I am a design professional (architect), and one of the most dreaded phrases that I hear is, Ive been through a bunch of you folks and they were all awful. So, I didnt open conversation with Sean at Darwin, using that line. It may have been a bit disingenuous of me, but wed had more than one web designer take our money and hand over either a totally unacceptable result or merely disappear. Sean came with the highest recommendations from nearby businesses, had maintained his own business for a number of years, and had samples of his designs for our review. We dumped an old, cruddy website on him, which I had designed myself, and asked him to transform it. He did so, beautifully! (... and beyond) Not only that, but knowing that well have a great deal more content to add later, he has shown me how to do this and is available to consult if I need help along the way.
