I Paid $1,000 for a wig blonde 28’ it was HORRIBLE!!! Shedding is so bad the wig is Da** near BALD .

Great Customer Service at both Locations, Downtown and in Riverdale. The Owner, Manager and Receptionist were all available when I came in for my appointment. Everyone was polite and accommodating. My stylist was Amaya, she did my hair promptly and gave me advice on how to maintain maintenance/upkeep of my bundles and frontal. I was very satisfied with my experience. Every time I get my hair done at Hair Fetish Atlanta I receive compliments and refer potential clients to them.My first initial appointment booked I had to cancel due to unforeseen personal circumstances. I explained the situation, the Manager Tess was very understanding and professional. She rescheduled me promptly. Some of these reviews can be deceiving. Everyone experience isnt the same. I am a reoccurring client and I will continue to refer Hair Fetish Atlanta to others. Honestly, QUALITY COST. I tried several hair bundle locations/stylist out before deciding Hair Fetish Atlanta was the best fit for me. The 1st and 15th sale $50 Bundles is what attracted me to them. I love my hair, my experience and the rapport I have with the staff. Lets support Black Owned Businesses not tear them down.Most recently I purchased two 12 bundles and one 10 frontal for my sister to go to prom and it turned out amazing.

Horrible experience buying hair from this company. Website is very misleading regarding bundle(s). I ordered MINK hair and clearly got Brazilian hair. NOT THE SAME. The owner Cornelius Redding is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and DRAMATIC won’t let you finish a sentence when being asked a question and overall very hostile and aggressive. I recently installed the hair and it’s pure 🚮TRASH 🗑 just like the owner. DO BETTER SIR!

This experience was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! I literally had to scream and yell through my phone to get my point across to the owner who was extremely combative and condescending. After a lengthy ordering process, the unit that was sent to me was still wrong. I called to try and resolved the problem when the owner accused me of trying to manipulate the unit to make it shed. The unit was fresh out of the bag and I only combed through a corner of it. I am a seasoned cosmetologist with years of experience with hair pieces and units. And if anything, I would manipulate the unit to last longer and not shed. Ive near had a unit shed so badly just combing through it and the knots were not bleached. I am horrified of the manner in which the owner handled this situation. Ive never experienced such disrespect from a company. BUYERS BEWARE!!! I will never return here. It was the most horrible I have ever had in my life! The man that answered the phone was terrible. Told me I bought cheap hair and thats why I was unhappy with my lace closure sew-in. I was totally offended and felt unappreciated for my patronage. Never again!

I was hesitant to come get buy my frontal and bundles from here because of those negative reviews. Oh was I wrong they layed my frontal and the hair is great. Its been 3 weeks no problem at all. Im about to get maintenance now so I can wear 2 more weeks. The owner is very professional and know how to treat customers

I have the 8A body wave and it’s pretty good hair, I got the hair installed in December & it’s now February & it’s still really good. You have options to get 6A to 8A grade so I assume the bad reviews are from the lower grade hair, when you pay a cheap price that may be what you receive. I recommend the owners sell high grade only to avoid issues, also I have delt with both owners they are not rude people they are just straight forward but they know hair really well and have a big selection. it’s a black business, family owned & operated and highly recommended by me!

**UPDATE w/ PHOTOS**Im not even sure what the point was of having the stylist that butchered my hair in the first place to call me but that was a pointless phone call. Nothing was done to rectify this situation. She tried to claim that the messy braids that she did for my sew-in were the standard braid down although I witnessed her do a much neater and cleaner job on another client that paid $100 less than I did!!! I paid $250 for a style that only lasted a week. I went to another salon and I am very happy with the expert stylist that was able to actually fix my hair. Do not let Ami touch your hair!!And the owner Cornelius is horrible with customer service. Just avoid this salon all together, not worth it!!Dont believe me: scroll through some of the reviews that are negative and read the automated positive response that he wrote to the NEGATIVE reviews. They do not rectify situations and where other salons have integrity this salon does not take ownership of their shortcomings. Hi I just found this place driving down by Mercedes-Benz stadium and they have the best hair ever. I love it and the customer service was awesome. I was buzzed in and only expected to get some hair but they have a Full Service Salon. My hair havent been wash in weeks so that was what I need. I will give update in 2 weeks.

