I am a new business owner and decided to try this site on March 24, 2021. A guy by the name Erik Poole reached out to me and asked me some additional questions about my business. I got the feeling that when I told him this will be my first business that he was no longer interested and did not think I was serious but I went on and let him know what kind of property I was looking for. Again this was on March 24, 202. Erik reached back out to me again on March 26, 2021 for additional questions about my business. This made me hopeful that he would help me. Long story short I have not heard anything back from him at all. This website is a WASTE OF YOUR TIME! Your better off using another company or researching your own property yourself. This company is very unprofessional

This company contacted me as a follow up when I inquired online about a space. The first time this guy called and asked a few questions about what I was looking for in a space. I didnt hear back from anyone so I inquired again and ended up getting a call from a gentleman named “Erik” . I let him know that I have a primary location and that I’m just looking for a small space for this project. I could tell almost immediately that he wasn’t interested in helping because it was a low budget target. He said that he would get back to me but after not hearing back I emailed him and asked if we could proceed. I only had a small window to search and I was counting on him to connect me with leasers. I never heard back from him until this day (weeks later). Ignore every email I sent as if we’d never spoke. As a business owner, the unprofessionalism I experienced was enough to make me cringe. Enough to push me to writing a lengthy review before I even drink my morning coffee because this week will now be 10x harder as I pile my search onto my work load (something I was could have resolved had it not been for this company leading me on) #notcool

I own a tech company in Atlanta Georgia that has been established for three years now. I decided I wanted to expand my company from office space only to a space that would be larger with the ability to house my R&D team and have a location to create creative content. At first I just wanted something like studio space, but after discussing options with partners and associates over the weekend I realized I would like to move my office into an industrial space along with my team, before I could even contact Leiah about my change of mind which was only a few days later she sent me an email saying my business isnt suitable for Tenantbase.Leiah had a phone meeting with me last week, said she would find a location, then emailed me back that day asking me if I could go up on my lease rates per month, I said I could and gave her the numbers in detail, she then asked for our web address and company info then came back on Monday with rejection.Im not sure how Leiah researched the entire Tenatbase database in just a weekend nor do I understand how 11 other advisors on the Tenantbase team has zero access to a space or landlords that could suit my business needs, what I do understand is for some reason after researching my business Leigh and who ever else decided not to do business with my company.Below is correspondence between Leiah and I:Hello Laura,After reviewing the business a bit more, Im not sure the landlords we work with will be open to the studio use. I researched a few properties, but they really are designed more for traditional office/warehouse/flex uses. Even if you could make the space work, landlords typically gear their properties towards more traditional tenants. I do wish you the best of luck in your search, and please feel free to continue to use our website for research! Her email was confusing so I replied with:What does traditional tenant mean exactly? Then I called her and left a voice mail explaining my confusion. She then replied:Laura,A lot of flex office parks are designed more for tenants who have an office and storage component. For example, an exterminator company who keeps their equipment in the warehouse and uses the office for admin work. There are probably studio spaces out there, its just not what the TenantBase platform is focused on and what my specialty is, so I dont know the best landlords to help you.I replied in detail to Leiahs emails but there is not enough character space to include that portion of our communication so I uploaded a screenshot of that email. Leiah never replied to my last email.Im not sure how a tech company is not a traditional tenant especially in Atlanta which is one of the top five states for technology plus I know many tenants currently with TenantBase who have Industrial spaces that are not just being used for office/storage space, these companies actually referred me to Tenantbase, but after speaking with them regarding Leiahs emails, they were just as confused as I was because one of the tenants has a studio through TenantBase currently.Im not sure why Leiah handled my business this way, I just know this all feels a bit odd to me.
