional shops before.My main issue with this shop is that during the inspection the mechanic didnt spend any of his time inspecting mechanical issues, instead he spent his time pointing out that the body has never had major work done on it, and that it had lowered springs. (Yes thanks, I am also a human that has hands and eye-balls)Shortly after having the car inspected at this shop I decided that the mechanic clearly did not inspect the engine thoroughly like I asked so I took it too a Toyota specialist that says it has camgear issues similar to a Honda, with several other issues.This shop charged me $95 for the inspection, and the mechanic only told me about the leak and none of the other problems. Im willing to bet the mechanic never even bothered to turn on the engine or drive it, since it only took him 50 minutes instead of the 2 hours estimate he gave me, and he completely missed the camgear rattle on startups, which is an issue more common to Hondas than Toyotas.Im also willing to bet the staff of this shop confused me as the seller, considering they tried to bill the seller and never called me, the buyer, who was also paying for the inspection.In all honesty I should leave 1-star for not only wasting my time, but also wasting $95 that I had to spend again at a more competent shop that would actually listen to their customers and inspect the engine like asked.*Edit*1-Star is more appropriate, this inspection should have been free.

Not recomended , they charge 160 for nothing , I want to fix my 06 acura had the check engine light on , they just reset the code and told me need a gas cap , i bought new gas cap and same thing , honda of sumner fix it .