For an inner city salon, i expected a place where professionalism would be outstanding. well that’s not the case. this salon is a daycare with mediocre stylist. the owner/manager Cornelius is very rude and makes the business look very bad. if you go there ask for Amaya or Tess the only young ladies that know hair health and cleanliness.

They have the best soft Brazilian, Malaysian Bundles with no shedding. I have colored the hair several times with no problems. I am also a licensed stylist so i understand bleaching. Please seek professional when coloring any hair.

Staff was polite, attentive, and answered my many many questions. I was educated on upkeep of my bundles. I wasn’t hustled and was told I came on a sale day which occurs on the 1st and 15th. Love my 14,16, 18 inch deep wave bundles from the 1st and 15th sale $50 a bundle. Received many compliments, I might even live dangers and go longer for my next set of bundles!

I love my hair from Hair Fetish Atlanta! I got my hair a couple a months ago on their 1st and 15th sale and have been back multiple times to try different textures and I have no complaints. Ive also got my hair done in their salon and love how friendly the stylist and the sale representative Tess was. I will definitely be back.

This is my second time shopping with hair fetish . I previously bought shorter length 12-14 and closure, hair quality was a lot better.First, the Sale on 1st and 15th are awesome. This time I purchased 3 bundles of 24 for $162 (tax included) . Once installed it wasnt as thick as I thought.Now both times the hair is processed (wouldnt say its virgin) when you wash it, a dark dye comes out. After you wash the hair its not the same quality. The longer it is the more it tangles. IT SHEDS LIKE A PET . I GET A BALL OF HAIR EACH TIME I BRUSH THROUGH. The more you use heat the quicker the silk quality leaves (even without a wash). Ive had it about a month now . The way I bought it is definitely not the same . (I have not dyed it or used any products with alcohol havent went swimming nothing.) Not too happy taking it out. I doubt the owner would exchange hair now . Last time Ill be shopping with hair fetish.See 20 photos. I only brush through 1 bundle (bottom) and got that much hair on the brush. The bundles are folded over 1 time only not fully stretched out.Will put updated comment separate because its too much to tag along with this review. Please see.

My experience at this salon was overall excellent. I have natural hair (neglected hair in my case) that has been covered by a sew-in for the better part of a year. I was nervous about wearing my hair but thought it was time. Patrice was reassuring and understood my fears of those dang scissors. She talked to me through the process and although I will be more intentional about asking for more moisture (deep conditioning and heat protectant serums) I will definitely be back!

I had a very positive experience. I bought 8 straight Peruvian hair. One bundle. I was only using it for my bangs. I glued this in 3 weeks ago and the hair is holding up well. No shedding, no tangles, and it waves when wet. This hair is really pretty, soft, thick, and true to length. I dont ever put heat on my hair. no straightening or blow drying. i dont add coconut oil (yet).I would recommend. Also, it shipped to my house in 2 days.

2/16/18 My first time getting a silk press. I guess I expected too much because the next day my hair was a mess. My stylist was very nice but told me she preferred doing braids so Im not sure if she was not comfortable doing the silk press. Wasted money.... I stated this is my first silk press and it wasnt raining Friday. So Mr. Owner not sure how you saying getting a silk press once every 6 months is not recommended by any stylist is related to me. And I do plan on getting another silk press in 2 weeks just not at your location. Since this didnt last 24 hours.

This hair is terrible. I purchased a silk based closure. Deep wave texture about 3 months ago. At first site the hair looked good, the lace and silk were in good condition. However the hair looks way too shiny as if it has some synthetic hairs. The first time I washed the closure, the hair became extremely tangled as fake hair would do. The texture of the hair felt completely different while the shampoo was in it. I had to use an abundance of conditioner to untangle the hair. I later noticed that the hair SHEDS SOOO MUCH. One to two combs through the hair and clumps of hair would come out. I do not recommend this hair at all.

This by far was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life , went in for a 360 frontal install and the stylist cut the lace way to far back , i went to try to talk to the manager and he was very nasty, rude and unprofessional. He blamed me for my hair being messed up and tried to make me wait a extra 4 hours for it to be fixed after the stylist was already a hour and a half late to the 10am appt that i scheduled, he also tried to claim i was a walk and tried to use that as a excuse ! It wasn’t until i had my bf come in the shop then he calmed down a lot he didn’t wanna talk anymore and his whole tone of conversation changed! Please don’t ever waste your time or money coming here ! I’m quite sure there are plenty of other decent shops around with better stylist, better customer service and better experience, this place is so trash. !!!!!

