This team is incredible. They were wonderful partners in helping me bring my renovation vision to life. My on-site project manager, Ollie, is a treasure and has the most terrific problem-solving attitude. I also really enjoyed working with their recommended subcontractors.As with any renovation project, costs crept up more than I would have liked but I feel like it was 100% worth it and the team was respectful to my budget.They did a full kitchen and bathroom renovation in my 1925 apartment. My kitchen was likely last renovated in the 90s, but wasnt done well (for instance, the duct work installed chopped my wall and window in half). I think my bathroom had mostly original fixtures that after almost 100 years (like the floor) werent holding up well.The pictures* say it all (though I would love to take better pictures of my bathroom, its such a small room that the photos dont do this transformation justice and it has beautiful art now). I am still in touch with them and will absolutely consider them for any further work.*picture quality is poor because I had to screenshot from my instagram, whoops! didnt realize I had deleted them already

We recently completed a major home renovation with Intown. From the start Barry, Ana, Ollie and Jennifer were very professional and extremely mindful of our time. They provided us detailed quotes along with quality referrals (please keep in mind we had architecture, surveys, permits, etc. prepared) which ultimately made us feel very comfortable using them for the project. Ana and Ollie were great to work with and very present during the project. The team has an excellent relationship with their subcontractors and because of that, we were able to finish on schedule. No project is easy! There are unforeseen twists and turns that cannot be accounted for which is the reality of renovation work. With that said, every aspect of the project was met with professionalism, promptness and reasonable thinking/action. I would use Barry and his team again and would highly recommend them for someone elses home project.

Called to set up some drywall removal I need completed. I asked about the negative reviews on their company from here. The insisted they have many more positive reviews than negative ones. They pressured me for alot of info I didnt feel was relevant. I decided to steer clear. Theres several companies with much better reputations in Atlanta. I suppose it could all be conjecture but Im not willing to take the risk with my home repairs. Sorry Intown Renovations Group, reputation matters in 2021.

Intown Renovations Group just completed renovating two bathrooms in our home, and also updated our spare room with a custom bar and shelving. We were extremely happy with their work. Their design team (Jennifer and Ana) were very knowledgeable, and came up with an excellent plan to redesign two old and uncomfortable bathrooms into a true master bath and guest bath without tearing down multiple walls. Alicia kept us well informed throughout the project, usually with daily communication and a weekly fee schedule, and the team was able to complete everything within our approved timeline and budget. Their tile contractor was outstanding, and the finished bathrooms look beautiful. We would definitely recommend them, and hope to use them again in the future for other projects.

Alicia, Ollie, and their team did a phenomenal job with our master bathroom. Their tile contractor was excellent and we were kept informed of the project schedule throughout each week. The only issue we had was with the paint contractor. The painters werent thorough and there were a fair amount of touch-ups and re-dos that we had to ask for. Overall, they were extremely easy and nice to work with and we would definitely have them come back to do another project.

We recently completed a full home renovation with Barry, Ana, and Ollie at IRG. The project was massive and had some bumps as would be expected, but I appreciate the teams willingness to work through any issues we encountered. Ana did a great job keeping us informed of project timeline and when items were needed. She also constantly worked to pull things ahead as able. Ollie has a great eye for detail and wouldnt let things slide with the subs. He clearly has a wealth of experience in home building and understands how to drive quality output. Barry provided us a detailed estimate and worked to stay to it; all change orders were discussed and approved in advance.

My husband and I found Intown Renovations Group through a quick Google search. We desperately wanted to redo our master bathroom and another half bath. After receiving two other quotes, we decided to work with Intown Renovations Group. Jennifer came out and listened to what we were looking for, and I felt like she really heard me and had some great design ideas. The reason I am not giving the full 5 stars is because of my experience with certain sub-contractors. Some were great- friendly, hard-working, and conscious of the fact that we had a baby sleeping upstairs. Others werent as respectful- playing loud music, tracking dirt onto our carpet, and cursing loudly. BUT, I will say that Alicia was on top of it - she was always communicating with me and listened to my ideas and concerns. She was prompt in sending someone out immediately to fix something several months after the renovation was finished. I enjoyed working with her and her team. We absolutely love how everything turned out!

