The staff there are great. My salesman’s name was Scott. My girlfriend and I initially came in back in February to pass the time waiting for our movie to start. Scott greeted us and began showing us a few things as we were looking at rings. He was very personable and engaging. Never forcing anything on us but giving a lot to think about. Outside of his great customer service Jared’s offer some killer perks with the warranties. I didn’t want to buy the ring with my girl right there so I waited. Scott kept in touch and would call whenever they had a promo that would save me some money. Fast forward to a couple of days ago I came back and bought the ring and will be popping the question in a few days. I’ll be back!

I purchase all of my jewelry here. I always get a warm hello and a sincere how can I help you when I walk in. I always purchase the warranty for my jewelry. This means I come in every six months to get it inspected and I never have any issues. I had recently come in to make a large purchase after getting approved instantly for a credit card online. Tanya was very helpful, kind, and friendly during my sale. I enjoy shopping at this location!

Very friendly and efficient service for jewelry repair. I would recommend them BUT having said that, the sale representative definitely choose a size too big for repairing my ring. It spins on my finger and almost falls off. Im disappointed about this. I should have gone with what I thought was the best size.

I have bought many pieces of jewelry from this location over the years. I have had jewelry repair done, and had my two diamond bands soldered to the engagement ring , it turned out beautiful. Their jewelers that fix , repair and create are outstanding in their workmanship. The sales people are always welcoming and helpful.

The customer service there is great. And I got a beautiful diamond band for my girlfriend and she loved it. But when I was there about to leave the store 3 guys came in and tried to rob the place. And none of the employees knew what to do. They did not have a silent alarm and when they left they didn’t even have the number to call the cops. And they couldn’t even find the keys to lock the doors after they left

I had a great experience! Lily showed me the ring mountings that I was interested in and shared her knowledge of diamonds helping me to choose the right cut and size for the ring. She also explained the process in cutting the diamond from start to finish. She also explained the GIA certification of the diamond I chose. If you are looking to make a jewelry purchase, I highly recommend buying here!

Not really sure where to even start. My husband bought my ring from a Jared in Florida 7 years ago. I LOVE my ring!! You know when you go in and they always offer the upgraded size? Yeah, not a chance! I will have this ring until I die and my daughter gets it. I wear it all day everyday I never take it off. Its my prized position! Anyway, two weeks ago I took it to be inspected and they (Jared salesmen) said my prongs were worn and needed to be replaced. I left my ring for 5 days. I went to pick it up and at first glance I of course thought it looked beautiful. Until on the way home I realized how messed up it really was. I called and let them know that the whole new head they put on was twisted and way off center. It took me a week before I could make the hour drive back. When I went in they treated me very nice and the manager took it right back. He took about 2 minutes and she brought out. It was better but still not right. So they had me leave it for a few more hours. When I went back for the 3rd time it was totally different and STILL not straight. the salesmen told me I dont think it can be anymore centered than that which is a crock of s***! It was perfectly straight when I left it here the first time I want it to be straight! So, they took it back again...This time it is straight, but the new prongs are crooked so it looks twisted. I am so disgusted and heartbroken and Pissed! I know that they can see it is not right, but they keep handing me back CRAP! At this point I dont even know what to do about it... Live with it I guess? Get a lawyer? GRRR!

One star seems too much. With each encounter I have had here at the (Great Lakes Jared location) I realize that have NO CLUE what customer service and honesty are. This experience started when we were picking out custom engagement ring. We were told it take two weeks for setting for try-on in (Wax) however, two weeks came and went and I called and they explained they had called and left a message letting us know it was ready! NOT true, phone records prove. I even went as far as asking for the number they called and it was ours. I shook it off as a mistake and we went out to the store to see the (wax try -on) and it was a drawing! Now, three weeks have passed and of course very upset with this as they claimed that is was I had agreed too, again false. I know the difference between the two. At this point my husband had already purchased the diamond 3 weeks prior to this all happening so, I went on for another 3-weeks for WAX and I of course was calling them to see if it was done not the store calling me or even possibly rushing it due to the error. We went in and yes, you guessed it... Another drawing. I was very anger and upset, I spoke to Manager and expressed my distaste for this entire experience. The Manager is useless in how she proceed to resolve this. She thinks that giving two hundred off a band I may purchase for my husband will do!! ARE YOU KIDDING, I would not spend another cent in this store. Once the ring was complete after 10 weeks total I believe, it had some things I was not happy with but, they said they had to make it that way due to design (not true). We had paid for platinum prongs originally and I asked they be replaced with larger ones. Once I picked up the ring I asked if the new prongs were platinum and was told that there is no way to tell ????-WHAT!?. I cant stand dealing with these people. We unfortunately had to have the ring sized down, no worries unlimited sizing came with purchase. I left the ring for another few days and went to pick it up and GUESS WHAT... It was the same damn size! I asked to measure it myself so I could show them and they would not let us use the tool!. Then they encouraged me out of sizing again cause I my fingers may swell in upcoming summer (OMG really) she proceeded to tell me that my diamond was so large and heavy it will always spin (False) Im ring size 5. Size issue is still not resolved and I wear a plastic band on back to keep it on. Today I went in to have my ring cleaned and polished and was handed back my ring in 3 minutes or less - I asked if they would polish it and they said it was -WHAT?! NO, I asked that it be polished again cause it didnt work the first time and the young lady says you can leave it for a few hours and we can So again, they lied and... A FEW hours, never heard of anything like this. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Bad experience!

