I have been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Daniel off and on for quite some time. I originally started with him after I had finished my degree, and needed something to do with my free time, when it was only a few guys learning some no-gi techniques. Since then, I have watched his program grow in size and offerings, into an extremely well rounded program. Daniel is extremely dedicated to both his program and his students. He takes the time to explain, and demonstrate, each and every technique, ensuring that everyone has a firm understanding of it.If you have any interest, questions, or are simply curious about what Jiu Jitsu is, I highly recommend that you visit his school.

I have background in previous Martial Arts but none that involved any grappling, as you can guess, i felt out of place and very slow.Despite this, the instructor and even the students were able to slow it down where I could practice effectively. I didnt feel rushed, no sighs of impatience, it made for a great learning experience.Highly recommend checking this place out if youre new and even if youre a vet, you can roll with some of the other students, they can def keep up with most.

Awesome academy with incredible instruction, friendly environment, and equally friendly students. I’ve been training with coach Daniel since March 2011 and his ability to capture every detail of a technique has allowed me to advance in BJJ pretty quickly. I’d say that now in my mid-30s I’m in better shape than I ever was in my 20s.

If you live in the area and are in search of a place to train, here is your answer. If youre looking for an excellent cardio workout and a great way to expand your mental focus, this is the place for that. Training with a great group of people in a positive environment, with a world class instructor, has been one of the best decisions of my life, so why not try it for yourself?

Great exercise, great self-defense, great fun. Clean facility with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Coach Daniel is a world class instructor under 8X World Champion Robson Moura and I wouldnt want to receive my belts from anyone else. The members are friendly and always willing to share the knowledge. There is no better place in the Tri-County area to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Small group setting with an always expanding membership. I highly recommend to come try it for yourself and bring a friend

I tried several martial arts schools before coming to Ronin. All the others I had reservations with, so I would keep looking. But all it took was one class for me to realize that Ronin was the place for me. They dont waste a lot of time with rituals like so many of the other schools did. No lineups or bowing or anything like that. Warmups are doable, though at my age, I sometimes have to step aside while they are being done. The drills are done in a manner that is very helpful. While its usually a challenge to get the moves down, you get sufficient time to practice them and they will show you as many times as it takes to help you. Pete and his helpers are excellent instructors and class is always fun, but can be exhausting, especially when its time to roll! The other students are also a terrific bunch. Its very obvious that Im the oldest one in the place and most of the other students, I am old enough to be their father. But nobody ever treats me like an old man. They treat me like just another student. I seriously cant say enough good things about this establishment. If youre looking for a BJJ studio in the Attleboro area, look no further. The price is reasonable and unlike other places, for your monthly fee, you can attend as many classes as you like. So if youre interested in martial arts, what are you waiting for? Get on down to Ronin! See you there!

I have been training with Daniel for over two years now, and in those two years earned my blue belt from him. He is a very passionate instructor that makes sure everyone succeeds at whatever goals they set for jiu jitsu. Whether you are trying to lose weight, compete, or just looking to try martial arts in general, he is the only man to learn from
