Robin is phenomenal! I went in with an idea and told her to run with it! Im glad i trusted her to do her thing, i couldnt be more pleased with the outcome!! Haircut by Doris, hands down one of the worst Ive had, both in terms of appearance and execution. She couldnt care less, made my part line in the wrong place and tried to cover it up, scratched up my neck, got water in my ears, the whole shebang. There were other hairdressers there who seemed nice so its unfortunate.

Tyler is absolutely amazing!!! Made my first time in here the best! Definitely the best cut and color Ive had in so long! Im going to be a regular now!!!

Very nice staff. Tyler does a great job with my haircut. Scheduling is best done by calling. Online option is there, but not as efficient as just calling.

I got my hair highlighted by Kristin, and it came out looking better than ever before! Ive been getting highlights for about 6 years now, and I dont think its ever looked this natural. Very impressed.

Amanda was amazing. And even though I was a walk in/fit in she took her time and gave me a new do. And I appreciate that!!

Went in with some over grown roots and damaged bleached hair & came out a whole new person! Tyler created a replica (even better) than the reference photo I showed him. My hair feels silky and soft to the touch now! This experience was 100/10. Definitely recommend!!

This was my first experience going to get my hair done anywhere, and Amanda absolutely provided out-of-this-world service. If you walk in this building, you should be asking for Amanda!

Long story short...Beautiful Salon & Excellent Service! I usually dont write reviews due to privacy but I tell you that Ive had an excellent experience here at Serenity Hair Salon on my 1st visit so I have returned for the 2nd time. Yes! I checked them out before coming initially and the salon was clean & chic. They are very cautious about Covid-19 and take every precaution in making sure the salon is sanitized and safe for clients & the staff. I met with Robin, one of the owners and she was so friendly & welcoming so I decided to give it a try. My Nail Technician Christine is absolutely awesome! She did a great job on my mani & pedi and it was so relaxing and comfortable. My Hairstylist, Doris is Great! She did an amazing job on my hair! (2 times ) I love it!!! Plus, I get a lot of compliments while out. The location is cool, parking is plentiful, prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly & professional so with that, Ill be back!

This was my first time at Serenity and I couldnt be happier. My cut was perfect and the styling was even better. Mandie did a phenomenal job. I will definitely be going back soon!

Tyler the guru of hair coloring in my opinion one of the most talented stylists I have encountered to this day and I have had a lot of folks from different salons like salon 6 In Royal Oak not even come close to the type of quality and finished product he produces! I highly recommend him to anyone who is ready to experiment with a new shade of color for the season!

Made an appointment for a relaxer treatment after struggling with my natural texture for years.. I was so nervous to go back to relaxed hair I was considering cancelling. Doris is a true professional and took amazing care of my hair. She gave me an adorable cut along with some product suggestions and maintenance tips to keep it healthy. Totally restored my confidence, and those close to me have definitely noticed. Now Ill have more time to enjoy life instead of fighting with my hair everyday! Ill be returning for sure :)

I saw the rating and went for keratin treatment. I paid 350$ and my hair still seem so dry and dead. Im not at all satisfied with the service. Within a week my hair started seeing dry and frizzy.This is not the first time that I had done keratin, but this time I decided to go for this salon and Im not at all satisfied.

After reviewing multiple salons, I decided to go to Serenity due to its high ratings. Robin greeted me with a welcome smile and listened to my requirements keenly. Though she has 25+ years of experience, the interest she showed in knowing what kind of haircut I wanted left me pretty amazed. Robin patiently did haircut to me for 45 minutes and the result was amazing. From long hair to shoulder length cut with layers, the change over Robin did to me was more than I expected. The people over there are very friendly. I would definitely recommend Serenity salon to everyone.

I have finally found a hair salon that is able to do exactly what I want! Saw Trish the other day and was incredibly happy with my hair. I have been to several different salons in the area and have been disappointed every time, but not at Serenity! Trish was knowledgeable and highly skilled. I had my hair highlighted (no small feat since I have dark dark brown hair so it always takes multiple steps), and cut into a totally different style and loved the outcome of both! I received so many compliments the next day on how healthy and great my hair looked. I have already recommended Trish to several of my friends! And every person I saw walk out looked great. The staff here is definitely great at what they do! Thank you Serenity!

