So I paid these people $50 to diagnose two weed eaters that needed repair. They made me wait five weeks to get an answer and then claimed that NEITHER of them could be repaired. These are simple two cycle engines. If they cant fix them, what exactly do they do there? Complete waste of time and money. I note that one of the weed eaters I bought used somewhere else and only used it once or twice , yet they both had the exact same problem? Hard to believe. Will switch to electric. Internal combustion engines will soon be a relic of the past.

Great place and people. You can tell they want it done right. Took my 42 Hustler and after they went through it, ran like it was a brand new mower. Very highly recommend. The only negative if it is a negative. Takes a while to schedule appointment due to so much work they have.

If youre in the construction business like me you break tools this place is awesome quick efficient and very reasonable wouldnt take my stuff anywhere else

Owned by baby boomers, take that as you will. Rude office worker, unable to answer question in the field she works. Mechanics communication skills need work, as you can greatly tell hes only comfortable talking to people that know less then him. In a time so many are struggling these people still find it easy to be nasty to their customers.

These guys know there stuff . They are polite and have great customer service. Kim upfront is absolutely wonderful she knows her stuff better then most men . Dan knows everything about air , electric tools and engines.they always try there best to help me.they have great employees that are always willing to go out of there way to help you .If you have tool or engine repair these guys can help also they keep all my equipment on a normal service plan so everything is always running right.they will set you up so you can drop your things for reg scheduled maintenance and have it back that afternoon . This is the 3rd time I have used this company. I cannot say enough good things about them. The owner is VERY good with small engines and any repairs related to small engine machines. He even repaired a flat tire on mygenerator and had it ready in about 15 minutes. If you need any type of repairs on small engine machines, I highly recommend this place. Nice people!!!!

Customer service at this business is top notch. I brought my older Snapper chainsaw here and they did there best to fix it but didnt have the access to the correct part for my chainsaw. I was able to get the correct part from Ronnies repair shop and now my saw runs great. His diagnosis of the saw was correct and if you have somewhat newer and common equipment he will fix it no problem. If you have a much older piece of equipment like I did, then I might try Ronnies because they have more of a selection for parts. Thanks D&K!

I had repairs theyre done before and when I took my machine back because the handle came off of the pull cord the technician realize it was their cord and he put the handle back on for free.

This is a small family owned business. They do a great job and have a reasonable price. That being said, they can get backed up with work and may have a longer than usual wait. Regardless, this is the only place I will take all my equipment. Thanks guys!

Very helpful and reasonably priced. I brought in an old mitre saw worth between $300 and $500 new and they fixed it for around $30. I highly recommend them for any tool or small engine repair

Be clear and know what you want, Owner not one to chit chat for sure but he knows his stuff so dont waste his time haha.

Got my mower working great again and at a good price. Not only did they fix the issue I had with it, but also did a top to bottom inspection and found some other problems, and did the required engine maintenance and sharpened the blades. I would take any small engine to these guys (they do tools too!)

Excellent shop. Fixed my lawn tractors bad idle and gave the tractor a once over fixing a failing battery connection and slow leak in one of the tires. JAX is known for bad contractors and horrible service but D & K is the exception.

Dan and Kim are always professional and courteous. $20 diagnostic fee which is applied to repair fee. Had my lawnmower tuned, blade sharpened, filter replaced and carborator cleaned in 2 days - very reasonable prices. Even the parts are comparable to Home Depot. They can also scheudle pick up for a minimal fee ($20-$40). Highly recommend them!!

This place is the best repair /warranty shop in jacksonville . the owners are helpful and polite. There employees are knowledgeable and go above and beyond to make sure your happy. They also are very fast when you consider every other place is 4 weeks out and still dont have the problem fixxed . I rarely leave reviews but i had to for this place . Its so rare these days to find a good mom and pop with customer service thats just outstanding i wish i could buy my groceries from these guys . lol. If you have and tools nailguns or yard equipment that needs repair these are the guys to go to . so stop in and get that mower fixxed or tell your contractor friends to fix those old nail guns instead of buying new and save a few bucks . love D&K REPAIRS !!!! I needed parts for my lawn mower and they couldnt have been more helpful. Additionally they offered me free advise on a lawn mower problem I was experiencing.

First time I stopped in was to get a starter rope repair, In less than ten minutes dan showed me what the problem was and fixed it without charge for an easy fix, I brght my pressure in a second time and in less than a day my carebutor was rebuilt and I was given a vital lesson on simple maintence, this company stands behind its work and I would do business again with Dan thanks again
