My last experience wasnt bad however Im trying to get in contact with someone because the after hours link wouldnt let me return it, it kept saying the mileage was too high then too low. I took pictures as proof that I returned it around 530pm in lane B but no one is picking up the phone.Please someone reach out or leave contact info so Im not charged for all those miles I didnt use.

IBRAHIM ODAY … Thank you for the name tag because I wouldn’t know what name to associate with this extremely poor experience … YOU ARE THE DEFINITION OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! If UHAUL needs to improve this location a man like this shouldn’t be handling customers. He is very arrogant and argumentative with clients. I came to pick up the key for my truck for an emergency situation and he used my time to train a new employee. I told him I needed the key now and that they could handle their training later! This man became extremely defensive and started raising his voice arguing and being so condescending and borderline aggressive! If this is how UHAUL teaches their employees to treat their most loyal customers, I would like to remind everyone that there are other rental companies out there who treat clients better than this. If this is an isolated incident, this man needs to be fired!

Well if youre on a time sensitive schedule, dont come here. Made a 9am reservation, which is when they open. Arrived to see a very long and only ONE cashier. I asked the cashier if there was a line for reservations and she said no. I asked how Id be compensated for the 4 hour time slot the line was eating into, and she said shed adjust the time. That helped me none because I too had a job to report to at noon. Its 9:30 am as I write this review, and finally, another cashier arrives. I called the 1-800-GoUhaul number and Im STILL on hold from 20 minutes ago!The point in making a reservation is to ensure the product will be available at the time its needed. Its also to help management staff properly. This location is ill managed.

If I could write zero stars I would. I booked in advanced and had a guaranteed reservation. A customer in line in front of me did not have a guaranteed reservation for the same truck. To appease that customer they gave her my truck, while I was in line behind her. Then tried to tell me to go to a different location. Eventually after a long dispute in which they agreed I had a guaranteed reservation they gave me a truck. However the delay messed up my entire move and caused me to have to pay more in moving labor costs. DO NOT GO HERE

While I will say that it took a little longer than usual for me to check out, the staff went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service. They have a great inventory of equipment and appear to really enjoy what they do. I look forward to doing business with them again!

This location is HUGE !! and very busy. Parking spots are limited because its in downtown Atlanta. Everyone that I bump into was very friendly and helpful. I rented a truck one way and got free storage. Ms.Sou and Maria are great! I was taken to my unit by Maria and on the way was greeted by Sou. She was Very nice and welcoming with a Smile and showed me how to use the freight elevator.

Managers Alfredo & Arlette were both champions out there today. We had an issue with a part never being delivered to complete a hitch installation. Alfredo helped us find a solution and Arlette helped us out with finding an affordable way to get our job done. Super flexible and able to help us through what could have been a huge inconvenience.

The manager, Abraham, reached out to me 3 days ago after charging me for 2 Uboxes informing me that he he would refund me for the 2nd UBox. After a day, I reached out to him to follow up. He did not text back. Again this morning, I reached out to the manager on the number he provided me without any response. Finally I had ti call U-haul and be on hold for over 45 minutes to finally get the charge corrected. Next time, please refund me when you say you are. Classic case of over promising and under delivering. If you are busy, give me a time like next time and do not give the impression I would be refunded 3 days ago.

Rude representative told me there was no 26ft truck available, then told me my reservation has been moved but the current one not cancelled. Then when I inquired about the reservation guareentee they said it didnt apply, even though time, place and equipment was not met. When I defined the reservation guareentee then the rep acted as if she knew what I was talking about. Suddenly a 26 ft truck became available and the situation got more and more confusing. Then they wouldnt let me change the estimated mileage, like the website and every other Uhaul lets you, and instead challenged that 75 Miles was the minimum. Ive been working with Uhaul and Moving Help, its affiliate, for years and this is the 3rd time this location has failed me. I hate coming here.

