Boutte is our go-to tree service, and we have used them multiple times. On each occasion, they have been easy to work with, extremely communicative, and nothing but professional. The work is always done well, and you never even know theyve been there. This past time, they removed a tree in our back yard while we were on vacation. We got back; the tree was gone with absolutely no indication that they had even walked in our back yard, let alone taken out the trunk and limbs! Excellent business and we highly recommend.

They removed a rather large tree in a tight space with the use of their crane. They showed up on time, everyone was extremely nice and polite. They made sure I knew of any damages that might occur to my yard with the use of the crane and were upfront about everything. I am very pleased with their services and will choose Boutte again if I need any tree services in the future.

Boutte Tree did fantastic work removing a fallen tree from recent storms along with removal of some ugly out of control bushes around the property. The arborist named Bruce they sent out for the initial consult was extremely professional and offered advice on maintaining the other trees and plant life in my yard. There was a bit of a wait to get the project started, it is spring time and they are a highly regarded company, but all said and done I was very happy with my experiences and they did a great job.

We had other companies propose on the work and they all recommended completely removing the trees. Boutte pruned a large Beech tree overhanging our roof and cabled a magnolia with a split trunk. They are extremely busy so it took four months to get the job done but it was worth the wait as the crew provided knowledgeable, professional service. They knew exactly where to cut in order to avoid too radical a prune, and carefully avoided dropping limbs on our azaleas underneath. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to neighbors.

Alex Martin is the best arborist Ive seen. He thoroughly examined my red oak and discovered that it was hollow at its base. It had to be removed. He coordinated with the administrative team, as well as, the removal team. Kelly, Jessa and Amy were assigned as my administrators. They were most helpful! The removal & grinding team: Trent scheduled the first available dates and team Jacob removed my red oak and trimmed my remaining trees. Team Charles finished the job with the grinding of the stump. All in all I am quite satisfied with Boutte Tree Service and will use them for all of my Tree Service needs. I highly recommend them!

Boutte did an excellent job trimming several trees in our yard. They were on time, hard-working, and efficient. More curt than cordial when answering the phone and first responding to my question.Despite my best attempt to ask politely, not helpful in my attempt to get an answer over the phone to a question about where to plant a tree. One minute of their expertise was not given, they instead require my scheduling a quote.Thankfully Pike came through for us with a 95 second answer

We also appreciated the work of Maquise, Gerber and Amy, that made our experience end on a positive note! Jessa apologized for issues, and said the company would do a better job of explaining terms, removal process, and take time/slow down, mark things for removal, etc which we greatly appreciated. They removed the item from our bill that was not completed, and the other item in question why sent someone out to do a touch up on in just two days.***My family and I wanted so badly to love this tree company! Unfortunately we have had a BAD experience. Please view the attached correspondences + images of our experience...With such high reviews from other families and their commitment to using non-toxic materials to remove underbrush and trees, I was excited to utilize their company. We wanted an oak tree to be pruned to allow more space above our home, underbrush removed on the left side of our home to the property line, to have resulting stumps ground and to have the mulch from our job left onsite. After waiting two months for our job day (due to the pandemic they said the wait times for jobs were very long) it was finally there. We didnt expect to have to watch the crew as they completed the job, but there were issues from the start. The crew was driving off and we asked them where was our mulch? They came back to dump off our mulch. They dumped the entire days mulch (see attached photo) in front of our home. I know other families are raving about their mulch drop off, but we only wanted our mulch from our job, as noted in our job proposal. It is such high quality, but not what we asked for. Again, we didnt expect to watch every hour of what the crew was doing. When we told their front desk, the arborist, the crew— just everyone we could, to their team, what occurred the desk said that was awful and it would get corrected. They also apologized. The arborist, however, sent us a message stating it would be $325 to remove mulch that was not designated to be dropped off at our site (see image). I talked to the Operations Manager, because at this point, days have passed and our neighbor is calling the police on us due to the mulch mound and even threatening to call the city. He states I hate to do this to you, but can you please send over a copy of your proposal where it states you only want YOUR mulch. I do that (see attachment), and still being polite ask him to please send over from the company some letter stating they will remove it in the event another office from the city comes to our home. Not only does the entire office leave for the day, not respond to our calls or email, but the arborist gives us a call. He states, yet again, we will need to charge you $325 to get the mulch. Our entire weekend was ruined, spent dealing with police calls, begging their office to deal with their crews mistake and constantly having to send over copies of our emails, proposals, everything to prove to them we only wanted OUR mulch. The Operations Manager then states our crew should have made your home the first stop, so you only got your mulch, I said I agree but again we arent the crew or the arborist, so why is that our fault… We are at our wits end. They are still requesting payment, and we are still scrambling with kind, honest local landscapers to deal with it. But this wasnt their issue, and their schedules are book. I see all of thee amazing reviews and wonder why our little home was treated — for a lack of better terms— like dirt. On top of all this, the stump grinding was not done. Their stump grinder came out the day after the crew worked to grind the stump, but stated there were no stumps to grind and said he would have them waive the fees for that. We said okay, we cant see any either— sounds good! Remember, we had small underbrush removed not giant trees… Their arborist, then comes out to point out a ton of small stumps and says sorry about that, he should have ground it.

