Damon was a delight to work with! So friendly and very professional. A great listener too! When there was a glitch at the gate to the venue he remained calm and handled it well under the circumstances. His set up was great and we loved the lights he brought with him.

We loved working with Ricardo! Our party was a mix of adults and kids, and Ricardo and DJ Holland were perfect in every way. They were responsive, they were generous, and they were fun. They MADE the party. Dancing, trivia and games - it was all terrific. Also want to add that we changed venues, changed party size, and Ricardo was super flexible. DJ Sires from Amp’d was everything! The music and hype did not stop from the time the dance floor opened until the last song before the grand exit. Amp’d provides a site to download your song requests, which allows them to get to know the vibe you’re going for. Combine that with the Remix format and the talent of DJ Brian Sires and your reception will be nothing short of amazing!

Booking Hollon & AMPD Entertainment was easily one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning! Hollon was extremely communicative and helpful in planning what we wanted for music. We booked Ricardo with Ampd Entertainment for our wedding in December. He worked so well with us and our budget. He was very helpful, responsive, informative, (he always replied when I had questions). I cannot recommend Ampd Entertainment enough. They say the DJ can make or break a wedding, and now I fully believe it. Ricardo made ours SO much better than my expectations. They kept the crowd on the dance floor and everyone really enjoyed him. We put songs on our portal and he kept the genres around the same that we had listed and it couldnt have been better. Highly recommend!

I have had the opportunity to work with Ampd Entertainment on several events and they have always exceeded my expectation. On the evening of March 15, 2018, we were blessed with the sounds from Lyris one of Ampd newest DJs. Lyris not only professional, but she had everyone vibing off of the sounds she was spinning during the evening for our event. Music was a top priority of our wedding. We work in the music industry and knew our guests would have high expectations. Peter at Amp’d Entertainment did not disappoint. Not only did he create a custom mix for our surprise first dance performance, but his attention to detail and poise under pressure made it a night to remember.Peter and his boss, Ricardo, met with us twice before the event and were thorough in the planning process. From the age and demographic of our guests - so everyone had equal opportunity to dance/participate - to song choice and length - so our selections lined up with the day’s timeline - they thought of everything to guarantee it would be a memorable evening. It was the true definition of customer service.One of Amp’d Entertainment’s best tools is the Online Planner. From the order of the processional to the DO-NOT play list, it was great to have our music preferences all in one place. I couldn’t imagine planning our wedding ceremony and reception without it.

We splurged and paid a little extra for Mike to come out and DJ for us himself. I had a couple hidden items for my bride which involved playing my guitar and singing over a couple of backing tracks. This was an outdoor wedding and Mike met up with me several times to help practice and make sure to get things right. He even pitched in and helped sing some of the tougher parts while I played the guitar. It was phenomenal. The professional lights were great, the sound quality and playlists were spot on. Couldnt have asked for a cooler experience.Mike genuinely cares that you and your guests have a great time. He has a great stage presence and was also a wonderful master of ceremonies. We had a great sounding, personalized experience. Definitely worth the money.

DJ Deitrich was absolutely amazing!!! My guests could not stop talking about how great the music was from the ceremony seating to the cocktail hour to the reception dance music! He took all of my notes for what we were looking for in music and delivered 200%! I am so grateful we went with him and this company. I would choose Dietrich 10X again!! My guests were on the dance floor all night and he provided music that satisfied all age groups. If you are deciding between companies please go with Dietrich at Ampd!!!

We had DJ Bigg H for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! I had actually seen him at a holiday party and enjoyed it so much that I kept his business card for 1.5 years. When I stumbled upon Hollon’s company, AMP’D ENTERTAINMENT, I knew I had finally found the right vendor! I was relieved that there was actually a dj company out there who offered what I was looking for, which is so hard to find! Being a lover of music and dance, I wanted a company who created something for their client, knew multiple genres of music, and incorporated that into the artistry of remixes and creative mashups. As I told Hollon, “If all you know how to do is play the entire 3 min 40 sec radio edit of Despacito and YMCA, then to me, you’re not really an artist.” Clearly, Hollon agreed that the dj industry needed something a bit more 5-star too, and I’m glad I found him!In addition, Hollon offers other add-ons like uplighting and videography, so those were 2 less vendors I needed to worry about finding. Ampd was exactly what we needed for our high school prom for 500. EXCELLENT lighting package and sound options - the owner (Hollon) is incredibly kind and easy to work with. They were communicative, prompt, and thorough, the students (and faculty) loved the entire event! Very cool planning feature available online for imputing your music ideas as well! Hollon and his team made our event, Christmas in Space, one for the ages. Mike was the DJ for our wedding reception and he was awesome!! Our guests said it was the best reception anyone’s ever been to, and it’s all thanks to him! Without his direction, it would have been a mess, but he was able to direct the flow of the entire reception without the need of a wedding planner. He even tracked us down and told us when we were going to be announced, even though we were a little distracted ;) He also customized the father of the bride dance just for us! To help plan, they have a portal where you can select songs/ artists you want play and when, a “do not play list”, and song suggestions for First Dance, Cake Cutting, FOB Dance, MOG Dance, etc. Mike also was able to read the crowd very well and play accordingly to get everyone on the dance floor! Even my husband, who doesn’t dance, was on the dance floor! Picking Amp’d was the best decision we made!

“2 days before our wedding, our original DJ was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery. We frantically called quite a few different companies that came highly recommended from a wedding coordinator friend and Amp’d was available on such short notice, worked within our budget, and made a very stressful situation into a pleasant one with a seamless transition. Deitrich (our DJ) was absolutely fabulous. Always available by email, text and call. He answered every question we had and gave great suggestions that were SO appreciated. Because of the time crunch, we had to do our first and final run through of all music choices over the phone and Deitrich made this run so smoothly. We went over everything song by song once, then he read it back to me twice to make sure everything was exactly how it needed to be. He had no problems finding the songs we wanted to use on such short notice. The day of the wedding, he had everythig ready early and was phenomenal with transitions between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. He kept the reception light and fun during dances, toasts and cake cutting.