Alex Leal and his team of the Intown Painting Group met my expectations and exceeded them by a mile.On the initial consultation, he walked through the home with me and we discussed what definitely needed attention and what areas really did not need to be touched. He had smart ideas and tips that were cost efficient.Intown Painting finished the job 2 days prior to the expected finish date. What was astonishing, was the perfection of the finished product. The lines were crisp; the application even and not a drop of stray paint. Also, I was very satisfied with the high quality of the paint colors.The final cost matched his original estimate, even though he painted a couple of areas that I had decided to skip over. He did this at no extra charge because he wanted a perfect match on two bordering whites.I highly recommend the Intown Painting Group and look forward to my next painting project

We were so happy we used Intown Renovations Group to remodel our kitchen/living area and master bathroom in Virginia Highland. They got the job done in the time we expected and answered all of our questions throughout the project. If we ever had a concern about how something was executed, Intown Renovations Group always made the issue right. Kurt was our project manager who consistently checked in our project, answered our phone calls/texts/emails and did a superb job at coordinating all the sub-contractors to get their jobs done at the right time. He always had a calm demeanor about him too which put us at ease while having our house demod. Probably the most surprising aspect of our remodel was that when it was done, everything was cleaned up to the point where we didnt have to hire an outside cleaning crew. We would absolutely use Intown Renovations Group again for future home remodel projects.

Alex and his team painted the entire inside of our house. They were very careful to cover everything including all the floors, they worked reasonable hours (not too early or too late) and we are very happy with the quality of their work. We would definitely use them again.

Intown Renovations Group did a whole house remodel and second story addition to our home and we are so happy with the outcome. The project wasnt without hiccups, as would be expected with a project of this complexity and size, but Ana Lloreda and Ollie Lowery worked hard to keep our project on track and to be sure we were happy with everything. They make a great team! As a result, we were very pleased to finish on time and on budget and would recommend IRG to family and friends.

IRG did a very large scale renovation of our home in Morningside/Lenox for my husband and I. We have had many experiences with contractors over the years and this one was the best we have had due to the professionalism and quality of work. Its not often that you get to the end of a big project and can say that you would hire them again. This is the highest praise I can think to give. Barrys group takee great pride in their work and they see it through to completion, always working hard to meet the expectations of the client. We are enjoying the fruits of their labor and are so happy in our new home!

Intown Renovations Group was highly recommended by neighbors and a colleague, however our experience with the group was less than good and far from exceptional. We spoke to them in mid-July to get an understanding of the scope of work and the timeframe in which they could complete the work. At that time the owner stated he would like to take on the job and estimated it would take about 2 weeks once the material was order and the job started. Unfortunately, the work was not complete until the last week of October and delayed our home sale. In additional there were many starts and stops, and the job required constant management to ensure the entire proposed and paid for scope was completed. One of the most frustrating parts of the entire process was that we had to constantly call, text, and email the owner and his team to get information (i.e. when the team would be pulled off our job for another project we would not be notified when they would return). We had ram board taped to our real hardwood flooring for 3 plus months which stripped portions of the finish.Part of the scope was painting, and the paint manger was absolutely rude and demeaning. He insulted the fact that I wanted different paint colors in different locations of the home even though it was quoted in the proposal we signed. In addition, three weeks after the home was painted it started peeling from the ceiling and we had to have it redone. We had the outside landings painted and they also started peeling and flaking with long strips missing. When I met with him he stated, “the paint was never meant to last forever”, I reminded him it was painted less than 2 month ago and he said call him when the weather was good, and he would find time to repaint. We moved this winter and after paying 1k to have the outside landings painted it never got redone.There was some really great work done, especially in the area of running new piping and in woodwork but I would never hire this group again.

A little detail about why we didnt use IRG for our renovation:1. When we called to inquire about setting up an estimate, we were told our address was not within the preferred part of town. We live on the Westside and IRG prefers working in Midtown.2. An IRG employee showed up for the estimate and was ill-prepared to take measurements. She proceeded to use her arms to try to take the cabinet dimensions. Thats not a precise way to do that.3. We were told that the cabinet maker was not technologically-savvy and would rely on a friend to print out emails detailing information regarding the cabinet order. We saw this as an obstacle that would slow down the renovation process.4. We were also told that IRG wouldnt complete the entire aspects of the renovation that we wanted. So we would need to hire additional firms to complete the kitchen and powder room renovation.