Signed up on the website for a delivery of mulch. As a tree business when they do a job often times they need a place to dispose of the chips so they offer it as a service. Got a text message and after answering yes 10 minutes later received an entire truck full of oak mulch free of charge. It was more than expected, but my neighborhood was more than happy to assist in thinning out the pile. Just be warned, of you need a little, you will end up with a lot.

I got recommendations from my neighbor via Nextdoor. I submitted the request online and was contacted with an appointment schedule on the following day. Phil from Butte Tree came as scheduled (even on a storming day). I got the quote on the same day. Although I had accepted the proposal online but somehow the office never received it. One phone call is all I need to get a schedule date to work on my project. Because the nature of my tree trimming works, I was able to be on the Greenlight List so the works were done within a week rather than two months out that was scheduled. The crews are very good at what they do. They are fast, thorough and clean up all the debris. I highly recommends Butte Tree! They are very informative, knowledgeable and professional. If your works is eligible for the Greenlight List, sigh up!

We had a great experience working with Boutte Tree. They were professional, thoughtful, profoundly knowledgeable, and they even had a lower quote than other companies. They were recommended by a tree professional we usually work with, because he said it required a crane. We had a huge old water oak hanging over our house and our neighbors, in a pretty narrow space, and it had some rot and was a danger. They were very thoughtful, careful, safe, and even cleaned up beautifully. They were compassionate too--after a huge section of trunk traveled by crane over our house to our driveway, they heard a sound in a small hollow, turned it, and a squirrel ran out and down the street! They thought she looked like a mama squirrel, so they cut closer to where shed been nesting and went through all the nesting material to make sure there werent any baby squirrels to help. (There werent, luckily!) We will definitely call them when we have to say goodbye to our other old trees.

I wrote a 5 star review of this business a year ago because they did a wonderful job were a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, I need to recant my review. Had an appointment yesterday to have an arborist come and evaluate several trees on a property line I share with my neighbor. Both of us attended the consultation and were anticipating to hire this company to remove several trees. The arborist who came out was very inflexible and said he was there to evaluate one tree and one tree only. When asked if he could look at more than one tree on the property he replied that he wasnt about to give out free information and that he wasnt wearing the appropriate footwear to do so. When I told him that I had used Boutee Tree last year to complete a similar job and had left a 5 star review on the page he told me that I should have informed him of that earlier in the meeting so that he possibly would have been more accommodating. It was a very bizarre interaction and frankly a waste of time because we couldnt convince the arborist to give us a full price quote for the job we wanted to complete. Management was very responsive and offered an apology but unfortunately this company has lost my business as well as my recommendation.