I ordered this hair from the website because I am not local. I was a little nervous because I didnt think Id get it by Saturday like I was told I would (I ordered on Tuesday evening). I did receive it on Saturday like the owner advised me I would. The tracking and shipping information was a little unclear because I was never given a tracking number but with a simple phone call that was cleared up. The hair itself it absolutely beautiful. Ive already installed it and had it in a few days now. Its so silly and shiny and the wefts are nice and thick. It does NOT shed OR TANGLE! I cant stress that enough! The frontal I got is so close to my skin complexion that I didnt have to do anything to the lace at all. Im overall very pleased with my experience and will most definitely be ordering again!

Of course I booked an appointment, my stylist was extremely late. I waited inside and was handed a remote to watch tv as I wait for my LATE stylist. As she does my hair, she leaves me under the drier for unnecessary amounts of time to appeal to her other clients, who she was also late for. At this point, I am sitting under the drier, watching her do other clients, while me, her first client, is nowhere near done. The end result was hideous! it looked like the frontal was just a wig sitting on top of my head. the frontal was coming up by the end of the night, and when I called to tell them my issue they said it was nothing they could do without me paying an additional fee. Then the hair that they used was terrible. The frontal tangled up in the first week, I could only wear one part because the tangling was so bad. I spent so much money just to have this sew in for about 2 weeks. i would not suggest this salon to my worst enemy.

I was referred here by one of my co-stylist who is associated with someone at hair fetish...I called and spoke to a nice man who broke down bundle deals and prices...because he was so nice and professional I decided to buy hair from them...In store when I first walked in a young lady was outside the door and advised me to wait a moment before entering...She had a bit of an attitude but I brushed it off...I was in there for probably 30-40 minutes and the gentleman took his time to explain everything, showed me things he thought I may like based off the consultation, and we went from there...at some point the young lady who initially asked me to wait outside the door came in and was continuously interrupting the gentleman when speaking to me... I guess she felt that I should t be asking about the quality and maintenance of hair...but it was my first time buying their hair and I was spending $450+taxes so I feel like I should be able to ask whatever question will make me feel comfortable....But she had a nasty attitude towards the other women that came in as well so Im not quite sure what the issue was...but nonetheless I got the hair.... So here are my critiques...1.)The hair does color well without having to perform a dual process2.) The hair maintains a slightly more loose curl pattern after being colored and cleansed(which was fine for me because I had the curly loose tip and I wanted the curl to drop)3.)My hair did press out with ease and return back to a natural pattern4.)I found that I could not not do the hair for a day because it would end up getting frizzy or balling up in the back or high ponytail (9/10 I wrapped it or twisted it or braided it to maintain its look but if I didnt it did not handle well)5.)If you are looking for a short wear but more natural look this will be good for 1-2months depending on the pattern because I had the curly loose tip and Malaysian loose wave the Malaysian maintained better.6.) Even though the gentleman was nice I will NEVER buy from them again 1 because the ladies attitude was over the top for no reason and 2 I dont mind spending money but I would like for it to be worthwhile!

Staff were very professional when I came to the Northside location. The girl in the front helped me choose the best texture I needed for the style I wanted.

I called the gentleman that answered the phone was very polite and knowledgeable. Set an appointment for my daughter came in and had the pleasure of meeting Char.She provided my daughter with wonderful service and my daughter was very happy with the results. I will be returning for myself and my daughter .

After posting a review I received multiple text messages from the owner himself and I might I add Im so glad I didnt allow them to do my hair. He only proved my review to be very accurate. Very rude and unprofessional

They need to give prices ahead of time, instead of sneaking it in afterwards. I asked for the 50 dollar special and the total bill was 135. A cut was somehow added, when the only thing that was cut was the side bang. I didnt even ask for the bang. The sew-in was and net was fine. Just didnt appreciate how the bill was more than what we talked about and what she did.