Went into Jared to buy a watch. First time buyer. I was a bit nervous going to a big name jewelry store with a limited budget. The sales staff was kind and professional. The gentleman I talked to knew what he was selling, explained things well, and wasnt pushy. You could tell he had passion for what he was selling and was willing to explain the history behind the brands I hadnt heard of. This may not be important to some people but I like to have knowledgeable, passionate sales staff when Im making an important decision. Overall a great experience.

Im not sure about all the negative reviews. I just had my watch serviced here pretty quickly. Guaranteed I didnt buy it from here and it was still under warranty, but still the staff seemed helpful and friendly.

Terrible customer service. My fiance brought me a beautiful diamond from the Novi location because they had the best customer service between all the metro Detroit locations. The only reason he purchased though Jared is because he wanted a certain cut and clarity. We went to the Auburn hills location today (because they will only warranty your ring if you have it checked every six months) and there was a sign that said closed for inventory until 2pm. At 2pm with 7-10 cars in the parking lot they put a sign on top saying 3pm. A hugh chain company should know better to close on a Sunday afternoon for inventory. That is something to be done after hours!

Honestly, run far away from here. Horrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and go to Kay Jewelers inside Great Lakes Crossing. Being first time ring shoppers, my boyfriend and I walked in here to get a feel of what we liked. Told them right away we were ONLY just looking to see what our preferences were and made it very clear we were not ready to make any purchases.During the ordeal, we were tossed between 3 different people. The last two ladies who “helped” us were extremely pushy on trying to open some sort accounts and financing things right away. They were more interested in making us just buy whatever they shoved our way instead of educating us on the different bands and diamonds, etc. Being first time buyers, my boyfriend and I wanted to know the differences. I’m sure there’s other ways to describe diamonds other than “this is very expensive” and “this is more affordable.”When asked what our price range was, my boyfriend threw out a ballpark number. Keep in mind, first time buyers. The last lady basically told us we couldn’t afford what she was showing us. There was a particular ring I did like, and we wanted to take a picture of it just so we could have comparisons. The lady tried to hide it, and when we politely asked to take a picture of it, she says “you can take a picture, but its not going to get you anywhere.” Extremely insulting and very poor customer service all around.We left this place, and went into Kay Jewelers inside Great Lakes Crossing where we spoke with well trained, no pressure, EDUCATED, professionals. The kind people at Kay Jewelers explained to us about the many different ring types, different cuts and clarity of the diamonds, etc. They even pulled out books and showed us styles they didn’t have in store that they could order for us.I did not feel welcome at this Jared locations. I feel dirty just being at this sleezy place. Poor customer service over all. Will definitely be telling everyone I know not to shop here.

Stopped in to Jareds with just a feeling like we should - and we were so right.The customer service was truly beyond what we expected.Scott was amazing, professional and so knowledgable-he helped pick out the perfect wedding band to match my unique engagement ring. *Not this specific location*Phone service reps are terrible and basically belittle you until you get angry enough to hang up. They told my wife that there isnt anything they could do about their shipping estimation being totally wrong. We paid extra to get faster shipping, but in the end the free shipping would of been faster. Thats when we called to complain and was told specifically by KIM (at service center) its her fault for paying extraNEVER AGAIN JARED. NEVER, just terrible. CUSTOMERS ARE FIRST. LEARN AND REMEMBER THAT! ONE STAR

My boyfriend and I went into the store a week ago to look at engagement rings. When we walked in we were told someone would be with us in a minute as everyone was busy with customers. We decided to look around while waiting and 30 minutes passed by without any assistance. In that time period, four other couples walked in and were offered assistance within minutes of entering and were taken care of. During that time multiple sales reps looked over at us but no one offered any type of help or told us that someone would be with us soon. After waiting and watching multiple customers being helped ahead of us we left and we will not be back. Their customer service is extremely lacking and I dont suggest to go to this store unless you want to wait around and be ignored. Dont waste your time here.

I love pandora but I always have to wait FOREVER for service at the location in auburn hills by the mall. This last time I waited for over 35-40 minutes and then they where about to help people who signed in which came in after me!!! I spoke up and asked I thought if you get Pandora you don’t have to sign in which I already knew the answer bec I buy pandora all the time at Jared. Not a good experience lately but great products!!

I have had the worst time getting my rings taken care of ....they can never find the information in the system if you buy it from one location the other wont take responsibility for it. Getting my warranty work done is the worst 1 hour to an hour and a half count on waiting for it. I went in to another store and was advised my warranty work wasnt recorded! Thank God I had an inspection done 3 months prior. I had to return home to obtain all the paperwork. If it wasnt for the insurance we paid for I would not return.

