We originally had our pool built by another contractor almost two years ago. However, this summer we started experiencing some significant flaking, the spa developed a leak, and the rebar was so close to the surface we started getting rust stains. I contacted Randall and Ocean Blue Pools to come take a look and see what it would take to repair everything. We decided to go with a new Pebble surface for the pool. They drained the pool, acid washed everything, chipped away the old finish and installed the Pebble finish in the exact time frame we were given. The amount paid was exactly the amount quoted. The crews were on time every day, extremely hard working and cleaned up before they left for the day. From the time the pool was drained and filled back up was a total of seven days and we have a brand-new pool better than the one we had before. Randall and Ocean Blue Pools will be servicing all our pool needs going forward.

Randall was super responsive to my inquiry regarding my pool renovation, while other companies told me they were too busy. His crews demoed and redid all the stone work on my pool in exactly one week; this was not a small job. It looks great. Couldnt be happier.

Better than expected! 110% recommend! Randall is honest, reliable, meticulous, and very knowledgable. We are so happy we chose Ocean Blue Pools. I was expecting a salesman to come to the house to draw up the plans and estimate for the pool, but instead found Randall, THE OWNER, knocking at the door! From day one he has been in constant communication with us. And, now, months after the project is over, he emails us to see how the pool is doing and answers all our questions within minutes of sending the email. Permitting took almost 2 months! Randall had the pool filling up with water in 5 weeks! It would have been 4, but we had a whole week of rain to contend with. Our builder left us a backyard that had major drainage issues. Randall could see right away what needed to be done so that we could have a backyard oasis. He has a true vision of what can be done. It was truly a pleasure to work with you Randall!

From the initial consultation to the end-of -the- job clean-up, everything transpired on-time, as promised, and with smiles all around. We hired Ocean Blue Pools to renovate a very old pool that we were opening for the first time after a recent purchase. Randall, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and proficient. He and his team will work as hard and fast as possible to get your work done and done well. His crew is extremely polite, hard-working and professional. They left the job site in better shape than they found it, including pressure washing the pool walls; they even offered to sweep off our front driveway.The cost of the job ended up exactly as stated on the estimate. I have a background in design and was still able to lean on Randalls expertise in color and finish to attain a look that was very pleasing. The work they did was professionally finished and we are very happy with the end product.

Four years ago, I hired Ocean Blue to build my pool. Randall proved to be invaluable with his experience and expertise resulting in a pool custom made for me. Most recently, he not only honored his warranty but also did a complimentary acid wash, leaving it looking new again. You cannot ask for better customer service and follow-up.

Was looking forward to working with this company because of all the great reviews but after one attempt at reaching them on the “contact us” portion of their website, I didn’t get a response. Attempted again on the estimate portion of the website this morning and got a rude call back saying they never received the first inquiry and pretty much presumed that I was lying. Extremely rude after saying they don’t work in my area and hung up on me while I was trying to inquire about something else. If you don’t do business in my area, just say so but the attitude was uncalled for and is why I am writing this review.

Randall, I just wanted to tell you that the guys did a great job today! The clear mastic looks great.I know you did not have to replace it since it was technically out of warranty. My wife and I appreciate you going the extra mile and helping your customers.

I recommend Randall and Ocean Blue Pools to anyone looking to build (or remodel) a pool. The price and quality of craftsmanship both are excellent. After contacting a handful of pool contractors, some of whom took several days to respond to my initial call or email -- to say nothing of those who never responded -- I knew within 30 seconds of meeting Randall that Ocean Blue Pools was the company with which we wanted to work. My initial contact with Randall was an email I sent through his Web site late one night. I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up and found Randall had responded to my email at 4:30 AM! I called Randall, as he suggested, and two days later, Randall was at our home, right on time, to meet with my wife and me. I had no hesitation in signing Randalls contract, and neither should anyone else. Randall is a straight-shooter, and his constant communication throughout the entire project was surpassed only by the quality of work and service Ocean Blue Pools provided. Randalls contractors, like Randall, paid attention to detail, and made it clear that our complete satisfaction was their primary concern and objective. Like any other major construction project, we there were a couple of unexpected bumps in the road -- through no fault of Randalls -- but Randall always made sure everything was exactly as he promised it would be. Ocean Blue Pools built us a beautiful, high quality pool, and did so in roughly half the time others insisted it would take. I cant say enough good things about Ocean Blue and its owner Randall. We researched a few different pool companys around Marietta and Roswell and Randall was the most honest and knowledgeable. We could not be happier with how our pool resurfacing project turned out.

Left Randall a message for a pool estimate,,about a week later he called me back because he was out of town,,He told me how great he is,,how many pools he has done, how he has a new office I can pick hardscapes from,,I said great,,he came to my house to look at the backyard and told me he would draw up some pictures and get me a quote,, but I had a slope and he would need an engineer and the pool just to start would be in the 65000.00 range,,I said no problem,,he also stated he wouldnt recommend a pool in my neighborhood as I wouldnt get the money out of it and he eluded to me that the homes are not of a caliber to have a pool,,,,well my next door neighbor has a pool, my neighbor across the street has a pool and I know of at least 8 other homes in a 40 home neighborhood that has a pool,,,I have never heard from Randal again,,,so of course I went with a different pool company and got,,,,freeform pool with far wall of pool out of the ground so pool is built into hill with stacked stone exterior far pool wall, 2 additional retaining walls, deck jets, belgrade pavers, spa, pebblesheen, jandy iaqualink controls, aluminum 5 foot fence with 2 gates, variable speed pump, polaris cleaner with booster pump,cartridge filter, salt generator, heater. I guess my 6 figure project was too much for him to handle or he was scared of a little slope...