I moved to Atlanta three years ago and was so discouraged because I couldnt find anybody to do my weaves properly because I have alopecia. From the minute I walked into Hair Fetish Salon I was pleased. Nice atmosphere, they offer water and wine to their clients, recliner hair dryers and I was assigned to Charmaine. OMG she is amazing I showed her a style I saw on YouTube and she installed and customized my wig exactly how I wanted it done. She even oiled my scalp and did a steam treatment, i can not find anybody to do that anywhere. I am SO PLEASED!!!! Char was very friendly and attentive to all my needs, it is safe to say I have a new stylist. I AM SO HAPPY!!!!

This closure melted right on to my flat iron right after washing and installing. It was trash. It was a deep wave, silk base closure. This was about 3 yrs ago so maybe they’ve changed vendors by now.

I am a hair stylist and I buy bulks of hair from different locations/vendors. I called and inquired about a BRAZILIAN CURLY 14 FRONTAL I wanted to purchase for a client. Not body wave, not straight, not deep wave, LIKE MALAYSIAN OR PERUVIAN CURLY HAIR . Then man automatically stops me and says if you didnt buy the hair from here then we cant match hair with any other vendor because we dont know what CURLY youre talking about, some people call up here saying they want CURLY and they mean body wave. I said I know what body wave is Im talking about a bohemian type texture. Then he goes to say there is no such thing as bohemian.... at that point Im ready to hang up because he was being very unprofessional, i have been a stylist for 10 years and I dont appreciate how my whole conversation was flipped from an inquire about me purchasing hair to him telling me I dont know anything . It was horrible customer service .****UPDATE!!!!!***I got 3 missed called from a unknown number , and when I answered the owner of the store said he was very upset and said he didnt appreciate my review and he would find my business and leave a review on my page. UNPROFESSIONAL AS HELL !!!

This salon may look good when you walk in but the service is terrible. I arrived for my 1pm appointment to have a lace wig installed only to find a lady still in the chair. I went to get something to eat and she was still in the chair. I asked the owners baby momma if she can give me the plucking for free for inconveniencing me. She gave me attitude and then asked Charmaine. Charmaine seemed like she obliged but never gave it to me. I walked out looking like I had a full wig on not a full lace. When I asked again before she installed it, she said its an extra twenty dollars. After making me wait two hours to start when I arrived ON TIME for my appointment, she did not offer me any comlensation. Another lady walked in at 2:30 for her appointment to find me waiting and the same lady STILL in the chair. Charmaine is ridiculous and so is the owners baby momma who left the 13 month old in his walker dragging around what seemed like days worth of hair and garbage under his bare feet. They literally let me out that chair at 5:30. The lady after me took my phone number because we spent so much time together. When I called her the next day, she said that Charmaine let the owner do her hair while she (the paying client) waited. She left at 9:30pm! They tried that with me towards the end, Charmaine put me under the drier for 30+ minutes and was trying to get started on the other ladies hair. I said no, no, no, come and finish me off, I have to go now. Ive been here since 1:30pm. She reluctantly came over to add two stitches to the front. 30 minutes for Schwarzkopf its got be glued when its suppose to be a two minute blow dry, yall?! This left me with the impression that theyre on drugs or just ghetto as hell. Not going back, if you dont listen to this then you deserve the attitude, poor customer service, negative conversations (asked me my sign then told me a negative story about a friend who is the same sign, called her stupid) and TIGHTLY pulled hair. Never again! You type of stylists make people want to loc it and forget you.

After hearing about the 1st and 15th sale I decided to call and ask questions about it being that this would be my first time purchasing hair from a company that I know nothing about. When I called there was a guy that answered the phone and he was rude from hello, the tone to each response he gave was very negative and he acted as if I were bothering him. He then have the nerve to ask me are you trying to start your own hair company or are you going to come buy some hair? It took everything in me to keep my composure. I like the hair but it contained a strong scent. I washed it a couple of times in Sulfate Free shampoo and conditioner and its better now.

