The attendants were very helpful in getting me started. Because Speed Queen was running a special (free wash) today she explained how it works and scanned my Speed Queen card just for verification. I had a very good experience and will continue to do my laundry at the Headland Drive location.

This laundry facility is very Professional. Although they are in the hood, the hood is good. Its near Greenbriar Mall and a host of restaurants. Feel free to go right next door to Wendys or across the street to Captain Ds or Checkers. While your clothes are washing you can run across the street to Kroger s and get your grocery shopping on. The laundry mat also have deals for the customers on holidays. Like on Memorial day when you get a card to put your money on so that you can wash your clothes you got double money, I pit $20 on my card and got an additional $20. I had $40 on my card in all. You can use the money on your card to purchase items behind the counter like washing powder, fabric sheets, a.laundry bag big enough to have a potato snack race in for only $8.00. The young lady that worked Memorial day weekend late evening was very Professional and kind. Everything I looked up she was doing some kind of work from folding people laundry, emptying the trash assisting the customers with purchases from behind the counter etc. She made my late evening washing quick and enjoyable because of her warm personality. They have flat screen TV for your entertainment as well as a station area where you can charge your phone and an area where you can eat you food . I give this place of business 5 stars.

For the second time this place has taken my money. I cant get it back because of the hours I work, there should be a manager there at all times . I wont be back and Im trying to discourage others from going there horrible place if you have to do laundry after 11pm

I havent been to the laundry mat in years, but its a different experience when you have to use their pre- payment cards in order to wash and dry. It wasnt bad, but I would rather stay home and wash...nice facility and clerks though🤗

Usually this place isnt bad but today is not a good day. I dont carry cash all the time so when I got here, they only accept cash. I left to go get some cash only to come back and no washers were available. Im sitting here now waiting on a washer to become available but nothing is available after an hour of waiting. At Least have some air in this place while you wait because this is frustrating.I notice a couple of washers on 0 min. left and the owners of the clothes are no where to be found. The front desk just told me I have to wait 15-20 minutes. Now Im getting angry because I have lesson plans to write for my class tomorrow.

I really like coming to this laundromat. It is very convenient, clean and the employees are helpful. However, I need you all to please get your hours of operation corrected. It says Open 24 hours but since the pandemic it hasnt been 24 hrs. The last time I did my laundry here, I asked one of the employees if they were back to 24 hrs and she said yes. It also says 6 a.m-12 a.m but this is the 2nd time I have come here at 6am and theres no one here. I also came earlier around 2am, it was closed. I came back at 6am..it is still closed. Yall need to get it together. People who are on the move and trying to get things done do not have time to waste and this has been a waste of MY time on both occasions. Please DO BETTER!

Best laundromat Ive been to in my life they are very clean and convenient with 24hour availability the staff is very friendly and all at an affordable price. Not to mention theres perks once you become a regular.

12/21 Excellent customer service last night the Laundry Attendant. Didnt get her name. She was so helpful and patient. She took the time to show me how to use the laundry card machine and which washer would work best for my size load. Very clean inside, machines work great and fast drying. Prices were very reasonable. This location will definitely be my go to, if needed.

Its clean and a nice size but its too expensive. Especially in the neighborhood its in. The regular machines are $6.60 to start and if you press heavy it goes up 30 cents and if you press perm press it goes up to $7.20! The big washer is $12 alone and they charge $1.90 to dry for 30 minutes! Smh if you try to add minutes the machine charges you and extra $2.25 for 7 minutes 😳. I spent over $30 to was when I never spend no more than $20. Its not worth it at all.

I use them in a pinch... what I will say is the wash dry and go service is out of this world! Clothes come out so clean and soft! I’m almost upset that I can’t go more often.

Louise, the lady that works at night is the sweetest person I have ever met. This was my first visit here and from the moment I walked in the door she made sure I knew how to use all the machines and even gave me some advice on how to wash my clothes better. Its really rare to meet someone like Louise. She brightens the day of everyone around her and really cares about people. The owner of this business should thank her for doing such a wonderful job. She is generates real customer loyalty. She deserves to be recognized.

The touch screen display which you have to use because this places doesnt accept cash into the machines barely works. I spend at least half an hour trying to buy a card and load it to wash a load of clothes. The attendant behind the counter gave me a number to call to complain which didnt help because it still didnt allow me access to speak to anyone . The temperature inside felt like the AC wasnt be even on so I sweated so bad I was forced to wait in my car with a real AC. They do offer wash and fold services for a fee you can just drop your clothes off then pick them back up which might be a better option instead of wrestling with machines that need replacing. I most definitely will not be re- visiting this place any time soon.