It was great, I walked over there and didnt realize that there were a card to access my floor. Thanks to the rep I was able to get my card just to check on my stuff that has been there since December 29th 2018 this was my first time going back to my unit and everything was fine except the light fixture in front of my unit still doesnt work. It wasnt working when I moved in and as of today its still not working. Other than that everything looks fine as one of my pictures show. Hopefully everything else is as good looking as the stuff in the front, and there were no issues with my upstairs neighbor 😂😂

This was the most horrible truck rental experience I’ve ever had. The car had broken side mirrors, low tire pressure, check engine light on, it was dangerous to drive. I got stranded and had to call road side assistance to help me which interfered with my drop-off time. In the end Uhaul said they would not charge me any extra fees considering it was their fault for not properly inspecting the vehicle. The Peter St location then proceeded to double charge my whole rental making a quick in town rental come out to almost $200. Please save yourself the headache and go to a different location.

This location is ridiculously unprofessional. I wasted 3 days trying to get a hitch installed on my vehicle. The manager Ibrahim is unorganized. On 3 separate attempts I scheduled for a hitch installation to be told I was on the schedule. Then arrive all 3 times and to be supposedly canceled upon arrival then told I must be lying or mistaken because the employee supposedly called to cancel. They just don’t want to work and gave me the run around. That’s ridiculous. Do not expect professional help.

Disrespectful General Manager (Ibrahim Oday, When we checked out, we had no problem but checking in there was only one person moving all the trucks which was a young lady. So we went in side to talk G.M, so that we can get a refund for some equipment we need gotten. ( Side bar We waited 25 before anyone came to the front.) This G.M was so nasty and disrespectful, I can’t believe he still has a job. I feel bad for the workers who has to work under him. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I did not have the best overall UHAUL experience, every time I call its a 15-20 minute wait BUT at this location I spoke with TIFFANY AND SHE WAS AMAZING. Follow up is not all that common these days and its nice to work with people who actually do their jobs. Thanks so much Tiffany!

I have used this UHUAL tWo time before and both times extra money was charged to my account days after I returned the truck. These people that work here are not trustworthy,They will attempt to scam you out of extra money, and will give you a hard time trying to speak with someone who can actually help.Whenever I call to ask about the charge, the responsibility is always been passed to someone else, until eventually they just stop answering the phone all together.DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! I attempted to do a contactless rental pick-up and uhaul was unable to verify my information without me going to a representative. The representative I worked with was pleasant but NONE of the employees were wearing masks, there was no hand sanitizer available, and there was no soap in the bathroom. There was plexi glass set up between customers and the workers and all the customers had masks on but I still felt uncomfortable that the employees were not wearing masks. I’m a healthcare provider, 4.5 months pregnant, and feel like this is very unsafe during peaking numbers of the COVID19 pandemic. Very disappointing to see this kind of disregard to customers health.

At 6:30, 30 mins before they was about to close our card that allows us to go up to our storage space was deactivated. My son and so was stuck up there for 30 mins. It was hot and scary! I was sick and it just made things worse. We had to call the cops through the emergency button on the elevator. When they finally came and got us the man didn’t apologize or ANYTHING! He didn’t say a word! I was in tears and my son was so distraught. The man literally didn’t say a WORD!!!!! So I went in the office to ask the ladies going forward can they have someone walk around and make sure no customers are upstairs before they deactivate the cards, especially because they wasn’t even closed yet. With an attitude she said “that wasn’t our fault!” I am SO DONE! We will be moving our stuff out of there! My chest has been hurting ever since!

Overall my experience was a positive one! Surprised by all the other reviews. The ladies that dealt with my moving truck were extremely professional, personable, resourceful, thorough, helpful, and infectiously humorous throughout my moving experience! The price for my truck was a decent one! If necessary, Im going back to this location. Good job ladies and keep up the good work!

