They educated us on what would work best for our house and they were patient while we made our decision. Not once did we feel we were dealing with a salesman. We absolutely love what this product has done for us. We now have privacy without obstructing our view of the lake and it has made a huge difference in the temperature of our rooms!! We get that late afternoon full sun exposure and we have not had to turn the air conditioning on! When our neighbors are putting their shades down during the day were still enjoying our view of the lake without the heat!! We could not be more pleased with this company or the products they offer! Michigan Glass Coatings installed 3M film on our southern exposer windows. We needed this for two reasons, reduction of sun reflection onto our grass which was burning and reduce the suns heat in the house. This film accomplished both. We found Michigan Glass Coatings on Google and hired them to frost over 20 windows in our apartment communities new fitness room. The process from start to finish was extremely easy, and they were so professional! The price was great and I love that the film comes with a warranty. Needed tempered glass for a bedroom conversion to bath. Could not get final permit approval without tempered glass and thought I would have to replace a $500+ Anderson window. Inspector told me about a filming process that turns regular glass to approved tempered product. Looked on Yelp and company had great reputation. Called and Agata set me up and everything was done quickly and cleanly and professionally. Would recommend.

I was happy with my service from Michigan glass Coatings from start to finish. Emily in the office, Craig who came out to give an estimate and my installer were all friendly and informative people. They came when they said they would which is rare these days. The installer got right to work and did a fine job. Even though mine was a small job ( 2 windows and a door) I didnt feel like they treated me with any less importance than a big job. Im very happy with the product used on my windows and the privacy it affords me.

I wanted to reduce the solar effects of the southern and western exposure windows in my new house not only because of the heat in the summer, but also because of the harmful UV light and the fading it would cause to my new furniture. Very happy I came across Michigan Glass Coating via a web search. I was looking for a solution to address sunlight changes in my living room because we lost a tree that provided a good amount of shade. I didnt need new windows, but did need a solution to reduce UV and help with temperature control in the room. MGC was very helpful in explaining the various 3M products, installation and care. Living in an up and coming neighborhood in Detroit, I was looking for a security film for my first floor and basement windows and glass doors. The entire project from my initial contact to the actual install date was done within the week too! The installers were very professional and receptive to my critique of one of the doors and fixed it for me immediately. I received great support from their office staff as well!Overall, I am very happy with the work. It was a bit more than I expected it’d be though. But, you can’t put a price on safety and security.

This is a great company and Dave went to great lengths to get our small job done. We only had a week before heading back to warmer climes when we decided to have the windows done. Not only did he get the job done on time but replaced most of the clips that held the window because they were missing. He also cleaned our outside windows before putting the storms back up. We are happy with the results.
