I normally dont write reviews, but wanted to make an exception in this case! Tutoring with Alexander Academy made a dramatic difference for our daughter, an 11th grader at AIS. Her tutor, Erica, took a personal interest in her and helped her to organize and prepare for several important exams. We highly recommend Alexander Academy!

Alexander Academy is a top notch tutoring company. Their SAT program is structured well, with easy to understand content and a good flow to the program. The tutors are great - they break down complex concepts into easy bites.

My daughter was able to have one on one virtual instruction which fit her busy schedule to help tweak and solidify her testing approach. The information provided was particularly useful because it included both content and test taking strategies. We would definitely recommend Alexander Academy.

I am grateful for the work that Alexander Academy did with my daughter. We tried one of the larger testing companies first and did not have a good experience. I felt that Alexander Academys tutors were significantly more attentive and went into much greater detail with her. The service is more expensive, but worth it.

I was referred to Alexander Academy by a friend. I needed my daughter to take the SSAT within 3 weeks and to improve on her previous score from a year ago. The process was very easy, Matt and I spoke about my daughter and he found a great match for her. My daughter and her tutor met 3 times a week and she gave her homework. My daughter took the SSAT and went from a 64 percentile to 91. It was unbelievable!!!! I highly recommend using Alexander Academy for any test - SSAT, SAT, ACT.

I found Alexander Academy while looking for an SAT tutor in 11th grade. My tutor, Aradhya, was phenomenal. From my first SAT to the second, my score improved by 150 points, and now Im in college at Duke. Needless to say, I couldnt have done it without Alexander Academy.

We highly recommend Alexander Academy! We used their services for two students, worked with multiple tutors, and had great experiences across the board. Matthew and the team went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met.

My daughter took the course and found it to be well structured and informative. She received individualized attention based on multiple assessments and looked forward to the weekly lessons. The instructors were engaging and made test preparation enjoyable.

They are incredibly professional and have a lot of experience and integrity. My son started with a solid score but wanted to be in the upper bracket for some selective schools but I didn’t think tutoring would be able to help since he didn’t have much room for improvement. They were very honest and only suggested 3.5 hours and with their help and support, my son met his goal and learned great tips.

I worked with Kevin for about 3 weeks before I took my ACT. He was an outstanding tutor and he helped me get a perfect score on my very first ACT. He and the Alexander Academy gave me outstanding tools to succeed on the test, as well as incredibly detailed feedback on practice tests. I had a great experience with SAT and ACT prep. The staff identified my weaknesses and gave me a lot of individual extra help, which allowed me to perform very well in subjects in which I previously underperformed in.

Our daughter is a Junior at UGA (her first choice) and we have Alexander Academy to thank for that. She participated in both group SAT prep and one on one prep for ACT. She was able to increase her ACT score greatly due to her tutoring.

My older daughter Kathleen had a great experience with Matthew and Kevin during her SAT prep classes. She was impressed with their knowledge, helpful tips and humor, all of which made learning and retaining the material easier and more effective. She also enjoyed having two tutors in the room, each with different strengths and teaching styles. The thorough preparation helped her raise her SAT scores and ultimately get her into the colleges of her choice. Given our very positive experience, we have just enrolled out younger daughter into the SAT prep class starting shortly.

A fantastic experience with wonderful tutoring!

Our son, presently starting 10th grade at Woodward, has had tutoring from Alexander Academy tutors for the last two years. Theyve done a great job; hes been both taught the subject material and (sometimes at least) motivated to be interested and even enthusiastic about the topics theyre working on. Hes worked with Kevin (now departed for Law School at Emory), Nicya and Cooper (both still undergrads at Tech) and theyve all three been outstanding. Matt does a great job putting all this together.

We were a bit skeptical about online tutoring at first, but our daughter found it to be incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Congrats to the team at Alexander Academy for creating a great tutoring experience!