After a hurricane came through, we had a large tree that fell in our backyard and was being supported by other large trees. We called Boutte Tree. We sent them an email of pictures and someone was on site for a quote within 72 hours. This was a really fast turn around considering trees were down all over the city after the storm. We received 3 quotes and Boutte Tree was the lowest. They sent a team two days later and kindly accommodated our schedule. The tree removal team were definitely PROFESSIONAL! I contacted Boutte Tree to get a quote to trim a large tree that was touching our house and over hanging onto our neighborhood shared driveway. Their Tree Specialists replied quick and was able to come to my home within a week to provide a quote. They were very professional and very patient answering all of my questions and even provided additional quotes and insight on other trees on our property. When it came time to do the work, they were able to bump me up so that the work happened faster than originally anticipated. The team did a great job clearing all the nuisance limbs and conducting a thorough clean up. Overall Boutte Tree provided a great quoting, communication, and work experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for experts on trees for their home! Additionally, during COVID times, they were mindful of social distancing and the crew showed up and completed all the work without coming to our door which is greatly appreciated for their consideration.

Arborist have a lot of knowledge and good advice. I removed 1 dead tree and trimmed three medium size tree and 1 large oak tree. It was easy to schedule and follow up after the estimate. They schedule about 4 weeks for the estimate and 4-8 weeks for the job, so plan ahead

This is my second time using Boutte Tree, I hired them to remove 10 trees, 2 trees were damaged during the storms a few weeks back and needed them to come out sooner which thankfully they were able to fit us in 10 days earlier. They did a great job and left the area nice and clean! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Was super impressed with Boutte - from sales to execution. Had experience with another large tree service company in the area to deal with an emergency (Boutte could not handle at the time) and the interaction was night and day. Todd was extremely transparent from the beginning and was easy to allow small changes to my scope of work. Only downside is they are so busy you are scheduling almost 2 months in advance. However the team did a quick job, and really cleaned up the areas after them (I had to clean up after the other tree company we used).

Absolutely worth the wait. There is a reason this company is so busy and it is there trusted expert advice, timelessness and professionalism and solid work. They came out to my house today to do pruning and they were great. We walked the property to review the work and they got right to it. The crew leader checked in with me at several points on the job to make sure I was satisfied with the work. They even saw small details and attended to them that I hadn’t seen in the first place. Their arborist evaluated two dying trees, applied for permits, and had a crew take down the two large trees for me in a challenging area at the top of a steep driveway and also pruned a few others. I was pleased with the quality of their teams work and their customer service. There was one minor area of damage to my property during removal when a limb split in half while being lowered, and they were very responsive in addressing the small repair (with no additional cost) to my satisfaction. Theyll be my first call for any future tree needs at my home.

Boutte Tree, Inc. was professional, responsive and pleasant to work with from our first contact to our last. From the beginning, Tyler answered all of our questions (lots) and was patient with us as we decided the scope of our project. The quote was fair and once we signed the contract, the price never changed. We had multiple visits to our property over a number of months in order to complete our job and each visit the crews were on time, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a few areas of damage that we pointed out and the company was proactive in coming up with a solution that we really appreciated. Amy expertly coordinated the crews throughout our project and was extremely communicative and responsive. We really appreciated working with such a great team all the way around.

Had Boutte remove some super tall (but dying) Leyland Cypress trees in our backyard. Very professsional, great communication and reasonable cost. They took care of all the permitting with the city, had their crew in and out in less then a day and then had someone come out to grind the stumps a couple of days later. Highly recommend.

Reasonable pricing, very knowledgeable staff, and gave multiple options on quote for removing tall dead pines. No money needed up front and invoice was not sent until everything was removed and cleaned up.The crew did a great job laying down plywood to protect the grass from the lift and tractor. Very pleased that the yard was not torn up! They also did a great job cleaning up. There were a few large pieces that they couldnt take, but another truck hauled them away first thing the next morning.