Is some great hair before you try to bleach it or lighten hair dosent no go back to natural state

Why have a 1st and 15th month sale if u can’t get wht u want 24” is thin u would need two of those to make the style look right.... bad customer service first and last time going there

This is the worse hair I have ever purchased. This hair is worst then the beauty supply store. I purchased 2/20 and 1/22 and a closure. I got home and began to examine the hair and it had a lot of split ends and didnt look good at all. I decided to take the hair back and exchange it for their 7a hair. I paid the difference but I really think the girl gave me the same hair. Any way I notice this hair was the same way, but since I couldnt get my money back I decided to install the hair. When I say this hair sheds it sheds. Combing running brushing hair is every where. I washed the hard while it was installed and the shedding doubled. Please dont not waste ur money on this hair I wish I could have given no star. Never again will I purchase from them

If I could give the quality of this hair no stars I would. I bought my hair about 1 week ago. I took all the necessary steps Co wash, rinse and dried my hair and the very first time I put heat on this hair its shriveled up like pure synthetic hair. I bought his hair for a wedding and I swear I looked like a damn fool. A customer service was pretty good but the quality of the hair is very horrible. Ive never had hair this bad I think even synthetic hair would have been better than this with this experience Im very well known and a lot of my friends go off of my recommendation to buy hair I would never recommend this company please even if youre trying to save money do not waste your time with this company and this fake Brazilian hair. Another thing the hair looks like its been dyed. Maybe they tried to use some fake Brazilian hair and dyed it to make it look like a natural Brown but I have streaks of red in my hair so much so that I was asked if I dyed the hair the quality is so horrible I really cant get over it I would rather go to the hair store seriously.

(Screenshots are available).. The owners attitude is DESPICABLE!!! I saw an ad on Craigs List stating that they were hiring for a stylist. My assistant reached out to him to inquire about the position. She told him that I would get back with him. He (the owner) then texted my phone this morning stating I meet a lot of wanna be stylist. I then called him to discuss the position. He abruptly interrupted me and said How do I know Im talking to the stylist? Well this is the same number the assistant was texting from! I immediately informed him that she used my phone to inquire about the job and apologized to him. We then spoke about the position. As I was explaining to him that I am really a licensed stylist (for 17 years and a licensed instructor for the state for 9 years) and what I am looking for, he RUDELY interupted me and said Mam, mam.. Can you do a lace front? Thats all I want to know. You and the assistant meet me at the salon! I need a salon manager. Now for starters, we havent negotiated pay, hours of operation, commission or booth rental, verification of my license, or even the exact location of the salon. At that point I ended the call. His customer service is horrible, he is not management material, and he deserves to be shut down until he learns proper business etiquette and professionalism. Really thinking about sending my sister who works for state board in there to give him a few sanitation citations. If his attitude is nasty... Im pretty sure his salon is too. Looks very low budget on the website....Happy Wednesday...

Will not purchase hair from this retailer again, hair looked great once I received it however once it was installed, it matted and shed beyond belief. This was a bad investment and wast of my hard earned money. Maybe it was the texture I usually purchase the Brazilian Body wave and tried Malaysian instead worst decision ever . I through the hair away once it removed the install Wast of Money!!!

Came here for a silk base closure. The customer service of Cornelius/Sales Manager/owner was horrible.. He was very rude and unprofessional. The way he talked to me and the faces he made when asking hi questions was uncalled for. I try to support black business but that’s why some black business is not as prosperous as others.This is my first and last time purchasing anything from here. The closure looked weird as well bc I never have seen a silk base closure with sewing thread visible in front of closure. I shouldn’t have purchased it but it last minute for a family member that really needed her hair done.. Go somewhere else that knows how to treat their customers!! Hope he reads this too..

Came from sc to get my frontal installed, just for it to only last me 2 days before it started peeling up. She did not do the entire process right and so my lace was white looking and the glue was caked up. Paid way too much money for a 2 day hairdo.

This company is very rude they get mad when you cancel an appointment. I was harassed late at night for cancelling an appointment and they didnt stop there they went to my company website and sent me a hate message and on top of calling me late was sending emails being rude they are not professional at all. I dont suggest anyone to visit. I was going to blast them on social media but didnt want to be petty or run their business what little they probably are getting because for someone to do all that they had to be desperate for the money

First visit and my stylist was Tamia. She did a great job. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Char was also there. Both ladies were really down to earth with great energy. I would recommend both of them. Let me just add that everybody thinks they can do hair in Atlanta. I been To many salons once and will never go back....I will definitely be back on Tamias chair. Thank you for an amazing customer experience... you cant put s price tag on that. Im a real customer @chipzatl