I have been going to Serenity in Auburn Hills for many years because of a neighbors recommendation. I have always been pleased with my cut and color because Robin takes the time to ask what I want; she knows my busy lifestyle and gives me a cut that I can do quickly and efficiently. She knows what looks best on me and will tell me if I want something that wont work. I trust her completely because she and all the other employees are true professionals. I know they go to hair shows to keep abreast of the latest styles and techniques so that tells me that they truly care about their clients.

Today was my first time at Serenity and I went in there for a hair cut. And I have to say this is the first cut Ive had where I did not come back feeling a mixed emotion of love and hate over my new hair style. My stylist Bridget did an amazing job and I love my new cut. Shes also a very down to earth person who certainly knew what she was doing. I think Ive found a stylist Id like to keep going back to!

Sarah and the rest of the Serenity Salon team did a phenomenal job doing hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding day. Sarah was a pleasure to work with. She is warm and friendly, and did a great job listening to my preferences and incorporating them into my overall look. She is great at doing both hair and makeup, and I would highly recommend both her and Serenity Salon to anyone.

I had the urge to go shorter today and couldnt find an opening anywhere. I hadnt been devoted to any one salon in particular, so I thought I would give Serenity a try. They got me right in for an appointment. Trish did an amazing job with my cut! I came in with an awkward, grown-out cut and very thick hair. She worked her magic. You can tell she is experienced/knowledgeable and has an eye for what will work for you specifically. I will be a loyal customer to Serenity and Trish! Also, they have a recycling program where you bring in empties of products you purchased there and you get 10%off your next product purchase! Loved my experience here!

I have been going to this salon for about 9yrs and would/will not go elsewhere. Brandon is awesome! About a year ago I decided to make a change in my color and to sum up a year of many shades...he has always produced amazing results. Customer service is outstanding. The staff is always friendly and dedicated to making everyone look good :)

I just visited here for the first time and Trish cut and colored my hair. The salon is very nice and they have a wide variety of products. Trish was wonderful and gave me exactly what I wanted. She really listened to my preferences and was very friendly too. The price was not at all unreasonable. I will return!

Highly over rated place. Please do not visit this place if you want to have a good haircut. I visited this place recently for a haircut and I was highly disappointed by the service I received. My haircut was done by Christen, and she did a terrible job. To begin with, I had long hair and wanted to get layers done and reduce the length of my hair. I showed a picture of the kind of haircut I want to have.The lady did a terrible job and I did not get my hair done as per my expectation. My haircut was nowhere close to the picture i showed. I guess it is not that difficult to get layers done . She just tried to finish my haircut within 15 minutes, as she had another client after me. Even though I had taken an appointment.I plan never to visit this place again.I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I would give a 0 star if I could. The salon called the day before to confirm my appointment & sent a confirmation email. I got to the salon for my appointment and its closed. I stood outside and called the salon to receive zero help. All I got was I can have the owner call you. That doesnt help get my hair done for a special occasion. Thank you SO MUCh for the amazing costumer service.

OMG i moved from NY and have had such a hard time finding a hair stylist I could trust with my hair and close home. Doris was amazing she answered my questions about my hair and struck conversations with me. I would say a SHAMPOO AND BLOWDRY along with a hair trim and flat ironing my hair came out to $75 it was expensive but its Auburn Hills....I hope it holds out

Donna is the BEST hair stylist ever. She has taken my hair from a frizzy brown permed mess to a beautiful, smooth, non-permed healthy look She taught me how to take care of my hair and style it to flatter my face. Maria also did a fantastic job at blow dry boot camp.

If you want a pleasant experience, go elsewhere! The owner Robin is pretentious and snobby. She acts as though saying hello to and talking to clients is beneath her. She is rude and totally unprofessional. I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know to never go there either.

Very good! You mentioned roger, robin, brandon,etc. lol. Can I say, this is a false review and Robin, you should be ashamed of yourself. For whoever Laura S is......lol........ya better make sure you write another one for your friend/family at Serenity. Past review writers dont get emails telling them that there is a review of the shop, Serenity does. Sorry Robin, it is the truth and truth hurts. By the way Laura S, I was there about 6 times in a VERY short period of time and except for the 1 time that Robin had to fix Rogers 2 cuts, I paid 50.00 + tip each time.