I engaged with Boutte to diagnose and treat a very large tree in my backyard, and they came out on Saturday to trim away branches and to attach wire bracing. They did an outstanding job. I had a 36 Inch wide Oak Tree on my property that started showing signs of decay. This tree was enormous, and would have caused extensive damage to my home/property if it had fallen. Boutte came out and gave a more than reasonable quote to have the tree removed, permit included. This is the second time I have worked with Boutte, Todd Harkleroad is an incredibly professional, punctual, and knowledgeable Arborist. Todd makes the process extremely easy, and explains things each step of the way. Todd, Jacob, and their team removed this 36 in wide Oak Tree from my property flawlessly in about 4 hours. I was amazed by how swiftly and quickly their process was. There was no damage to my property, and I will continue to use Boutte as I highly recommend them to anyone in need of an Arborist. 10/10!

We had a 60 inch twin oak removed, one of which had a menacing lean towards our and our neighbors house. The crew was very punctual and professional, working with precision and in unison, all with a good sense of humor. Unfortunately, plans had to change when the big crane could not be employed from the neighbors driveway, and they had to shift to a manual take-down in a confined workspace (increasing the cost). We appreciated that they safeguarded our patio and wall. Some damage occurred to plants and trees in the yard, but hey: you have to break some eggs if you want an omelette.

This is our second time using Boutte for tree removal. Our first job was much larger but the experience was the same. They are very responsive to inquiries. I sent a request via their website and they responded right away. Todd came out to evaluate our dead tree and sent estimate from his car. My husband and I have worked with Tyler Baxter for many years on the various tasks required to manage our extensively planted and well established garden. One of the biggest challenges we have is the care of a massive Burfordii Holly Hedge that is over 30 years old, covers approximately 200 feet from the front to the back of our property on one side and is approximately 18 feet tall. Since our lot slopes downward and we want the hedge to maintain a level height rather than follow the grade, a great deal of skill and patience is required to achieve the look that we desire. In addition the hedge is most easily accessible from our neighbors property but they do not want any equipment in their driveway. This year the team pruned the hedge by climbing inside the shrubs and by using orchard ladders. They did a super job! Among other tasks this year they also removed a cedar tree that was damaged during the December snow storm. At my request they left the stump so that we could install a cedar birdhouse. Boutte Tree did a beautiful job trimming a couple of pecan trees in our yard and removing a magnolia that I had planted too close to the foundation. They were not only efficient, they cleaned up after the work and were very economical--make sure you have them bid on any job you are contemplating.

This is the 4th time Ive used Boutte Tree for helping us maintain the trees around home. What I like about them is they love trees and want to help you keep them healthy. This time I needed two ancient Dogwoods removed because they were dead. They also trimmed 4 other Dogwoods that were getting closer to the house. Plus they did maintenance pruning on a huge Maple and even bigger Water Oak that shade our house. Having them come on a regular basis gives us the peace of mind that we dont have a dangerous problem lurking overhead. In addition to that, they also bring a wood chipper which grinds up the debris and haul it away. No mess to deal with later. You wont be disappointed!

I hired Boutte Tree to prune a few trees on my property, and to remove a pile of branches and logs that I had accumulated over time. Scheduling an appointment for an estimate was easy and quick and the office staff sent me a google calendar invite. The arborist, John Kaufman, showed up on the scheduled day; I thought he was polite and professional. He offered an estimate same day. Scheduling was easy, and in fact Boutte was able to come out and complete the job within a few days due to a cancellation on their schedule. The original plan was to leave the larger log pieces at the curb for the City of Atlanta to pick up, because this would cut cost. Boutte ended up removing all of the wood pile from my property and did not charge anything extra. Boutte was not the cheapest company, but I felt confident hiring them based on customer service and professionalism. Im pleased with the work they performed at my property.

