With our AirConditioning cycling off and on last evening we were quick to call One Hour BROS Air Conditioning Heating Jacksonville. They couldnt help us last night and told us their only appointment for today was at 5pm. What a great surprise to get a text and email from them at 10:20am telling us that Brandon T. was on his way.One Hour provided excellent service again. Brandon completed the work and had the AC cooling again. Brandon was very concerned about his customers, and went out of his way to let us know what is going on with our system. He was very considerate about our home went out of his way to make sure things are the way they should be.He answered all our questions, concerns. Very knowledgeable, patient, and through. This company was really responsive and helpful. We did have some communication issues with their weekend scheduler, but our technician Kendall was really great! He was definitely a people person and very knowledgeable about the products. The only reason we didnt go with them, is we decided to sell our home as-is.

The rep that cam to our house can in and was very professional. He made sure to check every possible thing he could with out system even gave an honest suggestion to check out the evap due to his previous experience and ended up finding a leak. they were open over the weekend, they charged an additional fee but thats to be expected with everything coming in on weekends. I would use this service again.

Tried to charge me $950 for a new motor. Then advised me to buy whole new unit for thousands of dollars. Got someone else to come out and it was just the relay for less that $75 and everything running great.. I wouldnt take their advice on changing a light bulb.

The technician came out and cleaned the clogged drain line and tested the capacitor (44/5) and declared the pressures good (298/134) with a 13 degree superheat.HOWEVER, when calling to arrange after hours service on 10/31/20, I was told that when I speak to the technician if the do the recommended service, the diagnostic fee ($99) would be not be charged. Meaning instead of the bill being $288 (drain line $189 + diagnostic $99) the bill should only be $189 - NOT $288.I believe the 10/31/20 conversation was recorded so Im asking for mgmt. to listen to what I was told and let me listen if the claim what Im saying isnt accurate. Getting a strong impression of BAIT & SWITCH. And to add salt to the wound, I used this company to install a new HVAC there 3 years ago. I expected much better.

Absolute outstanding service from start to finish. Joshua (sales/service), Joshua (OPS manager) & Matt, Dennis and Eunice (installation) were all professionals. After an initial issue with the equipment purchased (seems my home can’t really take a 4 ton unit), the team came back out and reassessed for 2x 2.5 ton units. The OPS manager came out twice during installation to make sure I was happy with what I ended up with (I was). Despite having to take back a 4 ton unit and go get 2 different units AND a full ducting replacement, Matt and his install team were done in less than 3 days. They worked as late as I’d let them and came in just as early the next day. ABSOLUTE professionals who I WILL use again and recommend to anyone looking without hesitation.

I am very pleased with this company. I was able to make an appointment on the day I needed because my paycheck, I chose 10am-2pm they called right at 10am and said they were 15 minutes away. they both were really kind and fast they didnt waste anytime looking at the problem and telling me what was wrong and even gave me different options I could choose since it was going to be super expensive. In the end I decided Im just going to have to get a new unit, but he even told me he could set up an appointment with his company for a free estimate to get a new one for me but I just cant afford it. I would definitely recommend this company again. the ads are correct!

That Technician has never service the compressor unit. He only checks the air handler in the garage. Last visit he pour water down air handler drain and maybe checked electrical side of the air handler. He gun decks maintenance. He spends more time sitting in the van on the cell phone. The first Tech. that came out was great. One of the Tech forgot to secure the power to the air handler. I pay 17.99 a month for maint.

Chris serviced my unit today. I have experience with several technicians the past month and all were good. Chris came today to find the leakage in freon, he found the leak. He went back to the office and obtained two portable air units for my home, brought them back and set them up. Thanks for the dedicated workers at One Hour.

So I called One Hour Bros and scheduled a winter tune up. Before his arrival, the tech, Johan called and let me know he was on the way. I also received a text from “The Bros” that gave me his name and a picture of him. I thought that was really neat. So he shows up and is very polite, and services my system. He found a couple of things that may give me issues, took the time to explain exactly what he found and what I might expect to happen. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very professional. This company always is fast, explains everything clearly and does a great job. Pricing is fair and having a maintenance plan has already saved me over $500 in less than a year. I love that they text you a picture of the technician who is coming to your home. Always a great experience and I highly recommend them!

Gerald Glover arrived at our home and immediately proceeded to discover what was causing our HVAC system to malfunction. He was pleasant, courteous and got right to business. Please DO NOT waste your time or compromise your peace dealing with this company. A technician (Gerald Glover) was sent out and proceeded to persuade me that the whole unit needed to replaced and he did not carry R22 freon for my system. He guaranteed me that I would have to call him back by the next day because my unit was done for. After further discussion, I made the decision that the entire system did not need to be changed quite yet and that I would only be paying him the service/diagnostic charge. He left and came back (without my permission,[This was witnessed by one of my children])to incorrectly rewire the capacitor so the fan and the compressor could function the opposite way. This discovery was also confirmed by a second company that I called.. who, by the way, was able to get my AC back up and running to tip top condition WITHOUT having to replace the whole unit! I am very disappointed at the lack of integrity the technician had. It makes me wonder how many other innocent customers have been deceived.

First of all, I received a text with a photo of my technician, Greg, which stated he was on his way so that I had a heads up and knew who to expect at my front door. Truly loved that. He was punctual, courteous, and discussed with me what problems I was having then got to work right away. He wore shoe covers while in my home which is always appreciated. Once he determined what the issue was, he took the time to explain it to me at length in terms I could understand and answered all my questions with patience and concern. He was not rushed and stayed until he felt I was completely satisfied with the way my AC unit was cooling and functioning. He was pleasant, kind, , knowledgeable, and professional. Couldnt ask for more from any technician that comes to my home for a repair or checkup.