Waiting Im line 45 min to then be told the system was down and the app and website didnt work. Came back the next day and waited another 45 min to check out a truck with the app/website. I get it - the system was down but communicating that to the folks in line asap would be helpful from a customer service point of view and having a backup plan when something happens to enable customers to check out would be cool - maybe training on the app. The people seem nice enough conversation wise - just not really very communicative or prepared to deal with this type of situation. As a side, had to check out another truck a few weeks later and went to a local laundrette in Sylvan hills - supper easy - uses the app in the parking lot and was on the road in 10- 15 min.

This review is to address that fact that this company in the mist of a world wide pandemic these people are adding late fees to storage containers to the customers. I completely understand business but this is just greedy. If i can help it i will never use this greedy company again. Ill do anything in my power to avoid ever doing any business with U HAUL AGAIN.

Terrible experience. Reserved a truck 2 days ahead of time. Arrived at 8am and they have no truck for us! They have trucks in other sizes on site, but won’t rent them to us. Incredibly dishonest and untrustworthy. Don’t trust them and make your plans to move around them.

Good service. Good products. Decent prices. Just keep in mind, they will cancel your reservation if you pick up an hour after the time you scheduled it. And if you are considering getting the 4x8 cargo trailer, dont. 5x8 is good at a minimum.

I downsized 3 years ago...and put my extras in this area U haul, Its a lot better storage now then before and they have better customer service, however I do spray my storage unit monthly for roaches and bed bugs because twice I had intruders from other nearby units. They keep the floors clean and no trash anywhere.The rates are great....Thank you U haul for making things better.

Nobody here knew what there coworkers were doing. “They have the key” says one person of the other.. we track down that person “no i dont”. Crew walking around yawning while there is a line out of the door. This place is garbage.

The staff was rude, unhelpful, and almost nonexistent. The app was confusing and unhelpful as I had to try to find someone because the app still requires them to do something. The app also indicated that the truck was in perfect condition with more gas than was in the tank. The truck itself was also extremely dirty, ashes and dirt everywhere. This whole experience felt very scammy. I will be looking to rent elsewhere.

This is easily the best U-haul location I have ever experienced. It is so clean and new and the people working there are so helpful and friendly. I originally had scheduled a truck at a different location, but since they were closed, U-haul Corporate booked me a truck at Peters St. They didnt have the smaller truck I needed, so they gave me a bigger one for the same price. They did everything they could to make my experience excellent after I was transferred from the original location.

Tldr: rude employees that do not honor reservations. charged me for a vehicle i never even saw.my reservation was transferred to this location due to an issue with my original one. i arrived on time and checked in on my phone. when i went inside to pick up the key, i noticed the employee checking out the person in front of me kept complaining that she couldn’t give that customer a van because it was checked out. after a few minutes of her back and forth with coworkers, she asked what i needed while she made the guy in front of me wait. i explained i was picking up keys and gave her the vehicle number from my phone screen (that was clearly marked and reserved under my reservation number). she immediately told me “no, you can’t have that one because this guy is supposed to get it.” i explained my reservation was transferred and i’ve already checked in, she said she “didn’t know anything about that but that van is this guys.” i then asked if i could rent something else, she said she only has a 17’ truck. i asked if i would have to pay the extra cost, she said yes. i told her this was already my second attempt at picking up a van, i’m frustrated and does she have anything close to what i need. she was extremely dismissive and adamant she had no vehicles available for me. i walked out because the entire experience was rude and off putting - my reserved vehicle was clearly taken right out from under me with no explanation or substitution. i then was charged $20 and gas for .06 miles when i never even saw the vehicle.

High employee turnover makes decent customer service sporadic and facility cheaply maintained. The lights above and around mine and several other units have been out or barely lit due to poor electrical wiring for a year or more. The electrician called in to fix the problem indicated the owner didnt want to spend the money and coincidentally is no longer employed there.