I found this place to be extremely clean and well organized. The people who work here were veg friendly and knowledgeable about the equipment. This is definitely a credit to the community. The prices were great and the machines all worked.

When you find out that the store manager, Audrey Mathis has COVID-19 and is only quaratining for 8 days instead of the recommended 14 days....She was at work and Corporate NEVER told employees who was infected nor was customers informed. My sister as well as other employees and customers were put at risk due to Corporate not informing everyone. There are other locations you all can wash your clothing.

The prices are reasonable and they have a large selection of washers. The washers are varied in size according to your needs. The dryers are some of the best that I have seen. Theyre large capacity and dry large loads effectively for a small amount of money. Theres free WiFi available also.

I am a regular customer but I dont frequent laundromats. I try to patronize Speed Queen for the neighborhood ties. And I will continue to do so, but today I paid $9.65 to wash a double load of clothes! The attendant told me the machine messed up because I put too much detergent in. I absolutely did NOT! I put about 1 cup in 1st wash & 1 cup in fabric softener bin for 2nd load. It was a four load machine. I thought attendant would restart machine. She said when she sees bubbles it means too much soap! Im like i never heard of a machine stopping for bubbles. I moved wet clothes to new smaller washer and did quick wash.

Very clean, the employees are pleasant. You have entertainment and sofa chairs to make the time go by, they always have workable machines. Always have change.

This was my first and last experience. I randomly chose this location due to proximity but I will urge everyone to stay far and away. I arrived and loaded some comforters in a big machine which I thought worked as there was no sign indicating otherwise. However, after closing the door, filling it up with my Tide detergent, and inserting my payment card I came to find out it was not working. The employee was quite unprofessional stating I should have known the machine was not working based on a small screen that usually indicate the price although there was no “OUT OF SERVICE’ or ‘OUT OF ORDER” sign. She unwillingly provided some additional laundry detergent in the smallest container (significantly less than the original amount I had pour in) and didn’t offer any reimbursement for the monetary value I lost. Please stay away at all cost!!!

Been here a few times before, staff had been friendly, helpful, no issues with machines. Tonight was an entirely different story. I came in and loaded my card up with 7.40 from my bank card, I had a balance already of 3.60 went and put my clothes and soap in one of the machines, put my card in, picked my cycle, went to another machine to wash a single item, card said I didnt have enough left for the $3.45 so I went back to the card loader and from my bank loaded 6 more dollars. Went back to the machine, started it up and went outside to sit in my car.Half an hour later came in to put my clothes in the dryer and the larger machine, $5.65, hadnt washed my clothes.I had to call out for a while for the attendant as he was off sitting in one of the chairs instead of at the counter. He took my card put it in the card loader and told me I never started the machine, and I hadnt had enough money on my card, it only showed 10 transactions, and not where I had loaded 7.40 which is when I pulled up my bank account and showed I had paid.The man kept arguing, and arguing with me, and told me repeatedly he was going to give me back my money, kept walking to the register, than walking away. I literally had to put more money onto my card so I could wash my clothes, as he never refunded me my money and kept giving me a hard time.After I loaded my card for a third time, started the machine again, I went outside to my car, where he followed me and again kept telling me he was going to return my money but never did.Going back in the morning and speaking to management, this was ridiculous, $11.35 to wash one load in the medium machine.Bad service, bad machine, bad experience.

Every time i come in to wash clothes Ms. Kenya greets me and is very friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and machines available. This is my #1 go to laubdry because of the large 3 load machine.

Went on a Wednesday afternoon and didnt have to wait at all to use a washer or dryer. New machinery gets clothes dry in 30 mins for an average load and an hour with the big dryer full. Employees were helpful too. The place looked clean and new plus its right across from the mall and grocery stores.

So today I was visiting speed queen . I come here once a week. So today I came and I needed change to wash the lady with blonde curly hair shaved on the side( i asked her name and she refused to tell me)said she didnt have singles so I asked could I get a ten dollar bill. Then in comes a guy she know she just started carrying on conversation with this guy and completely ignored me so had to drive to the gas station just to get changed to wash when I come back the smaller washer I need ed were filled so I had to wait . So now Im late for work . So thanks alot speed queen.