They recently installed steel cabling in an ancient pecan tree with limbs over my house, keeping me and my house better protected. The work was done with great efficiency and courtesy. I picked Boutte Tree Service for residential small tree and brush removal at my property because of their proximity in NW Atlanta and because of some other larger scale work I had observed them doing in the area. The way the estimate visit was scheduled and took place was obviously from a highly professional organization. Our condo had this company trim our trees and wow they really trimmed them bare. I’m devastated with how much they cut away and how bare the trees will look this Spring.

We had Boutte come out to trim some low branches and dead branches from a large elm in our back yard. We were concerned that some of the branches would fall and cause damage either to property or people. First of all, I really appreciated that John was interested in helping us maintain the health of the tree and gave us different options. Second, the crew that came out was fantastic. I knew from previous experience that they would be fantastic and take care of everything cleanly and safely. They got the job done with no damage to any surrounding plants or my small trees planted near there. They also completed the job despite a sudden rainstorm halfway through. I cant say enough about the service.

The people at Boutte Tree did an awesome job on our trees. We have a large sycamore that we love, but whose leader had been struck by lightning way up high and needed removal. The problem was, they had to drop that long and heavy branch between wires in my amateur radio antenna which run throughout the tree in several directions. Second, our neighbor had a 90 foot high dead pine that needed felling, located in an inaccessible area. Too dead to climb, and only a very limited number of directions it could fall without trashing something important. Third was some smaller trees whose lower branches needed cleaning out. Kevin McDonnell was the person who came out, surveyed our situation and gave us our estimate - he did a great job and was interesting and fun to talk to - very knowledgeable and you can tell how much he loves trees and wants to know all he can about them. Then, Jacob, Gabriel, Jerry, and Charles came out and did the work. Absolutely amazing to watch. Climbed the Sycamore, dropped the leader right through a gap in my ham radio wire antennas without touching them. They dropped the pine tree right into a 10 degree or so sector where nobodys structure would get hurt, and where azaleas and other plantings would not get trashed. I have always been highly pleased with their consummately professional work and reasonable prices.This morning, their aerial crew came out to remove a limb in a sycamore tree. The limb hung over the house and threatened the main roof ridge. But just as important to me, its branches had captured and entangled the wires of one of my ham radio antennas, during windy storms and the natural growth process. The trick would be to take down the limb without breaking the antenna wires or trashing the house. Not a risk-free or easy job.So the Boutte aerial crew showed up with a small European crane on tank treads called an OmmeLift. They deftly maneuvered the crane around my tight driveway, working it into a small corner where the iron hydraulic spider legs could drop and grab the driveway with only inches to spare. Jimmy got in the basket, and then Nayef and Mike rendered a virtuoso performance on the control levers to articulate Jimmy around the sky. The basket reached long and pirouetted up around the branches, way high up to the limb. Jimmy surgically cut away small pieces from the branches to untangle the wire, throwing them clear of the house. Then larger pieces, then really big pieces, all dropping safely to the ground, not even trashing a Japanese maple directly underneath. In a few minutes, the performance was over, the crane crawled back up the driveway, and they were gone, my antenna and my house still happily intact.What a professional group of people. Boutte Tree Service, Inc, did an amazing job on our back yard. We had two huge trees down from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irma. The trees were large and tall when we moved in almost 39 years ago. The Pine was hit by an oak tree from the property behind us, and both trees completely filled our back yard with debris. The pine had 107 growth rings, was over 75ft high. Their efficiency and quality of work was amazing. There was no wasted effort, and they also were efficient, industrious and commendable. Very pleased with the work, the staff and the exceptionally professional service.

Excellent service! I cannot think of one thing they could have done better. The people are friendly and easy to work with. They did everything they said, when they said it would happen and kept me updated through the process. I like that its easy to communicate with them via email and I was able to pay my bill online. My tree looks great, better than I expected.