I see from other reviews Im not the only person that had this happen. I have never left an online review, but this is a pretty serious issue that could really cause problems for people.I made an appointment last week, 12/12, for a trailer hitch installation on Thursday 12/19. The shop waited until today, 12/17, to call me and tell me that the part wasnt in stock and would take 4-6 business days to arrive. I got an apology, but that doesnt really help me in my current situation.Most people planning a move really need things to happen on specific days. Leases end, days are taken off of work, etc. In my case, I am flying down to Atlanta from NY and have about 48 hours to help my girlfriend install the trailer hitch, pick up the trailer, load it up, and leave town to move her up here (a full days drive). It was tight, but we had everything planned out. Obviously, we cannot wait even 2 business days, let alone 4-6.I ended up calling a competitor and making a last-minute appointment for a hitch installation. I will be paying almost $100 more than what Uhaul was going to charge, which either means that Uhaul undervalues the service or the competitor is taking advantage of my desperation and overcharging.Im sure that most of the employees of this Uhaul location work hard and are honest. I dont want to point blame at any individual, and I have no idea if this is the fault of one person or another, but this kind of error or poor service can cause big problems for potential customers.

I would give zero stars if I could!!! This uhaul is the worst location !!! The front desk associate Jenessa did not know what she was doing and stated it was policy Uhaul automatically charges 50 for a local move which is a LIE. She charged my card $80 and had her coworker Tramkea try and help and she made the situation worst. The refund was not processed on Sunday as Trameka stated but it was not until Monday(when her manager could come in and fix her mistake) the refund was processed. Avoid this location at ALL cost if possible.

Their low ratings are earned. Go to any of the local U-Haul Neighborhood Dealers instead. Theyll ask for every ounce of personal information you have and try to get you to pay for insurance you dont want. They ultimately canceled my reservation because I didnt have someone to confirm my identity via phone (as if my Drivers license and presence werent enough). Wasted an hour of my time for nothing.

I dont know who is responsible for inventory and comminucation but there is a serious lack in both areas. Super slow customer service lines and rental fees that make renting less cost effective than hiring a moving service motivated me to take the time to write this review. My understanding that their being understaffed isnt the typical employees fault is what is preventing me from giving this a one-star review. If you can go to another location, do it. I will say, however, that the Castleberry Hill area is great and this location is right in the heart of it.

Seems like the front desk workers workers don’t know what their doing or just don’t care. The front desk workers are also very unprofessional. I do not enjoy coming here. I really wouldnt even give this place a 1. I left there Two minutes ago. I made a reservation online and they told me that they didnt have the van I ordered. Instead of giving me a truck with a price match or a similar size the manager decided to say that I made the reservation too late after he so called mentioned it. I am confused because I had just walked in the store. I was on the phone with customer service and they tried to call the store but none of the workers would answer the phone even though we all heard it ringing. On a positive note the customer service lady on the phone was nice I think her name was similar to Reyna. I saw a worker who I didnt know was the manager and told him that customer service is trying to reach the store/ him and he said he didnt have time to deal with them. He wasnt wearing a manager shirt but the lady on the phone said his name was George and a worker confirmed that it was indeed the manager.This place was unprofessional. The First Lady I spoke with was rude and didnt even try to be of service in any way. The manager attitude was sad to me because he should be examplifying leadership. I am disappointed honestly because of the fact that I was in a rush and I had to settle with a pickup truck and still had to pay! Customer service told me to file a complaint and here it is. I just hope that, that store dont give me a headache when I return the key. I hope something changes about their professionalism because that is unfortunate.

The rating resulted from phone customer service. A call was made to confirm availability of cargo van in 15 minutes. The rates, costs and availability were confirmed. Email was received with confirmation when arrived more than 20 minutes later. Reservations upon arrival had made the experience positive and more efficient. One problem was telephone verfication. Before a reservation could be completed, a contact person on file was called. This is a concern. Several persons were called until a person answered. When arrived in store, other processes held up checking out. Store had moving boxes of all sizes, clean restroom and helpful staff.