We did have a capacitor issue and when I told him we have a friend that does AC work and can fix it Johan gladly told me exactly what the part was and even took pictures what what needed to be fix so I can show our friend. He checked everything from temperature to air flow and refrigerant. Everything was working fine. Most tech are very good. If you get Josh send him away. I was going to schedule ductwork with him then changed my mind. He refused to return my deposit, $900. I have tried to call, cant get anyone to return my calls. Gave up when C19 arrived.

Updated!!!Great service. Johan was professional, knowledge and very clean. Did an excellent job servicing our AC unit...................These are the jiffy lube guys of AC work. One year old system getting it yearly service. Was told everything was great. 2 months later when it got warm ac stopped working. Came back out and told me I needed $1200 worth of work and it was low on Freon. The service guy was “nice” Enough to Hook us up with 2lbs of Freon to get it going at no charge. He explained that there was a leak and it would last. I needed to get a leak test performed for $600 and it was probably the coil leaking. Estimated $1200 + for repairs. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent their certified repair company out. Freon levels were fine. No leak. The only thing noted was the insulation inside the squirrel cage box was loose and obstructing flow. He fixed it at no charge. Ac has been great ever since (5 weeks). Thought 1hr bro’s were doing me a solid. Now I see they were trying to screw me. The “brojuvenation” got the first guy out to screw with the system so they could come back and “fix”It later. Never again.

Brandon was very personable and professional in all his work. Nice to chat with while working as well. Told it like it was and showed what was needed and didn’t not try to sell a bag of wet leaves. Will use them again!

Gerald was very Professional, informative and very through. He also gave me a few tips to keep my AC running efficiently like keeping my filter changed and making sure my drainline is working and adding vinegar in to my drain.

Have had One Hour AC/Heat since July 2010...At first, the service men who handled the semi-annual checks were efficient and knowledgeable. A few years later, not so much...But I am happy to say that I am very pleased with the service this past 2 visits. Hopefully, these men will remain with the company.

Had a complete new system installed in November. Ithought I was going crazy because I kept hearing a whistle. I had them come out and inspect 2 times and the system didnt make a peep. Nothing! I heard it after they left and before they came though. Every time I called and told them about it they sent someone out to look it over. No charge, no questions. They came to help me not feel crazy. FINALLY we got the system on a good day and the technician heard it. He immediately knew what was needed and was able to fix it. This system is amazing and the employees have all be some nice and helpful.

Need an estimate for new AC units ... very attentive to details about the project to ensure I am an informed consumer... much appreciated as the whole process is new to me!

Johan didn’t mind waiting 10 minutes while I was headed back to my house, the time he took to evaluate what was going on was thorough and professional. He cleaned off my very dirty filter, took time to ensure nothing more was going on with my unit besides a dirty filter, cleared a clogged drain, and was extremely helpful with explaining how to keep my unit functioning.

Not sure what he does. texted at 11am and said they ere on the way. called my husband at the Y. he left early and it was about 12:15 before the tech was there. at lelast 1 he and 15 minutes. not happy about that since they said he was on the way.

The technician who visited my home yesterday, Brandon Temples, was great, to say the least. He explained the one problem my air conditioning system was experiencing thoroughly. It needed refrigerant, and so I gave him permission to add it. He did so, and the system is now working perfectly. Not only was he completely professional, he was extremely polite and personable. They are ok, they took 20 mins to get out the truck and another twenty mins to write theyre report all so they could bill me the two full hrs, he said the start time and I said nope incorrect, you bill time does not start when you get to the end of my driveway, it starts at the meet an greet, another issue was when he clean the coils he didnt mention a charge for chemical, or the heads up which idk why he used it anyway, they were not dirty enough to use anything other than high pressure water outta my hose like he did anyway, two sprays of chem an bam another charge. Whatever we i called them an still paid it.

Its July. Its hot in Florida. The ac stopped working the other night. I immediately called One Hour BROS for help. They could have come that night, but we had to go out. Jose came the next morning and fixed us up. These people are reliable and skilled. I recommend them highly.

Got woken up at 4am to the smell of burning electronics. It was our AC melting. Called One Hour Bros. around 7:30ish hoping theyd be able to come out the same day. They had an appointment and sent Greg. Super professional, very pleasant, and got everything done that afternoon. Had all the spare parts in his van. Im starting to feel cooler already. Would recommend.

Johan was great! Knowledgeable and understanding of our issue. He was upset he couldn’t fix it the first time out but for what he needed to fix our AC he couldn’t get it until the shop reopened due to it being so late. Hopefully I don’t have to call them again but if I do I know they will fix my issues. We had to have the fan motor and module replaced.

Update... 12/17/20... So happy to have the monthly maintenance plan which provides me with semi-annual maintenance on the unit. After having years of issues with an old unit, it’s nice to have the piece of mind that my new unit continues to be in top shape. Herman the maintenance associate that worked on my unit was on time, very helpful and very respectful of my property, he adhered to Covid protocol and wore a mask the entire time he was on my property. As usual, I am very happy with the service!******************************************************Update.... 6/2/20... today I had the pleasure of having Gerald stop by to Service the A/C unit for its semi annual maintenance. Gerald was very courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. I love how professional everyone from this company is, love how I get a picture and name of the technician prior to their visits as well as a call when they are on their way so I know exactly who and what time to expect someone by.