They scaled the large trees on my property with ease (with ropes and chainsaws strapped to their bodies) and were sensitive to my input and concerns about over-trimming. In particular, they did a beautiful job shaping the large oak in the front yard: its still as beautiful as ever!

My experience with Boutte Tree was the best! A huge tree fell on my house on Christmas Eve when I was out of town. When I called Boutte to come out for quote, Phil Sehenuk was super quick and provided a lot of guidance on the process. Then he was able to quickly schedule a team to come remove the tree off my house/property the very next day which was on New Years Eve! I was very impressed with the crew and their resourcefulness in what appeared to be somewhat of a complicated job. The tree was very long and had crashed through my screened porch and was propped up on the roof of my house. His team (led by Marquis) was very respectful and performed the job swiftly and efficiently. I was fascinated watching the team effort in pulling the tree up off my house. Additionally, a concern of my next door neighbor was that Bouttes tractor may potentially damage his yard and/or driveway in order to access into my backyard. When I communicated this to Marquis, he responded by laying down wooden planks all along the front yard and entry way and used their smallest tractor to minimize the potential damage. At the end of the project, I saw no damage, no messed up yard, and they were even able to completely avoid using my neighbors driveway. I was impressed!!

I had a large oak tree very close to my house that died. I hired Boutte to remove the tree. Given the trees proximity to the house it was a very technical job, but Boutte Trees crew did an excellent job. Their crane operator is a maestro and they were able to remove the tree safely and quickly despite having very little room to work with. The communication with their front office and their arborist was great and I had my questions answered promptly every step of the way. I considered four different tree removal companies for this job and Boutte was by far the most professional and knowledgeable.

We recently hired Boutte Tree to take down a number of trees on our property. Two of the trees were extremely large and in precarious positions over our home. They did an incredible job! Watching the crane operator maneuver the massive tree branches from the sky into our front yard was mesmerizing. The crew took such care with what they were doing even my newly planted baby lettuce, right beside the cranes parked wheel, remained untouched. Then came the arborist in the high-up branches with his chainsaw and smile - his skill was amazing to watch! There were 2 very large dead trees in my front yard that needed to be removed - I live on a pretty busy street and street had to be blocked off and traffic rerouted - it was a daunting prospect and I was nervous! Boutte Tree staff were easy to work with to set up an appointment, I appreciated that we could communicate over email. The arborist showed up on time for our initial consultation, and looked at all the trees on the property with me. They were not overly sales-y, just gave me their opinion on the trees, and quoted me for the requested work.The team showed up to take down the limb as scheduled. I saw them briefly when I got home and they were finishing up. They seemed to be operating professionally, and were all very friendly and nice. The final charge was for the quoted amount, so no surprises at the end of the job!

We were very sad when we had to remove a 75 year post oak that was struck by lightning, but Heath at Boutte Tree walked us through the process and sent out a great team led by Alex to take it down. The guys took extra care to protect our lawn, and removed and replaced our fence without damaging it. After the tree was systematically cut, they cleaned up the area with remarkable attention to detail. However, the highlight of the day was the absolute compassion they all showed for the two baby squirrels that were in a nest high up in the branches. They removed the babies, placed them in a safe place, and returned to them at the end of the day to set them free. Sweet thing to witness from this fearless team!

Outstanding service! We are so happy we chose Boutte Tree. We had decent size job over the course of two days (removing 8 trees and pruning others) and the entire team went above and beyond our expectations. The crew even brought in their own crane (our neighbors were so impressed!). One thing that stood out to me was catching Jake (the crew leader) on our Ring doorbell carefully taking our American flag down the morning they were going to be bringing trees over our house with the crane. He respectfully rolled up our flag and safely put it in the corner by our front door so it wouldnt get dirty from the tree debris. After they were done for the day, he put it right back up.