The girl at the front desk is so unprofessional! Its so blatant that I dont understand how she is able to hide it from her manager long enough to not get fired, let alone hired. Her responses are curt and full of attitude. The day just started, how can you have an attitude already? If you can use another location, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I rented a trailer five feet wide that isnt five feet wide at all yhey are four feet nine. so i took it back for fact i was tring to move a mower that is five feet wide ,they gave me a trailer that was six feet wide but i didnt think to measure it but it only has a four foot nine ramp and entrance. so i took it back this was months ago and i have not been paid back as they said they would five differant times so i must drive across town again to see if i get paid back. ill let you all know as soon as im back from the Peters st u haul . thanks devin

If i could give this place a 0 I would for sure. I had a reservation for 10am - got there at 9:50am to get the truck there was 5 people working, only 1 at the desk, I didnt get my reservation until 10:30am (when I walked out the door). The staff was rude, upon the return of the rental, I waited about 7 minutes in the designated spot where they come get the cars and no one came, so I went inside to ask how should I go about it, the woman looked at the cameras allegedly saw a person out there and told me to go ask them. Then when I said theres no one out there, hence why i came inside she got an attitude with me. I had so many negative encounters (too many to type) within the grand total of 45 minutes I was there. Needless to say, Id drive across town to rent a uhaul before coming to this place.

To give some background, we shipped two Uboxs from Seattle, WA to Atlanta, GA. Pickup was a breeze, and shipment was as well. Thats because we were almost entirely interacting with third party companies to set up the delivery and moving help. Our Uboxs were shipped and recieved in Atlanta and I called that Thursday to set up an appointment time for noon on Saturday. I immediately set up Moving Help to come out and help us unpack at 2pm on Saturday. Well, come Saturday morning I got spammed with three calls from a number that would call for 1 second and then go to voicemail. It was a woman from Uhaul asking to set up a delivery window, which I had already done, and giving a callback number that was some random mans number who was not affiliated with Uhaul in any way. At this point its 12:15, and my movers have arrived 2 hours early. I tried to contact Uhaul over their help number and was transferred in circles by a long list of people who would transfer me to somebody who could help. On my third try, I was given the information that instead of a noon appointment time, the person setting up my delivery window set it up for 12am, midnight. You should know that Uhual and its third party companies dont operate at that time, so this delivery window was literally impossible. On my 6th try of contacting Uhaul I was told they could switch my delivery window to 4-8pm. I was then disconnected. On my 8th try I explained that the movers were already there and asked if they could move the window since the Uboxs were supposed to already be there. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do. The delivery window would remain at 4-8, but I was told the store with my belongings would close at 7pm so I should be expecting it around 6:45. I had to send the movers home. Well, at 6:40 I called the physical store, the one on Peters street in Atlanta at the number listed to make sure our things were on the way. Instead of contacting the store, I was transferred to a woman in Philadelphia who then tried to message the store. Nobody answered her, so she tried the general manager. Nobody answered again. She then transferred me to a woman in customer service in Texas who did the same thing. This time, however, she contacted the general managers personal cell phone number. She informed us that there really wasnt anything else to do except wait, and we did just that. At 8pm we try messaging Uhaul over their chat interface online to see if we can set up a new delivery window. Clearly, Uhaul outsources their online chats to different countries where the labour is cheaper, because whoevers we got couldnt understand the basics of what we were asking. All we got were scripted responses and parroted repeats of what we told them. Completely useless. That happened 2 more times. At 10:30pm that night, the general manager called me himself from his cell and told me that he would be delivering our Uboxs to us personally between 10-11am the following morning on Sunday. It was at that time that we needed to cancel our movers that we had to send home because they dont operate on Sunday, claim a reimbursement certificate from moving help, select new movers and apply our certificate to their costs and set up a new moving window for Sunday at 4pm. Come sunday morning, I call the general manager because its 10:50am and he still isnt there. Hes a bit flustered on the phone and assures me that hes loading them up now and hell be there in 40 minutes. The store is 13 minutes from our house. He forgot about our delivery. I struggled to get ahold of U-Haul all week and once I got transferred to this facility I was able to finally make arrangements. The work staff was super helpful and made sure I had my U-Haul container the next day. Delivery was on time and we’ll communicated!