While the individuals that I personally worked with were fine, the quality of the product has been atrocious.For my anniversary with my girlfriend I bought her an Opal ring from this location (the only gift she has wanted). I paid for the insurance because I felt that it was important to keep the ring looking nice, we got the ring the same day and that was that.Less than a month later, one of the white sapphire studs fell out of the ring. Fine, things happen; keep in mind, I see my girlfriend maybe once a month as she is away, so taking the ring in for repairs isnt exactly convenient. She comes back home for a weekend, we take it in and get it repaired and are able to take it back home the same day while we are told that the worker did a thorough inspection of each stud, verifying the quality.Less than two weeks later she tells me another stud fell out. At this point Im annoyed. I tend to be a calm individual but we havent even had this ring for two months and in that time two different studs have fallen out. Its going to be about another month before I see her, so we will just have to deal with it.Not even a week later a third stud falls out, Thrilled I paid for the insurance but the fact its been hardly two months (at this point) shouldnt have cost me this much to keep getting it repaired. Both of us are entirely fed up at this point. She just came home this past week and we took it in on Saturday. My girlfriend has a very important conference taking place this weekend so we brought it in early so she could show off the ring that she truly loved and meant so much to her at the conference.I go into the store and tell them that I am not mad at them, but this is ridiculous. I get the generic, Im so sorry and the this shouldnt be happening etc. The manager then asks the sales rep to ask me questions as to why this keeps happening, as if its OUR fault that their product is falling apart. Im told that the ring will be ready Wednesday after 6pm but potentially earlier, perfect because she leaves early Thursday morning. Im given a little jewelry bag for my troubles. Really?Here it is Wednesday and I called and Im told the ring will be ready after 630 pm Friday. Friday!?! The receipt says promised for the 7th and I cant get it until the 9th. Now my girlfriend cant have this ring for weeks until I can see her again. We would have never even dropped it off had we known it would have been this much of a hassle. Im furious. Im fed up. But more than anything Im just so disappointed. I would get a refund if their refund policy lasted longer than 30 days.In short, please, dont put yourself what I have gone through. Why would I get an engagement ring from a company with quality like this. Go elsewhere.

Bought a Bulova Watch last year, had to have the clasp band on wrist band replaced;1st I was quoted $37 to replace the whole band.2nd I later received a phone call about a sale, before I received the band quote information, I had to call back to the store myself to get the proper information.3rd Later received information about the sub bands only costing $15, I asked over the phone if they could put them on for me, the Sales Lady said, Theyre two little bands you could put them on yourself. Im like Im paying you money b!!!Terrible Customer ServiceThere is one person there named Jeanine or Jamie whos nice.

Worst attitudes and complete lack of customer service. Husband bought me a watch and I decided it exchange it and upgrade, doubling the initial purchase. Though I walked in with a receipt, it apparently hadnt been long enough for it to register in the system so customer service had to be called, no one knew whbat to do and I stood there for a half hour. That was last week. This week I took it back to have a link taken out. Definitely not greeted warmly, like I was a valued customer (like anyone coming into their store should be) and worker was openly irritated to be asked to make the adjustment. He said I have to verify at least twice, like I was trying to scam something. After he was done, he referred to me as hunder un, though Im at least 15 years his senior. I said thank you when he handed back the watch...no youre welcome or acknowledgement of any kind. Of course no one in our family will ever be purchasing anything from this chain ever again. There are plenty of small shops that appreciate business.

Customer service is absolutely awful! I ordered a ring online on Christmas Eve and I paid the extra $9.95 for ground shipping (3-5 business days). With it being the holidays, I expected there to be a delay, meaning it should be sent out and delivered somewhere around the 2nd-5th of January. Once I had completed my order, the estimated arrival date was January 12th (5 days longer than it wouldve taken for normal free shipping!) Confused and furious, I called customer service in hopes for a refund seems how I wouldnt be getting the ring in 3-5 days like the ground shipping had promised. The woman (Kim) had told me that it wasnt an error on their end and it was my fault that I chose ground shipping. I feel that if I pay extra for a special service I should be GIVEN that service! Not told it is my fault and not even attempt to give me my money back. This was a scam and they basically stole from me. I am NEVER buying from Jared again!

We drive an hour just to go to this location. unfortunately my most recent experience was horrible, went in to get my ring cleaned and inspected, usually im in and out within a few minutes. this time it took about 30 mins just to find our info in the system. then as i was walking out with my ring i noticed it was missing a diamond! i walked right back in and was told id have ro return the next day once they found and reset the diamond. i know things happen but my ring isnt even that old and i dont even wear it everyday or all day and on top of that i will have to take a 2hr trip just to go back after they messed up.

Sales people are rude once the sale is complete. Tried to bring a trade in one day late from their policy and they would not work with us at all!! The diamond was placed crooked in the semi-mount and not done when we were told over the phone. We called corporate and they were rude is well! I will never buy anything here again!