You will hate this place. Costumer service is the worst. Even if you do the “Express Check in”, it might take you an hour to get your truck or get the keys if you’re moving in or out. This is crazy. People don’t know how to use the elevator so you will end up stuck for a long time before you can either come up or down. I would never use this place again.

Kind of a long wait even though I filled out all the paperwork online before coming in. Then they still made me fill it out by hand. Must have been a busy day. I had to wait to exit the parking lot once I had the truck because it was blocked by other rentals. Returning was easy though. Just parked and dropped the key off. Plus got a free dolly rental bc they hadnt cleaned out from the previous renter.

TERRIBLE attitudes to carry for young women who have potential to be way more professional. I havent been mistreated like that since High School. This is work. This is real life. The condescending remarks and snappy attitude will keep people at the same pay rate for the rest of their lives. Again, be careful how you treat people, who never know who they are or will be.

The incompetence of the employees at this location cause significant loss of time and money for my move to New York, and because of this experience I will never use U-Haul again.I reserved 10-foot truck and tow dolly a month before I needed it but when I arrived to pick up truck and tow dolly on day of reservation, the desk clerk told me they didnt have any trucks available. Waited 60 minutes while clerk called around to see where my truck was. Eventually, I was told I would receive a 15-foot truck and auto-transport (which was way too big for what I needed an increased my gas and toll bills significantly), but that was then given away to someone in line next to me who had just arrived. After 30 minutes, they finally found a 15-foot truck and auto-transport for me to use. During my transaction, the clerk allowed another clerk to input a storage unit payment, which added an extra 10 minutes to my wait. Finally, after paying for my truck and auto-transport, I waited another 45 minutes for them to put a broken auto-transport on the truck. Once they discovered the broken bracket on the trailer, they attached another trailer, this one with broken lights. I was told this was the last trailer they had and I had to take it, so I did.While the clerk was friendly about the entire situation, she never made an attempt to resolve the issue in a timely manner, instead opting to smile and tell me everything will be alright while still making me wait over an hour.Again, I will never use U-Haul again.

When I returned my motorcycle trailer, I was told that by a representative after he unhooked the trailer from my van that I was good to go. Two days later I was charged 75 dollars on top of what I had already paid for my reservation. I was told that in the system I still have the trailer even though I had returned it within 2.5 hours of renting the equipment. Terrible management.

The service agent wouldnt take a walk in, so I went outside and registered and booked online. Walked back in and then due to the 50 dollar uhaul guarantee she had to then help me. So to get her payback she in a very predatory way made me pay for 50 miles instead of 20 and then made me get the optional coverage as well. The employees here should be fired, are losing the owner money hands over fist and are predatory.

Very unorganised. It took almost an hour just to rent a small storage space and no guidance or directory was provided for locating the storage space in a very large warehouse of storage spaces. The staff seemed very confused, unprofessional, and/or stoned off their faces. I will not use this place again. On checkout, I was not given a receipt and I am not sure the closing of my account even occurred because the staff person could not operate the computer. I wonder how this place remains open for business.

This was seriously, by far, the best uhual experience I’ve ever had. I never ever fill out these surveys or do ratings but I felt so moved to do it here. Everyone hates moving. I certainly do. Usually truck pickup is part of this hatred. However, From the woman at the front counter to the man checking the truck in at the end, I was so pleased to use uhual. Everyone was so very nice and treated me like a human. I will use this location next time I move, but still let’s hope that is in a very long time. I even called them because I was going to have the truck back 15 minutes late for unforeseen circumstances, and the were calm and told me not to worry about it—that they would not charge me. A+ experience all around.

If I could give zero stars I would. First of all, I had a confirmed reservation for a 6x12 covered trailer at Peachtree road location. When I arrived to pick it up this morning, they did not have one so I agreed to go to this location (Peters) to get a hw trailer I ordered. The staff there were extremely rude to my boyfriend and I. We were told that we had to bring the trailer back to THAT location (not the originally reserved location) since that’s where we were now picking it up from. I refused and said that I would drop off at Peachtree road, since that is where I was told I could get the U-Haul originally. They said no and told me to call 1-800-go-U-Haul. I was on hold for a while so told them to go ahead and process order so we could leave (while still on hold). Then when we tried to leave, there were empty vans blocking the exit, and the worker outside was very rude to my boyfriend when he asked the employee to please move the vehicle so we could leave. Finally, after tracking approximately 200 miles, unloading the trailer at my house (about two miles from Peachtree location), we brought trailer back to Peachtree U-Haul store (I wasn’t going to drive it all the way back into ATLANTA just because they didn’t have the trailer I had reserved available this morning). Although they were much more kind at the Peachtree location, they said that I would be charged for dropping the trailer off here and not Peters st. I will be contesting and refusing to pay this extra charge. Overall, horrible U-Haul experience. Made worse by horrible customer service at the Peters location.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. SELF CHECK in is a JOKE!!Do not, and I repeat do not! reserve a truck with this location thinking that you will save time. You WILL wait in a long line whether you have a reservation or not.I reserved a truck and even paid for it online with the intent on doing self check in. However once I got to the location I was told I would still have to wait in line to get the keys for said truck. My reservation was at 9:30 but I ended up waiting in line for 2 hours.

Depends on the day and time that you visit this facility. On busy days youll wait in line anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes to be served; other days arent so bad. Made a reservation in advance to store some of my belongings. Explained that I use a walker and its difficult for me to manuver stairs. I was rented a unit that has about twenty stairs; which makes it difficult to access my belongings without assistance. Personnel arent of much help unless you offer to compensate them. Kind of makes me wish that I had chosen a different location.

Two associates were standing around at the front desk busy telling stories to one another and did not offer a greeting to me as I approached. The young lady sat looking at the computer without acknowledging me. This was the worst experience I have had thus far with moving. First off, I reserved a truck and then when I got to the location they said they did not have one available (after I stood in line for 25+ minutes). After another 5-10min they realized they did have trucks. There was a miscommunication between in staff inside vs. the guy outside with the trucks.The worst part of this locations is that upon returning my truck in the 4 hour time period that I rented it, I received an emailed receipt that charged my credit card an additional $30. They said I did not return it until the next day. COMPLETE LIE! I have the receipt from a gas station down the street on the same day that I returned it! Do not go here!

Buyer beware!! I have been with U-Haul Peters street for 2 years. After moving into a smaller space, I just did not have the room for all of the furniture that I have. First off, I was quoted one price over the phone 3 TIMES!!! and when I arrived, the storage room was higher than I had been quoted, but the movers were there so it was too late to turn back. Since then the fees have changed exponentially, and they are constantly changing and contridicting their own policies. STAY TUNED

My U-Haul was transferred to this location and when I found out I was pretty annoyed. Lots of sketchy people walk in here too- I saw a screaming fight go down and it was totally unnecessary.

Reserved a truck two weeks in advance. They didnt have it when I got to the counter because I had to wait in line for 30 minutes to get my reservation. When I showed displeasure, but remained nice about having to pay more for a bigger truck I didnt need... I was told to get your truck from somewhere else!... Lol... I did! Only 5 minutes away. They Lost my U-box, then found it, then were unable to add it to my account so I couldnt pay. All i want is for my stuff to be delivered to my new apartment and they seem incapable of adding it to my account and have now charged me a Lien fee on an account that I cant access. They have my box, I want the box delivered the same way I had it dropped off by movers. This has now been a 5 month wait and I cannot get in contact with the manager. I just want my stuff back.
